Comment: Marinda - love the Köln postcard and your Scattegory answers! Thanks so much! (Would George Washington not be amazed by the Kindle Fire?! Great answer! Mine was karaoke bar, LOL!) ~ Michelle in New Mexico
Comment: Thank you for the food PC. I don't think I would do well learning French. When in high school, I took German & now I'm lucky if i remember some words, lol ! As it's been 35 yrs. since been in high school, ugh!
Comment: Thank you for such an awesome Valentine, I've never seen a holographic one quite like the one you sent!! Also, thank you for the sweet tuck-ins, what a nice surprise!! I hope you had an awesome holiday!
Comment: Thank you for the very nice selection of cards you chose, Marinda. I especially like the Cedar Waxwings (I get big flocks of them when the big fig tree in my yard is in fruit) & the Royal Horticultural Society flowers.
Comment: Thank you Marinda for the ☆♥♥❥❥❥✿☆BEAUTIFUL ☆✿❥❥❥♥♥☆ Thanksgiving card. I love how you decorated your envelope with autumn washi and Snoopy stickers. My favorite sticker is Woodstock dressed up as a turkey! Adorable! I love the 2016 Diwali forever US postage stamp. Very on point! The yellow bulletin board leaf, sticker leaf, and stamped scarecrow image are cute, but my favorite is the adult coloring prayer card! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Ѽ☕Ѽ☕Ѽ☕Ѽ☕
Comment: Thanks for the Pioneer Village PC. My DIL said the woman in the pic looks like Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, lol! I'm sure you are glad it's cooling down, Summer in AZ is not for me, I like to be outdoors during the day!
Comment: Hi Marinda! Love the veggie pc and I have not heard of many of them as well! I am going to start trying to eat healthier, so who knows, I might run across a few of them! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: When I rcvd your postcard I thought "oh, no, why did my postcard come back in the mail"? lol Yours is so similar to the ones I made. OUr postcards had a few stickers in common but not too many. Ya know, theres that green witch at the bottom of your postcard pouring candy in her mouth....she reminds me of a vintage cartoon i once saw. Wish I could peel away some stickers on her. lololol Oh and coolio you used a vintage 1982 postcard! I saw that! lolol Thank you!
Comment: Thank you my friend Marinda for the Halloween pumpkin card & extras. The color patterned papers I will us for my Halloween ATCs. Its always a pleasure finding your envelope in my mail box. I'm doing good. My mom enjoys looking at my Halloween mail. Happy Halloween!
Comment: Thank you for the cute card, die cuts, and stamped images. I love your story about the full moon, black kittens, and Friday the 13th. I love it when things like that happen, especially when it involves numbers, the moon, and freakin adorable animals. 😊
Comment: Thank you so much for your letter! Congratulations on your anniversary! I hope dinner was wonderful and I'll keep my fingers crossed for Europe! I hope you took pics of the babies. I'd love to see them.
Comment: Happy anniversary! Mine was 6 days ago on the 17th. Only 8 years for us though! Nope I do not have any Neely relatives in Arizona. They're almost all in Texas. Yes the leaves have JUST started changing colors. I saw a tree with a red patch in it the other day. So pretty!
Comment: I'm so sorry for the late, late rate. My mail has been sitting in a pile [forever, it seems] that I simply couldn't get to--with my miles long to-do lists. I love the Sherlock Holmes postcard and the Samuel Beckett wisdom. The "Letters Lift Spirits" postage was the icing on the cake. Thank you for all of it and for joining in!
Comment: Loved the PC. I collect blk and white and Sienna PC's. It's a great addition to my collection.Love your answers. And the old stamps are wonderful. I collect stamps too. Have a great day and thanks for sharing. bearnbabs P.S. I lived in Phx for 12 yrs.
Comment: Hi Marinda! Loved your puppy notecard, as well as the mix of dogs and cats on the envelope - even better when I found out you own neither! You sound like you have a busy summer ahead of you, what with one sister coming to stay and another getting married. No time to re-read any of those Georgette Heyer books! I have been a fan of hers since I was 12 (I am now 60) and still have all my original paperback copies of her books on my shelves. Every now and then, I pull one off to re-read, for a taste of another time and place, they are that good! Your note was lovely, bright and cheery and fun. Enjoy your busy summer! Tracy
Comment: Hi Marinda.got your p.c. love it the mounted police are allways very colourful and the horses look good as well .it is starting to get cool here now ,not looking forward to winter.hugs from Tasmania, happy swapping ....wendy
Comment: Thanks for the cool card! When I was at my grandma's house I could hear the train which was a few blocks away. I used to like to go to the depot which was boarded up. My dad sold papers there as a boy. One day I was able to get inside and it was like going back in time. I took a 1956 calendar out of there. Anyway, now I live 2 1/2 miles from the tracks and hearing that whistle brings back many fond memories. Thanks for sharing yours.
Comment: Thank you for the International airport postcard I enjoyed reading your answers, especially your choice for what makes you happy. Me too! Great postal stamps - always a treat to get older ones.
Comment: This was a great card to a place I have always wanted to go, in fact. I love that I assumed EVERYBODY would choose "exercise" for should do, and you proved me happily wrong. Because people come up with the greatest ideas. The stamps, too, beautiful!!! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you so much for the vintage postcard of Notre Dame! When I visited Paris about 20 years ago, there was a lot of scaffolding in front of the church because they were making repairs or renovations. It didn't offer the best view, but the inside was beautiful. I love vintage postcards too! Happy New Year!
Comment: Thank you for the Toledo Ohio card. You are right - Colorado is very unpredictable. One January we had 76 degrees. Sometimes snow for Christmas and sometimes not, but the Mountains are gorgeous!!!
Comment: Hi Marinda! Merry Christmas! Thank you for the very pretty card and the tags. Yup, I see that, that we seem to exchange a lot of cards. I love it though! Thank you too, for telling me about your favorite ornament. Sounds really pretty. My favorite is this little mouse w/ a scarf around his neck, that's on a sled. So cute, it is!
Comment: Thanks for the great snowy PC! We have no snow here as yet except on the high mountains surrounding the ocean. It has been in the 40's until this last week where it got down to the 20s at night. We have been able to take pics of my husband "mowing the lawn" on New Year's day for the past few years. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Holiday Greetings Marinda,
We've been swapping Christmas cards awhile now. It's good to partner with you again. Thank you for the Nativity card, my favorite kind. And the darling little wreath note card. They do not make them that small any more:-(
Comment: Thank you Marinda, for sending to me "triangles," the gorgeous PC showing sunset at the pyramids of Egypt. What a view! Yes, its a way to view a PC scene as more than just images. I like that. I'm glad to meet up with you again in a swap. Happy Thanksgiving!
Comment: Thank you for Margaritaville! I've never seen that bird Christmas postage before, cool! Recently I've been making myself a Royal Hawaiian (pineapple & lemon juice, gin, oregat-except I've replaced that with amaretto because that's what I have-but I've run out-eek!)
Comment: I definitely envy you your winters, but not your summers! My mom lives in Tucson and I pretty much always know how hot it is there! Love the PC! We had a tug-of-war at work and it was hysterical! Thank you!
Comment: I looked up a review of "Cotillion" and it sounds like a fun read, so I may have to look into that! Love the PC place on the front and your map place, I would rather be in either of those instead of Texas right now, it's way too hot too early here! Thank you!
Comment: I love hot air balloons, and I love this PC, but I have to go to an actual Festival to see one, and we only have 2 or 3 a year I can get to. Also, have never seen a Texas Hot Air Balloon PC! Thank you!
Comment: I love this card!!!! how creative! we don't normally do anything big for 4th either cause fireworks really bother my sons ears even with noise cancelling headphones so we opt out. we did see some from our porch though that neighbors shot off.. thanks for the card, I really like it. I love the stamps and I love that ya wrote in red and blue too. very festive. thanks so much. (we sent off a patriotic eagle) have a great day!
Comment: Love the PC, when I was in Arizona a few years ago I didn't make it into the mountains. We're having a cool front here and recently had 89 degrees and some rain! 115 degrees!! That's why I only visit in the winter! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the Grand Canyon card. It had a huge scratch on front, so I gigured this could be the mishap postcard swap. Until I read the back of the card where you wrote about the moisture damage at the edges. Whoops! Guess the machines from the post wanted to add a little to the mishap ;) Thanks! Love the Grand Canyon and hope to visit it some day <3
Response: Ha ha! That's funny. Yes, there was no scratch on the postcard when I sent it. Lol I'm glad it happened to be this swap that the post office machines added a mishap!
Comment: Hi Marinda... thank you so much for the Colorado PC. My brother lives near Ft. Collins, so I have been to CO a few times. I'm just glad I went in the summer... I'm not a fan of cold weather! Thanks again!
Comment: Hello Marina! That was an antique PC! Thank you! Loved your. Useless facts. Especially loved the one about the population of China. I dont have kids so i am not going to add to the burden of overpopulation anywhere in the world. It is scary to think about that is for sure! I learned that there is now more garbage in the ocean that there are fish! Scary! Want to be a part of the solution not add to more problems! Ok thank you for the fun facts!
Comment: Thank you for the interesting card! I'm very jealous of your swimming pool - it's something I long for. I hope you enjoy it every day. I really love the photography stamp - I've never seen it before. Thank you!
Comment: Hi Marinda! Thank you for the very cute postulate - it is springy! I am so ready, how about you? Loved hearing about your soccer kiddos - sure miss those days! I have not watched much of the olympics but the little I saw was amazing! Does anyone get enough sleep these days? Sad but true! Thanks for the visit and for joining the swap! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hi Miranda!!! What a cute kitten! Looks like he's into a little mischief with that ball of yarn! LOVE him! Thank you for the bible cards! I am going to put them in my Art Journaling Bible! Happy Valentine's Day! :) Shannon
Comment: What a beautiful card! Yes! I have been to the Grand Canyon! My pictures did not do it justice! I have always wanted to walk down to the bottom, but it's never happened - yet! Perhaps I should have gone earlier in my life! haha! I love AZ dry heat!
Comment: Thanks for the card! I used to have a cockatiel also. His name was Henry. He was a cool bird, and he talked a little. He liked to mimic me quite a bit. He was a hoot and he loved music also! Have a great day and Happy swapping.....Thanks for the great stamps!
Comment: Hi Marinda, so nice to meet you here at swapbot. Thanks for the lovely decorated envelope and the lovely cat card and note inside. My granddaughter is also in kindergarten this year, fun times!! I loved all the neat cat washi tapes and the stickers on the envelope. Thanks for a great swap! :)
Response: You're welcome! It was nice to swap with you!
Comment: Hi Marinda! Always nice to partner with you and thank you for joining the swap! It had been so dang cold here - down in single digits and negative wind chills, but this weekend it is in the 50's so feels like flipflop weather!! LOL! Oh how I miss those soccer kiddo days - sigh! The oldest still plays (at 27) in rec leagues and loves it! See ya at the mailbox! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Lovely postcard, thank you! My boyfriend grew up in the desert too - when he came out to VA to visit me he was amazed at all the trees we had just randomly growing everywhere! Funny how something so common on one coast is so foreign to the other!
Comment: Wow! You really stuffed that card! Thank you so much for everything and I look forward to making beautiful mail art with the stamps and die-cuts. Everything else will be well used too and what a neat idea to add that quote from Tiny Tim. :) I hope you're enjoying your winter in sunny AZ! Here it's cold and snowy.
Comment: Wow! I am still speechless after coming home to your happy mail after a very long day at work. Not only are the cards you sent so perfect for me personally, I can't believe the incredibly generous quantity! A million hearts were sent your way last night through my delight. Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the snowy PC! Pretty washi tapes too. We have no snow here except on top of the mountains. We are getting colder temps. There is still hope for a white Christmas. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Hi Marinda! Thank you for the very cute Christmas Notecard and it was fun to have a visit from you at the mailbox! I can only imagine how busy you are with teenagers in the house - lots of fun activities and oh' how I miss them! LOL! Enjoy as it all goes way too quickly! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you very much for the festive Cardinal card!... I am almost ready Christmas, I think lol... How exciting to have your sister and her family with you for Christmas, you couldn't receive a better present!! I hope it will be a Very Merry Christmas for you!!!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful card/PC! Yes it has been hot in Texas, cold in Texas and even snowing one night! Welcome to Texas! LOL! Our last snow was in 2009 so we're not expecting that again anytime soon.
Comment: Thanks for the shark postcard! Super unique and interesting! Just a quick note: I don't want to be a meanie beanie, but I noticed that your postmark was Dec 5th for this swap, but the send-by-date was 2nd of December. I'm sure you sent it by the date (I'm not upset or anything at all!!), but perhaps you could put a little disclaimer in your profile that the send-by date may be incorrect for your swaps? Thank you once again for this cool postcard! From Soph :)
Response: That is crazy! I sent it more than a week earlier than that! I put my outgoing mail in the mailbox in front of my house. I cant believe it took the post office so long. Maybe because of the holidays? Thx for the advice. Maybe I will put that on my profile. Marinda
Comment: Vintage postage -- love! Thank you for sharing your cool stamps with me! And thank you for the long note. I hope you enjoy your busy holiday season and have a great family visit with your sister's family. Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for the cactus in the snow card. We have not had much snow for the last couple of years now. Last snow we had was just enough to cover the ground on Halloween. My cousin goes to south Texas to get away from the snow in Nebraska and yesterday they had snow in Texas.
Comment: PC arrived today :) I never would of thought of snow there, even in the higher elevations. It's actually a nice mild winter this year - haven't seen much cold temps yet! we've been hanging out in the 20F to 30F in the day and night in the teens to 20's so not too bad. But so beautiful with all the snow :) Thank you for the PC :)
Comment: Dear Marinda,
Thank you so much for the postcard! I was surprised to find that the card was printed in Taiwan(my homeland) XDD I love the large letter stamp on the card and it's great to learn about Laughlin!
Comment: I'll have to take your word for there being drummer toys hidden in the optical illusion :D.
I think the fact that I basically have monocular vision is what prevents me from seeing those hidden images. Anyway, that's my story & I'm sticking to it!
Comment: Thank you. It’s been warm here too. It just doesn’t seem right to be this warm. It’s supposed to be in the 60’s next week. It’s also showing snow for next Friday and 45 degrees, but that snow forecast will disappear by tomorrow. I hope I’m wrong though.
Comment: Cool pc! I downloaded a camera translator so I could translate it the front of it just says: the zoo animals are...
Cute polar bears! LOVE the St. Nick postage! I forgot about that series. Wasn't doing much mail in 2001..maybe a few Christmas cards to family back then. Happy Holidays!
Comment: Thank you for the interesting card in your holiday-decorated envie with the nice stamps. By coincidence I almost sent a Chicago Fire card for this swap too, but then I found an erupting volcano in my stash! Happy holidays.
Comment: Marinda, you must have great ESP because the car pictured in the card you sent me is a deux chevaux, my all time favorite automobile! Forget about the Eiffel Tower, I'd go to Paris just for the chance to ride in one again! And yes, I have been to Paris a few times, but not for many years. Thanks for the memories!
Comment: Oh my gosh the prairie dogs are so cute!! We went to Teddy Roosevelt park and they have this HUGE prairie dog area. Could just sit there all day watching those little cuties :) Thank you for the cute card :)
Comment: Hi Marinda, thank you for the Foghorn Leghorn card! I have never been to Magic Mountain either, despite living in California. Whenever I'm down there and drive by it, the verdict always ends up being, "yes, but DISNEYLAND!" =)
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card! I actually got it a while ago but misplaced it, sorry for taking a while to rate :) I love Madonna, and in general the Catholic saint images are some of my favorites :) happy swapping! Oh, and thanks for the cool baseball and dinosaur stamps!!
Comment: What a great PC for this swap - thanks so much. It's cooling off here too and I am also enjoying the lower temps and lower humidity - it can get hot and steamy here during the summer and it is the humidity that really takes your breath away when you go outside. Fall and spring are my favorite seasons because of the lovely temps we have here. Thanks again for the great PC and happy swapping ~~
Comment: Thank you very much for the beautiful postcard of the blossom cactus, I loved it ... the funny thing is that in this swap I sent a postcard very similar to one of my partners, what a coincidence! the stamps are great too ... Greetings from Chile!
Comment: I love the postcard from Tonto National Monument! Where I am in Utah doesn't get much in the way of seasons. It goes from cold to hot to hotter and back to hot. So, yeah. Thank you for the postcard!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful vintage Mickey and Minnie on Main Street card, adorable Toy Story Alien and Lotso stickers, Nobel postage, and for sharing your Disney memories! I visited Disney World as a child (8 years old) and two years ago for the Disney Princess Half Marathon, and I visited Disneyland once also as a young child; it was fascinating to revisit favorites as an adult :) Your card made me smile to recall how happy I was in 2015 to experience the performers sing and dance "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" (which I performed in college show choir) as my friends and I strolled down Main Street around 8 AM. ♥
Comment: What a wonderful train PC - thank you so much. I would prefer going on the railway rather than going by helicopter or mules. . . just would be so wonderful to sit back and enjoy the scenery in comfort. Thanks again for the great PC for this swap ~~
Comment: Thank you for the surgery 3D PC. I have always been able to see those pictures so thank you for sending one. I don't have one on my collection. I'm going to take it to work to see if any of my friends can see it.
Comment: Thank you for the fun PC, note and verse of encouragement to send me back to work...my summer went by way to fast..hope you are having cooler temps by now. Our fall colors are showing!!...Charlene
Comment: Hey I got both in the same day even! :) Oh how exciting for your parents ! glad they got a visit in before they leave - hopefully all goes well for them over in Chile. Thank you for the great PC!
Comment: Mailman just dropped off a pile o' cards and this was one of them! :) That would feel strange for me to be in a place that doesn't get snow - I love winter, the temperatures can get to be a bit much at times :)
Comment: Thank you very much for the cool dog postcard, love it! :) I didn't know dogs could surf :D And thanks for picking stamps that fit to the postcard, I really liked that! Have a wonderful day and happy swapping for you :)
Comment: Wow! Great vintage NYC & statue of liberty! My favorite is the Empire State bldg 🗽 it has been pretty hot here, too. We're going to have a week or longer with highs in the 90s, ugh, but I shouldn't complain knowing your heat!
Comment: What an adorable card you sent me. I can remember when my kids were little sitting on the curb waiting for the fireworks to begin. Lucky you going to California. It's super hot here today on the East Coast. Enjoy your holiday week.
Comment: Thanks for the "Guess How Much I Love You" PC. I have that collection too! My BFF gave me the set and then, I decided I should have a second set because they're so cute! Found the second set on ebay--super deal! See ya next time!
Comment: Thanks for the great Route 66 PC. I have been on parts of Route 66 but it was many years ago. It's so funny that you've never been on it but it seems that's the way it is -- the closer you live to something the less chance you've actually been there! Thanks again for the PC and happy swapping ~~
Comment: Marinda, thanks for the bunny illustration from "Guess How Much I Love You." It is one of my favorites. It brings back memories of my children who would wake up and stack up a pile of books and come barely balancing them. They wanted us to read before breakfast! I didn't have access to children's lit myself, so out exploration of the world was as new and amazing to me as it was to them. As research data shows, children who are read to will learn to read almost without any help. That was clearly so with my daughter who was reading chapter books such as the Little House on the Prairie series before going to kindergarten! It was a mixed blessing, but most for the good. Thanks so much!
Response: Thank you so much for the lovely rating comment! It brightened my day!
Comment: What a beautiful card! Thank you so so much! I am sorry for delay, I thought I had given you your <3 rating, which I usually do the day I get my mail. I have a chart I check off and realized just now, oh no! I had not done yours. You did a wonderful job and I love it!
Comment: Very cute! Actually, I had braces as an adult about 15 years ago because my mom couldn't afford them when I was a kid. Now I'm best friends with a retainer every night, unfortunately! But I try to be disciplined.
Comment: I love this PC ~~ when I first moved to southern California in the late 70s this is what the area looked like and I loved it. On hot nights you could smell the sweet smelling orange blossoms in the air and it was just heavenly. Over time however they got rid of so many orange grooves for housing developments and it was very sad to see them go. Thanks so much for this lovely PC and hope to see you in future swaps ~~
Comment: WOW Marinda!! When I got your postcard, I had no idea it was colored - it's GORGEOUS. Thank you so much for sending. I hope you have a great week, and things slow down a bit for your family :) Dina
Comment: Thank you! I've never been to Arches National Park, but it's on my list. We had actually planned on going there a couple of years ago, but had RV troubles, so we only made it to Bryce and Zion. In retrospect, though, the extra time at Bryce and Zion was very much needed.
Comment: Thank you for _four_ presidents! I've never been to Mt Rushmore and I really ought to go. It's only 600 miles from the Twin Cities. My brother said the fireworks display on Independence Day is fabulous.
Comment: Thank you for the Oregon coast sunset card. We have beautiful sunsets & sunrises here in KS also. Can't see them as well as we used to from home but that makes it so much better when we are out and about and see them.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely vintage postcard! It is wonderful to find someone who has so much in common with me. If you'd like to read about our adoptions, you can follow the link on my profile to my blog. Go back to the beginning as it's just a few posts before we headed to China the first time, then only a few before our second trip. I'd love to hear yours sometime too!
Comment: What a wonderful PC -- I absolutely love it. The dresses on these ladies as well as the pillars and draping grapes pulls my mind to a lavish gala on a summer's night. I hope you had a great time camping but feel bad and can empathize with your hubby having allergy issues -- miserable when you're away from home. Thanks again for the lovely PC and hope you have a great weekend ~~
Comment: Beautiful PC of the Florida Panther. It is such a shame that so many animals are on the endangered species list and I'm sure they are trying to do what can be done to enlarge the numbers. It would be such a shame to see these gorgeous animals become extinct. Thanks for the beautiful PC ~~
Comment: Hi Marinda - anyhow always fun to hear from you and I hope your date night rocked! I realized you had kiddos but not 5 - yikes! No breathing room for you lady! Thanks for the fun share! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: Great date night! Probably one of our best. :) Thank you!
Comment: Great letter! The way you wrote it was like an old pal sitting down and catching up. I hope the camping went well and the weekend dinner and a movie with the hubby! Spending time with our spouses is important to having a good relationship! Have a great day and thanks for the great Postalette!
Comment: Thank you for the cute card. It made me laugh and the quote was perfect. I love to read. At present I am reading a set of books called Chronicles of Dragon by Craig Halloran. Love the Kindle app as I can get many books for free with my Amazon Prime.
Comment: Thank you so much for your letter! I really enjoyed reading it and getting to know you better. If you lived closer I would teach you to make quilts. It's hot here too so sewing is a nice indoor activity that doesn't include having a yarn blanket stretched across your lap keeping you warmer. LOL!
Comment: Hi Marinda, thank you for the awesome PC I just love the VW vintage van on the front. And I loved how you used a variety of stamps, thank you so much. Beautiful. Happy swapping blessings and have joy.
Comment: Marinda, I got your awesome postalette today! I love postalettes! I loved the letter. I understand about the hot summers of Arizona. I am not crazy for the Texas summers either! Thanks for the great swap. You really made my day!
Comment: Hi Marinda! So glad you got to enjoy a lazy day of relaxation - we all need those! TY for the lovely pc, I have never been to CA but it is on my bucket list! Thanks for the wonderful Monday Happy Mail! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the Niagara Falls card. I have been there twice, once in the winter and once in the summer. I have a collection of cards, both Canadian and American and your card was a new one for me!
Comment: Thank you for the postcards. They are both very nice. I especially like the old stone church. It is lovely - I love old vintage-type buildings. I know what you mean about just a door or window, it was a challenge for me, too.
Comment: Hi Marinda! Love the pc and I am kicking myself that we did not have time to go to Mt. Vernon when we visited Washington, DC - sigh! Hopefully we will get to visit again someday as it was awesome! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hi Marinda. What a pretty name. We got married in an old church with golden hardwood floors and pews and green stained glass windows. A beautiful combination. Thanks for the card and the stamp..
Comment: Thank you for the card. I just got home from my Christmas vacation. We live in southern California and this week experienced blizzard conditions on the highway. Not fun! I'm not ready for the season to be over, but I'm glad to be back in the warmer weather.
Comment: Hi Marinda! Thank you for the lovely share about your upcoming baking (I was jealous and wishing you lived closer - LOL!) and about your daughter! Happy Belated B-day to her and I hope she had a fun day! Hoping the holidays bring lots for you all to smile about! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: Thank you very much. Her birthday went well and she is thrilled to be 5 whole years old! LOL Hugs to you, too. :)
Comment: Hi Marinda! TY for the lovely Christmas pc - the stickers are too cute on it! I am enjoying the holidays but sure wish December would be two months long so it was not so hectic! LOL! May the holidays bring lots for you to smile about! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Greetings from frosty Illinois where it is 41 degrees and expecting in the low 20s tonight. Brrrrrr!
Thank you for your beautiful Peace card. I love it and the tag. Thank you for swapping with me.
Bessings of peace and joy,

Comment: Hi Marinda! TY for the lovely castle pc! We got to visit a few when we were in Germany and they are amazing until you think of bathrooms or lack thereof! Or being a servant - yikes! Pretty awesome stuff though regardles of those issues! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: thanks for the meaningful card. I understand a person who love their things as their life. This card make me recall back my primary school experience: i use raincoat to cover all my books and my own getting wet... hahaha
Comment: Great PC for this swap. . . I think the ticket is to allow admittance into the crypt. . .spoooooky!! I like Edward Gorey illustrations - always just fun. Thanks again for a perfect PC for this swap. . . and happy Halloween ~~
Comment: Thanks for the neat postcards, Marinda! I love how you got the 2-4-6-8 stuff. :-) (Though there are actually six "pink" states in the continental U.S., seven when Alaska is included. RI is tiny, but it's pink, too!) Thank for sharing! :-)
Comment: Thanks for the doves card, Marinda. I have Mourning Doves at and under my bird feeders every day and occasionally a much more stately ring necked dove will come to visit. Still very hot here too, but at least the hurricane missed us!
Comment: Thank you so much for the neat "Halloween Themed" postcards, Marinda! I'm especially grateful for the "spooky" gargoyles, as I think it is a duplicate for my collection so I can share it with my partner! (She doesn't really like art cards, and that's pretty much all I have that fit the prompts.) So double thank you!!! :-)
Response: Whoa! I'm so glad that worked out for you! Otherrwise, I would have felt bad! :) Thanks for the very kind comment!
Comment: Hello, I very much like the Hope butterfly postcard and especially the Wm Gladstone quote you included, "Be happy with what you have and are, be generous with both, and you won't have to hunt for happiness."
Comment: What a lovely sunset over the Outer Banks! I, too, enjoy sunsets although I don't get too many of them so close to DC. I think some of the prettiest ones I've seen have been out in the desert and Hawaii . .but of course that's because I've been there at the time - I'm sure everyone feels that way :-) Thanks for the sharing a lovely sunset ~~
Comment: Hi Marinda!!
I LOVE EDWARD GOREY PCs!! Thank you!!! this one is perfect for Fall!!
cooler days are definitely a MUST! I am not in AZ... but here in NJ it was a little warmer than we're used to -- high 90s all of July and wow the humidity was brutal!
Thank goodness for FALL!! let the festivities begin! HEHE!!!
Comment: Thank you for the card and note. Yes Christmas will be here soon and with it my Great grandson will be 1. He was born on Dec 22nd. And a great granddaughter will be 1 in just 6 weeks. Doesn't seem like it is fall already.
Comment: Thank you for the great "M" postcards, Marinda! I can't wait for a swap in which I can share them! :-) And I too am grateful that Summer is finally ending. Cooler weather will be wonderful! :-)
Comment: The kittens are adorable, and when I showed my cat the card, she seemed to know they were cats. She approached, and then backed away, and did that 2 more times before she got close enough to sniff. Then she seemed to know it wasn't real, or at least not a threat, but she was definitely suspicious at the first! So you get a heart from me and from Chiquita! Happy swapping!
Comment: Hello Marinda, its a pleasure being in a swap with you again. Thank you for the interesting Asian language postcard you sent to me. Near as I can tell its about a group who has picked some fruit? Anyway, I hope your September goes well.
Comment: Thank you for the vintage postcard, Marinda. I wouldn't mind a visit to Egypt myself! Thanks for the the thoughtful extra goodies you included as well, especially that WackyStuff faux postage stamp. Right up mu quirky little alley! Reminds me of the matchbox labels I collected when I lived in India.
Comment: Ooh....I forgot to rate you. Your VERY UGLY postcard arrived about 5 days ago. I think I was very impressed ;-)
Apparently there is someone in this world who thinks it's a good idea to put an awful plant on a postcard.....
Comment: Dear Marinda, thank you for the NC postcard! Funny you said you never been there :) I actually went to UNC-Clt for my undergrad back in 1995 and the Outer Banks was one of my favorite places I visited for spring break.. And at that time I never thought of buying postcards, lol.. So it's like psychic.. Now that I live halfway across the globe, I come to appreciate the South :) You should visit NC for me :) Thx again for the card, you just made my day!💛
Comment: Hi Marinda! TY for the awesome bear pc! I love everything about it! I would like to see a bear but not close up and personal! LOL! Hope you have a great time at the wedding! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thanks for sharing your bucket list cards Marinda! I hope your flight went well. I have never been to Hawaii or have the skills to quilt....i wish you much success! The vintage crimped edge card is lovely, thank you for the thoughtful swap! 💙
Comment: Thanks for the cool museum PC 😋 I did see the new Star Trek movie while at Comic-con and it was very fun but I think they should let Spock be captain if Kirk keeps wrecking the Enterprise 😜
Comment: Cool photo! Hopefully you've had a few more cooler days. It is cooling down here in Denver, were mostly on the 80s and low 90s but we're getting a few overcast days in the 70s mixed in. Really nice!
Comment: Thank you for the "odd" postcard! I agree that the colors are beautiful. The door in the woods, while odd, reminds me of a book I read recently, but I can't remember which book. It's great, though! Thank you for sharing! :-)
Comment: Marinda, the illustration from the "Guess How Much I Love You" book is one of my favorites from one of my favorite children's books. Unfortunately, it was not published when I was reading aloud to my kids. I haven't found a copy yet at 1/2 Price Books, but I know I will. They have a zillion books at amazing prices. Hope you are having a good weekend!
Comment: Thank you for the cheery, whimsical typography Christmas card, chick and celestial stickers, and warm thoughts, Marinda! I would love cooler, even sweater weather :) Hope you are having a good week!
Comment: Hi Marinda! I received your card today! Thanks for the interesting stingray card. I used to see them every so often when I visited the beach in Florida. There are signs telling the swimmers to shuffle their feet so they don't surprise the rays! :-) Happy Swapping! Valerie
Comment: Hello Marinda! Your card was very nice! These are the kinds of cards that I would really like to collect and pin :) Thank you for this! I hope you can pray for me, for my health restoration :) Thank you and God bless!
Comment: Marinda thank you so much for the beautiful selection of things I love the baby in butterfly costume I shall treasure it because my daughter is married to a Korean and I am dreaming of a grand baby like this :) I love the notecard and the stickers with the butterflies
Comment: Hi Marinda! I don't envy your 120 degree heat. It is hot and muggy here - just the good ol' summertime! :-) Thanks for the nice card and the note. I like the extra little card, too! Happy Swapping! Stay cool! Valerie
Comment: Hi Mirinda ! Your "snail" postcard arrived today. well yesterday since it is after midnight now. How clever you were to create a beautiful card for a snail shape and then all the snail stickers. I LOVED the color theme too! That was an old postcard as i saw the postage of 6 cents! What a good choice in how to use a postcard! Thank you! We are having cooler weather than you probably are having! Bye for now!
Comment: Thanks for the pretty postcard and it is hot here, too. I wish it would rain just enough to cool things off this 90 degree heat is not for me that poor witches brass bra is gonna melt to her boobies (that's a saying I made up) In winter time, I say its colder than a witches titty in a brass bra LOL (hope you don't find that offensive)!!
Comment: Thank you for the smiles today. What a fun cheerful card and the verse you chose is a blessing. I have it by my computer as a reminder when things seem to be going wrong. I pray you and your family have a wonderful summer in spite of AZ heat. Hugs
Comment: Thank you for the notecard. Sounds like you had a lovely Memorial Day weekend! I was very pleased with the chocolate Washi tape and vintage sticker on your envelope! I salvaged them for reuse! ;)
Comment: Thank you so much for your nice notecards and that big notecard full of text! It's been hot here in Finland too, but now it's getting colder again. Like normal June weather is soon here, because June is often quite cold and wet.
Comment: Hi Marinda thanks for the postcard having a bridge on it! What i liked about it was the fact that my father who lived out here in Oregon also worked for the Army Corps of Engineers. So i really enjoyed the Chicago River Locks. Have seen Locks with my father here. Thank you for the interesting postcard. It was shot at night! Kool!
Comment: I love lighthouses, as well. Though I grew up on the ocean, there were no lighthouses near by. I have a goal to see all the lighthouses in Wisconsin - on Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. I've seen quite a few but still a long way to go.
Comment: Hi Marinda! Thanks for the great card and, yes I have been know to be guilty of writing Happy Mail instead of what I SHOULD be doing, but hey, Happy Mail is important too! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you very much for the delicious recipe card of Key Lime Pie :)) I've never eat this particular pie before but since I love pie, I think I will like it when I get to try ;) Great stamps too!~
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful lutenist card and lovely washi and stickers, Marinda! I agree that it looks more like she's contemplating or inspecting it :) It reminded me of both fondly listening to Dame Emma Kirkby singing along to Anthony Rooley on lute in my undergraduate studies and the final scene of Jim Jarmusch's Only Lovers Left Alive in which Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton as vampires Adam and Eve procure a lute in Tangier :) Hope you're having a good weekend!
Comment: Thanks for your PC and Hurray to Wikipedia ;-)
I also search for information that way.
I remember my roller skates when I was about 9 years old: with red leather bands to put around your shoes or boots. And rubber caps in front for braking.
I was pretty good at it, but not on the day I fell on my knees....with my new trousers.....
Comment: Marinda ~ Good to see you at my mailbox again :-) I agree that REL is definitely 'starchy' looking . . . quite the formal photo. Hope to see you in more swaps in the future and thanks again for the 'starchy' PC ~~
