Comment: What an interesting effect, coffee making you sleepy! I can think of times when that would be handy or really inconvenient. Hey with the mint tea, doesn't it affect the flavour if the leaves aren't dried? I've always wondered because I love chocolate mint, but I don't know how to turn it into tea. Anyway, thanks for the fun read, and have a nice day!
Response: Ha! It's not one of those things that I can rely on 'tho - sometimes it will really get me wired!! If you have dried mint leaves, the taste is stronger - I just prefer a big bunch of fresh mint leaf tea as I adore the smell and the colour; a beautiful vibrant green! YUMMMMY I hope you get to figure out how to make chocolate mint tea - I'd love to try that! x
Comment: I LOVE what you did with this postcard, particularly the unicorn poop (I'm not sure if this was intentional but it made me smile). I really enjoyed this swap and I hope you had fun with it too.
Response: *chuckle* yes, it was definitely intentional - my childlike sense of humour, I'm so glad it made you smile!!! I tried using a variety of pens but they all kept sliding off the card; hence glitter being the chief adornment of the vintage postcard x
Comment: Thank you for your email. I will be responding. I just got caught up in some things here. Hehe :) I just saw that you emailed on here as well to make sure I got it. Great idea! Thanks again :)
Response: You are so welcome ((( hugs ))) absolutely no rush ... I'll get the kettle on *big smiles* x
Comment: Mmm that sounds amazing... Ive never had "porridge" before so I will give this a try Thanks =)
Response: I tried it this morning (made last night) ... I'd definitely use less coconut milk but more Koko; I'd also up the proportions of peaches to oats *hehe* but it was still very yummy and filling x
Comment: Extra hearts for you! You actually followed the swap directions of sharing your top 3 books - I'm the host and I even forgot (although I'm correcting that now.)
Plus, all these books look AMAZING! I can't wait to study them more and add a bunch to my board of things to read.
Thank you again for being part of the swap and for sharing.
Response: *hehe* phew! So glad I followed the instructions properly - so glad you enjoyed my board! Thank you x
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard Callie , I went to Florence years ago and thought it was such a beautiful place. I absolutely love those cute birds stickers you put on it , they are very me 😃
Response: Wow, Donna - the snailmail arrived quickly (for a change!); I am so glad it arrived safely! I have to go back to Florence again now, just to pick up some more pretty postcards ... *big smiles* The owl stickies were from Paperchase! xx
Comment: Though your blog was about cancer I found your three steps related to me dealing with a disease. Thank you
Response: Thank you so much - that was a brave step, to choose that article over my creative ramblings. I very much appreciate your kind comment (& yes, most of what we share can be used to apply to most life-situations & illnesses) x
Comment: Wow we really have alot of things in common, but I'm not very clever, probably the dumbest among my peers ;-) I really like your book review and the lovely bookmark, thanks for sharing!! It's amazing how many books you can read at the same time haha
Response: Hi Kikilala ... so glad my book review and bookmark arrived ... ahhhh well, it's the daft mind I have, can't stay in one place for very long unless I meditate regularly! With love x
Comment: She emailed me and said that she had opted out of the letter &teabg swap which I thought was thoughtful. But I recieved an intersting letter and a yummy sounding and meaningful tea, called love. It is a blend of Rose Chamomile and Lavender Tea. I am saving it for the weekend when I will be embraced with the love of my family. 9 adults and 4 toddlers. I have a feeling that the tea will conclude an enriched day of happiness and love .....Just what I will need at the end of the day.
Sent in the most interesting envelope via Royal Mail. Made me feel very special. TYVM
Comment: Thanks for the lovely letter. I really loved the envelope where on earth did you get it or did you make it? I am just enjoying the mug of tea while I am typing my response, thanks so much. Hugs Helen :)
Comment: Really loved hearing all about your favourite tea,
I've never actually tried Yorkshire tea i'll have to try it just for you :)
Thank you so much for the ecard aswell! I loved it, really made me smile!
Comment: i like your style callie... yorkshire tea...
Response: It is DEFINITELY the best of the bunch, hey?! :o) Can't comment on difference between the 'hard' and 'soft' water variety's tho as our water in London is very hard and likely to kill all known germs! Thank you x
