Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely postcard 💝 I love cats so much although I don’t have any..
I don‘t celebrate Halloween as I come from a country where Halloween is not celebrated, but here in Germany there are beautiful decorations and I enjoy seeing creatively carved pumpkins 🎃
Comment: Such an interesting PC. I did look up the artist and wow I'm a fan. I have always liked trompe l'oeil but this underfoot and temp art is in a class all it's own. Thank you so much for the PC, the hand drawn owl, the coordinated washi, the colors added to embellish the flip side and for making me smile !
Comment: Thank you for the lovely teas and the extra bag, that was really thoughtful. I tried the strawberry as an iced tea like you suggested and it was soooo yummy! Perfect for a hot day on my patio!
Comment: Thanks so much for sending more than 2 postcards for me! Loved them all! Not sure if I will use them!! Hahaha. Thanks too for the tea bag, Lovely fragrant when I opened the envie! Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you for the "Cats Rule" postcard. Fun swap to receive a postcard showing multiple Kawaii cats, from you Lisa, a cat person. Thankfully YouTube has collections of videos showing cat shows, interesting trims, cuts, grooming of cats & more, I can watch any time. Happy Spring!
Comment: I have to agree with you I'm not interested in seeing Jerusalem either. I do enjoy travelling and seeing different countries but it's always nice to come home because where I live I see plenty of mountains, forest and wildlife. Thanks for the card and great postage stamps.
Comment: hi Lisa got the postcard todayit,s a very pretty card and the coloring in card is great thank you and the envelope is fantastic what a great job you did .Will send of the post card in round 11 Cheers Wendy
Comment: Got your very cool handmade PC today, I always love handmade! I really don't know anything about the gelli and how to use it, I need to watch a YouTube video on it. I like the effect on your card, it's really pretty. Got to love Hobby lobby, they have some great buys! I like old keys, I'll have to look for that stamp too.
Comment: Lisa ~ Hi from O~Hi~O
Thanks for the beautiful Bahamas post card, love the sunset and palm trees. I've been there many years ago. Loved the clear water, palm trees and the Bahama Mama! It was strange being out of the USA, one and only time for me. Thanks again & Take care, Judy
Comment: Hi Lisa! I love your M pc! So colorful and awesome! My friend is very involved with sustainability and plants milkweed to help out the monarch butterflies! Love that your son and his family does as well! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you very much for the beautiful view card Lisa, this is just how I like to see snow, on a view card or looking out of the window into my garden and seeing freshly fallen snow. The reality of being out in the cold when the snow turns to dirty slush is not so magical!
Comment: Dear Lisa, thank you so much for your fantastic card! And special thanks for a postcard with Minute Maid Park and lovely coaster! My family loves baseball! We so enjoyed World series this year and we're really happy that Astros have won, such a great team and deserved it more then anybody. Thanks again for your amazing envelope full of surprises :)
Wish you and your family a very happy holidays :)
Response: I'm glad you liked the Minute Maid Park PC... I love baseball too and it sure was a great year for my team! Best wishes for a Happy New Year!
Comment: Thank you for the PC. I am also not a huge Bond fan, but the PC was fun, and I dont have to watch the movie to enjoy it! I haven't seen La La Land, I don't get a chance to see many movies, but I will check it out! Thanks!
Comment: Thanks so much for your gorgeous card - I love it! How nice that you were able to write the card outside in the sunshine. It's a beautiful day here today and unseasonably mild - won't last long, though...
Comment: Thank you for your lovely postcard! I love the colors and the illustration! My birthday is July 11 so we don't share the same birthday! Oh well! I'm glad you enjoyed reading my profile. I think I'm a cool person too! HA! ;-) (We Cancerians can be humorous, right!)
Comment: Love this chunk! Little Debbie has the perfect graphics and I love your decor (skulls/pumpkins) on the address side. I'm not eating these snacks anymore but I'm sure I ate enough for a lifetime in the past! xo
Comment: Thank you so much! I love everything! The owl envie is adorable, the postcards are wonderful, and the stickers you picked out for me are absolutely perfect! I can definitely use these in my collages.
Response: I'm really glad you'll be able to use the stickers. Did I tell you how cool your collages are? I envy people who can do that! Best wishes... =)
Comment: This little cutie of a card arrived in today's mail :) Cute armadillo on the card! We are still waiting for our first snow to fall and stick here...been lots of rain lately - we are going to have webbed toes if this rain keeps up! haha! Thank you for the great card!
Comment: Hi Lisa, I'm not 100% sure that you sent this PC to me, since it was signed 'jb' and had no swap name on it... but your username is Juniebird so I assumed it was you! The Childrens Museum looks great, I would love to visit Houston one day :) From Sophie
Response: Wow, I can't believe I forgot to put the swap name and my user name on the postcard! Thanks for figuring it out and for rating me!
Comment: I think it's likely been at least 10-12 years since I saw one of these. There was a VW repair shop in Memphis that worked only on old VW model cars. Every now and again in that area of town, you'd pass a really cool old car!
Comment: Hello Lisa ~ Thank you for the beautiful PC. So, a lot has happened since you sent this card. I hope you and your family are in a safe and dry place. And I hope you were not part of the flooding. Our hearts are with you.
Response: Thank you for the kind words. It rained for about 4 days straight here, that was after I wrote my postcards for this swap. It was pretty crazy. We watched the water in our street rise up into our yard, closer and closer, but we were fortunate and it didn't flood our home. So many others were not so lucky, it is very sad to see.
Comment: SO SORRY for the delay in rating! I found 4 postcards in a pile that I had not registered! My fault. Thank you for the MImi Moos chunk. I really love your rainbow washi tape! I've been using a lot of rainbow stickers lately...as a reminder of #lovenothate
Comment: So sorry for the late rate. I'm positive I rated for this but when I went to archive the swap it was gone...Anyway, I love the postcard you chose for me - the pilot reminds me of the one in Le Petit Prince. I've been using it as a bookmark so I can enjoy it more often 😊. Thank you!
Response: Thank you for letting me know! Did the envelope come unsealed on its own or do you think it was opened by someone? I made the envelope myself and it seemed sturdy... I'm so sorry if it was my fault that the envelope came open. Thank you for the rating and best wishes!
Comment: Thank you for all the cute stuff! I have plans for all of it already.
Response: Guess what I found in my mailbox this morning - the original swap, "return to sender" - it finally came back to me! I'm so sorry about the address goof and I sincerely thank you for being understanding. And thanks also for the heart!
Comment: I love the lemurs! <3 I like that you sat in the library (it's my favorite place in the world). I hope you stay cool. It's barely hit the 70's here in WAY upstate NY. Yesterday I was wearing a lined flannel shirt I got at a yard sale. Only bought it because I was so cold. (It was only 57and raining.)
Comment: Love the PC and, wow, you had quite the list to get done! I don't blame you for not finishing everything; my list was half that and I didn't finish it, lol. Way to go for everything you did accomplish! :D
Comment: Thank you for the interesting card and your delightful illustrated envie, Lisa. I really appreciate your reading my profile and sending the card in an envie the way I prefer. Glad you're having fun with mailart and swapping. It can be a bit addictive -- but one could have worse addictions! See you in the mail!
Comment: Thank u so much for the turtle postcard. I went to an aquarium restaurant in Nashville years ago wonder if they the same thing??? I couldn't order fish being surrounded by em lol. Thanks have a good week
Comment: Thank you very much for your lovely card - it sure looks beautiful 😊. What does that quote/line 'Don't mess with Texas!' mean/stand for? 😃
Response: Hello! To answer your question, there was a big advertising campaign in Texas a few years back to encourage people to throw trash away properly instead of littering. The campaign slogan was "Don't mess with Texas" and it really caught on (became popular) because we Texans are very proud of our state and we don't want anyone to "mess" with us. I'm not sure I explained that very well but I hope it makes sense! Thanks for the rating!
Comment: What a wonderful postcard! I did need Texas, thank you! I loved reading about your profile name, and as to how I get things done...lol... 1. By the grace of God, and 2. Being an insomniac adds hours to my days! Thanks again for such a thoughtful swap!!!
Comment: Thank you very much for the beautiful postcard with flowers that you sent me, it is very beautiful ...
In Chile we had a very hot summer, but we are already in autumn and the temperature has dropped ... we are now with an average of 20 ° C maximum ( 68 ° F approx).
Greetings from Chile
Comment: Thanks for the lovely cards - my favorite one is the birds, but the others are fab, too! I hear you about having time to do our own art - I can get carried away with swaps, myself. I'm having fun seeing what people send, write in notes, etc. Oh, and thanks for the pretty envie too - I like to make calendar page enives, but find that many of the pages don't hold a fold well, they tear at the fold line, which is disappointing. Happy Spring!
Response: So far I've had good luck with the calendar envelopes I've made. At least I hope that none of the ones I've sent have torn or fallen apart in the mail! Thanks for the rating. Happy Spring to you too!
Comment: Just got the card in today's mail...What a gorgeous kitty! Looks like my middle boy, Dallas :) This morning we had a big white bunny in our back yard :) he was enjoying the goodies and treats we put out for the birds :) Had a mom and young moose not too long ago visit our back yard :) Thank you for the wonderful card :)
Comment: Hi Lisa, thank you so very much for the pretty stickers which i love, the gorgeous notecards and lovely note. And the pocket heart is great! Sounds like a nice day in Galveston. That brings to mind a song my daddy used to play when i was young by Glenn Campbell lol...now its in my head! Thanks again for the awesome swap!!!!!!
Comment: Omgoodness Ms. Juniebird.... I adore the extra notecard and the washi samples... I didn't have any of them and also have never seen them.... (Straight into my stash they go). Thank you so much.... P.s. I loved your notecard and the note. I was smiling all the way through. I'll be writing u back.....
Response: I look forward to getting a letter from you and I'll be sure to write you back!
Comment: Well, Hi, Newbie! -- Hope you're having fun on S-B! -- Love love love the Paddington Bear Valentine's ... and - Love Love Love all the other goodies you enclosed - and - The pretty envelope you decorated. Thank you so much for a fabulous swap - Happy day to you.
Response: Thanks for the rating. =) Do you mind if I ask if the washi samples came thru ok? It's the first time I've made a sample card and I worried after I sent it that it might not work out the way I planned!
Comment: Like you, the child in me is always wishing for snow. Our Nashville weather's been more spring than winter, though we're finally having a cold "spell" with possible flurries. Your PC is adorable...LUV it!! Hearts and hugs coming now with hope we swap again...jinanne
