Response: Glad you like them!
Response: Gelli prints are still such a struggle for me but I'm glad you talked me into getting a plate because every now and then, a few turn out just right. So happy this round went your direction!
Response: I love lighthouses too. They are such awesome structures. The bristol watercolor rechnique worked well to highlight the image and I'm thrilled you like it!
Response: Thanks! Zentangles are a stretch for me but I felt compelled to see what I could do after reading your profile. I enjoy card makng - I find it relaxing and it was my pleasure to make one for you.
Response: You are welcome - It was my pleasure!
Response: Always fun to create ATC's for you. Thanks for always giving me that encouragement to try new techniques!
Response: Thanks! Always great to swap with you too!!
Response: I am still struggling a bit with color combinations and not overworking my gelli prints. I had pretty good success with several of the prints I did while making your cards. The Outer Banks prints seemed perfect to use with the one quote as some of my happiest memories have been created there. Thanks for your encouragement!
Response: Glad your magnet made it to you okay. I didn't have a padded box envelope so I made my own. This was a fun challenge and I may have to try it again sometime. Thanks for the prompt rating!
Response: Hey Angie - Sorry for the delayed response. I am glad you liked your Atc and envie. I have not found much time for my artistic outlet lately but when I get the chance, I have greatly enjoyed the projects with multiple steps and mediums.
Response: You are most welcome. A beach themed ATC was a nice escape from the view of white and gray I see when I look out my window right now. Thanks for hosting!
Response: I have you to thank for the cheesecloth texturing. It is one of my favorites - right up there with punchella! It had been awhile since swapping so it was great to jump back in with this Gelli rolled ATC.
Response: Planned date nights sound great and your valentine plans sound perfect. We are declaring a pj, junk food and no telephone or Internet day. I can't wait. Thanks for the rating - hope you have an artful 2015!
Response: You are most welcome. It had been awhile since joining an Inchie swap. I had forgotten how much fun they could be!
Response: So glad you like them. I had fun mixing my mediums for the turtle. It was favorite too!
Response: You are welcome. The mix of colors turned out well and just shouted spring. I too fell in love with that die - coneflowers and daisies are my favorite. The textured cardboard has worked out very well on my plate - hope you have as much luck with yours!
Response: Happy Easter! Glad you enjoyed the card, stamps and bag of bunnies. Thanks for the rating!
Response: You are most welcome. Colors have been a bit of a problem for me while printing but I thought this combination popped. I have found that using both an art quality acrylic and craft paint mixed together with the brayer on the plate actually works better for me, leaving a perfect workable consistency - not too thin nor to think. Thanks again for the rating.
Response: Yeah - I am so glad you like it. Cheesecloth is becoming one of my favorite prints! Thanks for the rating!!
Response: You are quite welcome!
Response: I agree - black and white can be elegant. It was a fun challenge. I couldn't resist sharing a photo and after reading your profile, I had to send you some specialty papers from my stash to yours.
Response: Have fun at your stamp show. There are so many fun stamps out there and not enough time to stamp them all up. I am happy my mermaid is a first for you. She works up nicely in a variety of mediums so enjoy! Who knows we might be in a card swap some day and I might get lucky enough to see what you do with her!
Response: The colors worked well together. The envelope and ATC back were done with two tissue paper prints. I am enjoying working with those prints. If you take a close at your card, the square panels were used with the same technique but I added some clear embossing powder to add raised texture. The butterflies were cut paper I worked up with alcohol ink. I wanted to use glossy paper and of course, we can't use coated papers on our plate. The floral addition is a rub on - they are my favorite and I am dividing it I into as many projects as I can. I am not sure we will see spring - can't believe it is back to snow for us. My poor budding trees are going to go into shock. Thanks for your critique, rating and heart! :)
Response: Yeah - it did finally make it! I loved those little stickers too so I was hoping they might be a hit. Both my Mom and my Aunt crochet those little angels. You can starch her to make her skirt rounded and still if you like. I prefer mine soft and flat. Thanks for the rating!
Response: It was a lot of fun collaging some of my prints - I'm pleased you like the results of my experimentation! I enjoyed making that envie too - I like playing with fun ways to present my ATCs and Inchies!
Response: Yeah, that was the pattern that kept jumping out, speaking to me - now I know why! :). I was delighted after several failed attempts to find a permanent material to cut my stencils from. I'm delighted you are happy with it!
Response: You are welcome - so glad you liked the card and goodies tucked within. Congratulations again on that new little bundle of love!
Response: You are welcome. I enjoyed using the pearlescent paint!
Response: You are welcome - glad you liked both the ATC and the little enclosure!
Response: I am so glad you like it. After reading your profile I just HAD to use that new stamp set. I purchased it online at Unity Stamp Company. They often mark down their stamps for 50% off. I will stamp you up some images and get them out to you next week. Then you can wait for their next sale before ordering!
Response: YES - I am thrilled to learn about gelli plates. It is so much fun and I think the possibilities are endless. I am glad you liked your card and can use the stencil!
Response: It is amazing what a "hardship" it is when we have computer woes. I am glad you enjoyed my holiday photos. Thanks for joining my swap!
Response: You are quite welcome!
Response: I purposely chose a unique folder hoping you didn't have it. I wanted to send something very "new to you" so looks like I chose wisely. I was going for a jungle look and those colors seemed to pop out the ferns. I agree you can't beat dragonflies and purple! :)
Response: Susie, not on Facebook but happy to have a new friend who is a fellow card maker. I do enjoy coming up with new ideas and bounce clear across the board with styles I love. You too have a Happy New Year with lots of time for crafty good fun!
Response: You are most welcome for the card. Those little details were the fun part. I love putting all these mediums to good use - so much fun goop and not nearly enough time to play with all of it. Hopefully 2014 will lend us to more of those moments!
Response: I almost didn't send that photo but it kept drawing me back to it. They are so brilliant in color and marking. Luckily they all live outside or I might not find them so pretty - LOL! I witnessed the northern lights about 15 years ago in my yard and they were amazing. I would LOVE to view them from Alaska - what an awesome sight that must have been.
Response: It is so interesting to see other parts of our continent. It was my pleasure to share my little slice of the Earth!
Response: How sweet of you! I reallyLOVE to make cards. They are my therapy. The ATC's were fun. I enjoy these technique ones as it pushes me to try new techniques and share some of my "old" favorites!
Response: Wow that envie made it to you fast. I am glad you liked it's contents. I am really enjoying these technique swaps! I was happy to stamp you out some fun images to use in future projects. I am looking forward to the next time we meet up for a swap!
Response: I too loved the contrast in those photos - so much so that I felt the strong need to send you the pair! Thanks to you, I am looking forward to heading out more often in the year 2014!
Response: I was on a creative roll and just couldn't stop with an ATC. After reading your profile, I decided tat fan "had your name" on it. I'm happy you liked everything!
Response: You teach me so many fantastic techniques, I'm always delighted to come up with something new to show you. The trick is getting enough gesso on to give it some nice texture but not so much that it loses all it's detail. Have fun playing - I'll be waiting for my next creative challenge!
Response: I have driven by that bridge numerous times but never really noticed it before - perhaps because of the tree coverage. I'm glad you liked both cards - thanks so much for rating and Congratulations to you on your marriage!
Response: Thanks - I love trees. They are a majestic piece of growing history. I would love to make it out to redwood forest! Have a great day!
Response: Yeah, I am so glad you liked all your swap goodies. I was hoping the panel I picked out for you would be a good choice. I don't sew but love looking at all the material. I make lots of cards and scrapbooks and put my leftover odds and ends in a basket to rummage through later. Well, my basket was overflowing so I thought I would stuff your envelope full. Everyone deserves to be spoiled every now and then - glad to hear that's how you felt!
Response: I am so happy you like your card. I enjoyed making it. It was a nice break from my fall cards and made me think forward a little. I am always happy to share my papers and embellishments!
Response: You are welcome. I'm glad you liked the card, papers and enjoyed my ramblings.
Response: Yeah, it finally got there. I was getting concerned the postal monster ate it. I'm so happy you like it - thanks for the rating!
Response: I am delighted you are happy with everything. Cards are "my thing" and the butterfly is a favorite to create!
Response: I am happy you like your card. She is one of the newest to my ever growing collection. It landed well to the IO cloud background. It is nice to hear you foot is improving too. I broke my foot several years ago and had to have surgery. It was no fun at all! Swappy hugs!
Response: I am glad my card finally made it to you safe and unharmed. Yes, the temptation to buy my own is strong but I am trying to be good, reminding myself that I can always borrow it again!
Response: So glad you liked it. I tried creating him a couple different ways before coming up with THE one to send.
Response: Thanks for rating!
Response: Yeah, so happy to provide you with an envelope full of goodies. I often wonder if our mail carriers enjoy checking out our innovative envies of art or if they just roll their eyes at us! LOL - thanks for the rating and the extra heart wishes!
Response: Glad you liked it!
Response: Loved shopping for material - something I don't typically do. I thought it would be great for little ghosts and goblins! Thanks for posting such a great stop.
Response: Glad you liked the card and goodies. I picked the background stamp up from a company no longer in business. The had the neatest stamp to color. Like you, I wonder if we all chose ladybugs. I'm anxiously waiting to see what bug will be on mine!
Response: Yeah - it makes me so happy when I please my swap partner. I love the sound of chirping insects and our "mystery supply" worked out well for that theme!
Response: I'm pleased you like your cards. It uses one of my favorite stamps!
Response: It was a fun little spree. Thanks for the color inspiration. I'm glad you liked the end result!
Response: I am glad you liked your cards. I couldn't narrow down which one to send so I opted to give you both. A girl can't have too many cards on hand!
Response: So happy you like them. I hadn't made any for awhile and forgot how much I enjoyed making them!
Response: You are quite welcome!
Response: This certainly was a fun swap. I enjoying trying new techniques. I'm sure I'll be using this one a lot. THanks for rating! :)
Response: You are quite welcome - had to ponder it awhile until I found my inspiration. So glad you are welcoming it into your collection!
Response: Thanks - It was a great swap. I would have never thought of it. Thanks for hosting!
Response: I really enjoyed making the notecards with matching folder. The rolling acrylic masking technique was a "trial and error" gone right on the very first try - almost never happens for me that way. The master board technique for my textured dies is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I love the fact each one is so uniquely different. I'm thrilled the set went to someone who appreciates them. Thanks for traveling down this creative journey with me and always encouraging me to keep trying new things!
Response: You are very welcome. Yeah, I'm happy to have provided you with your very first inchies and am thrilled you like them!
Response: I really enjoyed the summer colors and the metallic card really embossed well. You can use almost any ink on the tissue paper. I think I used Memento but I think Archival would work too. A cheap craft glue stick works great for adhering it to the card stock. Much of what I do is trial and error but I enjoy it. Thanks for the rating and so happy you liked the card!
Response: I had a blast creating it. I was a little nervous since I'd never done a mailart envie before but once I got the idea in my head and gathered the goods, the fun began. I'm glad you approve of my first attempt and all that came with it! Thanks for the encouragement and the rating!
Response: Cards are my thing so I try to send one with my swaps whenever I can carve the extra time. It had been quite awhile since I did twinchies but sure enjoyed making them - so happy you love them!
Response: Glad you enjoyed the twinchies. I thought that Victorian butterfly might be up your alley. So happy spring is here - perhaps we can catch up in person soon!
Response: I love working with a single color family from time to time. I actually have some of my favorite scrap papers sorted in bags that way so when I hit a mental block, I can choose a color group that 'speaks' to me!
Response: Oh, I'm so glad you liked your folder and the goodies inside. They are becoming some of my favorite items to swap. I enjoy making them up based on profiles and filling them up with fun little surprises. Thanks for the rating and heart. Have a wonderful Easter!
Response: I loved this technique. It was my first ever triple stamped card. I'm glad you liked it!
Response: I am just loving these technique swaps as I often start in one direction and end up somewhere else. I almost always include some type of stamping though as it is just so versatile. The turtle is a K + Company and yes, he is lovely!
Response: I am thrilled you like her. It was really a challenge and I have to admit, when I first got my kit I didn't even know where to begin. Once I got going through, it all started to come together. So glad you liked the card too - cards are my therapy! I hope to catch up with you in a future swap and who knows, maybe someday their will be a swappers retreat and we will get that chance to create together!
Response: Thanks for hosting this great swap. I love the technique challenges as they get my gears turning. It took me a couple tries to get an ATC swap worthy this time but I'm thrilled you like the finished product!
Response: I had so much fun with this swap. I think I'll be trying gift tags and notecards that use the technique as well as more inchies and ATC's. Thanks so much for the rating!
Response: You are quite welcome. I hope you found a couple goodies you could put to good use!
Response: I had a blast picking out a card kit full of fun items that I myself would love to receive. It made it so easy sinch I too enjoy making cards so much. Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy creating those cards for your family, friends and swap buddies!
Response: Oh I am so happy you liked it. Yes, I suppose I did use more than 3 techniques. I tend to get on a roll once I get past my initial mental block.
Response: Thanks for your constant boost of encouragement. I really enjoyed the push that these 3 techniques ATC's give me. I look forward to joining more of them!
Response: I was happy to kick off your Christmas season on a positive note. The little pocket book was so fun to create and even more fun to fill. I'm glad you liked everything!
Response: I'm so happy you liked your ATC - I just LOVE fall and had a blast creating it for you. Thanks for giving me my 200th heart!
Response: You can't go wrong when making a TH ATC as long as you are willing to get your hands a little dirty. So glad you liked it. Lookin forward to catching up with you in another swap soon!
Response: The technique was so fun and every card so different. I am glad you liked the one I chose for you!
Response: Thanks. The skelton is actually stamped onto pattern paper (as in simplicity clothing patterns) and then layered over the background which consisted of another stamped image and a mixture of acrylic paint and beaded medium. I'm so glad you like it!
Response: You're welcome - glad you liked it. I had fun picking out some Halloween papers to go with my stamps.
Response: Thanks so much for the lovely compliment. I do enjoy sharing my theraputic creations!
Response: So glad you liked them. I had trouble choosing just one to send and more is always better - right?!
Response: So glad you like it - I really enjoyed the creative process! Thanks for the rating.
Response: Glad you are thrilled with it. It was one of those projects that came easily and if you knew me, you would know it doesn't always happen that way. I also am a strong believer in sharing crafting knowledge - since this was a technique driven swap, I thought you should know step by stp how to repeat it just in case you would ever want to. Thanks for the confidence booster!
Response: So glad you loved your goodies. Poppies are so awesome and typically do well even where other flowers don't. Thanks for the rating and heart!
Response: Not only am I thrilled that you LOVE the ATC I made but also that I got to send you your first inchie. I have a friend who has collected quite a few and has done an awesome canvas for her wall with them. I hope one day to collect enough to do the same thing. So sorry that you tore your card. If I remember right, I used glue dots to hold the plastic sleeve on so it wouldn't release in the mail - should have went with something less sticky. :(
Response: Thanks so much for the personal message you sent me. I am just delighted that you like the card. :)
Response: You are most welcome. It was fun picking out goodies I thought you would enjoy!
Response: You're welcome. We will have to swap again soon!
Response: Loved those metal alphabets so just had to use them on your ATC. So glad you liked it!
Response: Aren't owls the coolest little creatures. They are a great focal point to any piece of art. I'm so glad you liked it.
Response: Yeah, I'm glad you can use them. I really love the tree done up in all four seasons. I use that set often for various cards. You are welcome for the card too - I try to come up with a cute notecard for my card group swaps - it gives me another reason to skip dusting and play a bit longer!
Response: I had great fun creating your goodies. The bright colors were so seasonally fun to use. I hope you enjoy using everything!
Response: I am so happy you like your new little piece of art. I always enjoy trying new techniques and love it when the finished project turns out even better than expected.

Response: So happy you like it - stamping is becoming a passion! Good luck with your new card technique and thanks for the rating.
Response: I do enjoy making cards and am so happy when someone really likes the finished product. Thanks so much for the compliments and rating!
Response: Green is often a hard color for me to incorporate so I enjoyed the challenge. I am also looking for a new angle to inspire me. I'm glad you like it!
Response: So glad you liked it. I started with the foil technique not knowing exactly where I was going but once I settled on a kitty theme, it came together!
Response: I happy that my card and ATC made your day! The stamps are great for layering techniques. Have fun with them!
Response: Yeah, glad they made it to you in one peice. I have that same set and find them very versitile. I'm happy you can put them to good use!
Response: The ATC was made in stages as I was running around from one chore to another. It kind of forced me to try something totally different and I'm glad you liked the results. Have a great year of swapping in 2012!
Response: I am so glad you liked it. Happy New Year!
Response: I am so happy that you like it. Have a Happy New Year!

Response: Your welcome. Yes, it makes you wonder just where all our mail travels to before it finally arrives in our box.
Response: So glad you liked it. I really love fall leaves so I just had to work them in! :)
Response: Glad you liked them. I did them over a get-a-way weekend. I enjoyed the polka dot theme!
Response: I'm glad you liked both of them. I had trouble choosing just one and well, a girl can never have too many cards on hand!
Response: It was lots of fun to create. I borrowed some fun TH stamps from a friend!
Response: I'm glad you like it. It was one of those I started with little direction but it just fell together just right. Silly me - forgot to scan it before I sent it. Enjoy and thanks! :)
Response: My Mom saw this card before it went out and now I have to create a couple more. The fall colors are so much fun to create with. I'm so glad you liked it. I had never thought about adding a stamp before but thought it would be an appropriate gesture for a card swap! :)
Response: So glad you liked your card. I got some new stamps and paper and couldn't wait to try them out on your card.
Response: Thanks - although not typically a Halloween nut, I've had lots of fun with the seasons crafts this year. I'm glad you like it!
Response: So glad you like your ATC and card. Also happy to give you a new way to use your embossing folder. I love when my "thinking outside the box" really turns out well.

Response: That card was definitiely designed with you in mind. The theme made it easy since you were a bird handler. Glad you liked it!
Response: There were so many possibilities for this swap. Being an animal lover made it even hard to decide what I wanted to do. I'm glad you like them!
Response: You are welcome. I was hoping to steer away from the red, white and blue for July but since I hadn't used that color combo yet and well, it was July, I just couldn't do it! :)
Response: Thanks. The black and copper was my favorite of the group too. I love when things come together even better than you visioned.

I was hoping you didn't already have those travel embellishments and am thrilled you can add them to your growing stash! :)
Response: Thanks! Some days my patience is better than others. I get in a hurry too many times and have to toss out what I started and try again. I am always happy to share what I know or have accidently learned.

Response: Thanks - I'm glad you like them. Have a great weekend!
Response: No problem - so glad it made it to you safely and that you love it. I'm sure we will meet up again in a swap! :)

Response: I am delighted you like them. I enjoy photography and sharing is so much fun with others who appreciate the art form!
Response: Thanks! I believe the section you are mentioning is the following: I drizzled on some glossy accents and covered generously with embossing powder. I then used my heat gun until it bubbled up. While still hot, I dropped in the key and lock metal charm. Once cool, I added a couple drops of alcohol ink. Glad you like it!
Response: You are welcome. It was a fun, messy ATC to create. I've decided I'll have to try the technique again using various colors.

Response: Thanks so much for the nice compliment. I have greatly enjoyed making background papers for ATC's and am thrilled you appreciate them and already have plans for one! :)

Response: So glad you like them. They have such a different feel from the other colors and were fun to create once I got on a roll.
Response: I know - I was thrilled to get you so considering all your postal woes, I had to send you two. I'm glad they made it to your mailbox and on the first try too!
Response: I love being oceanside - it has given me so many good memories. I'm glad you liked my ATC representing those memories. Thank you!
Response: I had a hard time getting started. The white theme through me off a bit but once I finally got it, they all started to click. Thanks!
Response: I am glad you like it. It was a bit time consuming but the results were worth it. Thanks!
Response: I am so glad you liked your ATC. It made it to Denmark very quickly! :)
Response: Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Response: I am glad you liked it. It took awhile but came together really nicely. I swirled my paper lightly in the alcohol inked shaving cream to create the background. I then stamped and heat embossed the image. Next I very carefully colored with gel pens allowing the colors to "set up" before switching off to the next.
Response: I hope I can keep the creativity going for the rest of the year! :)
Response: These are so much fun to make. Thanks for convincing me to try them and for the encouragement to continue.
Response: You are welcome. The ATC is heat embossed. I think the paper you are asking about is some dry embossed paper that I rolled. I am glad you like it!
Response: I am glad you liked the inchies and the card. I enjoyed making both!
Response: I wasn't sure what I was going to do with all the orange but they came together so nicely. I am glad you like them.
Response: Do try that method and invite a friend. It is theraputic to chat, dip and swirl and the results are so cool.
Response: It is amazing what a little bit of creativity and effort can do! I'm glad you liked it.
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I tried it in two different color combinations and although I noticed that you weren't into girly the pink just really jumped out at me. I was surprised since I don't lean towards typical feminine items either!
Response: You are welcome. It was such fun choosing a photo that went well with the stamp and then using so many techniques and layers to create it. It gives you a feel of what my yard looks like winter, spring and summer - couldn't figure a way to get the fall in there too! :)
Response: It was a real treat creating it. I enjoyed using so many techniques on one card.
Response: I am so glad one finally made it to your mailbox and that you like it. Thanks for your patience as we worked through the mail woes!
Response: Thanks - created one layer at a time. I went from liking it . . . (layer, layer) to hating it . . . (layer, layer) to loving it!
Response: Glad you like them. The original ATC had a real 70's look to it.
Response: I wasn't sure about joining this series but it has become one of my favorites. I hope I can keep the ideas fresh each month.
Response: I was pleased with my first zentangles and will be working on perfecting my style. I really liked the effect of the bleach on the brown paper too. It was a great ATC swap to join - thanks for hosting!
Response: Yes, although I am so tired of the cold - I am still amazed at the beauty our winters bring.
Response: Thanks for the encouragement. I am really loving these inchies and their tiny format.
Response: Wow - those got their so quickly. The snowman's paper actually had a crackled look to it. To accent and make it pop - use a glaze paint. Once dry, bend it gently to crack and go over with distress inks wiping off afterward so it stays in cracks. Then if you want it smooth, go over with a thin layer of glaze. The leaves were also done with a glaze. It is becoming a fun medium as I am finding more things to do with it!
Response: You are welcome. This was a fun swap!
Response: I hope you are now feeling much better. You are quite welcome for the inchies and the card they were presented on!
Response: I was hoping you would like that card designed just for you. Your profile made it easy to pick from and was pleased I could combine several of your favorites on to one ATC!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it. Welcome to swap-bot!
Response: I am so glad you like them. I really do enjoy creating them. They are very time consuming but so challenging and fun. Believe it or not, the medium used is Sakura Glaze Pens. They are very smooth and glide on so nicely. I use them a lot. I often put a coating of glimmer mist down first for extra dimension.
Response: You are welcome. I knew from your profile that you would enjoy seeing my favorite lighthouse. The view from the top is spectacular as well!

Response: I am glad you liked it. I was pleased with how well the paper bleached and also the fact that the bleaching created a very subtle effect. I will be playing more with my household products!
Response: You are welcome. I think we could all use a little sunshine this time of the year!
Response: I am so glad you liked it. Yes, I was one of the lucky ones who received your winter photograph and I chuckled when I read your note and saw the photo as I had just put yours in the mail explaining how I loved to fee our birds. What type of birds gather there in the winter?

Response: I can't get enough of fall colors - had to find a way to work them all in. I'm glad you liked it!
Response: Thanks - I love fall trees. They are a great inspiration.
Response: I really wanted something different - I had to "think outside the box" to get away from just adding some brads or charms. I am glad you liked it!
Response: I am so glad you liked it. It was an experiment as it is the first I've done with one of my own photos. I tried it several ways before it seemed to "work". Enjoy!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed my take on fall and the extras too. I really hate to see all our leaves come down because I know it is the end to our beautiful color. Have a great weekend!

Response: I had great fun creating the background as well as designing, embossing and coloring in my "little monsters". Have a Happy Halloween!
Response: You are quite welcome. I am finding these cards very addictive to create.
Response: I am glad you accepted my 1st ATC so graciously. And the bonus background is what I call "therapy" - they are so relaxing to create.
Response: Thanks for the confidence booster. I am glad you liked it. I thought it turned out well and it was difficult to let it go in the mail. Your response made sending it on all worthwhile!
Response: I'm glad you liked. I am new to ATC's but am already finding myself searching for new, fun techniques to use!
