Comment: That was an amazing blog post. Berlin is historically very rich and the surroundings are also very beautiful. It was really great to read about it. So I'm hoping you had fun during it. Especially the nature walks look very relaxing. Thanks for restoring my trust in 'newbies'. You've created a great swap. If I'll post a swap in the future, you'll always be welcome to join. Thank you for sharing.
Response: Please, make more swaps! It was great :)
Comment: Hello Vee,
Thank you for your wonderful assortment of items you sent me. Really love the postcards. I am reading a book at present but have another book I want to start soon. The tea sounds really good. I will use the bookmark in the new book I want to read. Happy Reading!!!
Comment: Wow, Vee! I'm absolutely speechless...Thank you so so much for the amazing package you sent me. I've heard great things about Lithuania and I really want to visit some of the Baltic countries one day. Being a molecular biologist sounds very interesting, I have a friend that studies Molecular Biology right know and she went to USA for a project she and her team developed. They participated in a competition and actually won. We were really proud of her. Also, about the questions about animals and pets - yes I like animals a lot and yes I have a pet. It's a cute Bolognese dog named Gina that just turnet 17 years old. I absolutely love dogs, but I also like cats (when they are nice to me :D ) My GF though...she is obsessed with them and when I read her the letter, the part about you fouding your cat made her very happy, me aswell :) My resolution for 2018 is finishing my bachelor's degree. Now, for the stuff inside the package:
The postcards are awesome, I really liked the green one, it has a retro vibe which I'm a fan of.
The bookmark and notebook will be very usefull for me. I read constanly and I use whatever I can find for a bookmark, so this will be handy. And the notebook I started writting in it immediately, because I'm obsessed with notebooks, journals and overall stationary things.
Me and my GF tried the tea and we enjoyed it, also we tried making the pancakes aaand kinda succeed (we are awful cooks :D) so thank you very much for the recipy and the teas!!
I checked your blog and followed it on facebook, you're posting pretty interesting stuff and I kinda think about creating my own. This comment is probaly super long, so appologies for that. Really appreciate all the stuff that you sent me, it was my first and absolute best package that I've received! You made my day ^^
Response: Oh my, I am very happy you enjoyed it! If you ever feel like having a personal swap with me, dont hesitate to write me ;). Also, if you start writing a blog, send me link, I would like to have a look!
Comment: Lovely postcard. Thank you! I like the stamp, too. Nice looking classic car.
Wow, 8 varieties of cookies already! We haven't even baked a single cookie. LOL. Thankfully my mom does bake several varieties. My favorite that she makes are ginger cookies. Hers are unusual in that they are soft where most people make "snaps" that are crunchy. I prefer soft cookies. Another favorite of mine is peanut butter cookies. I love almost anything peanut butter!!! Maybe the kids & I will make some of those this weekend.
Thanks again & Merry Christmas!!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard, Cottbuser, looks a little bit like San Francisco, in the USA.
I was talking to our daughter while I was reading your card and I got to the point where it said you are a Molecular Biologist, she also has a Degree in Molecular Biology and Chemistry with a Minor in Phycology. I was thinking, jokenly, to ask about a job, just as I started reading you are also looking for a job 😀😀😀, so just to let you know you are not alone in your quest - Canada isn’t much better in that field. Good luck with your search.
Merry Christmas and thank you for the beautiful card.
Response: I am glad you liked my postcard! Give my greetings to colleague molecular biologist! :)))
Comment: Hello Vidmante!
Oh wow. Where do I start? Can I just say you would make a wonderful penpal and if we ever sat down for coffee we would be drinking about 12 cups.
My name is Rebecca and I'm a mom to the silliest smartest 11 year old girl (I think she gets it from her mom). We are Native American from the Puyallup & Quinault tribe located here in WA. I love to bake (when I get the balls too) read movie novels and listen to music & a lot more. Oh yea BIG Harry Potter fan. Like so big I just bought a 56$ Gryffindor scarf. Like the real kind not that cosplay dress up. Hopefully I get my acceptance letter now.
Mmm Christmas cookies! I love all kinds. Sugar cookies, frosted, chocolate chip and my favorite is Chocolate Crinkles! I will be making Christmas cupcakes again this year with red and green swirled together with fluffy white frosting with sprinkles and some snow flake themed with blue swirl in the cupcake :)
I wish I could knit but I have bad skills lol my mom was a fantastic knitter from blankets, scarves, hats to Santa Clause boots filled with candy and candy canes. We would always go to bazaars and sell her work. My favorite memory of her was sitting on her love seat couch knitting while watching tv and eating her peanut M&M's <3
It get's dark here in Washington early since daylight savings. I love the cold weather and we have a wonderful view of Mount Rainier from our house. I grew up in the woods and I loved it.
If you need something to do you can check out a popular postcard site:
postcrossing.com It's amazing what different postcard and stamps there are. Since I can't travel where I want I kinda get a feel with the postcards :)
Haha Mexican Party. We call that Cinco De Mayo! My favorite Tequila is Patron. Expensive but good. At least you don't have to shop for Oranges for awhile!
I loved reading everything you wrote. Have a nice morning/evening/night whatever time it is over there :)
Response: Hi, Rebecca! I love your swap name, true HP fan! Thank you for such a nice rating and a message, maybe we shall exchange letters and small packages sometimes? I will send you a friend request
Comment: Wow, what an adorable package! Thank you so much! I can tell you put a lot of work into it, and especially thank you for writing such a nice letter. I will definitely write back (I promise your German is better than mine, so I'll probably use a bit of both).
Response: I am very glad you enjoyed the package! I hope it made your day better :). I will be waiting for the letter!
