Comment: I like thiss card, I enjoyed reading your message and I like the stickers. The stamp wasn't cnaceled, oh well. I'm VERY glad that it likes Artic waters. I won't ever run into one of them. I grew up in Texas. There was a seaon for Man-O-War jellyfish were everywhere. Us kids were scared of them. They are pretty but we wouldn't go in the water when they were around.ha ha ha This card brought up happy memories of my childhood, thank you sweetie.
Comment: Thank you for this fabulous little "quit procrastinating book"! I totally agree that fake deadlines are part of my problem (because I can't lie to myself). I'm really going to take the "Restart" advice to heart --I gotta remind myself that it's okay to toss a bad job out and start again; not everything can or should be salvaged.
And congratulations on medical school!! I've made a small dent in my mail pile, so I will write soon.
Comment: Beth, this is simply gorgeous! I am in awe that you actually painted these papers! What an amazing talent you have. Loved your sweet note and the extras you sent but the painting . . . oh the painting . . . I can't get over it!
Response: I used alcohol-based markers, not paint! That is my secret.:)
Comment: Hello Beth,
Thank you for the nice selection of items you sent me for this swap. The items you
gave are all things I can use in art expressions in the futures. and in the present. I am excited about these pieces.
Comment: Thanks Beth for your swap letter. I enjoyed seeing life thru your eyes as I read your swap letter! Thanks for the gift you sent along! We always long for connection or something that we feel deeply that we miss in our lives........it was great to muse iabout that in my own life! Thanks!
Response: Did I write about that? Haha, I already forgot! :/
Comment: Great postcard, Beth! And, congrats (to both of you) for finishing the MCAT! I have some weird eye things too (funky optic nerve), so I'm always volunteering to let the EM residents do ultrasounds on my eyes to see if they can find the weird parts!
Comment: Hi, this was the first package I received in the mail from swap-bot so I was pretty excited....thank you...I love the washing tape because in my country it's not in abundance and the other stuff I will definitely be using them...thank you Beth.
Comment: Thank you SO much for the lovely package! I loved the items you sent, especially the flower bookmark and lip balm. And I really enjoyed your current favourites too. Thank you so much for swapping with me. Hope my package arrives with you soon. :)
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and your first impressions with me! My favourite part is the necklace (100% my style - I'm amazed!), but everything in your little parcel was gorgeous. Thank you!!!
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome letter! :D Wow, for a sick person, you have done much better than a few of my other partners :P I would love to write back :) All the goodies you enclosed look fun and pretty 💖💕 I also like the deco on the envie and nice stamp too. Thank you for everything!~
Comment: I have received 6 items so far and love everything you sent. Hopefully, I receive a 7th item soon, but maybe it is lost. Thank you for an exciting swap. Have fun!
UPDATE Mar. 2, 2015: The pelican landed in my mailbox this morning. She preferred to fly without priority. Thank you :-)
Response: Uh-oh. Hope you received the cat letter and bird painting. The others can be easily replaced.
Comment: Hi Beth! Thank you for the lovely letter card. I love the letter sets and extras. Everything is so cute. I will definitely be using them. This is my first swap I received, and what a great one it is!
Comment: What a wonderful letter! And I adore the postcards :) Yes, it's true, human evolution does have some annoying gaps, but maybe one of the most interesting things is how contentious the major findings in paleoanthropology are. Ann Gibbons has an excellent book on the subject - The First Human. Those paleoanthros are real characters ;)
Comment: Beth, I got your envelope today, thanks! I love all the little goodies, envelopes, stamps, the owl stickers are too cute! i CANT wait to try the teas. Thanks for swapping with me! I will mail yours very soon :) xoxo
Comment: BETH! OMGggggeee! I can't tell you how much I LOVED what you sent. This was by far, and honestly, the COOLEST and prettiest swap I have ever received! The bookmarks and cards were absolutely stunning. That tea you sent also looks so delicious; I'm so excited to try it! I have received one of those mighty tea bags before and I just thought they were so awesome. Receiving a second from you made my day. It looks like you spent so much money on this swap! I hope you didn't, but thank you soooo much! You are awesome; a thousand hearts to you my friend! BIG HUGS from America! :)
Response: Thanks so much for your comment.:) I actually had most of that stuff lying around my house, except for the cards (I had just bought a set of them and couldn't resist sharing a few). Glad you liked what I sent!
Comment: Hi beth! I got your envie in the mail yesterday, which surprised me, but I liked opening it and reading your letter. I don't mind the the all Canadian teas, either, I'm not very adventurous with buying new teas so its nice to be able to try one or two without having to buy the whole box!
Comment: This was an extra extra special special package. Lucky Me!!! One of a kind layered and hand crafted 2-D card and mini art work drawn on the note plus yummy tea. So many extras that help me as a new crafter- mini Celebrate You cards, large vinyl stamp and two mini rubber stamps -and a strip of embellishments. Thanks so much Hearts and Stars and thanks to you
Comment: Thank you for the tea bags! Quite a few extras too and every single one of them was new to my collection. I love that you sent me Stash tea in flavours I haven't even heard of in tea before. Hazelnut! Very interesting and I'm looking forward to trying them :)
Comment: Thanks Beth for wonderful Turquoise Mail Art and stickers. I enjoyed hearing about your inspiration for making it :) When I saw it in my mailbox I instantly said "awww, look at the cute manatees!"
Comment: Thank you Beth for your letter and extra's. You are a very interesting person :) I love that you are learning the Blackfoot language...how cool is that! Must be difficult. Are there others that you can speak it with? Your teacher must be fascinating. Thank you for sharing about Calgary. Hugs, Linda
Response: Nope, only my classmates at this point. Thanks for the comment.:)
Comment: Thanks for the nice package! I can tell you took time to read my profile and noted my likes and dislikes! :-) I love everything--even the poem I have to sit down and translate when I get a quiet moment! :-)
Comment: Wow!! What a great envelope full of surprises!! I loved everything you sent and look forward to using it all. You put it together quickly very well. The fish ribbon is very funny. Love it. Everything is great. Thank you very much.
Comment: Helllo Beth! Thank you sooo much for your package! I like every bit of paper, the feathers, the yummy teas! Sorry to rate you so late, seems the envelope lost its stamp and it took several days to arrive, i guess :D Thanks again!
Response: I'm pretty sure there were three stamps on there to begin with, actually ...I guess that from now on I should "stick" to sticker stamps! (Ha, ha, ha.)
Comment: Thanks for sharing your inner most thoughts and feelings with me, I loved the lay out with all the photos and the scan of your boo, that made it extra special, I enjoyed reading them all, hugs ☺
Comment: Thank you for the lovely poems! I was happy to see some Canadian poets, ones I was unfamiliar with. I especially liked the one by M. Avison and also "Poems in Braille." I'll have to sit down and seriously reread them all!
Comment: I'm from Maine orriginally so I like the first 2 by Canadian poets :) I have a hard time coping with long poems cuz I have a short attention span but I will set yours aside to read the rest of later when I'm relaxed :) The cat one is cute. I love cats.
Comment: Hi, Thanks so muck for such a lovely book! really like the variety and commentary by you, it is especially neat! And the layout I think is lovely and interesting, something to look at on every page! Thankyou for a really lovely book. I will treasure it. Rachel M.
Comment: I'm a photoshop nut and I know how long it took me to get the hang of it, so I appreciate the effort in fighting with a program you don't 100% understand :D And I love the stickers!! Wonderful ATC ^^
