Comment: Sounds like you had a nice highlight to your March, Jane! I still have very fond memories of seeing one of my favorite bands - The Rolling Stones - live somewhere around or over 10 years ago (in October, so this year might be 11 years? Or longer? I remember it was October! I'm a little iffy on the year. . . October 2006! [I checked. :-)] I hope you never forget that you were present for one of your favorites' concerts! :-) I listened to the songs you shared and enjoyed them. :-) Thank you so much for sharing! :-) <3
Comment: A massive thank you and a big heart for resending the keyring and more postcards. Your wrapping made me laugh, there is no way this one was going to escape! I love it and thank you very much xx
Comment: Suite Francaise is a book I love too!.💌 I am sad for the Parisians who celebrate and are surprised as the Nazis invade. I wonder if that’s how war will come to us... thank you for this excerpt.
Comment: Hi Jane! The travelers have made it safely and will be passed on with the next swap! Have you gotten any home yet? I have gotten a few - always fun when it happens! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: think mine have all disappeared into a black hole! Been sending cards out since round 19 and never had one back yet!
Comment: Thank you for the nice postcard and for sharing the info for the book with me :) I will definitely read it soon, sounds pretty excited. By the way recently I finished reading "Blindness" by Jose Samarago. Amazing book! But not easy to be read..
Comment: Thank you for the suggestion. It sounds interesting and guess what? Our library can order it in! Thanks! I have read several of the books suggested in this swap and it certainly has opened my reading circle!
Comment: This was really crazy because I have this strange fascination with Arizona and the southwest and of all the places you could send a postcard from, this is the one that you chose for me... and from all the way across the pond! Thank you so much for this postcard from the one place on Earth I am continually drawn to visit. â¤
Comment: it was so exciting to read your letter and get to know you. yes, china would be great to visit--i hope you get to go soon! i chuckled at what annoys you as I can relate...i dont ride the train much so that one i will take your word for :) I will check out the bk Flowers in the Attic--I read Language of Flowers....I LOVE the MONEY PIT---I laugh and laugh and laugh!! Enjoy your week in England :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely, thoughtful card selection -- I actually gasped to see the extra Jetoy card :D I wish I could give you several hearts, as I also appreciated the postage stamp you used that reminded me of the Four Recitatives from Handel's Messiah that I performed once in concert :) I hope our paths cross again!
Comment: This is a fun swap, thanks for participating. You certainly met the swaps requirements. I have been told there is a pill for what ails us all in this swap. Just dont drink the kool-aide not matter what they tell you.
Comment: Belated thanks for your P/C. I did wonder what the new tenants downstairs thought. We share a letterbox with them, unfortunately, and they help their son check the mail. They must have thought you totally hated me. Haha! Oops! :P
Comment: Thanks for the book page Jane. :) Funnily enough, I am intrigued to know what's going on in this book! Why does she have a dentist appointment supposedly on a Saturday? Hmm... Thanks for the cat postcard as well, it's sweet!
Response: You'll have to read it to find out!
Glad you liked the PC
Comment: So nice to read you'd like to be able to speak german! (It is not as hard as everybody says - there are much harder languages out there!) If you ever need some advice or if you like to have a (penpaly kind of) conversation - let me know ;-)
Comment: Thank you for the postcard!! We do have tarantulas and lots of other spiders. We also are big exporters of wine and copper and have over 14 different climates and beautiful landscape. Hope you can sometime visit Chile!! Have a great day!
Response: As I absolutely HATE spiders, I doubt I'd go somewhere where they have tarantulas and other nasty creepy crawlies!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I visited London last year and rode on the London Eye. The view certainly was spectacular although it's hard when you can't choose the other occupants in your pod. One lady sat on the seat for the entire trip. I don't know how much she saw.
Response: My son did that - he's scared of heights, so fair play to him for even getting on it, but we couldn't persuade him anywhere near the edge!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard! I love the pictures on the front and especially the glittery parts :D Though it definitely was a surprise to receive a US card from GB (but I love view cards from the US).
Comment: Hi, Jane! I got your envelopes and will start leaving them around town this coming week. I will let you know when they are all distributed. I am traveling to Napa, CA on Aug. 7, would you like me to save two of the envelopes to leave up there or would you rather I leave them all somewhere in Mountain View this week?
Response: Whatever you think best. May be a good idea to spread them around a bit!
Comment: Sorry for the delay,I thought I had already done this!
Loved the postcards, very thoughtful! Is this from how they made the movie? I have not seen the full movie,I thought a little strange but this makes me want to read the book;ty!
Comment: Thank you for the neat post card. I've always liked Alice in Wonderland. My middle name is Alice and I won a copy of this when I was little. For reading the most library books during the school year. How'd you know ? Thanks again.
Comment: Aww, cuddly dog! I have a plush fox, I sleep with him. Once I told him when leaving for work: "See you later, I'm leaving", so you're not the only one who talk to imaginary friends :D
PS. It was not a part of the swap but I admire your swim skills.
Comment: Thanks so much for contacting me. I really hope, the card will still arrive. Anyway, I´m very impressed that you´re reading The Tin Drum. Grass was never my favorite, but he´s definitely an important author, though not easily understood.
Response: I'm ploughing my way through the top 100 books and that is on the list.Inly 28 to go now!
Comment: Thank you so much. The kitten card was just too cute. I could just pick them out of the card and cuddle. Love the one with the Hollyhock flowers too. They're one of my favorites and I grow them each year. Thanks again.
Response: Glad you liked them. It was very hard to part with the kitten card myself!
Comment: Hi and thank you for the postcard with your name on it.... I totally understand why you weren't called Amanda! Sorry it's taken me so long to rate this swap, the postcard was buried under a heap of fliers on the sideboard and no one told me until just today. My apologies.
Comment: I miss my Pattycake, too. I have a gorgeous small quilt a swap partner made for me entitled "Pattycake, Quilt Inspector Extraordinaire" which I received within days of her passing. It means so much to me!
Comment: Thank you for sharing the great pics, it is a lot of fun to get a glimpse into others' life! Yes, it is tricky to get the pics to appear on the order... I was able to see all the pics without any problems, so no worries! Oooo, your friend's kitties are soooo cute! I LOVE Malaysian food as well. Love the giraffe as well- I wonder if they are for fund raiser. Colorful pandas popped up all over Washington D.C. about ten years ago. Also, colorful bears and Phanatics (a mascot for the baseball team of Philly) appeared all over the Philly area a few years ago. I have seen colorful elephants in Amsterdam as well. All those were for fund raisers of some kind... The statues were made by the famous (??!!) artists in the city, exhibited for a few months then to be auctioned off. Money went to some kind of charity.
Comment: You did a great job with your photos, not to worry. The flowers and the giraffe were VERY colorful:-) And I loved the kitty pic too. Thanks for sharing with me in this swap. Sunday blessings, ellie
Comment: Thanks for the great postcards. The one from Russia was great - I've never been but it looks neat! And I remember going to the space needle as a kid, so it was super fun to see that postcard. Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely cards that came today. I normally dont like non-view cards but i adore the flower card. and as for the cat doing yoga - it's just so amazing. i want to see if my cats can do that position now
Response: good luck with trying to get your cat into that position! I won't be held responsible for any injuries caused! lol

Comment: Thank you very much for the wonderful model of the Union Jack and the interesting explanation - I learnt a lot! I knew already that the flag represented England, Scotland, and Ireland, and not Wales, but I didn't know why until now. Thanks again! :)
Comment: Thanks for the envelope! I love Dorothy Sayers -- how cool that she was from your town. And the pizza menu is really interesting because in the US we never ever have corn on pizza! You have really different types than we do, even though it's a chain. Funny, isn't it?!
Comment: Just got your e-mail today... January 28th... I rate everyone and i know i did not get your e-mail until today this was m very first swap i put extra effort into this e-mail swap and my e-mail goes to my phone i did not get anything til today that why i gave you a three.
Response: Fair point. But if you look at the email I sent yesterday, it was forwarded from the original and the orignal was dated 22 December.
Comment: I enjoyed reading your answers. I like the made up words on the last question. My daughter does the same thing. From Pop Tarts she made the word Poptarticle and we make a alfredo pasta dish with veggies she calls Yumminess.
Comment: I also love Dirty Dancing and Mamma Mia! I used to watch Grease all the time too, but I think I watched it one too many times LOL. Yes Dolphins are a mammal! I went swimming with them last summer and it was AMAZING... u should do it when u get a chance!
Comment: Ducky's! My middle name is Amanda...glad my parents didn't see that news report. Sophie is a great name though, I like the tv show Leverage and the one character is named Sophie. Thanks so much
Comment: Your beautiful card arrived today! I love the picture. I actually visited this company's website today and was thinking about ordering some cards from them! They are beautiful. And Jane is a lovely name :-) Thanks!
Comment: Yea... I finally found you! Yours was the 3rd postcard I got yesterday without a swap title on it! Anyway, thanks very much for the really sweet photo of the cute baby
lion cubs. I love it! ~Gail
Response: Oops! Must remember that in future - sorry - new at this!
