Comment: This tile is so beautiful! I love the steampunk look of it as well as being so pretty. I really liked doing this swap, the decorations opened up so many new possibilities. The envelope was lovely to start but you made it so much more interesting. Thanks for a great swap.
Comment: What a cute card! I feel like maybe our postalettes were made by the same artist. I hope you do this one again as I just found some vintage postalettes in my collection. Your story is so cool! I have never heard of pet bunnies getting loose and going back to the wild, so to speak, wow! Maybe when they get cold, they will finally use the hutches you so kindly made them. Thanks for a great swap! :):):)
Response: You're very welcome. I love living with bunches of little black bunnies running around!
Comment: Hi Prairie Kittin, I received Kokopelli, and in such a cool patterned envelope, thank you! (How fun to learn that you are in IUOMA too) I bet you all have a fun Christmas--you definitely have a big gang! Have a very merry holiday :) --RJ
Response: Happy Holidays to you, too. I can't wait to see Kokopelli when he returns home!
Comment: Thanks for your postcard :). What you almost wrote as my last name is actually what it means in another language. I too have a thyroid problem and that’s the main reason I limit soy. I tend to use chickpeas as a staple :).
Response: LOL about the name! I love chickpeas! You're welcome for the card!
Comment: Thanks for this beautiful beginning to a zine. Your envie is gorgeous too! We have gotten my gardens and greenhouse buttoned down for the winter. The harvest is in. I made a bunch of pickles and relishes. We will try to go out to Amook until the weather makes us stay in Larsen Bay for the rest of the winter. Until today, temps have been in the high 40s. Now it is freezing. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: I'm so jealous! I live in a suburb. When I look out my windows, all I see are other houses. It sux. Your welcome for the zine. I think we've lost a zine somewhere, but I'm not sure whose it was.
Comment: 💛💛💛I am in tears, having just opened your swap. I have had such a rotten day and have felt myself sinking lower and lower into the mire of self-pity, so opening a box of kindness and generosity has touched me more than I can describe. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love your feather ATC, the colors are so lovely and the wispiness of the texture is spot on. Thank you so much for this mini alter, it's given me something to focus on while I slow my breathing and leave the stresses of today where they belong. Tomorrow I'll wake up and have a cup of tea to celebrate the new day. 💖
Comment: thank you for sending on going twinchie p.c.vey nice i will ssend it on in the naxt round, same here i,m a war weather person.its supposed to be spring but it seems to be gettin colder ..hugs from Tasmania
Response: We're going into Fall... too early, in my opinion! LOL!
Comment: Thank you for butterfly postcard. I have a milkweed plant I hope to set out in cooler weather so I can encourage monarchs to come to my garden. Well it is a small world...my sons are native Auburnites and we'll always have close ties to this town. In the late 90's they closed the maternity ward at the hospital, so unless you've come into the world before your parents can get down the hill to the next hospital, there will be no more Auburn natives!
Response: I was born in the old hospital. I think they tore that one down in the late 50s or early 60s. My son was born in 1974, so I think he was born in the "new" one. That's a shame they shut down the maternity ward! I wonder why?
Comment: If I could give you 10 5's plus hearts I would! You did an amazing job on this journal and I had so much fun reading it! I especially loved all of your artwork and how much you shared about yourself. I hope you remain cancer free and you are a true inspiration to everyone around you! Thank you again!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! You're welcome!
Comment: thank you ,your twinchie square was lovelyand the colors are great ,you are so right it will be a well travelled post card.elf lady who lives in Ulverstone is a friend of mine,we do a lot of craft together.hugs from Penguin. nannycat
Response: Cool! I was wondering if you two knew each other. :-)
Comment: Thank you so much for this envelope of AWESOMENESS! I love everything you sent! It will all go to great use in my journals and my scrapbooks! I am so excited to get to creating with these bits! I love the Wisdom card!! I also love the Tarot card too! Everything is just lovely!!!! Sending love and light your way always! xx Hugs and 10,000 hearts!!
Response: You're welcome. I tried to pick things you would like. I'm glad you enjoy them.
Comment: I like the tree and clouds you added. I'm not sure where to go from there.( I was surprised to see that it was your return address label on an envie not your style! Maybe I'll recycle it, too!)
Response: I occasionally recycle envelopes. It's better than seeing them go to waste! LOL! That postcard is a hard one. Maybe another bird or some plants??
Comment: Thank you for the interesting swap :) I like your thorough interpretation. Water is a big element for me, so having it show up in a card, even in the background, would make me "sit up and pay attention."
Response: You're welcome. Yes, the water in that card is unusual. Usually, swords is Air.
Comment: Going through my ratings and missing swaps and it looks like I didn't hit save for this one, I am so sorry! Thank you so much. My BOS is a glammed up 3 ring binder, so a 5x7 page fits excellently onto the pages. The rainbow foil was very cool, btw!
Response: My BoS is also a 3 ring binder. I use plastic page protectors in it. It's so much easier to add pages, isn't it? I love it.
Comment: Your card is so funny! These Burros look way more relaxed on that beach than ours look here in Texas lounging beside the creek. B is for Bodacious! Thanks
Response: The burros were in the desert (Aruba is a desert island). The beach was a seperate picture, as was the boat and birds. They have wild burros and wild goats, along with wild iguanas running around Aruba. It's so cool!!
Comment: Wow what agreat string card . I love thecolour and the way you have coloured it. Most of mine are black and white but I think I need to get into colour. Thanks so much for an inspirational piece of tangles. elflady
Comment: very cool, Prairie! Glad your life is going so well! Maybe if you start over with your tarot project, you'll find it doesn't take you as long to re-create it as it took the first time. It's up to you, though! thanks for the email!
Comment: I absolutely LOVE the background color and pattern (stenciling is a great idea), as well as your tangles on this one. I will have to do a bit of work in my sketchbook before I decide on the right things to add to it.
Response: I can't wait to see how that one turns out! Thanks for the compliment.
Comment: Thank you for the PC. I think I am going to do the triangle across from yours for fun! Hehe. I love how these turn out. :) Please let me know if you need more coloring PCs. I have lots! I would love to do a private swap with you. Coloring PCs for some of your fun doodles to put in my journal! I am saving your envelope doodles for my journals hehe.
Response: Sounds like fun! Let me work on some things and I'll get back to you. Thank you!
Comment: OMG this is amazing! WHAT pens did you use for the shading hearts and such? BEAUTIFUL and I love the zentangle bubbles you put around the edges. Super cool. I'm popping this on my I Like Board right now. Okay it's just below a daisy PC and above a TARDIS PC. Much more colorful than either! Thank you so much and for the intricate postcard to color. The back side, that you write on, has a super cool effect on it from having faced the colored side of the image, it's just very faint but you can see colors, but not smudge or in a pattern, just like a very faint shimmer of them. And I'm kind of excited because I just got a set of new gel pens and thought I could color this with them, but they're 08 and guess what? Too big! So now I get to (ahem, have to, ahem, not my fault, ahem) buy another whole set of thinner ones. OH DARN hahahaah winkwink.
Response: So glad you liked it! I actually did the picture, too. It's out of my Dimensions coloring book.
Comment: I love the theme of your zine! "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" is one of my all-time Beatles favorites. I earned the money to buy "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" soon after it went on sale by polishing my mom's entire antique silver tea set, including the big coffee pot. Whew! I still have the album and the slip cover it came in somewhere in my lifetime collection of Stuff. . . It looks like you really had fun composing this zine. Thanks, Ms. Early Bird 😄
Response: That song has always been one of my favorites, too. Back in my younger years (my goddess, has it really been almost 50 years??), I did a lot of psychedelics and I can so relate to this song!! LOL!!
Comment: I do understand why you wished to keep this one. But I am glad you still sent it to me! I like the watercolored background with the orange, gold and black. Thanks for the sweet tangle of T's. See ya at the mail box.
Response: I'm so glad you like it as much as I did! Enjoy!
Comment: Love your name! So original and unique. I loved reading your answers and getting to know you I am curious about letterboxing and what it is and I'm curious about aqua phonics and what is your dogs sound awesome and your Steve sounds awesome have a great daythank you for sharing have a nice one!
Response: Thank you! My dad named me after his sister and his mother. I'm happy you enjoyed this.
Comment: Thanks for the twinchie card and the letter. Hope you're wrist will be better soon. And off course the Netherlands is a great country to visit, you're welcome for a tour around my hometown if you ever decide to visit here :-)
Response: I would love that! Sigh... it's on my bucket list.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful bracelet! I was having a bad day so decided to open the package right away even though its meant to be a stocking stuffer ;) And thanks for sharing about your tattoos and their meanings!
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad my gift was able to brighten your day!
Comment: I love the fish postcard. :-) You did an awesome job. We used to raise African Cichlids...but that was many years ago. It was a fun hobby but a lot of work to keep them going. Now, I just have a few pups and play with paper. I still love photoshop. :-)
Response: I need to put my gold severum up for adoption. She lives alone in a 50 gallon tank because she keeps laying eggs and won't tolerate a tank mate. I'm glad you liked the card! :-)
Comment: Thanks for all the interesting "R" tangles. It's always fun to do something new. Thanks for challenging us! How's the snow? Did you panic and go get milk and bread? ;o) Rain in NC this week. Gotta get out the 'boat.' See ya at the mail box.
Response: LOL!! You're welcome. Next are S tangles. I'm looking forward to that one! Scallops is one of my favorite go-to tangles.
Comment: Thank you for sharing! I enjoyed reading about your celebrations, simple yet meaningful. I also really loved how your altar was decorated, and your Brigid's Bowl and Goddess doll - both very lovely!
Response: Thank you. It was a low key, but meaningful holiday.
Comment: I love your little bugs going down the vine. I'm going to add some to my sketchbook so I can remember to do something similar myself in the future. (You really have given me quite a challenge for my portion. I will do my best to make you proud. :-)
Response: Welcome to the Koi Pond! ROFL!!!! Love it!!! <3
Comment: I LOVE IT!!! I couldn't wait and I cheated, I had to open it after your messages. And it was totally worth cheating for lol!!!! My new Maneki Neko is now sitting on the book shelf facing our front door so he can greet all our guests and keep the negativity at bay. Thank you!
Response: You weren't supposed to peak! ROFL!!! Yeah, the original 'gift' was a smoky quartz crystal, but I think this cat fit much better!
Comment: Thank you so much... After reading your note I just had to peek. I burst in to tears.. I had to leave all my stones at home 4 states away and am going thru some hard times an am unsure if i will be aloud to return home
Response: Things have a way of finding their right place at the right time. I'm so sorry you are going through this! Blessed be!
Comment: i received the twinchie post card today thank you i really like theparadox allways looks interesting, it has been very hot here at the moment and its only January Feb is usually the hotest month ,get warm soon...... warmest regardes ....t Wendy
Response: Yeah, Paradox has always been one of my "go-to" tangles.
Comment: What a GORGEOUS zine!!! Wowzers! and I get to be the first to add to it :-) I hope I have a while to do it justice before I have to send it off in round 7. OMG and I almost forgot to mention your FANTASTIC envelope!!! I love the colors <3
Comment: Monster Stanley has had some really fun adventures! He is such a friendly guy, I can see why his company was requested for tea AND why he could not refuse! You made this an awesome swap! Thank you :D
Response: He makes a great travelling companion! So much fun!!
Comment: Thank you for joining; I apologize for letting ratings get away from me. October was full of prepping and celebrating. Thank you for all of the recipes you shared, the hair detangling is going to come in handy, my daughter's hair is finally growing and my son is growing his mop of a head out!
Response: You're welcome. I hope the recipes work out for you.
Comment: Thanks for this and I will pass it on! This envelope is so lovely, I am keeping it for my inspiration file! Every one, we talk to from up here, try to down play the things we are seeing. It makes my blood boil! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Yeah, me too. (Sorry about the rant, though). I'm glad you like the envelope. I never think anyone keeps any of the envelopes I send. It's good to hear that my efforts on envelopes aren't all wasted. :-)
Comment: This package was beautiful even before I opened it. Thank you for all the time you put into it. I love the pillow. I just need to get a form for it, and I found where I can do that. Also, my kitty thanks you for the glitter bat, which she confiscated, because she LOVES it.
Response: LOL! My cat does the same thing! I'm glad you like the pillow!
Comment: Thanks for this absolutely wild and crazy art challenge. Every bit of it shows your sense of humor and love of life! Thanks for painting out the P too! I'm so glad you had such fun with this one! It's inspiring! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: LOL! I'm so glad you liked it. I really had fun with this!! :-)
Comment: Thanks for these 2! gorgeous tiles! I know, sometimes mine turn out and sometimes they don't, but they are still fun! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry PS: I will complete and pass the other back to you! :)
Comment: Everything got a bit damp (we've had a ton and a half of rain and the hurricane is still days away), but none of the ink was water-soluble and it dried out okay. Some of the facing page got an impression from the colored pencils, but it erased cleanly - I don't always use fixative either. I'm glad you wrote to scratch & sniff on the stamp - that really does have a pleasant scent!
Response: Oh no! I'm so glad you were able to fix it! Aren't those scratch and sniff stamps cool? I love it!
Comment: OMG, I love so many of your boards! I've been a doodler forever but have just realized that I've been zentangling! I'm slightly intimidated and intriuged by the tutorials that show you how to create patterns, it's weird to learn to doodle better, but inspiring none the less. I also love love love doors and alternative houses and have similar boards. Thanks for sharing! Leslie
Comment: OMG Prairie Kittin I always know that when I see an envie from you it is going to make my day. The envie itself is such a reflection of the artist you are even BRFORE I open the envie!!! I loved the head dress. BUT for goodness sakes you continue to outdo yourself I have not yet seen a zenbutton that rivals this one. The shading is ridiculous Bravo. thank you and thank you for always having such great swaps for us - you do such an awesome job
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I never keep any of my own art, so it's nice to hear that the recipient likes it. Thank you for the compliment.
Comment: Thanks for the delightful postalette, and for running this swap. So much fun to receive and to read--my partner got a laugh from your TSA story, too (he works at the airport and hears all sorts of stories). Pretty pretty! ♥
Response: You should have seen the look on that guy's face!! ROFL!! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Comment: Hi..... fun fun fun fun.....love what you did think I shall incorporate some "clouds" in here somewhere in BLUE....not purple! Big hugs and love the envelope.... am making an envelope journal..... this will go in it.... BIG HUGS....
Response: An envelope journal! Why have I never thought of that? What a great idea!
Comment: The introduction to your familiars was wonderful. I loved each description and picture. My own house is quiet, but the catbirds and my special hawk from my brother keep me company. Thanks for this swap.
Response: You're welcome. I'm always up for an opportunity to talk about my family. :-)
Comment: Wow - wow - wow! Thanks for the stunning tangled card. The drawing on the front of the envelope was so nice that I trimmed it out to keep. :o) I haven't tried either of those teas before, which will be a nice treat.
Response: I'm so happy you liked the card ... and the envelope! Enjoy the tea!
Comment: Thanks for this gorgeous ATC! I love all the bling and the way you incorporated the 2 tangles in your design! Thanks too for the lovely decorated envie! A great bonus with all the tangles front and back! Love the sparkle! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: I'm glad you liked it! :-) Thank you for the compliment!
Comment: Oh, wow! The envelope you made is awesome. Your zentangles & shadowing are really great...some of it looks like 3D. Thanks for the nice goodies as well. It's always great having you as a partner. Happy day!
Comment: Thanks for this colorful tangled PC! This one was a challenge for me too. I had to do two before I was happy with the result! I ended up making them all supersized and flowing into on another, white ink on black cardstock, and incorporating other tangles into each. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: That sounds pretty! I'm glad you liked mine.
Comment: What beautiful flowers! We will see spring eventually-still have small snow piles on shady side of house-but there is hope-supposed to get to 70 today. Thanks for sharing your pink and green flowers-postcard and pretty envelope-Happy Spring!
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you liked the pictures of my flowers. Those are right outside my front door.
Comment: Wow what a beautiful and colourful zentangle piece created on the card by you my partner. I also love love the note and zentangled work embellished with gemstones. Excellent work. Warm regards elflady
Response: I'm glad you liked it! You're welcome! :-)
Response: Thanks. We forgot all the ritual tools, and the only appropriate things we could find in the 'picnic' basket were a banana and some milk. LOL! It's all about intent... and sometimes compromise. LOL! Hail Eris!
Comment: You deserve 100 hearts! What a joyful package to receive with all the symbols of flight and air. Thank you so much for hosting this and for being my partner. I am quite honored by all inside the package. What a lovely gift
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I was *really* hoping your air tool was the athame!
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful collection of items! When I get a BoS put together (been meaning to do that for 20-ish years) I'll put these in there. Absolutely lovely collection of Spring and Air items.
Response: I'm so glad you liked what I sent! Enjoy!
Comment: The ointments you made smell so nice :) I love the label too! Thank you <3 Hugs
Response: Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! Making scents for other people is so tricky! By the way, everything in that is completely food grade and safe. So, if you want to annoint your head, lips, and heart, it's okay if you lick your lips! LOL!
Comment: WOW ---Thank you for sharing your art with me. Not only did you make a lovely envelope, but the ATC and coaster were fantastic. I love zentangles, but I didn't get very good at it. Now, my failing vision makes for some pretty "odd" looking compositions. So, thank you so very much for sharing. A dozen hearts to you.
Response: Glad you liked it! Hope to see you in more AAAMA swaps!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Zentangle postcard (it far surpassed the term zenscrawl). I am getting quite a collection of Prairie Kittin art work. It's always a pleasure to have you for a partner.
Response: Thank you for the compliment. I'm glad you liked it!
Comment: Prairie your tangles are gorgeous as usual! I hope I see the return of my postcard someday. It only had 5 spaces so I thought I would have received it by now. LOL my first Tangle DECO swap book had 8 pages and took over a year to return to me. Keep the faith :-)
Response: Well, this is round 6. Sometimes, a person will keep a card an extra round or two, if their partner has already worked on it. Keep the faith. It'll show up eventually. :-)
Comment: I received your new twinchie today. I really hoped that my twinchy postcard for round 2 arrived earlier but now you have 2 beautifull cards to wait for them to come home again. I'm also not a Zentangle purist, I love to make ZIA's using real excisting tangles or tangleations like the spoken tangle you liked :) I'm going to make something beautifull of my twinchie on this card again. I see some new tangles for me on your twinchie I really like to try myself :)
Response: Thank you for the 5heart. I enjoy doing these a lot.
Comment: thank you for your letter, i gave the heart for the precious time you spent telling me about you, your feelings and experience. It s precious and I cheerish it. wish you a happy 2018 and you should look forward to smile more and watch the sky ..it s splendid :)
Response: Thanks for the compliment and the heart. You're welcome for the letter. :-)
Comment: Prairie, the 2 tiles you sent me are FAB! Both are drawn so well, and the one with the tangles other than beginning with E is colored beautifully! It's awesome the way you fitted 9 E-tangles on just one small card without it looking crowded! Thank you for sending such a nice swap :-)
Response: You're welcome! Thank you for joining this swap! I'll have the F tangle swap up right after the holidays.
Comment: Fun zine - thanks! The color & shading on your zentangle is great. Good luck with all your endeavors. (p.s. my mom always made black-eyed peas for new year's day when I was growing up. it was almost the only time we ate them though!)
Response: Thanks for the compliment! I like doing Zentangle. It relaxes me. :-)
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing! I got so many ideas from your Yule traditions...I wish I could have been part of your circle. I'm a practicing solitary, but only because I haven't found other like-minded individuals nearby. :(
Comment: Hi Prairie, This is such a beautiful swap! I will pass it on! I love the envie too! Hope you are doing fantastic! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: I'm glad you like it. I keep some blank envelopes, a pen or 2 or 3, and some various other things in a little box that my daughter and I call my "emergency art supplies". I decorate envelopes and work on postcards while in the doctor office or waiting at the DMV. It helps pass the time.
Comment: Wow, I feel spoiled rotten with all my new skulls bling!!! Thanks a bunch! I have already tried on the hat, played with the mechanical pin, and playfully menaced my cats with the door knocker.
Comment: Wow! This is a bright and colorful one! Have a cozy Oregon Thanksgiving, my sister is sneaking up to Portland to surprise the other sisters and niece/nephew for the holiday so the cooking here is on me this year! (I haven't cooked the past 3 yrs.) ♥
Response: How fun! Thank you for the heart and the rating! Can't wait to see the finished product when it's done!
Comment: OMG, old age is my only excuse for spacing on rating you when I received the Tangle & Pass PC from you. I've had it for several days and it only just occurred to me a few minutes ago that I need to rate A&P postcards. Your additions to the card are Beautiful, you are so good at shading!
Response: Thank you. I love to see all the different styles on these!
Comment: Well, I completely misunderstood this swap - it's a good thing I got yours before I did mine (I thought we were tangling the letter "A"). You have quite a nice hand at this - your lines are so fine and they don't wobble at all. The little sparkles on the Ahhs are a lovely touch. I like your work very much. ~~the envelope is nice as well!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! The B ATC will be up soon!
Comment: Thank you for the ATC's. The woman with the tub full of skulls is awesome! I collect skulls and owls. I think it's great you collect witches. I love all things Halloween. I will definitely use the bat as a background for a project. Thank you so much!
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you liked them! I love skulls, too! :-)
Comment: How awesomely cool and freaky!! I love the devil pictures, your letter and the photos of the fire! My son lives in Oregon (not too far from Medford) and he talks about the fires and how hard it is to breathe. I'm sorry you all have to live through this. =( Thank you so much for the very cool swap!! xo
Response: I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the heart. :-)
Comment: Postcard received. You just never know, 61 years young! You have plenty of time to come over ;)
Response: It's on my "Bucket List"... A few years ago, I almost died, and my daughter's question was, "Is it time to buy a ticket?" (It was her way of asking if I was giving up and not going back to chemo).
Comment: Your note was AMAZING! I laughed so hard and everyone I've shown it to has loved it! I pick my stuff up from a post office where my friend worked. She said her coworker read the card and laugh so hard she stopped making any sound. It was just flushed face and hand waving! Excellent work! If I could rate this above a five I would!
Response: I hate thieves. I'm glad they caught that guy! ROFLMAO!!!!
Comment: The book mark you made is absolutely gorgeous! And I'm sorry you haven't had many summery days :/ it's bin to hot here lately, I'm recovering from a really bad sunburn lol. And I wish I could see him trying to train the dogs to howl lol. I'm also very excited about the eclipse. I look forward to swapping again, thank you :)
Comment: What a fabulous tangled postcard and also envelope! So neat, I just love it! Trying those gems is still on my to do list. Did you made the extra paper by hand? Looks great! Thanks for this wonderful swap. Edit: The tea was perfect for a hot day, very fresh!
Response: The extra paper is handmade, but I didn't make it. I'm glad you liked the postcard. How was the tea?
Comment: I'm back on Swapbot after a while off and noticed that I've not rated you for this one. It was a long time ago and can't remember if I received it or not, but I believe that you would have sent it :)
Comment: OMG Thank you thank you! - you completely outdid yourself Prairie Kittin! I had a lot of fun doing through the box you sent. I love all of it! Some of it I have no clue what to do with it, but I'm sure I'll find something to incorporate them into. My creative juices are flowing! Now I think I'm going to have to get a stamp pad...want to try those stamps!
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I had a lot of fun putting that box together!
Comment: What an incredibly cool package of oddities! Thank you so much for the thought, effort, and love you put into this package..everything is truly amazing! I love the ATC, the gypsy stones are incredible, and the digital art is over the top! Seriously, you truly spoiled me....I can't even imagine how the lost one could have been any better! Thanks for such an awesome swap!
Response: You're welcome. I'm so glad you liked it.
Comment: Wow! What a nice surprise I recd today. You really out did yourself. Love the Tangle of your dog and his actual photo. And thanks for the pattern so I can tangle him too. Love the zentangle zine you sent, very professional. You can tell you really enjoy doing them. I hope you have a great day every day. bearnbabs
Response: Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the heart, too. :-)
Comment: We have to stop meeting like this PK...lol.
You may rid the 'being confused', as you did send to me, the WIYM group version of same tangle. Plus you sent me a Collaborative PC to send home to its owner. Hahaha...I love all that you do, your creativeness, your writing, decorative envies and swaps. The one in the corner you weren't sure about reminds me of a variation of Bales (circles as the extra addition). Correct me if I'm wrong... Thank you for all the awesome distinctive mail I receive from you. Hope all is going ok in your world, take care PK 😊â¤
Response: LOL! Gotcha. Things have been really upset at home lately. I'm surprised I'm even able to remember to put a stamp on the envelope! LOL!
Comment: What can I say...perfect as always! Love your colour version, it's beautiful. Funny enough, we both used a couple of the same Zentangle lol. Thank you so much PK 😊⤠(I did have to redo my tiles, as tangle 185 is different to that that was shown, all 😊)
Response: Oh my gosh! You're right! I had no idea I had the wrong string number! I'm so sorry about that! Thanks for letting me know!
Comment: Thank you for all the lovely images! Love that you keep a man too! ;P
Sorry about the late rating, my inbox has been so full of work mail lately I've hardly been able to keep up with anything else.
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you liked them.
Comment: Thanks for the super funny postcard 😂😋 I loved the San Diego Zoo when I went a couple years ago. I think the polar bears were my favorite if I had to choose. Have a great weekend, Nathan
Response: Cousin Bennie will be happy to hear you liked his card! LOL!!
Comment: Thanks for the earth day comment and image link. 😄 A challenge for me everyday to reduce waste...and teaching Chels to do so is an even bigger challenge. "Do as I do" type of thing makes it easier! 😄 Thanks again. Happy swapping!
Comment: Oh WOW it is wonderful. I know it will get used here and thank you so much for including herbal information. I am delighted to have you as a swap partner (both ways) and think you DO put a lot of magickal intention in everything you create. Again, Thank you so very much
Response: You're welcome. I don't sew. I made an exception this time for you, but normally, I would have glued that puppy together with fabric glue and dropped it in the mail! LOL!!
Comment: Thank you for sharing your swap with me. I recently found it in a tote bag in the closet. I'm no longer in the group but if u would like I can send it back to u after I color my section so that you can keep it in rotation in the group.
Response: Yes, please. That would be great! Thank you.
Comment: What a great Postcard you've sent!!! The list of words is endless, I though I would never be witnessing the current stage of your country!! Our solidarity is with you all and know we (outsiders) are watching and supporting you all. Keep the resistance! Hugs!
Response: Thank you. Every day I think it can't get any worse... and then I turn on the news and discover that it *is* worse. Join the Resisterhood!
Comment: Oh my goodness Prairie!!!! You deserve a zillion hearts!! I don't know what to say...you are sooo artistic and I know no other with your talent with Zentangles! This will be framed for me to see all the time!!!! I will have to make it up to you though. For some reason I was thinking ATC, I'm sorry ðŸ˜
I will be creating you another ok, because my ATC is on its way to you. Like I said, you deserve so many more hearts, thank you ever so much! 😊â¤ðŸ’œðŸ’›ðŸ’™ðŸ’šðŸ’–💖💖💖💖💖💖
Response: You're welcome! I'm so glad you liked it! An ATC is fine. You don't need to do any more than that. I didn't specify in the swap what size the shape was to be. :-)
Comment: Thank you for all you shared. I've been doing my spring housecleaning early, and I have found this to be very helpful. The recipe sounds delicious, and I can't wait to try it. I hope you're doing well, and having a wonderful weekend.
Response: You're welcome! I have a hard time getting organized myself. Sometimes I have to stop and make a plan to even know where to start! LOL!
Comment: How did you know that I needed a macaroni box? The amethyst is amazing ! I have a few but nothing this lovely. Thank you so much. Lynne
Response: Doesn't *everybody* need a macaroni box?? ;-) I'm glad you liked the amethyst. I was at the crystal store, and asked God/dess to show me the perfect stone for you, and that is the one that I kept going back to. I'm glad you like it.
Comment: Hi PK, thanks for a vibrant and very colorful flower crown. I particularly enjoyed the note, explaining the experience with your loved ones and friends. Lucky you. I can feel the love, and the birdy is an extra cute touch. Many hearts and hugs. Beltane, look out, here I come.
Response: You're welcome. That was a very fun day!
Comment: Hi Prairie..I love your covered envie, and that includes the Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix stamps! ALSO your Zentangle envelope itself, that I've opened up to colour...I presume it was created by you and in one of your books! You are so creative. Not to forget the extras too, thanks so much, cheers! 😊â¤
Comment: What a great image of the elephant taking a bath! And of course I love your doodles on the back! Thank you for all the goodies inside! BTW, the envie was marked postage due ($1.69) although I wasn't asked to pay it!
Response: Wow! I'm sorry about the postage. So glad you didn't have to pay for it!
Comment: Thanks for a fun swap. I particularly loved the recipes. I'll probably buy that tarot deck. I also loved what you wrote for wishes. Very nicely done...I guess I shouldn't mention the $1.05 postage due huh? Lol. Its all good. The swap was so good, it was worth it. P.S. thank Bell & Luna for their contribution. :-)
Response: Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I put on the amount of postage the post office said they wanted! I'll send you some stamps to cover it.
Comment: Thank you for the tangled shape! This is a new swap for me, and I hadn't thought of using a prepared design like you did. Very clever! Thank you for the extra, I LOVE coffee (any time of year!) and I will enjoy making my own tangle.
Comment: Thank You so much for the wonderful journal. I think Nov was a bit of a rollercoaster for everyone. You're writing is magical! Xoxoxo p.s of all my American friends not one voted Trump. The world sees your pain. Spread Love not hate 💕
Response: This was a hard month for me to write about. I don't know what I was thinking, choosing to do this in November! LOL! You're welcome.
Comment: Thanks so much for this AWESOME sugar skull envelope - you did such a great job drawing it! So fun to see coming through the letterbox :) Thank you also for the PCs and recipes you included for me, much appreciated.
Comment: The tags are so cool and I love the cute card!! Thank you! I can just picture your huge lap dog! Lol! Your cats sound sweet! Thank goodness for allergy meds so our cats can live indoors with us- although yesterday morning I got up and discovered they'd turned a roll of paper towels into kitchen confetti. I had to laugh; they had way too much fun! Lol
Response: That's too funny! I just found a bunch of toilet paper confetti on the bathroom floor the other day!
Comment: Hello Prairie Kittin,
Thank you for your sugar skulls. In France and in the Catholic parts of Germany, all souls' night is celebrated by leaving a paraffin wax candle in a red glass on the grave that will burn all night (the candle, not the grave). The first time I saw it, cycling innocently past a graveyard, I was really spooked by the eerie red lights winking at me. Now I find them very touching. Enjoy your memories on this special day, Prarie. Yours, Sonia
Response: I doubt the laws here would allow real candles, but maybe I can leave a battery operated candle on my mother's grave. What a great idea! Thank you!
Comment: Hi once again Prairie...I opened the envie and without actual initial look, I noticed two good lookin zentangles. Lol, it was you n me. 😂 Anyhow, thank you for your fab addition, as always, and you never know...it may go back to you! I even love the extra you did in your letter! Cheers! 😊â¤ï¸
Response: LOL! The luck of the draw on these things sometimes works out. I'm glad you liked it.
Comment: W O W! Dear Prairie Kittin, thank you so much for your actual mailbox sending. You made my day! Such a cute idea. It couldn't recieve more savely than this. :) I'm feeling so spoiled by all the goodies you've picked for me! Can't wait to use the wonderful tree stamp!
And I was told that the mailman was a bit overburdened with the sending. How to fit a mailbox into a (smaller) mailbox slot (and avoid ringing and going UP the stairs)?:D
Response: LOL! I'm glad you like it! It was fun to send that.
Comment: Awesome envelope and the fillings were even more impressive! Thank you so much for all the amazing goodies. I love your envelope drawing and am curious how you blended the colors. It looked like markers, due to the vibrant colors. Thank you!!
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I think the envelope was done with watercolors.
Comment: Before I opened it, i was staring at this envie wondering how the post office let it pass with the stamps and tape. Then I read your note. I love to re use! Finished and sending home. Merry Christmas! Lol
Response: You'd be amazed at what I've sent through the mail! LOL!! Thanks for sending the PC home. Merry christmas! LOL!!
Comment: I feel so lucky to have had you as a partner for this swap -- your artwork (as I know from previous swaps) is absolutely beautiful. I love my box and its contents. Thank you so much for joining the swap and for sending me such a lovely gift! It has pride of place on my desk.
Comment: Hi Kittin :-) I love your twinchie, it is gorgeous!! I've never tried to do any shading like that before, but you do it so well I feel inspired to try. So I will add my twinchie to your card and then I think I am supposed to hold it until the next round and mail it to the next partner I get. I started a new card this round also and have it ready to mail tomorrow to my partner for this round.
Response: I'm glad you liked it! Shading makes a big difference!
Comment: Hi Kittin! TY for the lovely card - you so much did not have to send extras though, silly you! Good for you on harvesting some goodies from the abandoned garden - I love sunflowers and keep meaning to try to grow them each year, sigh! It helps if you get the seed and plant it, all good thoughts that do not seem to happen! LOL! I so get everyone wanted to be under the AC, it is just too dang hot out! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: I'm glad we got the "card" thing figured out! LOL!! I'm glad you liked it, and the extras.
Comment: I loved the coloring book and the page you colored. But you forgot to color 2-3 :)
Response: There are only 28 pictures in that book, and since it is my own book, I decided to leave the rest of the pictures for everyone else to color. I usually do 2 in other people's books, but not in my own. I want to see what other people do in my book. :-)
Comment: Thank you so much for your letter (I don't mind typed letters at all.) I enjoyed learning about you, with a legal name like yours, I couldn't imagine the need for a magical one. I was raised Catholic as well, from Baptism to Confirmation, and I too liked the ceremony of it, but the actual religion just never felt fulfilling. I would love to see your tarot deck when you have completed it, what an ambitious undertaking! I am in the Mother phase (metaphorically and literally) and I'm very much looking forward to gracefully entering the Crone stage. Thanks for sharing the very human outlook on it.
Response: Thank you for the nice comment and the heart rating! I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. I hate writing about myself. I can never think of anything interesting to say! LOL!
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome pins! I especially love that pin of the crystal on the antlers. Just beautiful. I also really like the one with the architecture of the little round house. The recipes looks awesome too. I'm going to check them all out in more detail this weekend. I appreciate you putting this together for me! Blessed Lammas!
Comment: Dear Prarie Kittin,
Thank you for your postcard of a lady with a flower in her hair and the cool background of what I choose to interpret as chemical reactions. The masterboard was fun, wasn't it?
Response: You're welcome. It was fun making it. :-)
Comment: Thank you for the final round coloring book! Mandalas are fun. I look forward to it. Also, thanks for the extra coloring pages from your new coloring book!!! I love the designs and am so excited for you! Congrats! ~ Cari
Comment: Received the twinchie today Prairie, thank you. Also wanted to give a big thanks for hosting these swaps...I love them! Btw, I don't mind used envies. Hint:maybe put a blank sticker over any you have a problem covering...besides, it was purple hahaha 💜😊
Response: I reuse the envelopes a lot. I'm glad you liked it!
Comment: loved the way you added the atc to the card ...neat card...thanks for reading the profile...loved the theme of course ...I need to find out what that dimensional glue is...very nice...liked all the elements you used in this card...thanks so much for the laminated card as well...
Comment: Hi Katherine, Thanks so much for joining my swap and for sending your pictures all the way to Ukraine. I think 5x7 format is a great idea. Purse size. Another such swap in June if you're inclined. Here's link: http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/220635
Response: You're welcome. I might join June's swap, if I can get to it. Thanks!
Comment: So I have to tell you something awesome....not only did I receive this adorable kitten PC in my mailbox from you today, but I also received another PC that had two kitties on it!! A mailbox full of kitty love!!!!! 😻
Response: I love it when things like that happen! LOL!!
Comment: love this swap ! beautiful atc...but I am really happy with that note....I am still smiling...same thing happened to me once and I was wearing glitter for a few days...eyes hair everywhere...thank you for a very nice swap
Comment: This one really is beautiful. I don't really have favorite colors but do prefer darker jewel tones rather than pastels so this is right on. thank you so much for your creativity and the work you always put into it.
Response: I'm glad you like it. It's funny how it turned out to look like an underwater scene. I love how Zentangle just seems to have a mind of it's own! :-)
Comment: Thank you for the nice little note and the very cool deer postcard you sent (that'll be my next one)! This was the most challenging for me so far, and I very much enjoyed it as well as the rest of the series. Also, your handwriting is GORGEOUS.
Response: Thank you! These are fun. I'm glad you liked it.
Comment: Wow wow wow! This is spectacular! I'm going to frame it and hang it in my craft room. You have really upped the challenge on this one. I'm working on mine and will get it out to you in the next couple days. These are so much fun to do. Thanks for making this swap. Sorry it's just the two of us. The rest just don't know the fun they are missing!
Thanks so much!!
Response: I had a lot of fun making that. I loved yours, too! Great swap!! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: So awesome! I love the pocket letter you made for me!! I thought you must be an expert, so I was shocked to read that you're new to this?! I love how your letter described each pocket, I hope you don't mind if I "borrow" this technique. I adore your ATCs -you're right about the white and gray on blue, so lovely! (I know I'm over using the exclamation points, but I want you to know how much I really love your work!) love the mermaid, love the fairy, love the butterflies, love the Dr. Seuss, love the tea! Woo-hoo, such a lucky me!!! Wish I could give you about a hundred hearts!
Response: So, did you like it? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment: I got both postcards from you. Thanks, this was a fun swap.
Response: Yay!! Was yours the one with the music note on it? Because I was talking to the lady at the UPS store, and she said one of the drivers picked up my card and wrote a quick note and drew a music note on it, then dropped it in the mail.
Comment: First impressions - the envelope is GORGEOUS! So beautifully decorated! I love displaying envelopes on my wall so this will be a lovely addition =)
The recipe you sent sounds amazing and the rose quartz is so pretty! I can't wait to out the creme! I also loved the little recipe booklet you sent in addition to the card~ it was so crafty and I love the little tidbits of information! I'm planning on putting the recipe card right into my BOS.
Thanks for such a beautiful swap <3
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it. I had a lot of fun putting it together!
Comment: This was a beautiful piece of mail art, Kittin! It is so detailed and interesting, as well. I can't imagine the time and talent you put into this. THANK YOU so much! I will be sending mail art to Melvaton in a few days. :)
Response: Thank you!! I need to recarve the face. It's getting to be pretty worn out. I carved it out of pink stuff and it's weathered the years pretty well, but there are a few spots on the face and hair that have worn away.
Comment: Love them, daybook will be on the way, maybe today, fine a few that I had made when I first started making them, so that's good, came home for a few hours then back to Lexington today. Thanks for them, really cute.
Response: You're welcome. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: Thank you so much for the resend, Kittin! I don't know what happens to PCs in the mail, but even your resend looks like it went through the ringer! Ugh. Anyhow! I love the Ernie PC :). Don't you love swaps that you can use the items from for ever it seems? I received a spatula in a kitchen themed swap that I used yesterday (twice!) for scrambled eggs, then for a cake! It has a white handle and a red with white polka dots end. I use it all the time! Take care and happy swapping!
Response: Part of that is intentional. I made the postcard to look like it's already been mailed once. The black marks on the top were part of the card.
Comment: Dear Kittin - I apologise for the late rate, it has been a mad month! You might be delighted to know that your ATCs came along (with a handful of other received ZIA swaps) to my first ever Zentangle 101 class, and my students were wowed by them :) :) Yours stood out being completely leafy and green ;) Thank you for including a note with your ATCs - I will drop you a little PM soon! Have a great week! <3
Response: Wow. I'm honored! Thanks for letting me know!
Comment: such a fun package, and I did see your note on the back saying you were looking forward to Earth & Fire....mmmm....thinking
Response: I'm glad you liked the package. I was going to add some unpopped bubble wrap to the package (for the air inside the 'bubbles')... but apparently the grandkids got to the bubble wrap. There was no "unpopped" pieces! ROFL!!
Comment: what a treat to get such a thoughtful package. I thought it was a perfect package just when I needed a new book to read. HAH! The Goddess is good. Its a book to write in and I need to do that. Thank you for everything!
Response: Check the first few pages. I think you may have gotten one of the autographed ones. :-)
Comment: your inchies were spot on awesome!!! dont ever disparage your inchies again! lol. loved the slides, so weird to see these againa and with other peoples images on it. btw the glue doesn't come off. i can fix the one that had a problem. just dont want you to use it that way again. LOVED your inchies!! thanks for the extras!
Response: Oh my gosh! The glue was supposed to be temporary! Would you like me to send you another one? I bought the slides at a used art supply store. I have no idea who the people in the pictures are! LOL! I did like the surfer guy, though. :-)
Comment: Excellent and very fun mail art. I absolutely adore the steampunk customized stationery you made for me and can't wait to use it! And it is a small world, isn't it? Thanks for such a terrific swap.
Response: I'm glad you liked it. It was fun to make.
Comment: LOVED your answers! Your last answer made me smile ;D and I was infact talking about food from India. And you call native americans also indians because Columbus thought he was in India, when he first landed there. But it is bizarre that they are still called like that. ^^
Comment: Many thanks for your lovely ATCs! It's so inspirational to see tangles by other artists. Especially coloured ones are great, I'm not good at that. And thanks for coordinating this swap, it was fun! PS. Sorry for late rating, been having difficulties with internet connections at home.
Comment: Thank you for a very fun and creative swap! I loved the variety of things you sent, and the hot pocket was just adorable. I also loved the charms and the handmade artwork and envelopes. You did a great job and I thank you for the effort and heart behind this swap. Best wishes. :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it all. It was really fun to put this one together! (The hot pad is to put on the counter to set hot pots and pans on).
Comment: It is a little odd. The post card you sent me is the same one I sent you in round 2. Guess I will just hold onto it and send it to the next person. The originator would probably prefer to wait a round than have two sections completed by me.
Response: Strange how the luck of the draw goes sometimes, isn't it? :-)
Comment: Heather's journal arrived today Mae. I can't wait to get started. I also can't believe how much we have in common! I almost never find people who have read Crystal Singer much less read the cover off!! Thank you so much for the extras. My journal is headed your way soon.
Response: Looking forward to yours. I have a few "Favorite Things" in mind to do! 4/6/15: I got yours today. I put your address on the front page so people know where to send it back to.
Comment: Beautiful work as always! Love it, Victorian "Trinkets!" I like the way you put the tangle names inside the envelope. Great idea. Thank you for the goodies especially the skull from a book ? and the postcard with bees! Lol. I'm sure you have been told this many times but I'm voicing it again; your handwriting is so nice. <3's to you! P.S. Is that a stamp or did you draw the fairy on front? Adorbs!
Response: I hand carved that fairy stamp for a letterbox postal ring a while back.
I'm glad you liked the envelope. It was fun to make!
Comment: Mae, thank you for the awesome package for pick 3. You really looked at my profile and sent so many special items. I am saving every bit of mail art to send along to others or to recycle in my future art or to save and display in my mail art album.Happy First Day of Spring.
Response: I'm glad you liked it. March 20th is my grandson's birthday, so that day is always special to us, too. Happy Spring!
Comment: HI Kittin, Thanks for joining my swap! What a wonderful envelope you sent it in. I really enjoyed looking at this great art work and will save the envelope!! Thanks for the postcard, I look forward to creating on it for you! :)
Comment: Amazing work. You had a heart from the envelope. Love the tangle that looks like a bamboo shoot on fire. what's the name of that one? Love the tiger. Love the tangles you did. What an interesting perspective to see it done in three ways. Thank you so much.
Response: I'm not sure which tangle you mean. Maybe Bambooz? Check out the Tangle Speak site. http://www.tanglespeak.com/ Bambooz came from their deck.
Comment: Got your lovely post card today, good it is laminated found,it in the snow under the mail box! I have no idea what my mail person is on. This has been a great swap hoping to get my book back soon. Let me know when we will start again. Lynne
Response: I'm glad you got the card. I usually laminate all my cards because who knows what they will go through before they get to their owners! LOL!
Comment: I absolutely LOVED the journal page and the BEAUTIFUL envelope! Thank you so much for sharing the great journal page. I may copy you idea of having it open like a door. Thanks again for sharing your art and the inspiration! ;)
Comment: Such a sweet gift. I'm sad because the amulet broke in the mail but I managed to catch most of the beads before the cats got them and I restrung it as best I could. Thank you for such thoughtfulness!
Response: It broke??? Oh, I'm so sorry!! Would you like me to make another one?
Comment: Holy cannoli what an amazing package you sent to my best friend! She was floored and she loved every single smidge of it! Thank you so much for your kind and sweet spirit, and for making my best friends day! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Response: You're welcome! I was hoping she would like it. :-)
Comment: Hi Kittin! Thank you so much for not one, but TWO lovely ATC's to add to my collection! Like you, I'm not a fan of orange, but your ATC's turned out beautifully despite their orange-ness ;+) All colors are beautiful, really, though, and your art is amazing.
Comment: Thank you for your lovely journal page and for hosting this series. Your page and note are the prettiest that I've received through this series, so far :) Have a great weekend (it's Friday here already)!
Comment: omg I am in love I want to visit an go to this pub! i would also love to do artwork for this bar!!! thank you for the extras also! what a great swap partner you are love every little thing you sent : )
Response: They have a chain in Oregon and Washington. I absolutely LOVE this place! Maybe you and I could put together a portfolio and go work for them as artists!! LOL!
Comment: Hello Kittin! I received your sweet snail mail today! Your drawing skills are amazing. I love the snails on the envelope AND thank you as well for the neat enclosures. LOVE the snail coaster and then those elephants getting a shower! Just plain NEAT. Thanks for joining and making this a fun swap to receive.
Response: You're welcome. I had to go to McMenamin's and specifically ask for that coaster. Since that is my favorite pub in the world, it wasn't too much of a hardship. ROFL!!!!!!
Comment: What a lovely drawing! I wish I could keep it! hee hee. ;) Really, it's beautiful. Thank you for the lovely little gifties, which I *can* keep! :D I'm so glad you are on this site and were my partner for this swap. :)
Response: I'm so glad you liked the little extras. We have the same tastes in a lot of things, so I just chose what I would like! LOL!!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful journal page! I love the ocean, it is so magical to me, so the quote and image are just perfect for me. Right now, I have it displayed on my shelf as it is too pretty not to share. --Elisabeth
Comment: I did Australia (of course, laugh out loud) and Belgium too. Yours are fabulous and loved your passport at the front.
Response: It's funny how I ended up choosing Belgium. I found the rubber stamp at an art thrift store. I had no idea what a Belgian Tervuren was. I bought the stamp thinking I could use it. After I got the stamp home, I discovered the Tervuren is a dog! And, so very much like my own dog, that I figured it was "fate". I just had to do Belgium then! LOL!!!
Comment: Another fab card to add to my collection. Love the "Lazor Disco" made on May Day! <3 I wonder if we could ever find glow-in-the-dark pens? There's paint and embroidery floss. It could happen. LOL!
Response: Wouldn't that card be cool as glow in the dark?? Hmm.... Have you been to Blick downtown?
Comment: You are really good at zentangles! Loved both the black and white and colour! Thank you! Your profile looked familiar to me and so I scrolled down and remembered I also rated you for 'Zentangle envie' swap not long ago!
Response: I'm glad you liked them. I might do another swap soon with another string. This one was fun!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful domino books! I'm just finishing mine off and will get it into the post tomorrow. And thank you, Mae, for the lovely crocheted flowers. I've hung them on my computer and they make my office look really special!
Response: You're welcome. And, thank YOU for putting a smile on my mother's face just now. :-)
Comment: Great tangle! I love the book Mae created for me. Please tell her I will treasure it. It's sitting by my computer so I can pick it up any time to look in it. Thanks for hosting this tangle swap. See ya at the mail box.
Response: I'm glad you like it. I'll tell Mother you liked her little book, too!
Comment: Wow, that was fast, and such a mail-worthy notebook! It is so beautiful!! I love the collaged stamps and fibrous texture of the layers. I almost felt bad opening it ... until I found the awesome mini-book by Mae, aged 90 -- put a smile on my face and a gulp in my throat. Thanks for making a bad day brighter :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I was hoping it would make it there in one piece! And, I'll tell Mother you liked her little book. She'll appreciate that.
Comment: What beautiful little booklets, Mae! They are so cute--and you sent such nice "extras" as well although I only rate on the swap item(s) and not on extras. I will put them to good use however. Thanks!
Response: The extras were just for fun. I didn't expect to be rated on that! I'm glad you liked the domino books. They were so much fun to make!! :-)
Comment: Awwwww you did not have to make me another one.... it really gave me a smile today. You make the best lings and dooleedos! I am so happy to ha e this card in my collection. Thank you so so much :-)
Comment: Ty you for te ATC. you hand carved that stamper?? Wow that had to be hard. Your lines are so straight looking.. I always wanted to learn how to do it but know its useless with my arthritis..
I GOT ANOTHER ONE FROM YOU!! tHANK YOU SO MUCH. i LOVE THE OTHER 3 YOU STAMPED ON THE LETTER! How long did it take you to make the stampers?
Response: I carved an entire set of the original Care Bears. But, Grumpy has always been my favorite.
Comment: I love the envie and the ATC! It's my first ATC someone has sent me, I've never made one before and wasn't sure what size they should be so I was really happy to receive it! Now I have an idea what they are :) have a great day!
Comment: Hello neighbor! What a fun decorated envie you sent, with goodies inside too. It sure puts a smile on my face. And, please thank your Mother, Mae, for the altered playing card. It is very cheerful.
Response: I'm glad you liked it. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: LOVED your beautiful envelope!! You are very artistic indeed. Your Mom's mail was delightful to receive as well...I plan on sending her a little something in the mail this week. A great swap...thanks!!
Response: I'm glad you liked the one I made. Making the other one really made Mother's day!
Comment: Hi PK - Thank you for your beautiful work(s) of art! The page you did for your daughter's birthday is so cool. All the colours made my mail day much brighter, too. I really enjoyed what you sent - thanks for all your effort!
Response: Glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun making it!
Comment: Thank you so much it made it all in tact! Yes even the wand. How thoughtful, i love the moon goddess photo it was such a personal gifting, blessings to you! X
Response: I'm so happy to hear it made it okay!!! I was so afraid they would confiscate the little wand! LOL! I'm glad you like the Moon Goddess. I had a lot of fun creating Her. I don't get a chance to swap my digital art very often.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Halloween card. I love what you did with the Steampunk Spells paper. And thank Mae for the fun atc. I hope you both have a Happy Halloween. And thank you for joining the swap.
Comment: WHAT A LOVELY PACKAGE! Thank you so much! These are all so beautiful and you sent me such lovely things and so many! Oh thank you thank you. I've never seen a Shiva Eye either and it really does look like an eye! And how interesting that you saw zodiac symbols when you picked the heart up... when I turned it over i I saw a bunch of "C"s and a very clear "C A" which are my initials! This swap was very special and I thank you again! Hugs and hearts to you! <3
Response: I knew there was a reason that heart was supposed to go to you! "Something" was shouting at me to include it, even though I was hesitant because it was a carved shape. I'm so glad it worked out!
Comment: Im smittin for PrairieKittin!!! Hunny, You get MY heart just cuz uR my second swap EVER but Mmmm when I opened the box and I caught a glimpse of something shiny behind all the bills ....excitement. It was like I was reading braille; I touched every part of the envelope which was gorgeous!!! You get MY heart. ...THANK YOU, KiT. And just think I havent even opened it yet. LOL. I want to savor the phun. Im sending you a pic of uR envelope which you will get a kick out of. :) KiT
Response: I'm glad you liked it. That was a lot of fun. I wanted to do something different. I kinda took a chance with it, and it turned out okay. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Wow -- you did have fun. Thank you for the THREE tiles plus a decorated envelope. All are gorgeous. You picked some cool patterns and, as expected, your line work is exceptional! I was so lucky to have you as my partner. <3<3<3<3<3
Comment: Thank you, I LOVE my, not one, but two matchboxes! And that they were sent in a tin through the mail. You are very creative! Thank you for sharing your art with me and for a great swap! <3's to you!
Response: You're welcome! Thank you for the heart! I'm glad you liked them. I thought the ouija board tin was especially appropriate for hallowe'en dolls. :-)
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful shrine. I think you did a fine job on it. I love that you chose Butterfly Maiden as she was my B Goddess card choice and is my second favorite Goddess. She is the one that shows herself in my time of need. Great Job! Thanks
I will be back after I take a bit of time away to chill.
Response: It didn't turn out like I had envisioned it. I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much! I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day and I hope Ms. Mae has a wonderful one too!! :) Oh my gosh! UPDATE 5/10/12: I guess I was kind of confused...I thought the postcard photo was the swap. I received a card today with Ms. Mae's wonderful sticker cards. I love them! Thanks so much. Have a wonderful Mother's Day!
Response: The postcard was the swap. But, then I saw that card and had to send it to you. I thought you would appreciate the humor. So, actually, the card was just an extra. Or maybe the postcard was? I don't know. Anyway, happy Mother's Day!! ;-)

Comment: Hey Prairie Kittin!
That was funny - I imagine our carrier did a double take after reading that! haha!
"He loved the dog food!" hahaha!
I also liked it that it went along with the front of the card! hahaha! That was a good one!
Response: That'll teach him to complain about my cooking! LOL!!! Hmm..... I bet if you saute'ed the dog food with onions and a little garlic, then serve on a bed of rice...... ;-)
Comment: Wow! I wish I could give you more then just one heart! Thank you so very much, I loved all the journal pages & there were so many of them! Also, please tell Mae I said thank you for her wonderful cards! I adored them. My favorite one was of the frog...when I was pregnant with my 1st son I used to dream of frogs often & anytime I saw something to do with frogs I automatically thought of him. So, thank you Mae! I feel honored to have received your artwork!
Response: I'll read this to her. She'll be delighted that you liked them. I'm happy you liked the pages, too. They were really fun to make! :-)

Comment: OH. MY. GOODNESS. That was far and away the most beautiful piece of mail or art anyone has ever given me! I cannot thank you enough. You are stupendously talented! I was so amazed to get something from a real artist. I absolutely adore it, and the big stamp was also really cool. The build your own troll is AWESOME and soooo creative. The little book of digital art is gorgeous! Everything was right up my alley. Thank you soooo much! :-D

Comment: I recieved your cards today and knew that I had to rate you right away. I wanted to thank you both for the beautiful cards that you sent I love them very much. If I could give you more than one heart I would. Also, if I had a choice I would have my kitchen outdoors with Nature. Again, thank you so much.
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed them. We spent some quality time together creating them! :-)
Comment: Oh, wow, I love what you've sent me! These are my very first rolos for the rolodex file I found at Goodwill for three bucks. I love making ATCs, but have found that the horizontal shape of the rolos makes me think about my art in a different way. I love what you made for me... Dia de la Muertos art is the most favorite thing I "collect!" And the very, very cool Queen of hearts......wish I could give you two hearts.... thank you so much Prairie Kittin!
Response: These were the first rolos I made. I was hoping you would like it. :-)
Comment: Hi! Thanks for the nice comment - yes, I can see how spending much time with an eight year old might make one realize they are not as young as they once were! LOL! How tough to have your daughters so scattered - yikes! I worry it will be that way with my boys and just hope they wind up fun places to visit! LOL! I have done a few zentangles in my time but am not very good at it - need to practice more but am not very patient with myself! Hope we are partners again at some point! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: I saw this on google the other day when I typed in Angel Fish to look up the directions. It looked like something that belonged in this swap, especially because of the 1/2 in side. I loved it when I saw it and I love it even more in person. Thank you very much for a great Monotangle!!
Response: I have always had trouble with Angel Fish. I'm so glad you liked it. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely ATCs! I just love them. The Music is the Language of Love ATC I saw on Flickr and thought "Wow! What a lovely ATC!" How lucky am I to have been the partner to get it! I just love the others ones too! Wish I could give you more then 1 heart seeing as you sent me more then 1 wonderful ATC! <3 <3
Response: Thank you!! I'm glad you got the one you wanted, too! :-)
