Comment: Fantastic random items. It is wonderful that you have found a way to communicate with your deaf neighbor. I have had surgery on both ears now so I have cochlear implants that helps so much. I used to watch the original Wonder Woman on TV with Lynda Carter. Loved the new movie as well.

Comment: Gigi, I loved the cards you sent, especially the Bee's Knees! I also loved your letter you wrote. I've been to Lebanon and its nice up there. Northern Arkansas is beautiful also. Lots of trees and mountains.I have never been to Oregon but have family that live there. I'm actually from southern California. I love the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico but I know what you mean about water. Lots of streams in the woods here.We also have been tiny gardening and planning on adding a few things each year. I'm pretty sure you will love it here. Also land is so much more affordable in Arkansas than other places. I would love to hear what you decide. Hopefully we can swap again!

The postcard of El Capitan is a nice surprise: I was just watching a documentary about Yosemite the other day. I'm not sure how you could BEAR to send this post without colouring in the bow: what colour do you imagine it should be? Turquoise with yellow spots? Every year I send Chanukah cards out to my Jewish friends but I understand that they don't send me one because of not being Jewish. I decided to learn about the Festival of Lights and the lighting of the candles. I want to purchase a Menorah to light myself. I purchased a book "Eight Tales for Eight Nights - Stories for Chanukah" by Peninnah Schram and Steven M. Rosman. I just discovered a unique lighting of an Advent Calendar candle that is practice in Europe. I couldn't believe I found the candle that I light on each day and when the light has burned down to the next day you blow it out. I have blessings and poetry that I will read when lighting that candle. Thank you so much for being my partner. Thank you for the cards you enclosed.
