Description:

I cannot get enough of two things: Valentine themed ATC swaps and Hello Kitty so I have combined the two!

For this swap you will make a quality ATC with a Valentine theme and Hello Kitty.

Requirements: • 1 ATC to each partner

2 partners

• ATC must measure 2.5" x 3.5"

*ATC must not be sticker slapped but nicely done. A sticker on it is ok but must be something you are proud of and would want to pull out of your mailbox.

• ATC must have a Valentine theme.

• Write swap info/name, etc. on the back of the ATC

  • ATC must have a sturdy back

• ATC may be sent in a plastic sleeve but not mandatory

Send in time for Valentine delivery!

I found lots of samples when I searched google images and the picture sample is from the internet. SO cute! That's where I got the picture that I posted. Totes adorbs!

Please make the two ATCs and place them in an envelope with postage, ready to send NOW. When the partners are assigned, you will address your envie and send it off. This will stop the endless chatter of "Oh, it's late because the dog ate my homework!" Gets boring.

Please do not feel that you have to send extras in order to get a heart. A heart is given when your partner is happy with the ATC they received. Obviously it is fun to get neat extras but sometimes I look at profiles and I really have nothing that my partner would like!

Please copy my post if you would like to create an INTERNATIONAL or Canadian version. This one is USA only. Thank you!

Please only sign up if you will gladly participate.

I do not angel but am happy when people contact me that they are willing to. Thank you for doing that.

excuse the newbie question but what does ATC stand for

plushiecat 01/30/2015 #

ah! That stand for 'Artist Trading Card'. They are mini works of art that are 2.5" x 3.5", oriented either horizontally or vertically. They can be done in any medium, paint, collage, mixed--no limits except the size! Many prefer to keep them on the 'thin' side so they can fit in sleeves, but I have seen swaps that are specifically for 'chunky' ones. :) What I view ATCs as is a way to just have fun and try new things. They are great for that because you don't use lots of material when you make one, and if you dislike it, you can try again! Their other 'purpose' is a way to share your art with others, and trade the cards with people once you get a collection going. Think of 'em like crafters' bubblegum cards! Try one! You will become addicted. I know--it happened to me, and now I have a rolly cse dedicated to my ATC stuff!! O.o Happy crafting! :D Oh! One other rule about ATCs: you need to put a title, your name and emil on the back. Why? Nominally they are also sorta like business cards, and maybe someone wants to keep in touch with you! :D

@Tia , the Type of swap should be Type 3: Package or Craft since it's an ATC. I just thought I'd let you know. ;) Putting this on my watchlist. Two of my favorite things: HK and Valentine's Day! Great swap idea!
