Comment: This was hilarious. I laughed so hard my son asked what I was laughing about and so I told him. He asked me "Did the dog out the bone back? Maybe the dog thinks her purse us a bone bag". Thanks for the laugh.
Comment: Thanks so much for sharing the contents of your bag! Ours is pretty similar, I have a whole lot of cords, cables, and cosmetics in mine too! The difference is... all of my things went back in my bag... even the junk! :)))
Comment: I LOVE YOUR PURSE!! It Does Not look Like a grandmas couch!! I was think like a Golden Brown striped gingham thing!! Like my Papa Had!! HAHA!!
I also LOVED how much you fit in such a TINY purse AND your HUMOR!! Very cute Swap!!
Comment: Thank you so much for the cute card and notepad. I have a neighbor that is frustrating sometimes too! It's the worst when you have to be awake early for work the next day! -_- I hope it gets better for you <3
Comment: Thank you for sharing your Netflix faves and the show you are looking forward to. I have Santa Clarita Diet on my list of things to watch. It's been on there for a while. The PC you sent (Portland Zombie Apocalypse) is so awesome! I love your handwriting btw. It's so dang neat!
Comment: Hello Kris and thank you for your lovely note! Your handwriting is mesmerizing! I'm originally from NJ so I know well the weather you've described! I hope you had a terrific Bday, that you got to see the Blood Moon and that they convicted the right guy! Oh! And the extra 1 cent stamp was an attractive addition to your envie!
Comment: I got your letter today! I'm with you, I'm giving up on birthdays. I dont want to turn 43 this year. I bet you will have fun at the aquarium this year! You can shovel snow in Converse, just may land on your tukus more than you want lmao!
Comment: Thanks for your Black Friday story. It was very close to ours.. right to the Saturday part.
My daughter and her husband went to go to three stores, not particularly for B.F. but ones they like and don't have where they live. They did the first and then came back home. My wife and I were perfectly happy here, watching our granddaughter. :-)
Comment: Thanks so much for re-sending. I learned two new phobias! I love learning all the different phobias, though the only one I've suffered myself was agoraphobia. I love the lettering you did on this, and your answers are SUPER interesting! Thanks so much for sharing!
Comment: Your handwriting deserves its own font name. Perhaps mermaidery? Enjoyed your journal style letter. I got your swap a couple days ago but silly I me thought I could figure out the puzzle on the last page. Haha. I refuse to cheat so it will be like those New York Times crossword puzzles for me till I figure it out. Thank you for joining this swap. It was nice to write stream of thought.
Comment: Hi Kris! I loved your letter! Your printing is amazing! I'm so much like you, falling in the snow, and my Mini-Schnauzer, Oliver, HATES his coat! We're doing boots to avoid snowball paws this winter. I'm sure he'll be thrilled!😊 I crochet simple patterns Want to make some cute mug rugs this winter. I've done hats, fingerless gloves, and a blanket that weighed a zillion pounds. Should have had an open weave pattern.😊 Love granny squares! Julie
Comment: I got your card... I didn't want to open it, the envelope was so pretty! But I did open it, and I thank you so much for the lovely card and the extra lists. Can't wait to hang the card up in my kitchen! Happy Holidays!
Comment: Fun letter. Poor pup! I totally understand how he feels. I love this time of year but I've been hiding under the covers since we hit the 30's this last weekend. We went from 80s to 40s. I think mother nature forgot a range in there Ha! I hope you've got some book reading time. :)
Comment: Absolutely gorgeous photography! Wow! I love your Golf too, I had a (nowhere near as nice lol Golf 3 and it was my favorite...) Your neighbourhood is amazing and so bright and colorful! Thank you for showing me around!
Comment: Thank you for the note and goodies. I call them fire flies too. We don't have them out here but I have seen them before. I was staying with my sister-in-law in NY for a few months and they were amazing. First time I had ever seen them. I hope they don't vanish :(
Comment: Wow! Amazing pictures, I'm truly blown away girl! Loved to spend some summer days with you and going on a tour around your neighborhood. The blue bridge picture was my favorite, I just loved the colors and idk, it really spoke to me and loved reading what it means to you. And well, every picture with the ocean was amazing too, and the car! OMG gorgeous! You're an amazing photographer and Bugsy looks so happy in the sun! Thanks for taking me on such a fun tour!
Comment: Oh my!! Bugsy and Lady are fabulous!! Bugsy is quite the character! I’m in love with her, lol!! Her rain coat. That is about the cutest thing ever! And what joy on her face as she relaxes in the sun. Every dog should be so loved!! I’ve never had a bird as a pet but I love them. Yours is a pretty one! Thanks so much for sharing - I loved reading about them and of course seeing the photos!!!! xxx
Comment: OMG!! Bugsy is one of the cutest babies I've ever seen!! ♥♥ I am in love! If you have an IG please add me (link on my page) and you can see my baby Bronson.
Lady is also a cutie! Thank you so much for a swap that really has made my day!! xoxox♥
Response: I will def. check you out! Bug has her own IG - BugMeetsWorld - if you want to check it out. :D Thanks for the heart!
Comment: What a cutie patootie your Bugsy is! The picture of her in her rain coat is just too much! And Lady is fabulous!
I also thought I would never be a tiny dog person, but then we saw the cutest, sweetest little Chihuahua at the rescue and fell in love. She was 10 when we adopted her and was blind, deaf, and had Cushings disease. We only had her for a year before she passed, but she made such a big impact on us for being such a little dog. Even though she couldn't see or hear, her nose worked just fine. She always, 100% of the time, knew when we had french fries in the house, lol
Comment: Thanks for sharing your photo's. It looks like your dog was still unhappy, not because of the raincoat, but maybe because it was still raining. She looks freaking cute though, in that raincoat.
Comment: I have never experienced ghosts, but wrote an article once about a haunted house. The stories the residents told convinced me! I also never realized Aquarius (which I am) was not a water sign!
Comment: Ugh! Teenagers make me feel like an old lady too! Hahaha But it’s always nice to hear when people can turn what would be a sh*tty day into a fun adventure! The only downside for me now is I’m craving Japanese! Haha (ps - I LOVE the colors of the pen[or marker?] you used for this soooo much! You got me wanting to up my writing game!)
Comment: Thank you for the notecard! I love summer in Iowa! I am soooo sick of snow and I cant wait to go to fairs and festivals and vender shows this year.
P.S. your handwriting is beautiful! I love the purple gel pen!
Comment: Lol @ the 5lb gummi bear bag internal dilemma you were having! :D The sugar-free Haribo ones cause gastrointestinal trauma haha - one time the BF ordered a bag and LORD I ate like a handful and had a pretty interesting evening :s lol! Would be a hilarious carry-on accessory though :P
Comment: I loved your answers to these questions, Kris. But I have a question for you in turn: You live with your MR? What's MR mean? (Mister? Or something else?) Also, you live with a budgie, a dog, a frog, and "Gary the hitchhiking sea snail who lives in a palace by himself"?! I would LOVE to see pictures of your menagerie of animals! :-) Thank you so much for sharing! :-) <3
Comment: You have a way with words. You should be a writer. I enjoyed reading about your day. Hope it's warmer now! I do have the rain today however. I am finding things exactly the same since Steve is out of town except I do have power. I hear every noise and creak. I do crafts and spend most evenings downstairs which adds to it lol. My lump is buried under her blanket sucking her moose she's had since she was 9 weeks lol. Thanks so much for the card and list paper.
Comment: That's a great picture of an aching back. I know how that feels! None of the Flickr photos showed up. It said they weren't available. Was curious to see what the 15" of snow you experienced looked like. The forecast here calls for 8-10" of snow this weekend. Uggh! I'm ready for Spring to come!!
Response: Oh no, I'll resend the photos right away. I was not a fan of the 15 inches of snow, lol.
Comment: I looooovvvvvved your letter! I'm sweary too :) hehehe. I loved the fountain pen - makes me want to try 'em out myself! Also, LOVED the drawing to help me understand the story! Thank you so much for joining - I really enjoyed this swap with you :)
Response: I enjoy writing rambling letters. If you ever wanted to swap again, I'd be all for it. :)
Comment: See I would use invisible ink to write down all the "secret" family recipes. and my brothers kids will wonder why auntie has a blank notebook in her kitchen covered in the dropping a well loved and used cookbook gets.
Comment: Haha, my sister's staffy absolutely refuses to walk in boots. He puts on the breaks like his legs stopped working XD I don't like being out in the snow either but I love Christmas lights and snow, so pretty! We've only getting real snow these days, the whole Christmas time was kinda gloomy and wet, ugh :( I don't know about Bioshock except the name but yay for getting something you wanted as a present :D thanks for sharing, have a great 2018 :)
Comment: Card arrived just in time for Christmas! My week was busy though, so just now finding some breathing room to finish up on my last 2 ratings for 2017! May this year bring much joy to you and your family! Happy Holidays!
Comment: Thanks for the fun answers to read. I like Christopher Moore too, I just ordered a book for my hubby to read, the love Nun. He has never read anything. I hope your dad has good news. Thanks for participating in this swap.
Comment: Loved reading your currently message. I feel like I know you a little already. If you're looking for a letter to write, I'd be happy to receive one & write back, too. Happy New Year! Try to stay warm.
Comment: Thank you for your nice letter. What a picture your little dog is - with boots on in the snow! Love it. I bet the scotties will look adorable with the scarves. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Comment: Kris thank you for the Christmas card and nice note. It brought back memories when the street that I lived on did the same thing. I even won 3rd place for my gingerbread lit home of a city of 30,000. What an honor that was. Shirley
Comment: Sorry for the lateish rating, I've been busy getting to know my new niece and I took a short vacation to see a concert this weekend but here it is, finally :D I LOVE sky pictures and the ones you send... my my *___* The fall leaves are gorgeous, we call it 'ruska' here in Finland and it's one of my favorite words in existence :) Cute car too ;)
Comment: What a wonderful letter. I wish I could use a fountain pen. You are so artistic with the frog you drew me. I placed it on my dresser as a memory. Thank you. You gotta tell me what if anything happened on Clinton Rd. LOL I also placed your letter on my pile to write back (i sometimes takes months sorry) .Have a great Fall Season
Comment: Thank you for sharing these pictures, Issy! They were fantastic! You have a great camera and a great eye for taking photos. :-) That shot you got of the RedBull Global Rallycross is AMAZING! :-) Thank you so much for sharing!
Comment: Awww...I love your letter style SO much! I wish I had thought to do mine that way. Beyond that, your feather/ fur-babies are so cute! I've never had a "mating pair" of pets before - that sounds interesting! Funny thing, I once had a pet frog named Herman as well. ha ha!
Comment: I love love LOVE the ATCs you created for this swap!!! I'm so in love with your style and beyond happy that I now own so many of your pieces - and for one of my favorite shows! :) You even happened to choose my favorite version of PB (with the old tee). <3 Thank you so very much for a beautiful swap.
Comment: Thanks a lot for your pictures! HOW CUTE IS THIS DOG?! Such a gorgeous snap ♥ And I agree, I am no snow-person as well, so I completley understand how you feel about it.
And yay to the VW ☺ As a german it makes me kinda proud that you like it so much ♥ hihi
Comment: I am so sorry for my delay. I've been checking my messages at work often and plainly just forgot to rate you but I will most definitely be writing you back :) I loved your letter and it makes my day every time I get happy mail. I am so sorry if I had upset you.
Comment: Well, you made me smile after a very long and difficult Monday. I am so thrilled you did Jack for me, I LOVE IT!!! What a fabulous and professional artist you are. What a grand card to add to my Halloween collection. Thank you. Hugs, Mona
Comment: Chicken Boo!! Are you kidding me? The ATC you made me is so incredibly cute & awesome. Thank you for sending something you knew I would love. You made my day:) You're the best!!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I like getting you as my partner cuz I even after the orca - and I think I made you the mayor from nightmare before christmas / jackolantern - I still find things in your profile that I get excited to draw. I hope I get you as a partner again one day because I still have ideas for you, lol.
Comment: Oh my gosh, when I commented on his atc on Flickr I did not know it was for me! I'm so honored to get this atc I love it so much thank you! It's always awesome to get to make atcs from things we adore!
Comment: Thanks for the fun answers! I totally got where you were coming from with your answers, as I answered in a similar fashion. Especially the being poor with a job you love. It's so hard to work somewhere that you are miserable. Happy 2017 to you!
Comment: Truly enjoyed your responses! Meeting someone online isn't always easy, but it worked for me! My hub & I actually met through a dating site (free, we were both cheap, lol), married after knowing each other a couple of months & stayed married for 25 wonderful years. He very recently died. I'm ok though. Sometimes it's horrible, then I remember our crazy & fun life and all the places our journey took us. I even lol at times thinking about 'us'! I wish you & your love as much happiness as I shared with my hub!
Comment: Bugsy is so, so sweet! I never had quite a little pup as that. Growing up, my grandmother had Scotties and my mom had a couple of fox terriers, and that's about as little as we got. But my mom did have a few rat terriers when she was little, and those are pretty comparable to Jack Russells. Bugsy looks like she loves to be the center of attention. She's so lucky to have you! Thanks for sharing! And you never know - many little ones don't know what to make of the snow, but she just might like it!
Comment: Hey Issy, thanks for the awesome ATCs 😋😠Boobs and Hellboy are two things I can never get enough of, they look amazing. This was a super fun swap (I drew boobs in mine too). It really made my boring and mildly crappy day much brighter, thank you 😊. Now if I could just manage to get an actual date this year. Have a wonderful day, Nathan 💙
Comment: Wonderful atc! The colors are so cool... Thanks for checking my "likes". Or do we like the same things collecting sea glass is getting harder I think... Too much plastic i guess... Your design is most pleasing .. I am still smiling thanks so much!
Response: I'm so happy that you liked it. I collected sea glass when I was a kid, and saw that it was one of your likes. It was fun trying to figure out how to turn sea glass into an ATC. I agree that its getting hard to find it. Way too much plastic! Thank you for the heart. :D
Comment: LOL, I love it amounst a bed of pretty flowers. And sad to admit I don't think I've heard that one but can probably find many uses, LOL. Thanks for the cute card and arming me with a new word!
Response: I'm glad I armed you with a new word. I learned it when I was a teen from my international pals and Bridget Jones diary, lol. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!
The orca ATC you drew is incredible. I am so happy to receive it. You are a wonderful, talented, awesome artist. Thank you for joing my swap & for the amazing ATC I will cherish forever!
Response: I am so glad that you like it! It was fun trying something new! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for sharing. And I agree, it is really hard to find a 24 hours shop here. I think most cities don´t have one. At least I don´t know one. I only know shops which are opend from 6 or 7 am to 12 am. And that is really long for a German shop.
Comment: Sorry for the late rate - I really thought I'd already done it! I love your photos and story of your life. Your drawings and crocheted doll are nice, and your budgie Ladybird is sweet! I had a rescue budgie once with almost her same coloring, but with a deformed wing. He lived quite a long while, too, but one day my cat knocked his cage off it's perch. The cage busted open, and the cat didn't try to kill that bird or it's companion. I think it just scared it to death. We found it's companion, a green and yellow budgie, hiding inside the upholstery of one of our chairs! The Edison museum is cool, and that sunset is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
Comment: This is literally one of the best ATC's I've ever received. The Panda Pug looks so much like a modern looking pound puppy! Gahh... SOOO FRIGGEN ADORABLE! I'm going to frame this card. Thank you so much :)
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I was trying to figure out how to make it a panda shark, but that idea fell flat, lol. I didn't even notice the pound puppy-ness of it til you mentioned it, and now that I look. OMGOSH YES! This rating made my day. :D Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Your email was such a joy to read! I love the knitted toys and Lady is such a cutie, what a lucky find :) haha, also awesome to see another TV show addict, I was afraid to write down all my faves so I had to trim it down a bit XD also, what a cute way to propose, you found a good one!
Response: Lady says thank you! (Okay, really shes just pecking at the screen) I am quite the TV show addict. I tend to like shows that have already ended so I can binge watch it. I may have a problem, lol.
Comment: WOW! The ATC you sent is amazing!!! It is one of the best ATC's I have ever received since I have been on Swapbot. I am totally in love with it & have a smile from ear to ear. You are a truly talented artist. I just can't say enough about it & how happy I am to receive it. Thank you soooooooo much :)
Response: I'd give your rating a heart if I could. Thank you! I am so thrilled you like it. :D Thank you so much for the heart.
Comment: OMG I love your Tuxedo Mask! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Awesome BG too! Thanks so much for the extra Chibiusa card too! Its super cute XD I would give you a bucket of hearts if I could. ps. He really is harder to draw than I thought he would be. Ive sketched out 4 cards so far and I dont like any of them -_-;;
Comment: Getting bored of your cards is too funny. You do amazing work and I love everything Ive gotten. I love how you did your Marci card. I had a hard time deciding between young marci and the one I did too.
Comment: Hello Issy & thank you for the beautiful hand drawn face you made for me for the swap! Eyes - details are lovely! Loved that you thought of "Kiki's Delivery Service" - one of my favorite anime films. Great art swap!
Comment: I LOVE Doug! I had a key chain hanging on my desk for 20 years! Everyone commented on it or wanted it! I retired two years ago and it is probably in a box but now I have my own ATC! Great job and fun swap for sure!
Comment: As much as I giggled and enjoyed the idea of Sam and Dean as you described them, I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Howl and Sophie ATC you made for me!!! It's fantastic and a super cool addition to my "special ATCs" collection. I love Studio Ghibli! Thank you SO much!!! <3
Response: I can still see it in my head and I'm going to eventually get them in ATC form... eventually, lol. I'm so glad you liked the Howl ATC. I'm a huge Studio Ghibli fan too and that was such a blast to make! Tedious and challenging, but VERY fun. Thank you so much for the heart. :D
Comment: WOW: I'm unemployed and going through a divorce... I really needed the song lyic you sent!!! I love it!!! As a songwriter, the melody is what catches your attention... the lyric is what makes you stay!!! Thank you for a job well done!
Comment: OMG a pixie!!! Some small part of me wonders if you cheated...I love it! <3
Response: LOL I actually didn't. I thought you may think I did though when I saw your name. haha. I had one made and i misplaced it. I was watching the movie EPIC when I was putting the swaps together and realized I had to remake one to send... Epic played a big part in that ATC . I hadn't even clicked on my "send to" partner link yet. I had no idea and had a laugh over it when I saw your name and what i had made. ATC Fate!
Comment: i can not draw to save my life lol so i totally commend and envy anyone who can especially someone like you who does it so beautifully. thank you for a wonderful atc, and for joining in this swap with me. i hope you will continue in the collection with me!! thank you very much!
Comment: VERY COOL OOGIE! Of course I saw it on Instagram already and I love it! (:
Response: Looking at any of my flickr, wordpress, or instagram may be bad for your swapping health.. or at least just ruin the surprises. lol. I'm very glad you liked it. I really had fun making that one. Oogie is one of my faves. I drew the ATC off a really awesome big oogie snowglobe that I have - I just couldn't make the ATC rain bats or play halloweentown like the snowglob did. I really wanted to though. lol.
Comment: Thank you very much for the very sweet atc. You are a good artist! I love how you did the background. May I ask you what technique you used?
Response: Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. I used a mixture of colored pencils, marker, and acrylic paints - and I think there was some oil pastel in there - maybe? lol. I used a sponge brush for a good amount of it as well.
Comment: Thanks for the extras, and I loved the stories! The light thing freaked me out, haha.
Response: Glad you liked! Thanks for the heart. :] We actually saw the light again last night - both of us at the same time. I was covering the bird and he was feeding the fish and we both turned towards the kitchen at the same time and ZIP! little white ball of light straight from the floor to the ceiling. I just said "goodnight ghost" and shut our bedroom door. I cant sleep with it open... Ill just stay up watching for more light. haha. Am going to post the ghostly photo for you in your comments.
Comment: Your letter came and is very cool! I wish I had thought to do something along the lines that you did... I will for sure do it in the future though :) I enjoyed reading your responses and thank you for sending so quickly. I also liked your extras :)
Comment: What a wonderful handmade postcard! I've heard that song a million times but I don't think I've ever really visualized the lyrics. The PC turned out so lovely - thanks for choosing that song! :D
Comment: My guess is... that you hugged a full grown tiger :-) if not, that would be cool.... WOW!!!... that is even cooler... In my first 2 lies and a truth swap a women had that as a lie and I picked it as a truth because I have seen weird things. My grandmothers place is haunted. I really wanted to pick that as your truth... Sooo cool :-) I love hearing about the unusual... I'm adding a heart :-)
Response: I actually live in a haunted house. ^_^ Its my childhood home and odd things happen in this house all the time. You hear talking and walking, things open, things move, people have sworn theyve seen a little old lady walking down our hallway. My friends father actually lived in my house till he was 15 ( we didnt know that till he came to pick him up one day) and said weird things happened to him and his family here all the time. My camera also took a photo while I was asleep, and it looks like a person in a dress is walking through my bedroom door. ------------- I really would like to hug a tiger though. Ive been actively searching for a place I can do that.
Comment: Loved your card, now please tell
me which is the truth ! This is a hard one!

Comment: Thanks for the postcard! When I had 7/16th's I always ordered the wrong size. I could never remember it. Sometimes I would order 5/8ths and then once I told my husband I was at 3/4ths. So I had all these awesome plugs that couldn't be returned and that didn't fit. I'm now into the 5/8ths tho. I can't decide if I want to go bigger or not.
Comment: Thanks :) I learned to sew when I was really young but didn't get much into it till I worked at JoAnns craft and fabric store and saw all the pretty fabrics. I love the cuties you have in your shop. I tried to pick up crocheting once and it wasn't my thing.
Comment: Hi Issy! Thank you so much for your wonderful email. I loved looking through your photographs - the snow and Valentine's cookies were definitely my favourites! I also checked out your Etsy store - the Finn the Human amigurumi is so cute! <3 x
Comment: Issy! I really liked your little dinosaurs..; and the Coralie doll. That movie sure was beautiful but scary! I am not one to crochet, but I see that it can be fun and you do produce some charming things, maybe I should give it a go... who knows?!Thank you for the pictures of the acquarium are incredible!
Comment: Wow, I loved your email! I'm so jealous of your crochet skills. I wanted to learn but the mumbo-jumbo directions confuse me. My step-mom taught me a long time ago, even giving me a beginners book. I know how to single crochet, after that I get lost! I also understand your health predicament. I have a friend who has suffered from chrones. This past year she underwent a serious life-changing surgery and is doing much better. Many days she spent confined to a bed herself. I wish you the best and just love your craft, thank you so much for sharing with me! If you ever wish to do a private swap I know that my boys would love one of your toys!
Comment: Well I got my sweet little pink, glittery owl today and I love her! She's a cutie. I'd be interested to see the items you based her on. Thank you so much, and thanks for passing along the extra pink ATC....love the weaving and those tiny tiny leaves. Great!
Comment: so cute! Funny thing I am a bottle red head and you also made it on my birthday!!! I love how you sent it in the card..
Response: Im a bottle redhead too! "bright copper" but Im shooting for "little mermaid red".. one day. YAY REDHEADS (real or not.. were still awesome. lol.) and happy birthday!! :D If I had realized that Id have put it in a birthday card! Hope you had a good birthday. :D
Comment: Wow, you are an excellent zentangler!! I'm so embarrassed about mine in comparison. I swear, every time I try another zentangle, I hate what I do and say I'm going to quit, but then I see things like yours and say Wow, I wanna keep trying! Thanks so much for the beautiful quadrant and for all the help with getting the pattern onto paper. :)
Comment: Lovely! What did you think of last night?!?
Response: I havent seen the new episode yet! :o The hurricane knocked out our internet and TV A FEW HOURS BEFORE TRUE BLOOD!! Just got them back tonight. EEEEEE. So excited that I can watch True Blood now! lol. I need to know what happened after the last episode ended with Sookie screaming RUN!!! (Plus, I can never get my fill of Erik Northman. I pretty much watched that episode 4 times while the TV was out. Thanks Tivo!)
Comment: Awesome map! I'd love to know more achieved the parchment look. Did you start with a brown bag?
Response: Nope, just some white cardstock. I took a single serve coffee bag and soaked the paper with it and then crumpled it up and baked it for a minute. Covering it with Matt Mod Podge and sanding it a little bit gave it as close to a leathery look as I could get a piece of cardstock. :D Thank you for the heart! :D
Comment: Thanks for your awesome answers! I really enjoyed reading them. It's weird because I was JUST reading recently about the Shades of Death Road sign and wishing I could steal one! Do you still have it?? Also, I had never heard of water marbling! I just looked it up and it's AWESOME! I keep a nocturnal schedule, too, because I don't have a job either but I'm trying to find one because I live alone and NEED the money. I would be nocturnal all the time if I could! Also, I LOVE "Float On!" Modest Mouse have a lot of good songs!
Response: I do still have it! Its in the attic at the moment. We have no where to hang it. But once we find a place that is suitable, you bet your behind I'll be hanging it up! lol.
Water marbling is so dang fun. The more I do it, the better I get, and that just makes me want to do it more. Thank you for the heart. :D
Comment: Really nice drawing, I like it. I couldn't draw to save my life ;-). I like how you've explained all the steps with a bit of humor and added many pictures. Good job, don't we feel proud of what we've accomplished?
Comment: A Louis CK postcard? made just for moi?! Are you kidding me!? You made my day!
Response: I'm glad you liked it. :) I had fun making it. I love Louis CK. He's one of the funniest, imo. BF and I went to see him last year and have been itching to catch another one of his shows! Thank you for the heart! ^_^ [ PC : http://flic.kr/p/aa5LGu ]
Comment: I drive through Oklahoma City when we drive from MN to Dallas and back but we've never stopped to see the Cowboy Hall of Fame. We've driven by the Hockey Hall of Fame here in MN without stopping too. I've been to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.
Comment: I imagine you know what my poker hand is. :P Go Team Atlantic City!
Response: Yup! I'll mark it down in pen now that I know you've gotten it. :D AC is only about an hour drive from me. I love to go down there and just hang out for a day or two... back when they still gave me free rooms anyway! Havent gotten one in about a year. Theres a little place called the Irish Pub down in AC that im itching to go to.. Food is soooo yummy and cheap. Perfect for grabbing a bite to eat before the ride home. yum.
Comment: Thank you for the great postcard! I also LOVE True Blood. I'm catching up tonight on season 4! Happy Swapping!
Response: I watch each new episode the day its on. I can't not watch them. I get so excited! I watched the first episode of the first season not too long ago, and was hooked. Then I dragged my boyfriend along for the ride. Now we "gossip" about the show like two old hens.. " oh what is Sookie getting herself into now.. " "Sookie should just give Eric a chance" .. " I dont like mean old Mr.Bill Compton" *cluck cluck cluck* I do adore that my guy loves the show as much as I do. I did NOT see that happening! lol. I started the first Sookie Stackhouse book today. Im shocked to see that Im already on the 6th chapter, Gran has passed, and there is not one single mention of Tara! I like that there is more sub-character interaction in the show. I find Lafayette hilarious with his "take no guff" attitude. I dont like season 4 Lafayette with hair though! Hair has to go!

Comment: Wow - you went all out on this! Great details, love the burned edges and the blood spatters!
Response: I'm glad you like it.. and im double glad it actually made it through the mail! I was so worried that something that looked like that wouldn't make it. I loved making that. I hope another gets hosted along the way!
(PC -> http://flic.kr/p/a97B3D , http://flic.kr/p/a99tKA )
Comment: I swear I rated you for this, but the 'bot doesn't show it! Anyhoo, I applaud your creative cutting, I tried and failed at that the first time! :OD
Response: Oh, I dislike when swap-bot doesnt save the ratings. Then you think youre going crazy because you could have sworn you rated someone! I wanted to do something like a puzzle, but my scissors aren't up to par. I wish the cuts came out smoother, lol. Thanks for the heart :D
Comment: GORGEOUS shot! I absolutely love it! And what did you use to do the red color of the barn only? I don;t alter/enhance any of my images (i'm tech challenged as it is!) but LOVE this handcolored effect and could see myself using it alot! Thanks so much for sharing! :)
Response: Im so glad you liked it. :D I took the photo in color and then desaturated everything but the red barn. It took quite a bit of time, but I loved the way it looked.
Comment: Thanks for including a pic of Koda, makes me miss my sisters little guy. And there is a restaurant here in town that has THE BEST raisin bread and they serve it toasted and buttered. I wish I could teleport you some.
Response: Oh yum! I wish you could teleport me some too. Sounds so delicious!
Comment: So.. is your mouth blue or not?! Honestly loved the email, very amusing to read :)
Response: LOL it was blue.. FOR HOURS. :[ My guy came home, first thing he said was " you had cake, didnt you." My lips were stained blue on the ridge of them and it just gave me away. darn yummy cake with the horrible icing! lol Thanks for the heart. :D
Comment: Thanks! For some reason, I've just never been able to get into Christopher Moore. Thanks for sharing! I love books too!!
Response: I understand, he's not for everyone. :D I just can't seem to put his books down! Boyfriend even got one signed for me, which was the best thing Ive ever gotten from a boyfriend. lol. I need to get a bigger place so I can have my own library. e-books are GREAT because you can have so many and they take up no room... but they will NEVER compare to the look, feel , smell, and weight of a real book in my hand.
Comment: Gorgeous photo! If I could trade places with any person, I would choose a character from a Jane Austen novel. Maybe Elizabeth Bennett... but only for a while - just long enough to enjoy myself. I appreciate my modern feminine freedom too much!
Comment: If I could be in any movie it would so obviously be one of the Harry Potter films. I am a gigantic dork for anything Harry Potter and thought he plays a "kid" the actor playing Ron is an adult in real life and I think he's just lovely. Therefore, I'd play a new love interest that would steal him from Hermione. I would also turn Bellatrix LeStrange into a good witch - because she is fantastic! (I am a bigger nerd than I admit!)
Comment: I am sooo sorry! Your envelope got lost in the mess on my desk, and never got rated! And it is beautiful! No worries about being somewhat of a novice -- just worry about a recipient who didn't follow through! I do have a sign in my kitchen that says "A creative mess is better than tidy idleness" but this time a little tidiness would have been a good thing. Again, my most sincere apologies, and happy swapping!
Comment: Moore and Gaiman are two of my favorite authors <3
Response: I looove Moore. I'm hoping I love Gaiman too! Since you've prob. read those books since you <3 both of them... I can send you another book that isn't either of them if you'd like. Just message me. :D (ps. always so happy to find another Moore fan! I rarely run into them. I love Moore so much my boyfriend ordered the special edition of lamb, and then had it signed by Moore for my birthday. It even says happy birthday! I was so excited when I opened it.. and even more excited when I realized it was signed! haha. )
Comment: Great minds ... I was going to do a NES controller too but now I'll go with one of my back up plans ;) Yours rocks! I love the little heart in the cord :)
Response: Thanks! I cant bring myself to get up and scrub it off even though it's not the best drawing. I just keep looking at it going MAN.. I REALLY WANT THIS.. FOR REAL... but drawn better. haha. Thanks for the heart! and for being my 700th 5!!! :D
Comment: I received the altered matchbox :)
thank you! I have never made an altered matchbox before nor had I ever received one so this made me happy +
I love lucky stars, theyre so much fun to make but I had forgotten how to make them so your drawn directions really helped :)
Response: Im really glad youve made them before.. Cuz not only do i suck at crafts. I suck at directions. I remember writing them and going " man, she is going to be so lost..." lol! Im so very glad you like it. :D Ive never made one or gotten one so making one without ever actually seeing one was quite interesting. But, I had a fun making it.. It was a new adventure.. where I managed to glue myself to my desk and lots of paper! Hope your wish comes true =] Thank you for the heart! <3
Comment: Thank you for the awesome answers. You sure put a lot of thought and details. I am jealous that you live so close to the beach. I love, love water:-) Have a wonderful day.
Response: Thank you for the re-rate. :D I loooove living so close to the beach. I couldn't imagine living somewhere where I cant just scuttle on over to it whenever I wanted. Thank you so much for the heart. :D
Comment: Gorgeous photo, I'm a sucker for that selective color technique. Your photo strikes me as something I would not take myself, but then someone else does, and I realize I was missing out on an awesome shot. (Does that make sense?) Anyway, thanks! Hope you had a great time camping!
Response: That makes perfect sense. :D Very glad you liked the PC/My photo. I had an absolute blast camping, thank you. And thank you for the heart! :]
Comment: LOVE the PC! I'm going to re-read the series before Eclipse comes out too. :)
Response: I just started it a the other day. I know by literary standards, the series are not classics or amazingly written, but I love how I can fall into them every single time I read them. I just can't wait for the movie! Thank you for the heart. :D
Comment: Haha! Love the card, Team Edward forever!! I am going to re-read Eclipse & Breaking Dawn this summer :) I read them so long ago, need a refresher, lol!! Looking forward to June 30 for Eclipse movie, too!! ~Cindy
Response: I just started rereading the series as well! I got them in e-book format to carry around with me on my iTouch... and to think, I was seriously against twilight till after the first movie came out.. like 6 months after.. now im a big twilight nerd. lol. Thank you for the heart :D
Comment: It was very funny :p
Thanks for doing it in our 3 languages :)
It was great :)
Response: Im sure I butchered it all really bad. lol. I told one of my other partners I was 27 one year olds. lol! eep. I officially can't travel to any country where they don't speak some form of English! lol. Happy it was entertaining at least. :D
Comment: Hahahahhaha you're e-mail is the most hilarious e-mail I have ever read! :D It's so cool! Thank you! :D You told me you are 27 one-years-olds hahaha.
Response: Sometimes I seem like I'm 27 one year olds all rolled up into one!! LOL. I knew I was going to butcher it! I was just hoping the translator didnt say something mean about someones mom or something without me knowing it. At least you got a kick out of reading it! lol. =]
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard! We've had lots of rain in PA as well, hopefully we get some sunshine soon! I hope you enjoy your vacation to Cape May. I've never been, but I hear it's nice!
Response: Cape May was very pretty.. lots of cute little shops with all sorts of nifty things! it thankfully stopped raining the day after we go there so we got one nice day of going to the zoo and walking the 'main street' with all the shops.. thennnn it rained again. Oh well. We got one day to do things! Hope the rain let up in PA too!
Comment: I love vintage-looking shoes too, and yours are super-cute! I love the red polka-dot one!! I've made a pact to not wear high heels anymore (because of the feet-killing aspect), but I still like to lust after heels! ^_^
Response: oooh the feet killing aspect is so there with these shoes. lol. I dont wear them often. Mostly because I dont want to wear them out and because they hurt my feet. I have a few pairs that dont tho.. I wear them more then I should. Thanks for the heart! :D
Comment: Raoul: what Leary took down with him was the central illusion of a whole life-style that he helped create... a generation of permanent cripples, failed seekers, who never understood the essential old-mystic fallacy of the Acid Culture: the desperate assumption that somebody... or at least some force - is tending the light at the end of the tunnel.
////LOVED THE PC and you
Response: Sooo very glad you liked it! Not many people would. Thanks for the heart! :D
Comment: Thank you for re-sending and for sending an extra card and papers. You are amazing! I showed these cards to my mom and now she's crazy about zentangles. ;)
Response: Yay! you got them. I'm so sorry about the lengthy re-send - as everythings been hectic here. So very happy that you and your mom enjoyed them. I hope the first set turns up at some point as well!
THIS -- http://www.flickr.com/photos/issyfit/4317586278 ... and I think ... THIS ONE -- http://www.flickr.com/photos/issyfit/4316852315/ -- were your two originals if you'd like to see 'em. :D
Comment: Well I thought I rated, but I guess I got wrapped up in reading your journal! It was great and had a lot of fun realizing we have a lot in common. Thanks for sharing and I am sorry for your loss. :D
Response: Phew! So glad you got it. also really glad you enjoyed it. I had such a good time making it!! :D Thanks for the heart!
Comment: all the little guys made it!!! I loved the card.
Response: Horray! I was so worried. Then again, I used like 74m bonding glue that my dad used to stick corkboard to the wall. I'd be mad if they didnt! Glad you liked the card. I loved making it. I think Im going to make more sometime. They were so fun! Thank you for the heart! :D
Comment: I'm also seeing someone totally different than then normal "bad boy" that I'm usually hooked on and he is so nice to me sometimes it almost feels wierd but I am sure enjoying it! :) Thanks for sharing your answers.
Response: I know the feeling. :D It's a good one.
Thank you for the heart!! :D
Comment: Oh! Christopher Moore! I've been wanting to read more stuff by him... I've read Lamb and Fluke and loved both, so I can't wait to read this one! Stanza is the love of my life... makes not having an ebook reader easier to bear.
Response: Lamb and Fluke are great!! If you ever want more, I have every one of his books in e-book and would be glad to lend them to you. They're so funny. I have to start reading his newest one, Bite Me soooon!!
Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thanks so much for the post card. I am happy that so many people had great experiences, too.
Response: I love doing earth hour and I try to do it at least once a month, and I make it a point to turn most of the lights off. I try to only have one light on in the room I'm in. I usually turn it off if Im just watching TV or something, and I've even been known to shower by candle light!
Thank you for the heart! :D
Comment: It came! I was so excited to have it in my hands. I have only just opened it but can see you have made so much effort and I can't wait for the little one's bedtime to settle down and start reading. Thank you so much! x
Response: Wow!! That got there fast!! I'm so glad :) hope you enjoy it!
Comment: Thanks for the great postcarrd. I also love my Westie. She is a character also. Loves to go for walks and knows what time we go. Your swap friend, Linda
Response: Our Maggie loves her walks too.. but also loves to sniff, look at, and chase EVERYTHING she sees. lol. We're planning on taking her to a doggie beach to give the ocean another try with her. Matylda loved it.. Maggie was scared out of her mind.. but I think once she realizes it's nothing bad, she'll start to get used to it. Baby steps with her. She's very easily scared. We think she was beaten or kicked or something when she was very young. We've had her for almost two years and she still cowers in the corner when she thinks she's in trouble. Not as bad as she used to though. She gets lots and lots of love from everyone who comes in and out of this house. She's way to cute NOT to love! Can't imagine who wouldnt like her!
Comment: You live in what used to be like my old apartment ^_^ We had ferrets, a cat, mice, a bearded dragon, fire belly toads, an albino leopard gecko. It was amazing. I miss them all. I fell on very harsh times and my ex boyfriend still have the ones that are still living. Now I have a toddler so we haven't gotten any more pets because I wouldn't have the time I need to love them, but I know it is so wonderful living around so many awesome creatures :)
Response: The toads are awesome. You really dont have to do much more then feed them and make silly faces at them from time to time. Takes no time at all to clean them either. Awesome pets. lol.
Comment: Thanks for the cute pictures. I especially love Princess, I have a soft spot for calicos. I have found that most of them are kind of weird. Does she steal things? Every calico I've known has been a terrible thief.
Comment: Thanks for the spider PC. That is a really good picture. Also, thanks for the extra PCs. I'm sure they will come in handy.
Response: I'm glad it finally reached you! Ugh to them sending it back to me 2 or 3 times! I hope the extras do come in handy for another PC swap, or just as extras you send along to someone else. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: what a creepy spider! :) great shot! thanks for the fun postcard! i love the spiderwebs on the back too!
Response: I'm glad you liked it. :D If i could have found - or fit - more spider stuff on it, I would have. My boyfriend made me turn them over so he didnt have to see the picture while they were sitting on the table waiting to get sent out. lol. He hates that picture.
Comment: Wow, own a reptile store, you're pretty brave. lol
Thank you for sending your email so promptly.
Response: lol. Everyone says that. Growing up, we had an entire room lined with tanks.. and those tanks were full of snakes. I'd say we had about 20 at once, and over 50 in the course of my childhood. My favorites were our 13 foot boa and our hognosed snake. Now Im really into lizards and toads.. Trying to currently expand my gecko love to Tokays and L. Williamsi .(google them, if youd like. They're quite pretty.) I just may need a million dollars to feed them all lol!
Comment: i love these ATCs sooo much! you did a great job-- they look yummy enough to eat, LOL! hmm, guess i better get out the leftover mini candy canes instead, eh? thank you so much for another fantastic swap!!!
Response: I'm glad you liked them! I dont recommend trying to eat them lol, though I did use candy cane scented ink. But it prob. wore off by the time it reached you. Phooey! lol.
Comment: Thank you so much for the absolutely wonderful ATC's. I love how you incorporated my initial in the special one you made for me. I look forward to swapping with you in the future. Have a happy New Year.
Comment: I enjoyed your comments and pictures lots!
Thanks! The one I laughed out loud at was the "Failed Straw" one. Some people think I am nice and sweet, little do they know about my strange sense of humor at times! I have done a few zentangles. See my DeviantArt link on my profile if you'd like to check them out. :-)
Comment: Thank you so much for the great recipes! I most definately will be on the look out for the book you mentioned! I heat and cook by propane, so I am always trying to find recipes for the crockpot so as not to use up my propane.
Comment: WOW!!! thank you so much for the absolutely fabulous swap!!! i love these ATCs... the alien is adorable, and the one with snowflakes and the one with candy canes are fantastic! way above and beyond, i'd love to be able to give you a dozen hearts for all the effort you put into this swap :-) thank you, again!!!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it. :D I wanted to do something based on your profile. I thought, Alien would be so fun! My boyfriend was totally jealous if it. I'm so glad it got to you so quick, and all okay and you liked it! yay. :D
Comment: I couldn't help but giggle when I saw your return address. Your first name is one of my nicknames...I was so surprised! :) Great job on the transparent ATCs. You touched on two of my "likes"....flowers and Japanese culture. You were very sweet to send extras. I love your hand-made envie, and the hand-made SB note card is a cool addition. Thank you Issy!
Response: lol. My name is Kristen. Then it went to Krissy... Then got shortened again to issy. lol. I actually get called ISS now.. Lazy friends keep giving my nicknames nicknames! haha I'm glad you liked it! Im half japanese, and I thought cherry blossoms and the rising sun would be interesting to do on transparent things. I wish I was a better drawer! They were my first of that kind, so hopefully I'll get better. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the cool pc. Happy belated anniversary too. And BTW, you are not alone...video games rock! Right now I am addicted to those dumb Farm ones on Facebook. lol
Response: Thanks! Our Ann. was good. We actually bought each other the same video game.. so played that and went out to dinner. Omg, those farm games on facebook. I think I currently play 3 , but at one point I had no less then 5 going at once.. farmville, country story, fartown and barn buddies are the ones I can remember. lol. Horrible. My mother has to "farm" every night before she goes to bed. My father doesnt get it. We were driving in PA awhile ago, and all the corn was grown.. she said something along the lines of "look, he needs to farm too!"
Comment: I am sorry I didnt rate you sooner but I just found you in my spam folder I dont get many so dont check it often but guess need too know thanks for the swap loved your answers. I also have pics of paranormal things hugs Leann
Comment: Oh my gosh, those dogs are so adorable :) I've never seen baby food or cream of wheat as ingredients before - very cool. Thanks so much!
Response: The local pet shop by me makes home made doggy ice cream. I want to know how they do it! lol. They come in single serving tubs and my puppies nearly attack me when I break them out. Must. Find. Recipe!.. of all 10 flavors! such as Vanilla Slurp and Good puppy Peanut butter.
Comment: Thanks for the very cool pair of cards! I saw a (really really bad) horror movie once about the Jersey Devil. Your cards were a HUGE improvement over that. :)
Response: LOL was it called " THE 13TH CHILD"? horrible.. There have been quite a few really bad horror movies about the Jersey Devil.. :shakes head: Driving through the Pine Barrons is scarier then those movies. haha. But, camping in leeds point, like I have done so many times, is the best ever. It's like your own little horror movie.. You hear all sorts of weird things... specially this screeching. No one knows what animal it comes from, but by god is it scary. It's like a cross between a screech owl screaming bloody murder and a wolf howling. Really strange stuff.
Comment: Sorry, wrong swap. Anyway, for your first time you did a really good job. I don't know a lot about zentangles, but your ATC could pass for one of those. I see the keyhole, teacup, the hat and the clock, the hole, etc. I bet you had fun doing this one.
Comment: Thanks for resending! I LOVE the one with the cardboard man! LOL, love it! I made more than one design too, I love making these things! I'm going to post my collection on flickr, check it out if you like...(I think my flickr is linked to my profile)
Response: That one , is by far, my favorite! They're so fun to make. I even went font DLing crazy so I had a ton to work with ( I have about 3,000 fonts now lol) I'll have to poke around your flickr and take a look! Thanks for the heart! :D
Comment: I really love the card you made me! Not bad for a first timer. I, too, just started making ATCs therefore, I dont have any tips for you LOL. All in all, I love it! Really love the envelope as well. Just keep on making them like me and we will master this ATC ordeal down the road :). Thank you so much, its the first one Ive recieved. #1 in my collection YAY!
Response: The number one in your collection is the number on in my "ever made" collection ;P How fitting! I'm sooo glad you liked it! and wow! it got to you quick! I'm still waiting for my ATC (which will be the first in my collection too!) - I'm excited!
Comment: Issy, I LOVE the card you sent! The bears and pumpkins are so, so cute, and I love the way you decorated the back. :) I love decorating the back of my PC's too, so I truly appreciate it! Thanks a lot!
Response: Hi!! I'm glad you loved your card. I had a ton of fun decorating it. :D I love decorating the backs of my PCs. Most of my PC's I make myself out of photos and cardstock, so I had to draw the lines on the back.. I figured, why not get creative with it! It's just so fun. :D Thanks for the heart!
Comment: oh my gosh...that postcard is cray cant believe you caught that on camera amazing and spooky thanks for sharing the story
Response: Right! I've tried to get it again, but I never could.. so I'm left with that single picture.. My boyfriend won't let me hang it up. he says it freaks me out too much because he's gotta sleep in that room. lol.
All sorts of strange things happen in my house.. the most recent was I was laying on one end of the couch watching a movie with my BF and my heavy glass cup was on the other end on the endtable. There was at least one couch cushion between me and the end table and my feet were tucked up under me anyway.. All the sudden, the back of me felt wet. My glass was laying against my legs and my legs ad back were all wet. The armrest, cushion, and pillows between me and the end table, however, were not wet at all. And the coaster that the glass was sitting on.. was half way across the room in the OTHER direction. I guess the ghost didn't like my pick of movies for the night! lol.
Comment: Wish I could give you several hearts!
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3
I LOVED reading your list. And the pictures were great. Particularly the one of your room with the "thing" in your room. Awesome and kind of creepy at the same time!
Thanks so much for putting so much into it!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed reading it!! It is pretty creepy. I'm not allowed to hang up that picture because it freaks my boyfriend out. lol. One of these day's.. I'll have it blown up to poster size or something and hang it over his side of the bed. haha. That'd be so mean.. okay okay.. only an 8x10. :D :D Thanks for the heart!
Comment: I loved your answers & the photo at the end I am a believer in ghosts!
Response: Spooky, right? All sorts of strange things happen in my house.. the most recent was I was laying on one end of the couch watching a movie with my BF and my heavy glass cup was on the other end on the endtable. There was at least one couch cushion between me and the end table and my feet were tucked up under me anyway.. All the sudden, the back of me felt wet. My glass was laying against my legs and my legs ad back were all wet. The armrest, cushion, and pillows between me and the end table, however, were not wet at all. And the coaster that the glass was sitting on.. was half way across the room in the OTHER direction. I guess the ghost didn't like my pick of movies for the night! lol.
Comment: Thank you for the great answers. It is so cool that you are best friends with someone you have never met.
Response: Thanks! Most people think it's strange.. that you have to know someone face to face to make that kind of connection. We don't feel that way.I'm just very happy I know her in any way at all. She's helped me get through a lot of bad in the last 10 years of knowing her.
Comment: Ive noticed a lot of folks on here with a common interest for piercings, so awesome. I dont have any stretched other than my 4g lobes... my ears have a tough time reacting to piercings ( the original reason I got a tongue ring ). I only wanted one tongue ring nothing else but the lady said ill be back... she was right. I have lobes, cartlidge, conch, nips, both eyebrows, septum, nostril, monroe, bridge, 3 lip, and 5 tongue. I want more, but the new shop here is a bit sketchy lol. Tattoos... my right side has the positive tattoos and the Left is for negative tattoos. Im big on symmetry, so they have to come in sets of two LOL. Fun stuff, just tough to find a job in a lil craphole town like here.
Comment: Awww Sweet. Its funny my fiancee used to always call my ex the Warden.
Response: lol. It would crack me up when he called him "the warden".. he also used to refer to him as "your room mate" cuz he swore the way we were was not a relationship.. but two people stuck living together cuz they couldn't get out of their lease. lol.
Comment: Your last thing on the last - about the David the Gnome mug - omg I am so jealous! A few years ago I had this memory of a kids show and kept describing it to my parents and grandparents and they said I was crazy and it didn't exist, but it was David the Gnome!! I loved it and still think it was a really a cute show. :)
Comment: i think it just didn't save, since i'd archived this swap..oh well! thanks for letting me know :)
Response: Yeah, that's happened to me a few times! Like " I know I rated that person!" then go and check and swapbot says " oh, I just didnt like you for a second" grr. LOL . Thanks for the rating.. again! :D
Comment: Wow, all of your food looked de-lish! I loved the little octopus, but only to look at, lol! And the bread on the peanut butter and banana looks great, not like my pitiful grocery store bread. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: The photos were wonderful-- especially the sashimi! My mother's Japanese and a trained sushi chef, so my sister and I were raised as sushi (and sashimi) snobs. All the photos came with detailed explanations and I was touched by the story that came with the sashimi photo.
Comment: Love your story and your photo! Great job on this. I've never heard of a parrotlette! Sounds intriguing. I have a cockatiel and a dog. Love 'em both! You should come out to my part of the country. You can visit snow whenever you like, but don't have to live in it! Thank you for the card!
Response: Glad you got it so quick. It was such a fun swap! Though my knuckles are broken, so I was afraid I wouldnt be abl to write small enough. But, I pulled it off!! haha. I'd love to live somewhere where I had teh CHOICE to be in snow lol
Comment: Thank you for the nice letter, I already knew some of the meanings, but some were totally new for me, like the viking warlord. :D
I love the two postcards you sent, specially the hand-made one is great!
Response: Glad you liked it! I was hoping you'd like the little postcard. I couldn't find anything with your name, so I figured I'd add it into the postcard! Thanks for the heart! :D
Comment: Hi, thanks for the card & the letter. I cant wait for New Moon to come out!! And it must be wonderful being able to walk to the beach, just your description of the ocean and the air and the salt water taffy made me want to go there right now!
Response: It is! I love being this close, though, I hate it during the "on season" because then it's packed with tourists. =/ haha.
Comment: Ryan Dunn. Really? Out of all the people in that group you'd pick him?
That's the funniest answer I got on any of them. I'm sitting here giggling to myself. I just can't see myself being at all attracted to him, I think it's because he's a ginger.
Response: There is just something about him. I dunno. Ryan Dunn.. mmmmm. :D The others.. They're ok. Johnny is the next best, then Rabb.. THEN Bam. I dunno.. Bam annoys the piss out of me.. I'd hit him.. but, he'd laugh. =/ haha.
Comment: Thanks for sharing- I so agree about the hospital part! Its the same way for me. I sat around for 5 hours so my 2 year old daughter could get an x-ray, not even in a room, but some corner supply area because they were out of rooms, where we were forgotten. I should have written a vent against the hospital!
Response: Oh my gosh. I could have gone on and on about the hospital! I ranted for like 45 minutes to my friend about it. By the 8-9th hour in that horrible place I was crying my eyes out because I just wanted to go home!
Comment: I did the same thing after watching that episode of Scrubs, haha :) The other song is very interesting. Not my usual thing, but I can definitely see why you are so drawn to it- I like it. Thanks! Heart for two songs
Comment: Very beautiful postcard. I love the beach too. I really miss living 2 blocks from the ocean. I have never been to Avon, NJ but I have been to the Cape May area a lot. My Brother lives in Villas, NJ.
Response: Glad you got it so quickly. Thank you for the 5. I've lived in New Jersey ALL my life and I have never been to Cape May. I should change that!
Comment: Thanks so much for these tracks - was really interesting to hear Colin Hay do something apart from "Men Downunder"! I really loved the William Elliott Whitmore track and I'm going to get some more of his music. I'm not a huge country fan but as you say his voice is one of those ones you can't not listen to.
Comment: Thanks for the mp3s! That Scrubs episode is one of my favorites!
Response: I thought that some people might have heard that song which is why I wanted to send two.. That and I couldn't decide. I play those two on a daily basis. They're the two most played song on my mp3 player!
Comment: Very nice photo. I like to send my own photography, too.
P.S. - Remember to add what swap you are sending for. It took me a while to find it in all of my swaps (I'm addicted.) :~)
Response: Sorry! hehe. I'm brandy new, and didn't even think to put that on my postcard. But, I will know from now on to include that! =] Thanks for the little helpful hint. Glad you liked it and it got to you so quickly! ;D
