Comment: I'm sorry to rate a 1 but I never got anything. Maybe something happened? I hope you are okay. Well, will rerate if received. tried contacting a few times and was told they would resend but never got anything again. :(
Comment: Thanks for the lighthouse postcard, Heather! I had a chance to see both of these about 20 years ago when vacationing in VA. I knew a gall with your last name-Carrie was her 1st name and she lived in Vero Beach, FL. thanks again! Carol in Denver
Comment: Heather, thank you for the Oregon coast postcard. Wouldn't mind being there now. Well, thank goodness that horrible weather has left us. I am never been so cold in a long time. With the road conditions, we couldn't get out of our neighborhood until Tuesday. Today, it hit 70, go figure. That is the weather. Hope you enjoyed CA. Shirley
Comment: Thanks for your card Heather! We have such mild temperatures here now, but nevertheless stormy! I cannot wait for spring weather to arrive. Like you, the cold weather is just not for me.. Happy swapping <3
Comment: Thank you for the Nessie postcard! I recently aquifer some Hodag postcards, and I've got one Sasquatch left for these swaps. Funny story...the first two rounds I planned to send a kangaroo postcard as it's definitely not one we see here. Both times I had a Australian partner 😂 So I sent an armadillo and an opossum postcard for those. I was able to trade for a few above mentioned postcards with another member though so I can continue with this series. I am really enjoying it!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful lighthouse postcard from NC via VA! I love your dedication to those beautiful buildings. Your passionate account of your travels to them makes me wish I lived on the Atlantic Coast! Happy vacationing and Happy Swapping
Comment: Hi Heather -- thanks for the neat card. Have you been to the Army's Medical Museum? it used to be at Walter Reed, outside Wash DC, but it might have moved. Fascinating history and artifacts of battlefield medicine; also, fragments of Lincoln's skull (!) and, famously, a giant hairball, lol. Best, al
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful card :) Oh i tell ya the summer up here is beautiful too! You would get to see the beautiful wildflowers up here :) That's a great goal with hitting all the states! Am getting close to hitting all of them, nearly done with the Canadian Provinces though :) Thank you again for the card :)
Comment: I love the postcard. I'm from Maryland and blue crabs are my favorite. We have a boat and spend a lot of time on the water with that comes crabs. I have ordered lots of postcards from Max and Post. She has the best selection and very good prices. What's your address I'll send you one.
Comment: Thank you for the Virginia Beach PC. I've never been there but would love to see it. 60 postcards at one time is quite a bit, but I'm not judging at all. I love them, too. We had a fabulous time at Disney World and can't wait to go back!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely postcard and yay for kinder eggs!!! the kind thats one sides a chocolate treat with a spoon / scoop and the other side is a toy are popping up in world market import stores around here!!
Comment: What a cool postcard!! OMG I cannot say the name of that whale if my life depended on it lol. Thank you for participating in my swap! How does one domesticate a flesh eating beetle?
Response: Lol! Did I write domesticated? They're Dermestid beetles, but they are quite tame! Very easy to take care of as long as temps are kept between about 70 and 85 degrees... too much cooler and they die off, but hotter and they start to fly!
Comment: Thank you for your lovely message. I hope we are paired up when we get to "n!" I'm sorry about the cows. I had to go to Iceland to see puffins, so maybe you will have better luck there someday - the don't have any cows there (hairy or otherwise), so definitely better odds.
Response: Lol! We actually had a short layover in Iceland... I thought about trying to scurry out and try to quickly find some, but ended up thinking better of that idea!
Comment: A fellow witch and geek/nerd! I love RPGs, and my favorite ever is Dragon Age. Have you played it? It's on PC and XBox. I, too, believe in reincarnation. We come back again and again, with new knowledge, and because of this we each of us just "know things" or have a knack for this or that and can't explain it. BTW I loooooove the card!
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome postcard, but even more for all you wrote! I loved hearing about your name, and I have to share that I've seen the saints play about 4 times. Hubby was a Miami fan back in college, and I'm a life long San Fran fan, so we've been to see Miami and N.O. Play once, and SF and NO play three times. Sorry though, I've got no love for your team 😂 I'm looking forward to looking up the story you mentioned when I finish opening all my mail. Thanks again!
Comment: WOW!!!! What a great package!!!! I feel so spoiled!!! I love everything! Those beautiful seeds pods I am going to hang on my Yule tree. I love the little hands and the stones. The feathers in the pretty little envelope I am going to tuck in my BOS and everything else is on my altar. xoxoxoxoxxo 1000000 hearts for you!!!
Comment: Thank you so much Heather, for the beautiful swap! I am so in love with the old photos, and the little book is amazing, and the sweet trims. Everything is absolutely perfect, and so thoughtful!
Comment: Heather, thank you so much for the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse. I also love the great brick ones. I have only been to one lighthouse on the Outer Banks so far. We have lived here for 5 years. I loved the ones along the New England shores. Shirley
Comment: Wow, I LOVE this pc showing the "Uneeda Biscuit" sign - thank you! I wasn't aware that type is referred to as a 'ghost' sign, so I learned something too! :o)
I love the sound of waves crashing too, and standing on a beach staring out to sea. Perhaps the best possible location for me would be a cabin in the woods near the edge of a sea cliff? Or a simple beach house, with access to woods right behind me, and mountains so close I could be in them in 15 minutes. Yup, that would be pretty dreamy. But limited to only one, it would have to be the woods!

My goodness! Thank you for not only sending smart items for the themes (the witchballs are awesome!), but also items that are new and in outstanding condition. It felt like my Bday! I love the books - which will come in handy as the winter months roll in. All the Edgar Allen Poe stuff!!!! So this museum you frequent - can I come with next time ;) The skull washis, the rat stickers, the dragon stamp, the halloween hanging thingie, postcards, photos etcetcetc (Deep Breath!) My goodness Heather - you are amazing. Thank you!!! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸

Comment: Thank you for the great postcard of Virgin and taking the time to choose an UNESCO tentative postcard for me. <3 Soon I'll start a swap about "Unesco tentives" and I would be glad if you like to join. :)
Comment: Hello again Heather. This time I won't forget to rate you the day I received your postcard.
Thank you very much for it. I like it very much. So nice that you could find a favorite for me. I hope you will receive my postcard in this swap really soon.
Comment: Thank you for the pretty postcard. This has been the longest, coldest, wettest Winter in 24 years. I am so fed up with it. The wildflowers are flourishing so this gives me hope that the end is near. lol
Comment: Thanks for your beautiful lighthouse postcard and please feel free to let me know when you are available for a private swap.
Response: I will! I'll need to go get more postcards first;) I started a "lighthouse lovers" group because I couldn't get a response from anyone from the other lighthouse group. Maybe there will be more interested lighthouse people to swap with!
Comment: Thanks for the card of the Cape Henry Lighthouse. It's quite nice. Unfortunately some parts of the picture side of the card are damaged, it's got a big ugly white stain where all the colour is rubbed off :(
Response: :( I'm so sorry that the card was damaged in transit. I feel like the postal service goes out of their way sometimes to mess up postcards! I guess it gives them character. I can try to send another one, but I'm not sure I have the same card still.
Comment: Hello and thank you for the VA state Capitol card! Sounds like you live right in the middle of a lot of great things to keep you occupied! I have been to Washington DC once (1988) but would like to go again one day. I hope your day is wonderful - thank you again and have a great day!
Comment: Thank you for the Virginia card! I love all the views on it!
also always glad to hear of people loving bugs! being an entomologist would be great, but i follow a few of the, and, yeah, the majority of their stuff is traveling and research and not much money for it. Unfortunate! But youd get to travel a lot i guess.
Comment: Heather, what an interesting postcard you sent. I quite enjoyed looking at it from several different angles. You made an EXCELLENT choice in NOT sending the bright pink Flamingos card. While I love flamingos...... blues are a much better choice for me!!! Happy swapping!!
Comment: I do love the postcard. Thank you. The flowers are beautiful. I hit a few bumps during the holidays as well lol. Back on track now though. I totally agree about the magnolias. Love to let them open up inside and smell up the whole house!
Comment: Heather,Thank you so much for the awesome swap goodies! You made my day =) You were so thoughtful, you really put a lot of effort into it,you spelled name in scrabble tiles! Ladybug beads! I love the tiny cranes u made, I have a lot of teas- but never that one, cant wait to try it.And the extas, I love that choc.mint gum.Everything is awesome,Thank you so much!
Comment: YESSSSSSS! Thank you so much for the great postcard! I am honored to have your first handmade postcard and hope you continue to make more great art this way! I am actually doing a lot of research lately on circus and sideshow culture and medicine shows so, your theme was a perfect fit! Great style and thanks for putting so much energy into our swap! Keep up the awesome, Heather!
Comment: Thank you for the cards. I especially like the man building the Empire State Building. What kind of person thought it wise to cling to a wire like that. It is a reminder that people do what they have to do.
Comment: Love the postcards and appreciate the note! Thanks! :) Good luck on the crocheting. You are right, YouTube is a great resource. Now I just need to pry myself away from the computer. lol Enjoy the caches! :)
Comment: Great funny gift, a stud finder. I am sure if I ask my husband if we need a stud finder he will say, WHY? I am right here. Our anniversary is the 16th. I think I will give it to him as a gag gift and then maybe he will use it or regift it. BTW the extras were great. Loved the postcards and the joker cards.
Comment: I have to go to Salt Lake to get my Russian fix. They have quite a few little shops there. I load up on sweets, breads, and deli items and head back home for a few months. Mm...
Awesome card, thank you!
