Comment: Thanks! The postcards and stickers are so cute. :)
Diva sounds like such a sweetie! And, well, I've got a soft spot for stories about gentle, loving pits. :) Hope you enjoy your trip later this year!
Comment: Thanks for your letter Ambrosia. I cannot imagine getting any personal creative work done doing the kind of freelance writing you do at home. For that very reason I avoided journalism and every other wiriting "job" and preferred flat out work that didn't sap my brain. But if it's working for you ... different strokes you know. Good luck in 2014.
Comment: Thank you so much for your art on this subject! While I am into gore and horror and death, this one was a bit harder than I thought it would be for me. Mine was very depictive of the horror side. I like how you kept it more vague! Thanks!
Response: I am glad that you liked this. I made a couple of versions some were more gore filled. In the end this was the one I liked the best and hoped you would like it too :) Thank you for the rating and heart.
Comment: Ambrosia, thank you for the beautiful card. I am picturing my own face if I had opened the box you did! Definite frowny face!
Response: Ha ha your welcome. Glad you liked it :) oh yeah major frowny face..plus side is I do have family that will appreciate the cards so not a total bummer, lol. Thank you for the rating and heart. MWAH
Comment: Thank you so very much for introducing me to Bast! I have studied some Egyptian deities but not in detail. I now want to learn more! I really appreciate the incense, it smells lovely and I always love to have some burning in my home. I also enjoyed reading you letter, thank you so much for such a lovely swap! If you do this swap again please let me know, I would love to join again! :o)
Response: You are so welcome I am so happy that you enjoyed everything :) I wanted to make the packet enjoyable :D I will probably run this one again sometime in the spring :D Thank you for the rating and heart.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful journal. I have had such fun reading through it - I really feel like I have got to know you which has been such a pleasure and a privilege. Your writing is truly fabulous too. This is a journal I shall treasure because of the time you have put into it. Thank you for starting the group and I am so looking forward to getting involved in and hosting lots more journal swaps next year. xxx
Response: I am so pleased you liked it! I always worry a little :) it was a true bit of fun making it for you and making sure everything was just so. Thank you for being in the group :) and being an officer and thank you for the rating and heart :D
Comment: Thanks for the lovely blue card-I love blue and silver Christmas stuff, for some reason. We used to cut our own tree when I was young, but for the past few years, I have had to make do with a tiny artificial tree.
Response: We have had a small fake tree the last few years too since moving here to Indiana..told Hubby that is changing this year. Glad you liked the card :) thank you for the heart and rating.
Comment: Thank you. When our kids were little and we lived in Michigan we would go out and pick a tree to cut down too but I remember the kids always complained about how cold is was. Now we all live in e different southern states and miss going out in the cold and snow for a tree.
Response: isnt that always the way of things? I hope you have a good holiday thank you for rating and the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the fabulous Star Trek card! The resend found its way to me safely and I absolutely love it. Adoring the Kirk & Bones chemistry, you put in so much effort and care!
Response: I am so happy it made it safe and sound and that you like it. I had a great deal of fun making it and showing my Bones and Kirk geekness to you :D Thank you very much for rating and the heart.
Comment: The first one (seen here: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3797/10464933804_232fb30a9d_c.jpg) arrived in a USPS body bag as it had come apart. The second one (seen here: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7441/10600216584_5391d07145.jpg and here: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3793/10600264725_47b7142f9d.jpg and here: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3811/10600207195_b835e04039.jpg) barely made it as it looks like one of the corners was ripped off on the front, the back is barely hanging on by a thread, and half of the message is missing. I am not trying to be rude or mean, but as I tried to explain after receiving the first card, whatever it is that you're using to put these together is not cutting it. I was really hoping to receive something that survived the mail.
Response: I used something completely different the second time I would have thought industrial adhesive should have worked fine. I am sorry you did not get it intact the second time either. This is how it was sent.
Comment: Thank you for sharing your board! I want to read so many of these (especially the historical fiction ones), so I liked most of your pins to remind me to add them to my ever-growing to-read list!
Response: Hahaha that happened to me too the TBR pile just grows and grows :) hope you enjoy some of them soon! Thank you for the rating and heart.
Comment: Thanks for joining the swap and thank you for your board. I almost put Vampire Academy on mine, I did enjoy them just not as much as everything else. I haven't heard of most of your other favorites.
Response: I think i ended up adding it because I have a soft spot for Dmitri lol thank you for the rating and heart :)
Comment: Thank you for the incense and smudge fan!
Response: Very welcome I hope you get good use of both :) Hubby has been amused by my rash of smudge fan making lately (spend hours at the park finding the right sticks lol) Thank you for the rating and heart :D
Comment: I was just in your city and loved it. You have wonderful pictures pinned of places I couldn't get photos of.
Response: I am glad you enjoyed them I have been to every place I pinned so many times I took them for granted until I moved to a new city now I miss them all. So glad you enjoyed the board :) Thank you for the rating and heart.
Comment: Thank you for the very ugly but also interesting card. I agree with you on the design and color. De designer of this pamflet (Wijdeveld) is a Dutch designer, architect and graphic artist, his style depicts an important periode. He announces an exhibition from the American architect FL Wright. My parents visited the USA 2 years ago to visit several of the houses he designed. So this ugly card holds a story, and a Dutch USA connection. :-) Thank you for sending this ugly card to me!!
Response: Thank you for more information on the card! That is very cool to know :) Glad you liked my "ugly" card :) thank you for the 5 and heart.
Comment: Thank you soooooo much for the Hook pictures! I find him so ruggedly handsome. He's one of those bad boys you end up loving and I think he desperately wants to be a good guy....deep, deep, deep down inside.
Response: You are so welcome. I agree he is rugged and a bad boy. We can see glimmers of that good guy when he does the right thing. I think he has it in him to be honorable :) Thanks for the heart and rating.
Comment: Thanks for your reading list. I read the VA series a while ago, it gets more complicated in the 5th and 6th books, and they're pretty decent. I highly recommend the spin off series after you're done with the VA ones.
Response: Your very welcome. I will have to see if I go to the spin off I might..I am always willing to give things a chance :) Thank you for the rating and heart.
Comment: Wow. You've read some really interesting books this month, and I enjoyed checking out your blog. After reading your more in depth review there, I'm especially interested in checking out something by Natsuo Karin. Thank you!
Response: Thank you for the rating and heart :) Yeah I was looking over everything going "wow I really read a VARIETY for July". I do really think you will enjoy Natuso Karin.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard of Bill. I'm a negligent fan, though, and have yet to catch up on Season 5. Probably closer to summer. Those Cynsters sure are wiley. My best friend is responsible for introducing them to me well over a decade ago. I'm currently working on the Black Cobra books in between other series. Most days we have a good time playing with the paper. Wish I could say that trends look good for certain stationery items. For instance, the companies we purchase from keep offering fewer and fewer lettersets. Notecards, especially for Thank Yous, remain strong, but decorative sheets of paper have disappeared from catalogues. Take care!
Response: I wouldn't call you a negligent fan but rather savoring the season ;). Decorative sheets have dissapeared? Okay I must go and mourn now.
Comment: Hello Anbrosia,
Thank you for your ATC that you created for me for this swap. Yellow was a great choice for a "Y" word and a yellow sunflower is a great representation for yellow. This will be a positive addition to my A-Z is for....ATC Series.
Response: Your very welcome. Thank you for the rating. I thought a sunflower would brighten the fall days to come :)
Comment: Hello Anbrosia,
Thank you for your ATC that you created for me for this swap. I like the colors of Impatiens you found to display on your ATC. This will be a positive addition to my Flower Series.
Response: Thank you for the rating your very welcome for the flowers :) I thought they were a bit different and pretty.
Comment: Glittery :-) I like the two different looks you used for Giles. The border is a little overwhelming, but maybe just because I'd like to see more of the Giles pictures. Thanks for the great ATC!
Response: sorry about the border but I am glad you liked it otherwise :) Giles was one of my favorites for the series. I loved his many layers :) Thank you for the rating and heart.
Comment: Thanks so much for the ATC beautifully done. Didn't know Edward the Black Prince was a person before this, so I had to look it up and learn something new. Have a good one, hope to swap with you soon.
Response: so glad you liked him. Edward is one of my all time favorite historical Prince's even if he is not the most documented one :) Thank you for the heart and rating!
Comment: Thank you for the Mastiff ATC! I LOVE this picture!! Happy to swap with you, again...When is the next Cat Breeds swap? Lovin that one, too! :)
Response: Such big loveable dogs! My friend has one 185lbs of lap dog ha ha. The next cat breed swap will be soon I am making my list of swaps I need to host here in the next few days :) Thank so much for the rating and heart.
Comment: Hello Ambrosia,
What a great choice of words for V. Thank you for the nice ATC you created for me for this swap. I like how you used an adjective instead of a noun. I will be happy to add your ATC to my A-Z is for.....ATC Series.
Response: So glad you liked it I loved Make it or break it I am sorry its off the air. Thanks for the hear and 5.
Comment: Thank you. I have not only received the link to the photos of the postcard for Deb but have now received the postcard as well. Deb will love it for sure. Thanks so much for being a part of this project for a truly awesome woman.

I am throughly enjoying the Swap ATC's, especially the flower ones!!!
Thanks again for all!!!!
Response: Oh I am so glad you liked it. I always think of Pansys being bright and vibrant so I wanted that to come across :) thank you for the rate and heart.
Comment: Pashanista, huh? ^^ It was a delight to read your letter and follow those important stages in your life with songs ^.^ It was a good idea to add the lyrics too <3 Thank you so much! Finally, I'm writing you for another swap too ^^
Response: yeah i changed it up a bit ha ha. Rl matches sb a bit more now. so glad you liked the letter and the music. I love music so much probably because it is so connected to dance :) look forward to your letter too thanks for the rate and heart.
Comment: Thank you sooo much for re-sent the swap and thank you for the wonderful journal you made! It was so much fun! Your swap made my day:-)
Thank you also for the cute stickers:-)
Response: i am so glad the resend got there. i was so worried it wouldn't. i think i am gonna have to start using a different po for packages my little local one is not being so reliable. i am glad you enjoyed the journal it was fun to make even more fun the second time ha ha :D thank you for the rate and heart!

Response: so glad you liked the letter it was really nice to write it to you. glad you liked the paper..I am a paper addict :) Thank you for the rate and the heart.
Comment: Love this. Very artful. Btw please dont forget to put the red dot. Luckily you didnt put anything too explicit in this one since my 8 year old opened it. ack! lol
Response: OMG I am SO SORRY...one of my other swap partners is probably wondering why they have a red dot on their envelope..i know i dotted something. So glad you liked the atc though thank you for the heart.
Comment: Thankyou Ambrosia for the lovely creative, Thomas O' Maley cat, ATC, it is so cute. I love this film. It is so nice to be your partner for this swap, it is a pleasure. I love to recieve from you, thanks love jennifer.
Response: aw I am so glad you liked him. I love that film as well. Thank you so much for the heart.
Comment: Hello Anbrosia,
Thank you for your J is for....ATC that you created for me. I've noticed that you have been using these pictures of men. Do they come from a movie or TV show? Happy Swapping!!!
Response: Thank you for the rate glad you liked it. It depends on the man thats been used, I like to use Pasha in a lot of my work he is a ballroom dancer. Though J was for Jasper and hes a character for Twilight :) played by Jackson Rathbone so got a double J there.
Comment: Thanks for the great ATC and for reading my profile : ) I do enjoy DWTS not for the 'stars' but rather for the ballroom dancing - wish I had done that in my youth : ) Thanks again for the great ATC and for making it so personal for me ~~
Response: Your very welcome I am so glad you liked it. I am with you I watch DWTS for the dancers more than the stars. I miss doing ballroom so I have to watch others :)thank you for the heart.
Comment: I always enjoy sending to you, and receiving from you, Ambrosia. I used the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, CA (where I grew up) as my Victorian house, and as I was making it, I was thinking this: I used to want to live in a big, beautiful Victorian house, and now I'm simply grateful that I'm not responsible for that upkeep! Thanks for being such a great swap partner.
Response: Aw so glad you liked it and thank you for the rate. My Aunt lives in a Victorian home so I am with you on the upkeep I know how much work she puts into it!
Comment: Hi, Ambrosia! (what a pretty name, btw!) I just received your kawaii & lovely letter in my mailbox today. Thank you so much! Wow, 10 cats!!!! YOU totally rock!! \m/(>___<)\m/ I soooo want to be a cat lady! Haha, well, I will write you back very soon. Thanks, again, for the letter (^____^) Hope you have a great day! Feline power!! - Dee
Response: Aw thank you. Glad you liked the letter. Ha ha yes I am a cat lady lol i look forward to your reply thank you for the heart.
Comment: What a cute little fox you put with the Foxhound. We have fox in our neighborhood all the time, and the last few years they had litters in our neighbors garden. They are adorable when they are playing with each other.
Response: I love foxes they are so cute :) I would love to see them playing! I was always told it was good luck to see a fox. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: Thanks for the TWO WITCHY ATC cards and the incense sticks. What scent is the incense? - I LOVE IT! Hope that was all that was in the package, because it was open - you might want to use some tape over the flap next time.
Response: sorry about the flap that was all that was in it (and a swap card with swap name). I am glad you liked the items :) the incense sticks are one of the blends I make myself i call that one sekhmet :)
Comment: Thanks for the great card! Is your name really Ambrosia? I know a girl with the name Precious and one named London. I Also know a man whose name on the Birth certificate is Honey Child. They called him H.C.
Response: Your welcome glad you liked it :) yes my name really is Ambrosia. wow..honey child...that one is more unique than mine, lol
Comment: Thanks so much-- really enjoying these, and I'm definitely looking forward to getting more creative with them in the future as we start trickling down to the less "accessible" figures :P
Response: Glad you liked it Antony is my all time favorite roman :D Ha ha Yes it will be fun to get more and more creative. I am not a fan of Brutus...I have pondered using a dog named brutus for his......LOL
Comment: AHHHH!! I freaking love this postcard. too funny that you picked it out just for me blindly! lol. i have a few other true blood postcards but not of bill. thanks so much! & i would love to be penpals with you - i will admit i am a bit behind on letters right now though. message me! =)
Response: Ha that is great! Talk about a good blind pick!!! Message coming your way :)
Comment: Thanks for the great envelope! I love your swap card btw, I love moo! lol. You said thanks for hosting in your note but I actually didn't host this one >.< But thank you for everything and the bookmark (I think it's a bookmark? haha)
Response: I must have slipped the wrong card into the wrong envelope...i sent to the host too, LOl DOH sorry about that ha ha. glad you liked the envelope though and it is a bookmark :) heh I LOVE moo too though I got a bigger order from vistaprint recently as they were more affordable.
Comment: Thank you very much for sharing your dreams and thoughts! It's great to hear that you have many positive things on your mind and I wish that inspiring dreams can also be a source of energy for you!
Response: Thank you for the rate and the heart. I hope i keep having the good dreams too had a bad one last night but they cant all be winners :)
Comment: What a sunny and cute card. I got it while I'm fighting off a virus...fever, aches, etc. So the sunshine of the card brightened my day. Thanks so very much, and p.s. what a cute idea with the kitty cat cards! Clever!
Response: Aww i am glad it came at the right time. Hope your feeling better :) and thank you I love my kitty swap cards :)
Comment: I absolutely loved reading your apocalyptic letter. I loved the thought you put into all the details - it just made it so much more realistic and easier to remember (always a good idea to have a handy man. :)). Thanks for making my day!! :D
Response: *chuckles* never hurts to have a handy man ;) so glad you liked the letter! It was really fun to write!
Comment: Beautiful letter! I loved it all - from the stationery to the seal to the wonderful introduction inside. Bear with me as I'm a bit behind on my personal correspondence (due to the 31-Letter Challenge...heh...) but I *will* respond. ♥
Response: OH I am so glad that you liked it. And please take you time I am a bit behind on mine as well with the 31 letter challenge heh :)
Comment: I don't like to give 3's but this time I thought about it. In my opinion a daisie is a white flower with a yellow heart. Not a pink one. And a picture with only stick a rand is not what I called effort in your work.
Response: I am sorry you did not like the art work. Daisys do however come in many colors and types, the swap description did not state that it had to be a white daisy. http://www.theflowerexpert.com/content/growingflowers/flowersandgeography/daisies . The photo was also created digital and embelishment added, Digital medium does take time to work with. Have a nice day.
Comment: Thank you very much for your letter and sharing your story and even a photo! I've never had a grandmother, so it was very special to read about your memories, I could picture everything very well! ^.^ Looking forward to swapping more with you!
Response: I look forward to swapping with you as well. Thank you for the heart I am glad you enjoyed the story and the picture :)
Comment: I like the saying. Who is the guy on the postcard? He looks like he 's in a movie. He's got brown hair, a 5 o'clock shadow, he's wearing a coat with a furry collar and he's kinda smirking. There are a bunch of guys behind him who look like they're all going to beat Frankenstein with sticks.
Response: This will sound horrible, but I dont remember which card i sent? Can you describe I will know than...color me a ditz today.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful swap! The ATC's are gorgeous and I love how you put the "hope" one in a velvet bag...very nice. :) The box is awesome too! Thanks so much for everything! :)
Response: oh thank you I am so glad you like it and that it got there safe and sound. This was my first bigger swap :) I couldn't resist it as Pandora's box is my favorite story. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: Meowy New Year!!
Thank you for the great 'tail' about your Christmas. It sounds like you and your human had fun. We hope you have a meowy new year!!
Data & Geordi Unrue (=^.^=)
Comment: Thanks for the ATC. I like what you did. Did you know that New Zealand, where I live, was the first country to give women the vote!! Very forward thinking for a small country but perhaps that made it easier for the women to be heard.
Response: I am glad you liked it. I did not know that NZ was the first country to give women the vote thank you for that info. I love learning new things :)
Comment: Hi! I enjoyed reading your answers and no problem on not sharing your family recipes - I am sure they are wonderful, but they belong to you, so... I hope you have a wonderful day with your hubby! Hugs, Happy Thanksgiving and Swapping! ;)
Response: Thank you I hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving as well :)
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. It's great. Just the other day I was trying to remem in what T.V. series or movie the vampire drank (sp?) synthetic blood instead of the real thing. When I saw your postcard
I started to laugh because you answer my question. <3
Response: heheh glad i was able to answer the question and glad you liked the card :D
Comment: What a lovely fall postcard! After the weekend of rain, we are now into a spell of very cool weather... just a hint of the brutal winter that will be here before we know it... BRRR! Enjoy your warm weather, I hope we get ours back for a few days of Indian Summer, at least.
Comment: Thanks so much for the awesome Bill postcard! I haven't gotten past the 2nd book yet, but I don't like him very much as King Bill in the show. He irks me. (postcard here: http://bit.ly/qxpN0B)
Comment: Jeff, dont worry, you did not send me a duplicate, but if you had my roommate might have enjoyed it. We both like the movie "a knights tale" I only wish Edward had a bigger part..I love that character.
Response: whew :) I wish he had as well I loved the character and I adore the actor :D well least i can see him in rome too hehe
Comment: Received your postcard today - I think the lie is that you were a ballroom dancer? Let me know! Thanks again for joining my swap. (｡◕‿‿◕｡)
Response: Nope I was a American smooth Ballroom dancer who also dabbled in International Latin :) Its the truth :) I honestly did forget what I wrote for my lie..because I am such a bad liar message me with the other two? I can let you in on it..lol :) Fun swap!
