Comment: Oh 72 is like the perfect summer temp here :) Thank you for the great card, Isle of Wight Thatch looks like a neat place, will have to google it to check it out :) thank you for the great card :)
Response: I mailed this. You didn't say you didn't get it until today and I told you I would remail. As soon as I sent the message you rated me a 1.
**update 12/6/17 im showing another resend was delivered on 12/4.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely card! I love the texture and think it works well with the stamps. I don't actually fish, not since I was a kid, but love the stereotypical image of someone standing on a peer with a poll staring off into the horizon reflecting on the world...Thank you for sharing your card with me!
Comment: thanks so much for the terrific Florida postcard - it's busy with so many memorable places & scenes in your great state: I hope this finds you safe & have my fingers crossed the storm will not mess too much with you!
Comment: Those sound like solid goals for the summer... I had a giant yard sale several years ago and made 6K in 2 weekends...after that I was sick of sales and havent even went to one since then haha ...I miss them from time to time ...Good luck with your goals =)
Comment: Loved the pin on adult color pages with coffee pics:) Thanks for sharing with me. I almost missed your email as it went to my junk mailbox. I always think it best to send these thru the swap-bot messages.
Response: I apologize, my internet is done and icant access swapbot thru cell, i only wrote down electronic in my book.
Comment: Belated, belated thank you for the darling tabby kitty and golden retriever card -- going on my moodboard! -- and the hilarious Mark Twain quote :) In summer 2004, my family took a roadtrip to Dartmouth, so my dad could attend a conference, and we didn't have time to stop at Mr. Twain's home/museum. I still want to go. Hope you are having a good week!
Comment: Belated, belated thank you for the cool vintage big horn sheep card -- I love deckle-edged vintage cards and photographs :) -- and your kind greetings! Hope your inbox has been full of happy mail ♥
Comment: Got it! Sorry it took me a while to go through my mail, but I appreciate you sending a message to check up on it! I've never tried the nail product so I'm excited for that! Also, I looove Rice Krispies so that was a fun surprise. Thank you for a fun swap!
Comment: I'm only a few hours north of you, so we are in the same basket with weather. We are actually getting some smoke and ash from the Georgia wildfire all the way here in Jacksonville. So crazy! Thank you for the card!
Response: we have had some heavy smoke from a forest fire in pasco. was bad.
Comment: Dear Rhonda,
I hope you are having a fine day today :) My apologies for rating just now.. hihi..
To trust in the Lord is sometimes a difficult task to do.. trusting in Him do takes faith.
Thank you for messaging me about the rating :)
Comment: Thank you for the pretty pink dishcloth... My granddaughter Alyssa has appropriated it for her bath time. She's all about pink! I really liked the border you used and the variegated yarn went perfectly with the solid. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you so much for the pretty flower postcard. My favorite flowers are the bluebonnets. They are our state wild flower and are in bloom right now. They will soon be gone for another year. : (
Comment: Thank you for the pretty card! I don't work for myself, I work in Insurance, but I'm not sure that I'd want too. Any passion I may have had for anything has been squashed by student loans, and their repayment amounts prohibits taking any leaps of faith where a paycheck isn't guaranteed. But that's the world we're creating so... C'est la vie. I envy my dog - his job is defending the house from squirrels and kids on their bikes, and so far none of them have breached the perimeter. And even though I see no evidence of potential attacks, he still gets a cookie for his efforts. :)
Comment: I loved the journal, I really like bingo too! And I love chicken and dumplings :D Thank you for the flower seeds and goodies as well! A very lovely read, I hope you are well and having fun on swap bot!
Response: woohoo so glad it made it to you. glad you like the goodies too. im ok thank you.
Comment: Funny to get you as a partner two weeks in a row! You sound very engaged with Jamberry. I did not know their product line was expanding. You are kind to offer a sample packet. I am notorious for not using beauty products though, so best save it for someone else, haha! Have a great day!
Response: i smiled that i had you again too. enjoy your week
Comment: Happy Late St. Patricks! Thank you for the PC, it was funny and festive. :D I am glad you have the opportunity to work at home; it's always nice to be able to control your thermostat in the workplace. ;) I'll let you know if I ever decide to give it a go. Thank You!
Comment: Those definitely are big horn sheep! Probably not found in Florida so much! Ha! We spent January in the Keys to get away from the cold here in Wisconsin. We're back, and the cold is still here! Yes, I got this on Saturday, so I am having a blessed weekend! Thanks for the PC!
Response: your right, them sheep are not from here. hope you had a great time in the keys.
Comment: you'll never guess what showed up today. well-actually- you probably can guess.....
I love the necklace. It's bigger than I thought and I'm digging it. It's also a watch.I can't remember if I knew that or not (ha!)...but I like it so very much. good choice! thank you so very much. :)
Response: oh my goodness i am so glad it showed up since the seller did wrong. woohoo. glad you love it. enjoy.
Comment: Thank you for the song journal. I am just 4 years older, so I knew all those songs in your journal. And yes I did sing them in my head. lol. And totally agree with the song from Ace of Base should have never been made.
Response: i saw singing as i was writing them. glad you liked them,
Comment: Thanks for the lovely comments and likes. And you're right that people that stop writing, should let the other person know. Maybe there life is being crazy at the moment or something, who knows.
Comment: Omgoodness I have so been collecting the front of note cards thinking to myself that I would need them for something for almost a year! What a wonderful idea... Thank you so much for sending this one to me.
Comment: Love the postcard. I wish it could be a Florida night, but I live in the very north east part of Florida and it hasn't snowed here since 1989, We got about 6 inches of it and I was like 8 years old. I'll always remember that year. It was our first Christmas in Florida since moving from California. My dad wanted to be somewhere "it never snowed". Joke was on him. LOL. Have a great day and thank you!
Comment: Thanks Rhonda! TN has its share of deer...almost overrun. I've experienced the deer stand and taking the 8 pointer to the meet processing plant. I'm good with the hunt as long as it's for food...not just shoot and kill. Delicious venison roasts! Thanks for the memories brought by your PC. Hugs and hearts...jinanne
Response: yay glad you received the pc.i agree with you on the deer. i love me some deer meat though. glad i could reignite your memories. have a wonderful year.
Comment: Thank you. Happy belated Halloween and Merry Christmas!
Sorry might have been my fault, I was checking my emails the other day and didn't see your Ecard. and don't remember reading one, so I must of accidentally deleted.
Comment: Thank you so much for the great note, and the Jamberry samples! I used to help a good friend of mine create NAS designs. She was a consultant for Jamberry for awhile. I've gotten away from it though because I can't afford them anymore. I'd rather spend my money on stamps for swaps and pen pals. Thanks for the invite to girls night though.
Response: they have redone the nas rules and the designer can now get paid and anyone can buy them.
Comment: Daisy looks like a really fun sweet pup! It's funny, I got all dog emails in this swap - of course, although I have 3 cats, my dog is the queen of the house, and I'm really more of a dog person! I often wonder what it would be like to have a smaller dog - mine is about 55+ pounds. Maybe I'll get one for a companion when one of the cats is gone - I don't want to wish that, but I can't afford another animal right now. Anyway, that is too funny about the blankets and toys! Not this dog, but the last one did stuff like that. It was especially funny when we had our two boy dogs - we'd get identical toys for them for Christmas (or just because) and pretty soon, the younger one would have them both. I don't know what he was thinking - he only had one mouth. But it was funny watching him try to chew on both at the same time! And the other dog was wimpy enough that he waited for us to get his toy back for him. Thanks for sharing your sweet Daisy!
Comment: Daisy is adorable, thanks for sharing! I have a little Jack Russell / Chihuahua mix myself. She's a big fan of blankets and her fuzzy bed too!
Response: oh how fun. im thinking the chi part makes her love blankets so much. today i came home and i couldnt find her. she was in her bed and she had covered herself up. all you could see if a black nose. can i see your baby?
Comment: Dear Rhonda, we're so proud of your progresses. I love writing as much as my husband Andrea loves to draw, I can't imagine my life without it. It is so exciting you decided to write to your friend after 21 years! Most of our lives, you know! Wow. Feel free to tell us about the pal updates and show us your poem book, if you want. Thank you so much for joining this emotional challenge and sharing it with us. We're so proud of you. Hope to see you in future swaps (not through Gmail, ahah!). Wish you all the best. Your Italian friends: Serena and Andrea
Comment: What a WONDERFUL flip-book! I am so glad to have received such an awesome flip-book, it is really awesome and filled so many cool goodies!
It makes me sad that the mail ate the first one because I am sure it was just as lovely! You are an awesome partner!
Comment: Thank you for the recipe. I am eager to give it a try. My sincerest apologies about how long it's taken me to get my ratings caught up. I look forward to seeing you around the swaps. Have a great day!
Comment: Wow, you packed a lot into the envelope. The blue tiny envie, was so packed full of goodies - made my heart sing. I will put to good use the papers and tags. I haven't figured out what to do with the "Happy" clear sheet yet, but I will. Looking forward to playing with my new "blue" goodies.
Comment: Thank you! Weather is HOT AND HUMID. It has been 95+ the last few weeks but the really high humidity makes it rough.
Then the super big and fast thunder storms roll in, those are fun to watch!
Comment: Thank you for the cheery floral card -- it reminded me of Anne of Green Gables :) -- and for sharing some of your favorite things! I also love getting to learn new things and meet people via swapping! Happy Monday <3
Comment: Thank you for the neat items for this swap. Love the postcard! I love everything about the swaps! The items we get, the envies they are in, the stamps, and the friendship of most of the swappers!
Comment: Love fried rice - especial shrimp fried rice. Never tried it with squash but since i like it also am going to give it a try. Do make sweet and sour chicken but your recipe is different than mine - so going to give it a try also
Comment: Your card really did brighten my week! I am starting a very large project and the quote was perfect! Thank you for the swap card as well - I have to make some strawberry shortcake now. :) Cheers! -B
Comment: Rhonda, wow, you sent so much - salt and pepper shakers(I do not have these), pretty note paper and card, tea bags, butterfly pen and a dotee doll(did you make her? she is so cute.) Thank you. I wish I could give you more than on heart. Shirley
Response: no ma'am i did not make the dotee doll. i received her in a swap on here. i was always told there to share so i was sharing. glad you liked it all.
Comment: I do not understand what I did or if I mis-communicated to you but, I did not ever remember receiving your samples, and you did mail the swap late. You said you would resend them so when I received the resend I did not understand your note or why you only sent 1 sample. I'm rating you a 3 and I will be more than happy to change that if you decide you want to complete the swap correctly. I am sorry if I have done anything to upset you.........=)
FOLLOW UP TO YOUR RESPONSE:
You told me you were going to resend the swap, but I never received it. I then receive 1 sample with a message about 1 being cut which I did not understand because we had not had any further communication. I never sent you a message saying 1 of the samples was cut. You have my correspondence confused with someone else's. I should have rated you a 1 because I never received this swap from you. I gave you a 3 because I did receive the 1 sample that you needed to send to someone else who's swap you messed up on. Your ratings reflect that you often mix up and do not follow through with swaps. There is nothing to further be said in this matter.
Comment: After several messages and promised resend to me I have never seen this package. Should I receive I will re-rate buts it's been 2 months. Update: I check my po box every other day 3/8 (yesterday) being the last eat it wasn't there. I will change as stated above if it shows up.
Comment: The photos still haven't arrived and you're not very forthcoming with information. I'll change the rating to a 3 when I get them. Update September 18: I received your photos, thanks a lot. I would have given you a 5 anyway for having to send it no less than three times, but even though you'd included a card saying the photos were marked on the back they weren't. I think may you forgot something there. Anyway I really like the photos, some are very inspiring. Thanks for going through so much trouble for making sure it got to me. Update March 24 2016: Thanks for offering to fix this.
Comment: Hi Rhonda! Thank you for the very, very nice ATC and the jamberry sample. I wondered what a jamberry was. I like the creative way you packaged the swap - no bulk, I'll have to try this. Thank you so much. ♥♥♥
Comment: I am so sorry for the late rating. I was going through to make sure I have everyone rated and saw that I hadn't rated you yet! Thanks so much for your recipes and I have you had a wonderful Christmas season!
Comment: Update 12/24/15: Have adjusted the rating accordingly after the misunderstanding was resolved. My apologies for any issues that arose from this situation. == 12/22/15: Thank you for sharing your list. Unfortunately giving a 3 here because I only first got this list last night in my email [listed as a resend] and it was marked sent on the 13th [5 days after the send by date] without communication that it would be late.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely card. I have heard of the Jamberry nails but never used them I have always wanted to try them because I have really long pretty nails and painting them is not always fun. I will try the sample you sent. Hope we can become pen pals. Thanks
Response: your very welcome. i sent you a message.
Comment: I hadn't been to a garage sale in a couple years when I stopped at those 2. I went again the following Friday and found 2 watches for 50 cents a piece and several dime earring sets. I just might go this Friday too.
Response: oh sweet. seems like your hitting great ones.
Comment: I liked the picture of the clouds. I am really drawn to taking pictures of the sky.
I am sorry for the loss of your son. I share that with you, our first-born died at the age of 4 1/2. He would have been 50 this week.
Comment: Thank you for the great postcard of Xcel Energy Center where the Minnesota Wild play hockey!! So cool!! I love it. Hope you are drying out- we could sure use the rain. Thankfully the multiple wild fires aren't close to me right now, but we're not out of fire danger.
Response: yay glad you liked it. sorry about your fires. id be over excited to send you some of this rain. stay safe.
Comment: Thanks for your comment - I wish I could claim the gnome ATC but only the one with the buttons was mine - the other was what I received for the swap. Didn't my partner do a brilliant job? =) I feel very lucky to have had her! Thanks for taking part in the swap!
Comment: I loved your swap package. The necklaces are adorable. The tea will be yummy to drink when I read and the candy is half gone and I am serious. Loved it all. I enjoyed doing this swap with you and if you ever want to do a different private swap with me just let me know. Have a great summer and Happy Swapping. Danki.
Comment: Well, you and I must have learned how to keep a craft room from the same craft fairy. Mine is just like that...everything everywhere but lots of containers and I DO know what is in them! I have other containers in the living room, some in my closet, fabric in a container in another closet...and the list goes on...and on...and on... funny thing, after our house burned down in 2010, the first things that appeared from people were boxes and bags of fabric and craft supplies! Artists sent me art supplies... amazing friends!
Comment: Thanks so much for sharing your photos! I especially love the one for "weekend" - it made me giggle :) Hope things are going better with your car! Sorry it's taken me so long to rate - I've been incredibly busy this month and haven't had time to sit down and view everything :(
Comment: I was delighted with your 9 pockets holding creative intriguing surprises, it's beautiful and fun, thank you. I'm excited about all the extras you tucked in, they'll be used in my art soon :) I've developed a passion for washi tape samples and love the ones you shared with me. I'm smiling :) thanks again.
Comment: JUST CAME TODAY!!! Loved your package so much! Will definitely be doing the Easter crafts (: I'm loving the floral-I chose the same cupcake kit and napkins! XD Thanks so much for a great package-have a lovely holiday ^^
Comment: Rhonda my sincerest apologies for not rating. I just noticed this card and accompanying note in my display cupboard. I generally rate as I open my mail but this one went straight to display. A lovely card. Thanks
Comment: Oh my goodness! What a terrific swap! Thank you very much for the variety of butterfly charms and stickers, the gorgeous note card and envie, and the big blue butterfly. The card and envie are going into my collection shadow box, and I can hardly wait to create a few beautiful jewelry pieces with the charms. Wishing you lots of happy swapping treats, too!
Comment: Over two weeks late and I had to contact you regarding the swap. But, you kept in contact with me and followed through on your promise to send it out to me swiftly.I didn't end up joining the last swap, I will send Savannahjan's journal home this Friday.
Response: as i said it was returned to me. glad you finally received it and you got your own journal back as well.
Comment: So many interesting facts about Florida. Thank you so much for sharing them all with me! I enjoyed the photos too. I used to live in Panama City 1995-98. I LOVED doing the beach scene and boating there. We are tentatively looking at retiring back to Florida next year. I can't wait. Happy swapping
Comment: Edited for clarity after response.Received 7 cutouts. One being passed on was very nice, two others were not bad. Two had LARGE glue smudges making them unusable, not a bit of glue but dime to nickel size, easily preventable, smudges. The last two are "chicks" but they have OBVIOUS Pencil/printer outlines and have UNMISTAKABLY been cut by hand. Of the 108 images that come up on the cricut database for "Chicks" these are not among them. What cartridge are they from? .HONESTY will generally take you further than excuses.
Thank you for sending.
Response: for one, i always use scrap paper for cuts, hence the lines, you might find marker and paints on backs too. for two, the one with a siggy is a EXTRA i got in a swap and didnt want, i thought since it was a EXTRA you could possibly use it, sorry for sending EXTRAS. for three everyone sometimes has glue spots sorry. and all of my cuts was done on a cricut expression. my blade is old and it cuts rugged sometimes.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Hello Kitty-swap! Did you make the bottlecap pendant your self? Such a clever idea and so cute! Now I will have to make some fitting jewelry for them! :) Everything was just so cute!
Response: hi, yes i did. i cant wait to see what you make with it. enjoy.
Comment: Cute pages!. Sorry this is so late....I have been having trouble with my email. I love the way you did the title on the fall faves page, with the cute little turkey! And ooooh! I wish I had as much washi tape as you! I'm jealous! Thanks for sharing!
Comment: I like your summer books page. The other page is cute, too, but I wish everything was bigger, took up more room. It has so much white space that it doesn't look quite done. But it IS cute! Thanks for sharing!
Comment: Package now received - thank you. Lip glosses are great, and I have been meaning to get a new chapstick! The photo is great & I love your chapstick covers. Totally understand about the equipment, my brother is diabetic too.
Comment: Thank you:) jazzy will love these toys. I gave her the purple bone, which she just finished running around with. The other 2 toys I'll hold onto till she tires from the other ones:) thank you again and also a big thank you for joining my swap!
Response: daisy has one of the purple bones and she likes to use it as a pillow.
Comment: Thanks so much for the stamped images! They aren't my typical go-to style, so they are definitely designs I don't have (which is a good thing!). My favorite is the baby and mama whale - that is the cutest stamp EVER!
Comment: Nice pages! I love your silhouette page. I never thought of making the silhouette like that! And I think your calendar pages with the specific days, like father's day, etc., are great! Thanks for sharing!
Comment: My favourite is your silhouette page--I think it reminds me of the vintage Barbie look! And I love your Paul Bunyan image too. It looks as if you've had a fun summer so far :) Thanks for sharing !
Comment: Those were nice pages. I love that you are using one of the Smashbooks you recieved in a swap! Great job incorporating the design into your layouts. In the photo of the 3 ladies... which one are you?
Response: ty. the three ladies are my grandma in the middle. my mom on right and my aunt, her sister, on left. :O)
Comment: Thank you for taking the time to remake and resend for this swap, it is much appreciated and your book is lovely with lots of interesting pages :D However, if you do more of these swaps, I would recommend bubble-wrapping or posting in a box or bubble mailer etc as when I opened the envelope, the corners were quite bashed up and one of the bookrings damaged beyond use. I don't mind the tatty corners and I just exchanged the bookrings, but it would have been a real shame if all your hard work on the inside had been damaged :( Thanks again for the lovely book - I think the little pockets, tickets and pullouts are my favourite bits :) and you used some really beautiful papers & ephemera :D
Response: im sorry. that sad the rings messed up they were tough, so tough they didnt wanna open. again im sorry.
Comment: Thank you for sharing. My aunt got two tattoos this summer in memory of her daughter that past away in December. I can understand how important your tattoo means to you. Have a lovely rest of the week.
Comment: Thank you for the cookie hearts! I love homemade gifts like this. I was surprised that they could be mailed in a Mike & Ike Box. Too cool! I hung the cookie hearts by my work station for decoration.
Response: lol yea they can be mailed in anything. i made sure box was clean then they fit perfectly snug so they wasnt moving around. glad you liked them.
Comment: Well since this is my first minizine. I am learning. However, what I did learn from your minizine is that you were not going to join any more "wacky" swaps per your quote. I am unsure what you meant by that? And also noted that you are a person of few words???
Comment: Rhonda ~ thank you so, so much for the AWESOME heart decorated box! It's gorgeous, love the color and all those beads. The bird in the heart is awesome! And the mug ~ I love the mug! Thank you so, so much!
Response: glad you finally got it and it wasnt broke. the post office sux.
