Comment: I did receive communication that you were going to resend but I never got anything and communication stopped. I will change the rating if you decide to get back into swapping and come through at some point. I hope you are okay.
Comment: Will change if the journal ever arrives.
8/17: Not received. Lauren messaged me Aug 3rd and said she will check on the missing journal. Have not heard the update.
Emailed partner 7/19 and unread. Partner has not logged online since 7/11. Im hoping nothing is wrong.
Comment: Great PC:) I think almost any museum can be interesting in some way, although I did go to a tractor museum once and wasn't overly entertained lol! Hope you're having a great summer with less gloomy weather:)
Comment: Thank you very much! :) I enjoyed your journal and getting to know you and about the various holidays that take place in April! The little book you made is so cute/creative! Love the coffee paper as well, thank you again! :)
Comment: Hey, just got your list this morning. I haven't heard of any of these books, and I'm due for a library run this week so...you know I'll be taking this with me! Thanks. All of them seem intriguing. P.S. cute little chick sticker :)
Comment: What a beautiful card and envelope! Thank you so much for the little handmade envelopes. They are super cute! I will email you to answer your questions because I will have a lot to write. Thank you for the great swap!
Comment: Thank you so much! I loved hearing about your dad's experience in Africa. When you mentioned that he liked trying their food, at first I thought that you were saying that he was eating giraffe food!
Response: Omg. haha I may have worded that a bit weirdly then. oops!
Comment: Thank you for the cool image of the You Are the Star mural -- it was fun identifying which icon was which :) -- colorful and cute washi and owl sticker, and for answering some of my questions! I'm glad you had a wonderful, memorable trip; I love interesting, colorful roadside stops, too ^_^
Comment: I work as a Library Associate at the Circulation desk, Youth Services desk and sometimes Info Desk. The Info desk scares me because you never know what crazy thing the patrons are going to ask you to look up! One patron asked if we had books on Gerontology. I was like a deer caught in headlights. He told me it was the study of dead people. He taught me something, thats for sure! Thanks for the postcard!
Comment: Lauren! Thank you SO much for taking me with you through your month. Again, I apologize for not rating sooner, that was totally my mistake. But I am glad I read through at a slower pace to really feel each day with you. I was just as happy as you were when you let yourself take that sporadic trip to Mt. Baldy, and I was just as bummed that you didn't get to immerse into the wildflower fields. Thank you for taking me with you to the swap meet, too! I used to go with my mom as a kid, but unfortunately have never been since. I used to beg my mom to buy me the lot of Barbies that someone always brought to sell. You can imagine she would always tell me no, lol. But anyway, I had fun in the class reading about Amelia Earhart too, and I also got sad that Luis worked overtime on his birthday! It seems like you guys have great chemistry, and I am excited for the happiness you guys have together. Thanks for including your address in the book--I'll write soon! Lots & lots of love, Analise
Comment: This was the most adorable little letter. Thank you, Lauren!! I love your hedgehog stationery, too. Care to share where you got it? I love hedgehogs!! I have added your letter to the "write back" pile since you wrote so many great things I can respond to. I'm just a little behind on that pile since life has been a bit crazy lately, but I promise that I will. Thank you again! :)
Response: Oh my goodness I am so glad! I found it at Daiso. I'm not sure if that store is in your neck of the woods. If not, I'd be more than happy to send you a pack of it in my response to your response hehe. All the best! Can't wait to hear back!
Comment: First of all, thank you! I was hoping and hoping someone would have an Elvis stamp sent to me so I can clean it for my international Elvis-fan pals! Two, where did you even find Lisa Frank stationery? I need to get out more because I had no idea that was a thing...
And three.. I don't have much of a tradition to be honest, I'm thinking about starting one for myself. Again, thank you much!
Response: oh my goodness. It was fate! Something was telling me to put that stamp on there. Perfect! And I got the Lisa Frank stationery from Target dollar spot many many moons ago. I have spotted some Lisa Frank items occasionally at Dollar Tree and 99 cent only stores. Hope you are having a wonderful day. And I'm so glad to have helped in your quest for the Elvis stamp. hehe
Comment: Thanks for sharing your weekend with me. You have a beautiful penmanship. I need to go through the clutter in my craft room and on my dresser. Maybe I can do that during the holiday break. I am also a huge fan of reading and Netflix. I am currently going a bunch of free books I downloaded from BookBub. Have a great week.
Comment: Ahhh, thank you for this spiffily-dressed violinist kitty -- he's going on my mood board T__T -- adorable kitty stickers, and your excellent recommendations in a font-like, neat hand, Lauren :D I have been meaning to read the Sookie Stackhouse novels, as I dislike watching a show or film if I haven't read the source work. (And so many of my favorite actors appeared in True Blood, heheh.) I'm glad you enjoyed the more recent Pete's Dragon; I am conflicted with how Disney has a tendency to reboot its classics. (I don't know how I feel about the Beauty and the Beast film, since the animated film is so exquisite already.) I will have to look up Dominion, and I miss Mario on all the previous consoles :) Hope you have sunnier weather this week! Thank you for bringing a smile to my face this weekend ♥
Comment: Thank you so much for the sweet notecard. First of all, it is never too early for Halloween! Love all the goodies you added to my card. I have also recently purchased a record player and once again enjoying the scratchy sounds of my old record collection. Walking Dead Fanatic here! Hugs, Mona
Comment: Many thanks for the nice postcard of the library fireplace with 2 great quotes about books :) I have the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book at my parents' house which I still haven't read. Maybe I should do so later on ;) I like the cute stickers and happy reading to you too!~
Comment: Cute card! I know what you mean about buying all the stuff.. I used to visit "morning glory" and buy all the blue bear stuff.. Though hello kitty holds a special place in my heart.. My mom had me in a club when I was little :)
Comment: Thank you very much for the great card of Red Rock Canyon with fantastic stamps 💕 Nice poetry and I also feel like reading a tongue twister somehow :P Will read the entire poem and search for the meaning of each line because I think I will find it beautiful when I understand what this poem is about ^_~
