Comment: I loved your answers and was happy to find someone else who enjoys books on minimalism/ organizing! I love Marie Kondo and have read similar books on living with less. I have been watching her new tv show as well. If you listen to podcasts at all, I would recommend "The Minimalists." It is the best podcast on living a minimalist life (mindset, what adds value, emotionally, etc.) I've ever listened to. "Becoming Minimalist" by Joshua Becker is a fabulous blog on the same subject. Have a great day!
Response: Thanks for your rating and the heart. I follow the Minimalists and Joshua Becker on Youtube as well. They are great motivators.
Comment: Thank you for the profile comment. I hope that you enjoy The Handmaids Tale, I'm super excited to see what the next season brings. I hope that you and yours have a wonderful Christmas and prosperous New Year.
Response: Recently I saw my first Handmaids Tale and I liked it, yes. Want to see more. Thanks for the heart rating and Merry Christmas.
Comment: Thank you for the cute Christmas card :) I love the penguin & the little goodie bag, too. We just came back from our pre-xmas holiday in Gothenburg, so perfect time for happy mail! Have a wonderful Christmas time :)
Comment: Thank you for the great things you sent me! My fav was the tags that you used the distressed ink on but I will definately be able to use everything on my projects :) Looking forward to seeing you in future swaps!
Response: Very nice to hear you like my goodies I have selected for you. Have fun creating with them! ♥
Comment: You did a great job decluttering your make-up! What a difference! It sure is nice to get rid of things that no longer are used or expired, isn't it? Congratulations on doing so well with this challenge!
Comment: You were able to get a lot read and recycled! Great job!! I enjoyed seeing the variety of magazines and publications from the other side of the world!
I do the same thing too with magazines (clipping images and using them in journals). I was able to get quite a few beautiful bird and flower images for my nature journal because of this swap...so thank you for hosting it!
Comment: Thank you for sharing such beautiful photos of your trip to Germany and Münsterland/Sauerland. The buildings look so detailed and majestic. Being on or near the water - as you were - looks like it would have been relaxing and peaceful!
Comment: Thanks for sharing...I absolutely ADORE the idea of Sisters Day! I have two younger sisters. This would be such a cool thing to do with them. We live in different states and I haven't seen them in years.
Response: You should really try to arrange a get together and spend some time with your sisters. We always enjoy our quality time together.
Comment: WOOOOOHOOOO!!!! Sweet Cindy - I'm embarrassed to say...I found the beautiful Bird and Black and White decos you sent for the swap..wait for it...while cleaning out my car! Your envie was wedged between the seats. Thank you for sending it in a VERY timely way, and they are lovely. Thank you for joining my swap.
Response: Oh, I am very glad they surfaced. What a good idea to clean out your car now, instead of finding them one year later, for example. I do not clean my car often. But my mail falls on my doormat right away...
Comment: EEEK! I am terrified by spiders. I'm so sorry you have enough there that you consider them your roommates. Unless. . . Did you mean you have spiders as "pets"? In cage in your living room - or wherever? :-/ If you like them, that's good. :-) But I see from your profile that you are scared by them, too. So. . . I'm sorry. :-( I would like to visit Rome one day. But I'd probably go in the winter. I don't like warm weather, much preferring to travel when it's cold, or at least cooler. :-) Thank you for sharing!
Response: Ha ha, it was more of a joke because I have no pets. But all of us have spiders in the house we never invited, right? So noooo, I have none! Scary things. Rome has nice temps in april or may to visit.
Comment: Thank you for the review of Little Green, Cindy. I'm sorry it was a struggle for you to read. I've heard of Easy Rawlins, but haven't ever read a book with him in it. I wonder if I would enjoy it more? Can you tell me, were the "ovah" for "over" and "lemme" for "let me" in the dialogue only? Or peppered throughout the descriptive text, too? (Because if the latter, I might not read it as it would hit my grammar-error! pet peeve.) Thank you for sharing! :-) <3
Response: That was used in the dialogue / speaking text. Not entirely in the book, no. Maybe you will enjoy it, who knows. Thanks for rating me.
Comment: Thank you for sharing. I love playing GameHouse games as well. The last one I played was Sally's Salon. I like Delicious, but have to pay for the full version. Now i am curious about the Scavanger Hunt Journal. I hope everything works out between your family members. It happens a lot with my family as well.
Comment: Thanks so much for joining my swap. Even just setting the swap up really got me moving yesterday and I got a lot done already from my list. I had no problem in reading your swap at all. Have a nice day and if I host another swap like this [I plan on it!], I hope you'll join it as well. : )
Comment: Thank you for the book review. "Hate List" sounds very interesting and also very relevant with similar events happening in America right now. The story told from the girl's prespective makes it worth to read. Thanks again :)
Comment: Thank you for the book log. The book really does sound interesting, but not sure I would want to read it. I'm very sensitive about topics like these. However, I believe these books need to be written to show the human side of tragedies like these.
Comment: Hello Cindy. Quite an intense book to read especially with all the shootings that are happening around the world. I will look for the book at the library. Good on you Cindy for getting back to reading books in English. I admire anyone that can speak different languages. Happy swapping.
Response: I saw in the news there was recently another school shooting in the USA. Terrible, isn't it?
Comment: Thank you for your message! And yes, Holland the the Philippines in a matter of seconds truly is awesome.😊 No worries about being behind! I've only been using LGBTQIA+ for about a year now myself. Folks are finding more accurate words to describe their identities and it's awesome.🌈 Have an awesome day ahead!
Comment: Such a lovely envelope full of goodies in my mailbox today. Thank you so much, Cindy! The envelope and card are beautiful. The tape is in my favorite colors, and the foxes found a new home here in America. I'd give you a hundred hearts if I could. 💖💕💞💓💗
Response: Your comment leaves a big smile on my face. I made a card hoping you would like and I have washitapes in all your favorite colours indeed. Happy to pass some on.
Comment: Thank you so much for the message! I'm so sorry that I worried you all! Anytime that I am not able to assign partners at the time I will always add more days to the send by date to me that is only fair!!!! Thank you again for hanging in there with me! I just love these little quick swaps!
Comment: Hi Cindy!
What a perfectly adorable Christmas book! I love every page, and it brings a big smile to my face. :) Your creative is awesome! I also love the extra stickers, stamped images and book pages - feel like I won the lottery! Thank you so much. Great swap!
Response: Nice to read you love everything I make and send. I had a lot of fun making the book.
Comment: You should check out the movie Home Again (it has Reese Witherspoon in it) :)
Ooo, you eat Hagelslag! I want to try it, but I don't know how to make it lol.
Hmm, a hobby for me. I LOVE reading (I've read 10 books so far this year and I read 130 in 2017!). I also enjoy watching tv and writing letters... crafting.
Response: Yes indeed, hagelslag - I wonder how you know the name of it? We don't make it but buy it in the supermarket. It is impossible to make hagelslag yourself.
Comment: Oh! Thanks for the pretty napkins, just in time for me to do another swap, mail art themed birds. Thanks for the books to look up. I have started to watch you tube video's but sometimes it gets to much for me. I too have the Art Journal magazine, but the shop i was getting it from has cancel taking subscriptions so it is only by chance if i go on to their website and order it do i get one.
Comment: Hi Cindy :) I received your stamp set now. Thank you so much. It was indeed just like a private swap:D . So happy to receive a lovely stamp set. :) thank you for the lovely Christmas card too 💕.
Comment: Ooh wat ben ik blij mat je mail :) de extra kaart is altijd welkom voor postcrossing. De lijst met boeken heb ik even bekeken er staan veel goeie suggesties tussen snel maar even de kerstman verwittigen :)
Comment: I am so happy with my stickers!!! wow, they're so beautiful. The extra ephemera pieces are lovely! I thank you for thinking to send stickers to my son. He loves them! The stamped images on the envelope are very nice and I'm saving them. Happy Holidays! ♥ Judy ♥
Comment: Love your altered page, Cindy! Beautiful image and love the colors! Thank you! And thank you for the amazing extras! Love how you altered the tea labels - wouldn't have even thought about doing that! Now I'll have to save them so I can altered the backs, too!
