Comment: I just came across your swap while cleaning out my bag. Thanks so much for the 4 different lip balms. And thank you so much for the swaps cards. I wish I knew how to make those because they would be soooo useful to have tons of
Comment: I love EVERYTHING about this card. I LOVE Paris so the Paris card was lovely. The goodies inside were great! and I loved that you were homeschooled!!! You are just so sweet and truly brightened my day! Thank you! I wish I could give you two hearts!!!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard 😊. That is awesome about you and your siblings being homeschooled. It has been a wonderful adventure for our family 😊. Please do write - always room for more pen pals 😊 can't wait to hear from you
Response: I will most definitely write. It has been awhile since I had a pen pal.
Comment: I love all the pretty samples!! I don't have any of those tapes (and you'd understand how amazing that is if you saw how I hoard the stuff- lol) Thank you for those and the swap cards- and for joining my swap :)
Comment: Great notebook...the string idea was cute. I think the postage due was because it isn't a normal envelope. My post office forced me to put them in envelopes. Even when I picked yours up they gave me a hard time about mailing something like that. I am not sure what the big deal was. It is frustrating because I loved this swap.
Response: I loved the idea of this swap. I will remember extra postage for anything I send naked from now.
Response: This user told me they received my package but they did not like what I had sent. So in an effort to get the rating changed I resent it and then never heard from her. - 1/31/15 Swap resent.
2/6/15 Sent message asking if swap was received. No answer. 2/11/15 Sent message again asking if swap was received. Offered to resend again. No response. 2/19/15 Resent again. -
Comment: The bag itself was really nice, thank you, though I was a little surprised that in your note you said you included as many of my favorite superheroes as you could because the only one I really saw represented was Hulk. Can I ask why the envelopes you decorated had Christian literature pasted on the inside?
Response: The journal was covered in Spider-Man comics and some others. Im pretty sure Captain America was in there somewhere. I did the best I could with the resources I had. I'm sorry if you were disappointed.
I have old books that I got for free from the library and I use the pages to reinforce the insides of handmade envelopes.
Comment: Not sure if I ever received the swap . . . have had it on my 'hopefully coming soon' list for a long time. You ratings (and the fact that you're from my home state of Michigan) don't make you appear to be a flaker so I'll just chalk it up to the USPS losing the package! No need to resend.
Response: I'm sorry you didn't get it. I will resend. It's not fair that you didn't get your swap. I remember sending it and thinking "she lives in MI so there shouldn't be any problems". Guess I was wrong.
Comment: Hi, Collette, Thanks for sending the journal. I debated on what to rate you as it was two months late, but I have been given fives even when I was later than that. Life happens, and I do understand. You did a nice job. This is my way of paying it forward, and I hope other people will follow suit. Best Wishes, Cynaemon
Response: Thank you! I really appreciate it. I will make sure to pay it forward.
Comment: I LOVE the poetry!!! I especially like Triumphant Prisoner. So cool. And the styles of stationaries looks like they correspond to their poems, or is it just me? Thanks for the heads up about sending late-- Great swap :)
Comment: So much great stuff you sent me! I especially liked seeing the things you made yourself, like embellishments, postcards, the ATC... Even the envelope was decorated with so much patience! A great swap, indeed. Thank you!
Response: Thank you. I'm glad you like it. I tried to include things you would like based on your profile.
Comment: Thanks for the Nut-thins pc....I've bought them a few times. You might try 'The girl in the clockwork collar' by Kady Cross, Steampunk Chronicles. Written for teens, but like Twilight, a lot of adults read it. I get books from my library. That way I can try something then decide if I want to own it. = )
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful postcards~!! If you ever want to do a private swap like you said, IM ALWAYS up for a swap!! But im stopping/cutting down until the new year haha!! So it'll have to be till then!! Thank you again! Pm me in the near future for a swap!! xx
Comment: thank you thank you thank you I LOVE IT. everything in the box was just great i have already used the paper roses you made me on a book that i was making for my mother i aslo used some paper beads that was inthe box to make a charm for the book as well.
Response: I'm so glad you like. I tried fill it as full as I could with things I thought you might like.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely letter -- stream of thought -- just like I like it! I also appreciated the many tea bags -- my husband appropriated the spice teas immediately (he often does)! I want to re read a few times then I'll PM you!
Comment: Hi Colette! I love swap-bot too! I like how it feels getting letters from people all around the world. =) Making vision boards helps getting your dreams coming true! Its about the faith and affirmation you have in those dreams, and determination comes in when you're being reminded of what you want everytime you look at the board.
Hope you have a lovely day!
Comment: Thank you for the very lovely note. It is pretty cool that we both have Tamora Pierce as a favorite author. :)
(Yes, my sewing machine is all metal. It only does a basic straight stitch, but it does it well. They really don't make machines like they used to. After using this one, I wouldn't want any of the fancier modern ones that are anywhere within my budget.)
-Hi, Colette; I got a second card from you today! It was very cheery, though I don't know if you meant to send more than one. Thanks again! :)
Response: The second I had misplaced so I sent another. Then I found the card I had misplaced and it was already addressed and stamped so I figured might as well send it.
