Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome chocolates!!!! I have never tried some of them before....never even heard of them!! I think I like the green tea one the best which is weird because I don't like green tea, lol. Thanks again!
Comment: I got the yarn and extras today. Thank you so much. I love the yarn. My daughter's friend just had a little boy, I will make something for him with the baby blue, The cards are lovely. And you can never have too many coasters. ha ha Don't worry about the lateness. We all have problems now and then, I had to dig myself out today, I hadn't been able to get my car out since Saturday. Today I just said, This is too much, and spent nearly a hour shoveling snow, but I did it, not bad for a 74 year old gal. LOL
Response: i'm impressed!!!! congrats to your friend;)
Comment: Love love the charms! Everything so terrific. I would have run to put these on my "Magpie necklace" except my new knees don't work so fast. I had to be satisfied with a hurried walk. Thank you so much for the bonanza!
Comment: Ok...you jerked a tear! Incredible that this apron looks like the same pink fabric my grandma used to make some of her aprons! AND MY GRANDFATHER IS FROM THE TOWN IN WHICH YOU BOUGHT THE APRON! uNBELIEVEABLY SPECIAL! Thanks "sniff" so much!
Response: wow! what are the chances?!
you are so very welcome. hugs<3
Comment: Jay, thank you for all the fun stuff for Brooke...she loved it!! I'm curious if Mom did the picking...if you did it yourself I'm impressed for a teenager to think of all those fun ideas for a young and upcoming "princess" ...you may be her handsome "prince" :) She loved everything!! The swim ring is going to FL for Thanksgiving break, she is carrying the books around and has the bookmark in :Sleeping Beauty and Noah will be her movie of the day as she wears her sophisticated shawl....thank you so much :) Blessings!!!
Comment: Thank you for such a thoughtful package! My fridge will be very happy to have some poetry (I've always thought the words magnets were the neatest thing, but I never thought to buy it myself). :)
Comment: "Dag" is a word Aussies have used for millenia (or less than 100 years) in places where you might say "dork" - but its meanings are multiple and slightly various, depending on context and tone of voice, etc. Kids always delight in looking it up in the dictionary and finding its literal meaning, haha, but I'd *never* heard it with "-lock" on the end before, so that was really interesting. Thanks! PS: Great to see an upcycled cardboard PC again. Those swaps don't seem to be happening anymore, do they? Loved it.
Response: i can't wait to call my husband a dag the next time he acts like one! thanks for the heart:)
Comment: What a sweet, wonderful, thoughtful package you sent me! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the quilt squares and I have never seen a thimble like the one that has a place for your fingernail to come out! I had a terrible day and your package really cheered me up. Thank you sooooooooo much and PLEASE let me know if you ever want to do a private swap. *hugs*
Response: yay! i am so glad the swap cheered you up:) i've never done a private swap...what you have in mind?
Comment: Oh boy did I score! This little box is adorable. I think I can make that into a pin cushion.
The contents blew me away. I LOVE these earrings!
I am thrilled to have received such a cool swap.
Response: so welcome:) pin cushion...i ever would have thought of that! great idea!
Comment: Awesome scarves! My 3 yr old claimed one as soon as I opened the package, but she's at that "love to dress up" stage so I let her. They're gorgeous and perfect; I'm wearing one right now! Thanks!
Comment: Thank you for your comment. I really enjoyed it.
I think badges and buttons are the same thing. To me a button goes on your shirt and holds it shut :P But a badge is like...a cheap broach. Purely for decoration :P I used to wear a huge laptop bag to college and my friends spent a small fortune kitting me out with funny badges for it. There wound up being more badge than fabric on show. Saying things like "Stupid factory, where boys are made" and "Angel in the kitchen, slut in the bedroom" and anything else my boys thought was hillarious :P Your minivan roof sounds so fun!
Yeah, my gramma was like my mother. Growing up both my parents worked full time, so we went to my grammas every weekday at around 8, she took us to school, picked us up, fed us, got us ready for bed, took us shopping for most of my young life. And then we spent every Sunday at hers. She was the one I turned to for advice, to discuss all my stupid problems and just to learn from. She was my role model and I miss her terribly. I cried for days when she left. But my aunty Anne gave me this necklace of hers and I wear it everywhere now. It helps me feel like she's still in my life. I miss her so much I still have her number in my phone. I refuse to take it out because it's like loosing a bit more of her.
Response: i do understand. my mom died last august and i still have her # in my phone too:( it makes me feel better somehow. i do believe i will see her again when she is resurected to the earth... can't wait for that! we didn't have the best relationship, i would love another chance.
onto a lighter note, one of my favorite buttons says stop wasting time reading buttons! its all rusty and old school! i absoulutely love it! thanks 4 the heart
Comment: Such nice comments on my profile! This is a swap that really made me feel all warm and fuzzy, lol! I think this should be done every so often, just to boost the spirits of the receiver. Thanks for making me feel wonderful!
Response: awww... i feel the same way;) have a great night!
Comment: Got my little tin of magnets yesterday! First of all, the presentation was AMAZING! The little Burt's Bees tin was a beautiful display medium. The magnets themselves are great also. I LOVE vintage jewelry, but so many times it's flawed. This is the PERFECT way to use vintage jewelry. Thank you thank you thank you so much!
Response: i am so glad you liked them!!!!
i love to reuse little tins for stuff like that. thanks for the rating<3
Comment: Thanks for the really fun unique card, it arrived safe and sound (can I ask what you use to 'seal' your collage? there wasn't one bit of damage to it from the mail process!....I'm always looking for better ways...)
Response: yay! so glad you liked it! it was just a couple coats of mod podge decopage glue:)
Comment: LBF loved the package you sent! He knew I had put together a package for someone's hubby but forgot that he was getting one too, so it was a great surprise for him. He's having an extra thick peanut butter sandwich for lunch today thanks to you! Thank you so much!
Comment: Very awesome bag! Did you use a pattern or just wing it? It's very nice.
Response: thanks, glad you like it. it will hold ALOT...very stretchy. i guess you can use any pattern, just cut bags into strips to make "yarn". cutting up teeshirts to make yarn for bags is really fun!
Comment: You are the best. Thank you so much for the yummy yummy choco covered coffee beans. I love them. And you know what I was amazed. The heat index here was 100 yesterday and not one single bean is melted. I also am going to have fun with the puzzles. I do hope that your recovery goes well and that you are feeling better. Thank you so much and Bless you my Friend.
Response: glad you liked them, i am doing much better, thanks<3
