Comment: I don't want to rate a 1, but I didn't get anything and you haven't logged into SB since before partners were assigned. I sent a message checking up - no response. Hopefully you are OK! Of course I'll change the rating if I get something.
Response: Please see message sent. I did not send this swap because of life issues. 5yrs later I am trying to make it up - message sent asking for current address.
Comment: Swap was due June 6, sent on June 9. There was no prior communication that it would be late, even though you logged on to SB on the 2nd. The swap met requirements in all other regards and would have earned a 5 had it been sent on time. I appreciate that you followed through with sending it. Sender: Martha Opie Hansen.
Comment: Howdy again! I Love the selection you chose - and - super thanks for the extra - Star Wars pc - My sons will especially love that. Love how you decorated the envie with the cute washi, too. Thanks again for a fab swap :-) Happy day to you .
Comment: Hello Martha - the cat with green eyes is very pretty - looks like my Muffin kitty (although she has yellow eyes!). Thank you for the card and I hope you have a wonderful day with your cats! =^,,^=
Comment: Oh my lord!!! I don't know what to say- thank you so so much for the magnets of my furbabies!! I have them proudly displayed on my fridge; I'm SO flattered that you waited to be assigned me again to send them to me :D I will be sure to make your postcard extra special and pass it on :)
Comment: Martha, holy cow! I cannot get over the amazing swap you sent me. Thank you so SO much for the free Dutch Bros coffee card, the ticket, burger coupon AND the pressed Oregon Zoo penny!! My sister and I were talking about going to the zoo just to get a set haha. I also loved your letter about Portland and how much its changed, my father spent his early 20s doing the downtown thing and has always told me how much its changed from what you guys knew to the city scene I now love so much, haha. BIG thank you again ♥♥
Comment: loved the visual...third house in astrology is all about communications, and learning that you live in a quiet neighborhood might speak to me about what you enjoy from the softer sounds around you.
Comment: Martha, thank you for the beach postcard from Oregon. I know I was used to very cold water when I lived in New England. The first time I put my foot in the NC beach, it was a bit of a shock. It is as warm as the bath tub. Shirley
Comment: Thanks for sharing E.T. with me! I remember watching it for the first time when I was younger and was freaked out during certain parts. The part where Drew Barrymore and E.T. meet always made me jump! Lol! I should see if my 13 yo son would be willing to watch it with me.
Comment: Stunning card, the city landscape against the mountain is amazing. I live at the foot or mountains with the 4th largest river at the bottom of the garden which flows to the sea about 30min away :)
Comment: Dear Martha, thank you for my envelope, loved the foreign stamps, the Dahlia pc is great (it was my mom's favorite flower), the stickers, the tags and the glitter ribbon are awesome (great for my atc's) Thank you so very much. Many blessings to you.
Comment: Thank you for the Precious Moments PC. It's so....precious. When we were on vacation a couple of years ago we got to tour the home and property of the man who created P.M. It was beautiful; so peaceful and calming and there were these little darlings everywhere- From figurines to life sized statues.
Comment: Thank you for the stamps! There were many I had never seen before! I really love the bookmark! I have been saving some special stamps I want to use to make into a bookmark for my daughter, but wasn't sure how to go about it. This gives me some good ideas! Do you have a laminating machine?
Comment: Hi Martha! You said in your note that you hope I liked the cards . . . not only do I like them, I LOVE them!! They're just so neat! I'm crazy for the cat, that beautiful bird, and I've NEVER seen a "Fun Facts" card . . . just plain wonderful! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for all the lovely ribbon, and I the bookmark! I think I might make some of those for Christmas gifts this year, or next. I usually make a box filled with random hand made goodies for friends and family, and this fits perfectly into that =)
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful washi tape envelope, letter and washi samples. I have never seen any of the washi tapes you used or sent along. I will look into cozy mystery books. I recommend you giving Pomegranate White Tea a shot. It is my all-time favorite tea to drink. Thanks again. :)
Comment: Martha...Thanks for the humorous PC...brought a smile. I have learned a lot about postage and shipping since joining swap-bot. I was so addicted at first and loved getting mail from other countries but I soon had to put the brakes on shipping internationally due to packages coming up missing and having to resend and the risk of low ratings. I know many swappers in OR...have you met any other swappers in person? Happy Spring...Charlene
Comment: I love the bookmark! Thank you! I got them Saturday, and I worked today. My job is literally next to the University of Delaware, newark is a huge college town and today we were busy. First really warm day of the year so everyone was out. Once I got off work I abandoned these next to our menus (everyone sees them) I work at a restaurant called CaliforniaTortilla it's very popular. I bet they are already gone!
Comment: I loved all that you put into your would you rather swap! It was so fun reading what you wrote :) we had some similar answers and I think on the hairline vs. brown teeth I also said, "Brown teeth, no thank you!" Haha! Well welcome to Swapbot, I just joined a few months ago & I love it. It brightens up your day a little bit. Thanks again :)
Comment: Martha, thank you for the book. I find I pick up books about celebrities and read them. My favorite place is the dollar Store also. How can you go wrong for a dollar? Also, thank you for the bookmark you made and for the tea. When it gets warmer, I will be reading your book with the high teas you sent me. I don't think Spring is ever going to come. Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the sweet Easter card and little trinkets. Lucky paper stars are origami like origami cranes. I make them to help calm me down when I feel my anxiety acting up. I put a photo of the stars I have made on my profile if you want a look at them.
Response: You are welcome - I am glad you enjoyed it. I will have to check of the pick on your profile - they sound neat
Comment: Oh my gosh I totally guessed Belle because of the bell and the bow. But the Beast does make more sense because of the Rose! I'm glad I guessed in the right movie atleast. :) The buttons are so pretty! I'm definitly going to find a project to work them into. :) Thank you so much!
Comment: Great images - I like the 'Transportation' pix a lot !
Response: It took a lot to get the pic - the mess ups are funny. The rider had to drive up to my daughter and stop quick to do a wheelie - Many times my daughter didn't think he would stop and the looks on her face are priceless. I am glad you enjoyed!
Comment: Thank you for your wonderful comment and compliments regarding my profile =D. I live in Toronto so the areas you visited are very far away from me. But I have traveled out west and also been to the places you have been to. I remember in the Garden there was a large lucky pig to rub. We took a train from Vancouver to Calgary. It was beautiful going through the mountains all the way. It was so nice meeting you =D
