Comment: Thank you for the lovely Jetoy cat postcard, and I will definitely look into the books you recommended! I'm currently finishing up the third book in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon and loving it!
Comment: Dear , and I wrote by private message , today you put this rating because yes indeed I received my swap , but was damaged and had to be recondition , came just 3 tea instead of 5. You send an MP on June 15 and July 3, but you did not answer me . Despite put this rating, I am willing to change my rating if I have any answer from you . Please contact me .
Comment: I got your 2nd attempt today!😊 thanks for the pretty card and message, it's so nice yo know I'm not the only one who's noticed people ignoring simple things😒but, thank you again, have a great week!!
Comment: Loved receiving your postcard. Thank you so much..also I read your profile..amazing how much you are doing this...are you doing some mail art as well?
Response: You're welcome! Glad you got it and like it. :) Nope, I don't do mail art. Haha. It seems interesting, but I really feel like I have no creative bone in my body and I really don't want to disappoint anyone. xD
Comment: Thank you for the great typography card, adorable Hello Kitty archer sticker and cat washi, and kudyapi postage (I wasn't aware of this instrument, so it was cool to learn about it :) I hear you about cheesecake's richness -- I used to bake more often in college for parties/events/rehearsals where I knew people could share vs. the result sitting in my apartment, haha! Two baked goods that I want to make but haven't due to time/space requirements are macarons and Caitlin Freeman's Piet Mondrian cake as served at SFMOMA and documented in her Modern Art Desserts book -- they used to ship a select amount of them overnight but do not, perhaps because SFMOMA has been under construction for two years and is opening soon; I had wanted one for my birthday :) Hope you are having a good day, and thank you for helping brighten mine!
Comment: Thank you I love the pc, You should watch Med, its so good, there doing a Chicago L&O too
Response: You're welcome! Is it? I might have to check it out! Yeah, I just finished watching CPD's last episodes and I saw the L&O sneak pilot haha it seems interesting and something I might check out too! :)
Comment: Thank you for the great Warhol cattle card, vintage Disney stickers (I totally heard "One Jump Ahead" in my head when I saw it :), and great postage. Glad to see that you also love Gelly Roll pens! I especially liked the metallics and glittery ones in middle/high school but am more partial to 0.6 mm black, blue, purple, and the Moonlight series because they're bright :) I also love your Moonrise Kingdom font-esque script! Hope you have fun planning your US trip this fall! I experience something similar with French sometimes -- I studied it for many years and was fluent, but when I had to use it on the job, I got shy/flustered but was eventually able to communicate :) I also have the tendency to adopt the accent of the people/place I am visiting. (I remember being amused/intrigued by how Lea Salonga adopted an English accent in an interview during her West End run in Miss Saigon in the late 1980s.) Happy Friday!
Comment: Thank you for a great floral postcard, stamps, and your nice note. :-) Fruit is one of my favorite things, but I guess I don't consider it to be expensive - especially when it's in season. Thank you! :-)
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! I am thoroughly enjoying finding these vulgar postcards in my mailbox. =)
I love the super hero washi you used! I've never seen any like that before!
What did you think of Ex-Heroes? I love that series and just finished the most recent one, Ex-Isle. Very good. I also really liked 14 and The Fold, also by Peter Clines. They are both really well written and have crazy plot turns that you totally don't see coming!
Response: You're welcome! They're definitely a fun little surprise in the mail. I hope my mailman doesn't think less of me. Lol. I'm glad it arrived there! I've been having issues with my washi peeling and whatnot. @[email protected] I'm really liking it so far, though I'm annoyed that I *still* haven't finished it. Lol. I'm in the part where they just discovered what caused the virus in the first place so I'm neaaaarly done. Can the books be read as standalones or are they really continuous? I have 14 on my Kindle but I have yet to start it! I really dig Peter Clines's writing style though. :D
Comment: Oh my goodness Tessa! This simple swap has turn into an exciting one thanks to you! :D Even when you say you didn't have profile-based postcards for me, ALL postcards are exactly the kind that I love to receive! ;) The teas are really wonderful and the coin is a great addition to my tiny collection :) I really enjoy reading your long interesting letter and will try to post a response when I have more free time ^_^ Oh, the envelope is amazing and the variety stamps are so cool! Thank you so very much for everything! 💓 💗 💖 💠💙 â¤ï¸
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words, A'ishah! :) I'm so happy the envelope finally got to you!! I was so nervous as it's been nearly 2 months since I sent it! And I'm ecstatic you like everything :) Yeah, totally write when you have the time. I get how life (and snail mail life can get busy! :) Thanks for the heart!
Comment: What a fantastic letter! I just got it earlier today and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Sadly it looks like it was damaged in transit so the extra goodies are out there in the ether.
Response: I'm glad you got it (though oh my gosh, it took more than 3 weeks to get there!!! Whaaaaat! Why'd it take so long??) and I'm happy you were entertained. Haha. I'm so sorry it arrived damaged, though!! :( I'm disappointed you didn't get... whatever the heck I included (it was over 3 weeks ago, can you blame my horrible memory? Okay, yes, you can. I feel old.). I'll try to up my tape game or something. :( Thanks for the heart nonetheless!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful card (I love anything that is "Keep Calm and..." since it ties into my Anglo-/Winston Churchill-philia :), stamp (I admit that I did not know about Sen. Gonzalez, so I always appreciate the history lesson afforded by postage!), and message in your cheery handwriting :) All of those books sound intriguing! I am finishing Through the Looking Glass tonight and likely starting The Exchange of Princesses by Chantal Thomas (I am a sucker for historical fiction, but I prefer history itself, or end up reading more about the original events :) Happy reading!
Response: I'm so glad this arrived way faster than the previous card! Haha. :) Yay so happy you like it :)
Comment: Thank you for the great macarons card and stamps and for being conscientious about ensuring its arrival! I love your neat, font-like handwriting, too :) Heheheh, I'm glad to find a fellow Filipina on Swap-Bot -- salamat po!
Response: I'm glad you liked it (and I'm so glad it arrived!!!)! Man, that postcard sure took its sweet time to get there! Thanks for the compliment haha I've always thought my handwriting's kinda eh (I always got a C+ in school for it haha) so exchanging snail mail is a great ego booster haha. Salamat din sa pag-rate! <3
Comment: Thank you for the postcard, yes I seem to love doing lots of dressing up for my hobbies. What can I say I enjoy it.
I do watch Face off, so interesting to see as the season progresses the work from the start to finish improves and becomes more amazing.
Comment: Tessa, thank you so much for your mail! The postcard arrived 1 day earlier than the envelope. I can't wait to try these tea's because we do not have any of these over here! I will definitely write you soon! Greetings from Germany!
Comment: Ah! I LOVED your letter! It was so fun and I love the extras! :) I don't know if you'd be interested, but I'd love to write you back as soon as I have some time. It's not everyday that you meet a name twin! Also you seem like a fun person that I'd like to get to know! Thanks again!
Response: You did? Hahahaha. I'm a bit surprised coz my mind was a mess that night (let's be honest, it really is most nights... and days... Haha)! I'm glad you liked it, though! You're very welcome! Feel free to write me back! I'd love to hear from you! :D
Comment: I liked the postcard the you selected. The flower stamp was a very nice touch. And you should definitely pick up your cross stitch again! Even if you only do a little bit at at a time, you'll eventually get a beautiful design.
Response: I'm glad you liked the PC. :) Haha. I really should pick up my cross stitch, but I'm so overwhelmed by other things I have going on. D: Hopefully, I'll get back to it soon, though. It can be relaxing, even though I stitch so slow! :)
Comment: Hi Tessa, thank you for the beautiful Philippines pc. Those stamps are just amazing and I really enjoyed reading about your country. I already have GF Philippines card, but if you need the UK one I am happy to swap for something else!
hope you have a great day!
Response: You're very welcome! I'm glad you like the stamps. :) Oooh yes, I'd love a GF UK card! What types of postcards are you interested in? :)
Comment: Hi Tessa! i love your PC :) and your handwritting is so perfect! :) i wish your 2016 goes awesome with a lot of naps and cold rainy blanket days <3, i love those kind of days specially when is weekend and you dont have to wake up early :D All the best for you too! Greetings, Pia
Response: I'm so glad you got it, Pia! :) Thank you for the kind words. Yesss just snuggling in a blanket on a cold, rainy day. Bliss. :)
Comment: Thank you very much for the awesome package, I love it! Your coins are very interesting (especially the one with the hole in it, the old Greek coins - the lepta - had a hole too) and your explanations are much appreciated as well. And the teas - oh I can't wait to taste them, they are so unusual! ♥
Response: You're very welcome! I'm so relieved you received it, as it seems no one else has received what my coin swap envelopes! :( But yay! I hope you like the teas! :)
