Comment: What a perfect tent pc! Love it. We have a fave pizza place in Savannah. And where we get walking dead stuff in senoia there's a local place we love there too.... thanks for cool pc. Today we went to a huge car show in senoia. Wow.
Comment: We love getting Alaska mail~!!!!! dogs can be so much more fun than cats. ha . ours have been not so well behaved lately. they are fighting more. bunny sounds cool to! thanks so much for the pc!
Comment: Hi Shell! Received the Vermont pc in my mailbox today! Thank you for sharing a part of your trip last year! Hope you are enjoying the local syrups! Sounds marvelous! Have s great end to summer! Fall is round the corner!
Comment: Great postcard! Great swap idea...I missed #1 but I'm hoping I notice the next one you do! My neighbor has a snow rake and every time it snows she does all around her house...me, I'm more the type to just cross my fingers and hope I don't have a problem! Of course I think that you probably get much more snow than we do here so good on your husband for shoveling the roof. Thanks for the swap!
Comment: Sheli, the postcard is fantastic. I can't imagine 60 below zero and I am from the Northeast originally. They have had some very cold weather this year but nothing to compare with 60 below. We are experiencing very cold rainy weather here in Eastern North Carolina. We usuallly
are in the 70's now but the weather has been staying in the high 40's. Yuk!! Really can not wait for spring this year. Thank you for the postcard. Shirley
Comment: Hi again Sheli! Hope the storm did not mess the roads up too much! We had 8 inches of rain last weekend, so there were a few roads floated but thankfully we sit high and dry! A blessing to be sure! Thanks for the great pc and share! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. Yeah I definitly like the travel dress code. Well looking outside the window I would prefer to wear my polar jacket, scarf...By the way believe it or not today I received two postcards about caverns. And now enjoy the evening
Comment: I love Alaska mail! Thank u for santa. I love that you have never sent us the same postcard twice. Drats that yall can't see in Santa's house. Hopefully you will be able to get more sweet postcards. The Walmart I get cards form has a new one I plan on sending u soon. Happy weekend
Comment: Thanks for swapping with me again, Sheli! I have a friend who lives in Alaska, though I think he's over in Anchorage! We have been having similar weather here in Ohio, so good to know that if I ever visit Alaska at some point, the weather will not be a surprise, ha ha.
Comment: Thank you for Dinosaur card. I have not been to Alberta - er um yet! We did have a dinosaur found in Thornton, Colorado recently and is at our Museum downtown where they are working on cleaning it up.
Comment: Hello again! The cats have shown little interest in the catio with the weather and temperatures being like they are. Can't say I blame them. When it's warm they love chasing and killing moths. For some reason the area has a huge moth population. I have lots of vacuum sealed storage bags for my linens and winter clothes as well as cedar balls because I'm not okay with moths getting into my fabric collection. Every quilter's nightmare.
Comment: Thank you for the bear card and compliments! We've set up bird feeders in the front yard for the cats to be entertained during the winter because the catio and basically a very large fully enclosed deck...and it's very cold. The birds love the food and it keeps the cats entertained. Yay! I'm looking forward to spring and so are the cats.
Comment: This is a fantastic card! I bet that being in the "North Poll" is a great tourist draw. It must be nuts this time of year, despite the cold, snow, and darkness.
Response: Glad you like it :) Oh yeah with Santa's House and his reindeer - and people coming up for Northern Light viewing, it gets busy up here :) Now we start getting into the dog mushing season where a few of the big mushing races start up. We get people here from all over the world to mush in some of the races.
Comment: Hi, Sheli, I can’t imagine that 28 degrees is warm! It’s getting into the low 20s here tonight but no snow. I’m off this week so snow would be such a fun surprise (for me anyway, lol). I bet it gets tiresome where you live. Love the multi-view pc from North Pole, Alaska...very fitting for this time of year! So glad to meet another ID Channel fan! Wishing you a wonderful New Year!
Response: :) well the 28 is warm when we are normally -45 haha... We are having a bit of a cold snap - supposed to be close to -30F I'm one of those odd ducks that enjoy the winter time here...i don't mind the cold, just don't like the fear of broken pipes or car breaking down...great snuggling weather! :) We just got rid of cable, so trying to find a way to get our ID fix! haha
Comment: Hiya! Thank you for the bear card! I've never seen bears in wild here, they don't live here in the capital but some way to the east. Elks I've seen though 😊 We are having quite warm too.. no snow and occasional rain/sleet. It's hoovering around 32°F, often freezes during night and warms up a bit for the day. Hope to get snow!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! See you in swaps in 2018!
Comment: Thank you for the very lovely Forget-Me-Not Flower postcard. It came via Taipei :) and has a "MISSENT TO TAIPEI" stamp on it (which we think only makes it even more lovelier). We wonder what it has seen on it's way! And, we did not know that Forget-Me-Nots were Alaska's state flower! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Response: Wow! That sure took a nice little side trip/scenic route! ha! How cool that they even stamped it! Glad it arrived :)
Comment: Hi! I can honestly say I've never seen a halibut before, so I found this postcard very interesting! We are 40 degrees warmer here at 22 degrees currently. Of course it's 4am and we will get up to nearly 50 during the day today I'm sure. I hope you guys stay warm, and thanks so much for the cool pc!
Comment: Thank you again for making this swap! I got your card today, I love the igloo! I don't think I could handle -60. It's bad enough when we hit 10 during the day here lol! (we are due to be in the teens at night next week!) ♥ when the trees are covered too! Have a great week!
Comment: Hey wait a minute - Minnesota's state bird is the Mosquito!
Response: hahah...yeah we got to Minnesota often and those little guys are biters there too!! and LOTS of them! Out where we live we get huge skeeters and lots of them because of all the ponds and swampy areas. They could probably carry off a good size rabbit hahah!!
Comment: I lived 20 miles south of the Canadian border when I was a child, living in North Dakota. School only got canceled when it was a windchill of at least -40 F because winters there are brutal. At least the snow is pretty! I love snow, and I love the card. The bear with its face covered in snow is ADORABLE!
Comment: Hi Sheli! Thanks so much for the cute Thanksgiving card! I just love it! How wonderful that you enjoy cooking - not this gal!! LOL! It is tough being an empty nester but I can tell you, it does get easier as time goes on! Hugs, Happy Thanksgiving, and Swapping! ;)
Comment: Dear Sheli,
I just want to thank you for the North Pole, Alaska card that you sent! How I wish I could have my blank Alaska card here written and stamped from your place! Anyways, I also love these roulette swaps too, but I think I got banned from joining because I got behind schedule in sending out for this swap. But hey, at least I am back again. Hihi... I hope it wouldn't be too cold for you there during December. Here, temperature is pretty average when it's December and becomes chilly during February. Hihi! Cheers~
Comment: I love this postcard!!! With the transportation swap I worried when I mailed off a stagecoach postcard but I was thinking outside the box and I see that you too were thinking outside the box! Love the story about family using dog sleds! You really made my day! Thanks so much!
Comment: I went to Fairbanks a few times when I lived in Anchorage.
Response: I love the drive between Anchorage and Fairbanks. We usually mix it up and do one highway down and the other on the way back when we visit Anchorage...The old hi-way is my favorite though, less traffic :)
Comment: Love the goat!!! Squee u find the cutest postcards. Thank u ms sheli. We have 80 weather this week although last Sunday it was freezing and I had boots on now I have my flip flops out again and tanks and shorts. Thank u
Comment: Thank you Sheli! Wow, Alaska mountains views of Mt. Sanford & Mt. Drum PC! This PC going up on display in my apt. You kitties sound so cute, huggable. Imagine you daughter examines menus, website before ordering food from restaurants. Thankfully there are some not using MSG, etc., I can go out to those restaurants with my family. Happy November!
Comment: Thank you so much for the great note, and I LOVED my I Believe magnet! I just received it this afternoon and put it right up on my fridge where it will stay all year long! I also loved the Mt. Dinali postcard as well! I hope your winter doesn't get too rough and cold! Best Wishes!
Response: Oh awesome! Got there pretty fast too! Glad you liked it ;)
Comment: Thank you so much for the great Alaska PCs. The igloo one (and the previous one you sent) fascinates me, and I love the Iditarod one - what gorgeous dogs! As for the Alaskan State Bird, I think I'll pass on that - I never thought about mosquitos being that far north - I hate them! Thanks again for such great PCs and hope to see you again in future swaps ~~
Comment: Hi Sheli, Thanks so much for the lovely card and my treats! Love the stickies and this is a new tea for me to try. Yay! I've been pen palling/swapping/trading on many sites for many years and this is my first mail from Alaska. You represent your state well! Happy Halloween!
Comment: I lived in Sitka for awhile and made it to Anchorage and Skagway, but never did get up to the North Pole. Bet you are headed for darkness aren't you - poor thing.
Response: I used to live in Anchorage too :) Only thing I really miss is the hiking up Flat Top and road trips to Portage. It has gotten too big city and lots of crime lately. Oh and I miss those mild temps in the winter and summer :) Oh yeah we are getting into our dark times, it's getting dark around 730pm or so now. Snow should be falling anytime now, mountains tops have the termination dust :)
Comment: Sheli, thank you for the postcard of Ketchikan, AL. I can't even begin to think of snow when it has been in the mid 80's all week. Shirley
Response: Oh nice! 80's is like a hot summer day ! :) We thought yesterday was going to be the big snow day....only got it in the hills - got ALOT of rain though in the town area. We are going to have webbed toes before the snow falls hahah!
Comment: Thank you for the Alaska "midnight sun" PC....have you lived there a long time? It would be a major adjustment to most to live there I think! Here in NY we are having a spectacular fall...cool mornings, warm days and the leaves in all there glorious colors!....WARM hugs for your winter,,,Charlene
Response: you're welcome :) been in Alaska close to 50 years now. I tried to escape once - went to Hawaii - came back haha! Glad it didn't work out, I think I was meant to live in North Pole Alaska forever :) Now we just travel and visit different states which is nice :)
Comment: As always u r an awesome host and sender. So glad we found one another a year ago and became fast friends. I love the dinosaur card even tho he's not a Dino. Micah read the card to me today. He is becoming quite good at it. Thanks again and HApy fall
Response: aww thanks! yeah they didn't have Dino cards, just the real dinosaur ones at the museum. Tell Micah Hi !! :)
Comment: Your story of the squirrels chasing the birds off made me giggle. (Love the wolf PC) I bet that would be a cats heaven to be surrounded with all that. My favorite thing to do in the morning is sit on my patio drinking my cup of coffee and watching the birds eat from the feeder I put in the tree. When the leaves fall I will put more bird treats out so I can enjoy them being around and chirp away. Take care. ~ Rebecca
Comment: Thank you so much for an Alaska postcard ! am so jealous to hear that you have at least two of your three cats that watch what you do. I have three animals two dogs and one cat and none of them have any interest in what I am doing unless it means feeding them or petting them. I guess your pets love you more then mine love me...lol. Do you bring them on your road trip? Have a great day =D.
Comment: Hello Sheli,
Thank you for your Alaska postcard that fit PCG A is for.... Swap. I have visited Alaska 3 or 4 times while my sister and brother-in-law lived there for almost 21 years They liked it while they were there but they were ready for a change of scenery. Your trip you are going to take sounds wonderful. This is a nice postcard to start off my ABCs. Have a Great Week!
Comment: Sheli, just checked your weather...26 but going to 46 today...whoo-hoo...spring's on the way! Sending you some of our sunshine ...lovely Easter wknd ahead. Sending warm thoughts and hugs for you, and many thanks for sending this PC. jinanne
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful post card you sent me, I adore animals, I love wolves ... on the other hand, receiving a postcard from Alaska seems cool, great, fantastic, Alaska seems so, but so far ... I suppose the same thing happens to you with Chile, far, far away, hahaha
Greetings from Chile
Comment: I love the PC of the moose calves - they are so darn cute. My son lives in Maine and they have moose up there but I've never seen a young one - it must be so interesting to see the babies and how they grow. I have deer that visit my back wooded area and it's also such fun to see the newbies. . . I also have a lake at the end of my street so we get the new little ducks too. Thanks again for the great PC and hope you have a great weekend ~~
Comment: Wow wolves thru the doggy door??? Thank you
Response: ohhh yeah ! the inlaws have a 2 door doggy door system for their little dogs. So when the wolves come into town, the dog only get let out with someone to watch them, and doggie doors get secured. A couple winters ago when the wolves came in the area, they were hunting anything to eat...so people kinda learned the hard way that keeping their dogs outside unattended wasn't a smart thing. Had a friend who actually chase down a couple of wolves because one of them had his full grown black lab in its mouth running off...thankfully he caught up to the wolf and got his dog back. Crazy!
Comment: Sheli! You crack me up! Here I am in Texas and today's weather is high of 84 degrees. This morning it was 70 at 7am. I was freezing and your PC says there was 18 degrees, Clear and warm! Ha!! THanks for the PC! I especially like the Puffin!
Response: oh my goodness! I would melt at 84! haha...we finally are getting warmer at night, so not waking up to our usual -30 that we were having. Yeah! summer is making an effort to get here finally :) Glad you like the card :)
Comment: I never thought of sewing machines as backwards. When I worked in fast food I had so much trouble with the fry scoop. I have always had trouble with scissors and golf clubs. Love the mosquito card u chose. Micah has learned who Sheli is and gets excited when he reads it and realizes where it came from. Super excited. Bout his sheli care package. â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ðŸ˜ŠðŸ˜ŠðŸ˜ŠðŸ˜Š
Comment: Sheli thank you for the Deadliest Catch postcard. Love to watch that tv series even though they do such dangerous work. I love to eat those king crab legs with lots of butter. Just love your town with the candy cane street lights. So neat. Shirley
Response: Glad you like it! That is one of my favorite seafood! You know something, we even keep our tree up year round.its on our ceiling so the cats don't destroy it haha! I should find a pic of it and put it on my profile tomorrow
Comment: Hello! Thank you so much for the wonderful note on this wonderful postcard. Thank you a million times over for reading my profile and commenting on my suggestions for what to write on postcards. You know as well as I so many people write such boring stuff. I like to find out just a little about who's sending me the postcard once again thank you it really made me smile
Comment: Thanks for the map card, I welcome it to my collection! I must add I find snowing and warm an impossible combination, but I bet I havent seen anythin yet :)
Response: your welcome :) yeah isn't it weird snowing and warm....but it has to warm up for it to snow here...haha..like we were hanging around -20 to -30F this past week (was -40 at our house every morning ugh! ) Today it warmed up to 7 above! and now it's snowing haha! wish summer would make an effort to start :)
Comment: Thanks for the great card - I'm still rather shocked over your weather. It's been going back and forth the freezing point in here. I'm quite sick and tired of the slush and it's super slippery too. I'm also waiting for the spring to arrive!
Comment: Sheli, Loved the Grizzly Bear postcard! My younger brother lived in Palmer Alaska and also in Anchorage. He is now back in Colorado. My son and I went to visit him one summer, saw the "bed races", saw many Moose in his yard, and saw many Orca and puffins on the whale watching trip we took! We walked on Matanuska too... it was so beautiful! Funny about the bears... he has a bear (not a grizzly) that often walks down his drive or sits across the river from the house in Colorado! I bet it was really scary to see the one at your in-laws! I think I would freak out if I saw one! Thank you for the fantastic Grizzly PC!! Happy Swapping!' Leslie (RiverTopanga)
Response: Glad you like it! Aren't those cruises fun? We go on a Glacier viewing one every other summer or so. Get to see puffins and sea lions, otters and such - the last one we went on we got to see a big piece calf off..was GREAT! That's one thing I've never done was walk on the Matanuska - have sledded down a glacier down by Portage though - that was scary, was always afraid of falling down a crevice. Thankfully when the grizzly was in the inlaws yard, there was a breeze blowing the right direction so he couldn't smell us....but for the split second it shifted, he did get a whiff of us and bluff charged us...I think that was the fastest I moved in years to get in the house haha!! Glad you like the card :)
Comment: Thank you for the delicious panettone deckle-edged card! I am so glad you also love this; my parents used to give this out as presents for close family friends. I remember one year, my cousin Josh, who does karate, ate the majority of his family's loaf within a day! XD I also agree that it's a good thing it's not available year-round (although I found several promising-sounding recipes, and King Arthur's Flour sells the pretty rigid wax wrappers/ramekins), especially since it's so easy to eat :O
Comment: Love the postcard! I would love to see the Northern Lights someday, but -2 degrees scares me! We have temperatures in the low 80s currently (Florida) and it will only go up from here! Happy Valentine's Day!
Comment: Such a thoughtful and beautiful package! I love the postcards and the keychains! The one shaped like a key with your towns seal on it is so cool!! Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and sweet package! :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the nice postcard. I don't know how you do it...-15 degrees. Brrrr! I freeze at anything below 72. Tonight it is 55 and I am sitting here at my desk with the heater on. I bet the scenery and wild life is inspiring. I never saw a moose. I bet they are awesome in person.
Comment: Tack, Sheli!
I love mountains, they are so majestic. I love being surrounded by them here. Of course those in the Coast Mountain Range are no where near the size of Denali.
Have you seen what a moose can do to a tractor (semi)? Totaled my cousin's rig. Drove the engine back into the cab and fractured Sandy's legs.
Stay safe. Swap you later...
Comment: Thanks for letter and travel brochures. New England next summer (if you get this far East) may be a good place to buy antiques. Here on Cape Cod not what you're looking for -so many antique stores here & prices high. But in small town New England you'll find stuff. If you get this far you'll find it a beautiful place to visit.
Response: You're welcome :) yeah we mostly hit small little towns, we use google earth alot when in our planning phase so we can check out the town a bit to see where the stores in the area are and if we can park the RV close by - print out the ones we definitely want to check out :) am excited to go :)
Comment: I will look at this beautiful grizzly on this postcard from a distance :) Thank you!
Response: :) atleast that one can't hurt you :) We had a grizzly at the in-laws one summer. It did a bluff rush towards us...I couldn't get in the house fast enough I tell ya! he was after squirrel nests in the trees - he would bat those things down like pinatas! was great watching him from inside the house :)
Comment: Thank you - Yikes -42 degrees? is that correct? An Adams sure knew where to stand!
Response: You're welcome :) yeah it gets even colder at times...we sometimes get to -60 and possibly colder, my thermometer only goes to -60. The house makes popping noises and we have to put blankets on some of the outter walls and all the windows to keep it warm in the house...
Comment: Hi Sheli! TY for the beautiful pc and it sounds soooo cold there - yikes! I have never been to Alaska but hope to someday! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: Hiya! you're welcome :) oh yeah we do get our cold snaps, but makes us appreciate those 24 hour daylight summers :) It's beautiful up here, my favorite time is the fall when where are less mosquitoes and full of those orange and rusty fall colors :)
Comment: Great map PC - I have AK on my travel bucket list - there is family history related to naming Juneau (not sure how true it is). I now know someone from the city of 'North Pole', AK
(P.S. I thought that was so cool I posted on Twitter @grusMailCrafter)
Take care, Annette
Response: :) It's a beautiful state - my favorite time is fall with all the beautiful colors and wildlife out and about. Santa even lives up the road from me!!! haha ✿♥‿♥✿
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Denali PC! I sure do miss seeing those mountains.
Response: You are welcome :) Love the drive down and around in the park...The drive to Anchorage is beautiful in that area...but don't like the whole ending up in Anchorage part..haha..need a highway over or around there to continue on to Portage area haha!
Comment: OK, you know that you are tired when you read the card and think it says, "Denial". I was like, "Self, this lady is awesome - how do you get a picture of "denial". LOL Thanks for the postcard of Denali, it looks cold and breathtaking.
Response: :) haha!! Thank you for the great giggle :) That's one of our favorite places to drive to - so colorful in the fall. :)
Comment: Thanks for the Denali card. I was in Anchorage the entire time I was in Alaska. I worked at Title Wave Books.
Response: You're welcome :) oh lived there for about 15 or so years :) Only thing I really miss from there was the great weather...so much warmer then the Fairbanks area haha! oh and the great hiking up flat-top! Have a good one!
Comment: Thanks for the PC.😊Otters are fascinating creatures. I would love to see bears and moose in there natural setting. My best friend actually sent me this same card from Prudhoe Bay (Dead Horse, Alaska)
Response: You are welcome - oh how funny it was the same card from your friend in Prudhoe haha!
Comment: Sheli, thank you for this great postcard of North Pole, Alaska. It is definitely my favorite postcard of our 3,000. I am putting it first in my USA folder. Again thank you and Happy new year. Shirley
Response: You're welcome Shirley :) glad you like it :) Happy New years to you too :)
Comment: Love the Igloo pc! It's a shame it's never been finished, but does still look like a fun stop. It seems you also sent Arctic air as we have brief freezing temps then back to the 70s in a few. =)
Response: Isn't that cool! I remember going past that thing on our road trips to Anchorage as a kid and waiting for it to open so we could go inside...then watching it through the years be attempted to finish. The little gas station was a great place to stop to fill up the tank and get some sweets. It's still there, but boarded up :)
Comment: Thank you for the new Alaska map. It is different than the others I have. -2 actually is just a little below what it has been here this week. We woke up to 2 mornings in a row with 1 deg temps. And highs only in the teens. The snow we got Tuesday night is not melting except for the roads that have been plowed and treated.
Response: You're welcome :) right now that -2 would feel like a nice heat wave haha! we are supposed to be getting closer to -45 soon...ugh..so not ready, to feel that cold yet :) But good excuse to hunker down with a nice warm drink and work on some crochet :)
Comment: Thank you for pc about the highest mountain in Alaska. Here it became pretty cold- (for us minus -9 is a lot:)....still no real snow...but some time is left. I stay optimistic. Have an awesome 2017. :)
Response: You're welcome ;) hope you have an awesome 2017 as well ;)
Comment: Thank you for the great swap. I love thee patch and the stickers. I can't stand the cold and yet you are getting -40. I am complaining that we are supposed to get -1 this Saturday. If I could rate more than one I would. Have a merry Christmas and stay warm.
Comment: I love the card and that show. tell your Husband i think the boys in blue well make a post season run this year
Thanks Again 85Royals15
Response: Oh good glad it got there in good time! I tell ya, being married to him has made me enjoy sports...our house has Royals flags, license plates and pennants all throughout haha hope they do well again and soon ;)
Comment: I saw those cards at Barnes and Noble and almost bought them myself! I'm so glad I ended up with a pudgy kitty card. I bet your chunksters are adorable. I have a fondness for pudgy kitties but sadly mine is this small trim thing. Still cute though ;) Meowy Christmas! ♥
Response: Aren't those great! Love those funny cards ;) one of ours is moody, but the other 2 are such snugglers ;) Meowy Christmas too you too ;)
Comment: Well, this is awesome to get a Christmas postcard from the North Pole! Thanks for sharing all your traditions. I especially like the one about you looking at Christmas lights in your pyjamas. Might have to adopt it with my boys this year. Merry Christmas! :)
Response: Oh glad it arrived! ;) the light looking in pajamas is great, throw a thermos of cocoa in the car for drinks and blankets to snuggle under - one of our favorites ;) daughter and I started that back when it was just her and I;)
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! I've always wanted to live in Alaska! There's no snow here, none that has stuck anyway, but maybe soon.
Response: I don't know how to get without cold and snow for winter. Throws me off when we travel to the lower 48 states and it gets dark at night in summer, just weird to see stars at night in summer haha
Comment: Your package arrived here already.
I found your lovely kitchen towel from ALASKA when I came back from autumn vacation.Yay It's my first time to receive from ALASKA.In addition to that, thanks for sending beautiful cards .
Response: You are welcome ;) glad you like the goodies ;)
Comment: I guuess can openers are a challenge for all of us lefties :)
Have you tried turning binders and notebooks so the binding is on the right? That way you may be writing on the back side of the page, but without stuff getting in your way :)
Comment: OMG! Sheli! I had no idea that there is an actual North Pole in Alaska! I think it would be awesome to live in a year round Santa's village! Thanks for the lovely PC
Response: it was great growing up here, Santa house is open during the summer, so as kids we would spend quite a bit of time visiting :) Now it's a huge house with a herd of reindeer in the side yard - still cool to visit :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the bird postcard! I pointed out the puffin to my husband before I read your card; I did not know they were in Alaska; that makes me so happy! They were in Scotland, but we did not take the boat trip to see them! Guess they get away from people no matter where they live! Thank you so much!!!
Response: I have only seen the puffin when we go out in the boats on the glacier cruises - never seen them before because we live so far inland. So neat to see out in the wild :)
Comment: Thank you for the nice card and postcard. Wow, 10º F, and I thought it was going to be cold in Florida with the low in the 30's..For us, anything under 60 is considered freezing! â„ï¸
Your right about the news. Glad the election is over and we don't have to watch any more commercials! Stay warm and have a great Thanksgiving and
Comment: Loved the card with the baby stuffing his/her face? Either way very cute! Wish I could try your 101lbs of mashed taters & Black Bottom Pie! You sure are making me hungry over here lol enjoy your Holiday! ~R.S.
Comment: Thanks for the tangles and the post cards. So glad you enjoyed doing them. I hope you continue to practice. It is a great way to keep balance in your life! If you would like to check out my blog site, please go to:
Comment: Thank you for the charming fox card, Sheli! Glad you meet another Postcrosser :) I half-joke that I want to keep the USPS in business with my mailings, heheh... Hope you are having a good week, and thank you for brightening this dreary, rainy Monday <3
Comment: Thank you!
I've always wanted to see Denali. I've been on an Alaskan cruise, and it was incredible. I actually tried to talk my husband into moving to somewhere in Alaska, but he wasn't keen on the idea.
Response: OH it's so beautiful here - have lived in different areas of the state, miss the warmer temperatures around Anchorage and Palmer haha! If he's into hunting or fishing, just clue him in this state is great for it :) haha and great hiking too! :)
Comment: 5F is Cold! Wow! Glad we don't see those temps much.... but we do see them. :/
Happy swapping to you....
Response: yeah 5F is cold, until about January when 5F will feel like summer temps - soon we will be dipping down into the negative temps - not looking forward to that just yet, not enough snow for that to happen and our pipes not freeze up
Comment: Thank you for the cute postcard! It apparently had an adventure on the way south, it got to me in a little USPS apology baggy, lol! I could still make out the picture and your message, though. It made me laugh. XD Thanks so much!
Response: OH wow, it must of had a wild ride on it's way to you....let me know if you would like another one :)
Comment: Your RV trip sounded really cool! I told my boyfriend about it because we love roadtripping and he made a face because the drive is so long. But I bet he'd be ok if we had an RV! maybe someday lol
Response: thank you for the rating :) Oh the drives are awesome! yeah and the RV makes it more enjoyable :) cant wait for this next summer's RV trip - heading to the east coast! :) will be another long one - about 68 days :)
