Comment: Great trip to both VT and NH. The letter you wrote tied it all together nicely...and before you mentioned the shape of the two states...I actually DID turn one of the pc's upside down. lol Thanks for the vacation.

Comment: Hey, that's pretty cool that your daughter designed the postcard ad. Thanks - I love the theatre but rarely go, so it's nice to receive and ad card for a play inspired by Shakespeare's Tempest.
Comment: Thank-you for BOTH ATCs! I really, really like what you did with the "green" theme! My goodness! I can't believe what a small world we live in! Truly! Just the other day I listed something on Freecycle and got a response from one of my neighbours! :D
Comment: :) Thank you. Awesome envie...I enjoy all the items. The coin will be a nice addition to a coin collection. My husband has one but I think I'm going to start one as well. I love the notecard too. I'm hungry for apple pie now. haha
Comment: Thanks, Marsha! I really enjoyed doing this swap, must've read fifty cards before I could find one that was somewhere in between mushy and raunchy! Yours was a cute card, and thanks too for the Gulfport PC.
Comment: Thanks for the great email! I love checking out new sites that have tutorials and I really like the idea of the picture frame thread holder! I don't quilt much - I have one that I finished the top and then it went downhill from there ...anyways thanks again for sharing.
Have a great day!
Comment: Amazing, thankyou so much... such brilliant fabric choices, I love the italian recipe fabric on the back!
Thankyou for the extras too.. amazing - I totally forgot the heart the first time, which you completely deserve.. apologies.. added now (i'd giveyou ALL the hearts if i could)
Response: So glad you liked it. I was hoping it would be pleasing to you. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Hi Marsha, I made a quick stop at the PO yesterday on my way to dinner and was surprised to see a whole stack of mail. Nice way to end the year!
Thanks for your book list and thanks for pointing out that I don't have anything about books on my profile. Amazing! I live in a very small condo, and I have eight bookcases. My library is a block and half away, just a nice stroll though the park - and there are stacks of books at the bedside, on the coffee table, even in the loo! I'll put something on my profile.
You have an interesting list. The words time-travel leapt out at me right away. I love time-travel books but I only like to travel ahead and not back!
I've tried to read historical fiction but just can't get into it. Part of the problem is that I'm never sure which characters or parts of the story are true and which are fiction.
I'm going to have a peek at Peter and the Starcatcher the next time I'm in the library, probably tomorrow and see if I might like that one.
A couple of people have tipped me to some terrific Young Adult books which I'd never read before.. I am just finishing the most amazing YA book. Seraphina, by Rachel Hartman. Please try this book, it is superbly written, amazing characters and a plot that will knock your socks off!
Poisonwood Bible sounds like a really good read and I'm definitely adding that one to my list.
Happy New Year!
Response: Seriously? You received three items all using maps and you give a 5. I wish I could see what you sent so I would have a better idea why I didn't get a heart. I guess I'm just an easier rater than you are. Thank you for rating.
Comment: So glad I waited to open this package on Christmas eve, because it made my night special! Love, love, love the fabric postcards (the first of a new collection), the adorable asian-girl tissue holder, the yummy-smelling sachet, scrabble tile and doodads...it's all awesome! Thanks so much, and hope your Christmas was merry!
Response: I'm so happy you liked the items; one never really knows if what they select will "hit the spot". Happy New Year!
Comment: Thank you for the sweet bunny Christmas card! I can tell you read my profile with those color choices...love it:) I've never seen little charms like the ones you sent, they are adorable. Thank you very much ♥
Comment: What an interesting place to visit! Judging from the view on the postcard, you're right about the architecture at Balboa Park. I've never seen anything quite like that before. Thank you for a great swap!
Comment: Marsha, thank you for the postcard of your quilt. It looks like many hard hours work went into it. I really love the flying geese panel and the eagle panel... WOW!!! Hope we get to swap again, I would love to see more of your work.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful ATC and the book. I have already read that one, but it was a while ago, and I don't mind reading it again! And I love the stitched fabric ATC. You can swap with me anytime!
Comment: Thank you for the 4 map cards. I have all 50 states but lots of states have several different cards. The only duplicate you sent was Vermont. As long as they are clean in an envelope I can use them in my swaps.
Comment: Dear Marsha,
Thank you for the nice postcard. I don't think I have had one from Alabama before. Our daughter moved to Tennessee this summer and we visited her. Maybe the next time we come we will have to visit some of the interesting things in your state also. I hope you have a nice mild winter down there! Think of me when the temps here go to -30:)
Comment: I wish I could give you a ten instead of a five! these are awesome! Gorgeous! All the time that you must have spent and the talent...wow! A handful of stars for you too! Thanks so very much! I'll be keeping that posty forever! Jen
Comment: Thanks for the great cards, Marsha! Would you believe only the one from ME was one I already had? I'll just put it out for trade at another time. And thanks, too, for the ME lighthouse card-a new one for my collection! BTW, I don't see Windor on the VT card-guess I better go look your town up!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcards and extras! I love the fishing lures card! My dad loves fishing so I gave it to him. When you're in Alabama let me know! I'll find some other postcards you may like and send it during winter :)
And I will definitely check out your son-in-low's ukulele page.
Take care :)

Comment: Love the fabric and all the goodies. I am making a red, white and blue quilt for my hubby who will be 65 this year and is retired Air National Guard. I love all the patriotic items. Spoiled me some.
Comment: OH MY GOODNESS! I love, and I do mean LOVE this mini art quilt. Lighthouses are some of my favorite things and this scene is beautiful. My husband and I always talk about taking a trip to Maine but it hasn't happened, maybe some day. I'd love to see the ocean and experience what you were talking about in your message. Thank you buddie, WONDERFUL job!
Comment: Wow! What a wonderful Mug Rug. You out did yourself. Love the pieced work you did. And the scissors holder, another Wow! You do outstanding work and deserve several hearts. And thanks for the teas too. My sister does silk ribbon embroidery. Do you have a pattern for the one you did. She said she would share patterns. Thanks again for a wondeful surprise. bearnbabs
Comment: OMG!!! The bathing fruits are hilarious! What charming fabrics you sent! And thank you so much for the bonus nine-patch squares! Your piecing is lovely, and I will be delighted to add these squares to one of my quilt projects! You really went above and beyond. Thank you!!
