Well, I received your recipe today and I sent off my recipe to you late today. Now we are down to the last letter and we will have completed our Alphabet Recipe Postcard Collection. AMAZING!!! You have done a great job in keeping those of us who stuck it out to the very end focused. I look forward to trying your "Yum Yum Strawberry Pie" as I love Strawberry Pie. What has been AMAZING as well is that I did not get one repeat recipe throughout the entire swap. Comment: Hahahaha! I opened my mailbox this afternoon and was surprised to see a thermos in there. At first, I assumed one of the junior high or high school kids found it in the street and just shoved it into my mailbox. But then I saw the postage label and mail label and burst out laughing!!! I LOVE the sticky notes that were tucked inside!! Thanks for sending such a fun and unique item through the mail!!!

Can you believe that we are already on "Q" and moving onto "R?" This swap has really gone by quickly and I have not got one, not one single one repeat recipe. So, if it continues, when this swap is all over, I will have some 104 new recipes to add to my recipe box and to try. This has been a great swap. With that all said, thank you for your Q Recipe, the Quick Pumpkin Bread. It sounds YUMMY especially because it has a pound cake mix in it. Comment: The first swap that arrived did not meet swap rules. I am the host and the partner in this case. The rule was to send 7/8th of one ounce to once ounce of scrap paper but only 1/4 ounce was sent.
After contacting the member to discuss this she sent me a much larger amount than the swap called for.
I was disappointed that Susi didn't follow the rules. However, Susi was very friendly and the situation was corrected, so I am rating her a 5.
Response: I am glad that you recieved the packet of papers, and hope that you can use them in your art.
For the zillionth time I apologize for the first mistake, i was unaware of the weight, that's all.

Comment: I loved the poetry book. The first poem was incredible, because it happens to be a favorite. I am a teacher in a bilingual/bicultural state and have used the poem in a lesson. If you are not from the SW or west it might not be familiar.
Now I could be picky and give a lower rating because a pen wasn't included, but I won't because I could tell that my partner spent time working on this journal for me, and that time is valuable. Thank you Susi!

Comment: Susi, I loved how you combined the "old box" and your own embellishments to create this postcard! The flowers from the Chamomile tea box were perfect for you to set the 'picket fence' sticker in front of and in theme for the bees and ladybug stickers you affixed. I loved the quote "Earth laughs in flowers" by Ralph Waldo Emerson. You really went to some effort in creating this card and I loved it! Thank you!
