Comment: Thank you, your card cracked me up! First time someone sent me a card and admitted that they themself didn't even like it. The heart isn't because I think the card's actually beautiful (well it would definitely have been a beautiful view if the person skiing wasn't there) but for what you wrote. Love how blunt you are :D
Response: Thank you. I think as pertty as the mountains are, they sure do not need to ruing a perfectly good postcard with a person skiing or snow boarding, or any other silly things us humans do.
Comment: Thank you! I really enjoyed reading your letter and getting to know more about you! I am so happy you shared your life with me. I will enjoy the tea. Egyptian Licorice is one I really like and was out of. I really hope that you host more of these swaps. Have A Happy Day! :)
Comment: Fawn, it was nice to read about your good times. Sorry about your daughter and the hubby disagreements. But I'm glad you made up! I gave you a heart to make up for the bad events :)
PS - That's a gorgeous card. Any chance of getting a blank one? We could trade.
Response: i do not know what i sent, but pm me and describe it and i will see what i can do.
Comment: Thank you for the wild cat postcard. I think the flase statements are...3. I am a brunette. 4. I like coca cola. 6.I have 3 dogs. 10. My favorite male movie star is Clark Gable. ha ha ha, How did I do?
Comment: The ink sometimes smears on me as well. We have also had snow (rare before Christmas here), but nothing that stuck. I think your PCs are great, so your tourist trap has redeeming value. Thank you so much!
Comment: Love the aquilegia PC! Really enjoyed reading the upside/sideways writing! Really I did! Made me laugh! I know the feeling! I often do the big swaps and after so many I feel the need to switch it up a bit too! Thanks for recognizing Paul my mailman! Many hearts to you! Best wishes to you!
Comment: Thanks for looking at my profile! The card is cool. I have been to Wyoming and want to go back! Thanks for the card and stay warm! We just got back from CA and now experiencing the cold and snow we'd been missing!
Comment: pretty pc, i really enjoying it. Colorado is so pretty. i got the opportunity to go thru it on the amtrak 2 summers ago during a cross country train trip. my fav. state to go thru for sure. so scenic.
Comment: Thank you sooo much for the awesome postcard! I love it! My husband says "Another place we need to go! To bad we can't go for a day trip." HeHe. Another postcard stolen from me lol. He steals all my postcards rotfl. Thank you very much :D
Comment: Thank you Fawn for the pc...funny this is my 2nd rodeo/horse pc...I'm attracting horses into my world :) maybe the universe is trying to tell me go visit my sister in Alberta, where the cowboys are :)xx have a fantastic day!
Response: A visit with sis? Hey that sounds like fun!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! To answer your question, the Memories at Ford Factory is a museum in a very old Ford factory. It's where the British surrended Singapore to the Japanese during WW2.
Comment: Thank you so much! The tea holder is fantastic and I'll be using it a lot! I love it! And the bookmark is perfect. I never realized how thin a crochet bookmark could be! Thank you very much for everything =)
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! I love the image on the front, the reflection on the water is beautiful! Lowell is famous for the old mills. I believe that's the area that had the cruddy conditions way back when!
Comment: I loved the letter and the bookmark(very creative). ^_^
I wish I had that new bible too. The new version won't be published in Belgium. :-( Because they're afraid it will be a collecter's item. Untill then I'll have to read it on the site. I hope my swap will arrive soon. My other swappartner has received it some days ago. but she lives in Europe, so that's always quicker. If it doesn't arrive next week, then I'll try to track with the post office. Thank you for the lovely swap. :-D
Comment: Wow you sure can doodle:-) I just sat looking at all the neat doodling on the outside of the envie before I even opened it to see what was inside. You are very patient to wait to use the envie. Your stamps were really cool too! I will be sure to save a photo of any art I produce using your materials that you sent me. Now you have given me incentive to do something with them. The claim check ticket set me back but then I thought, "Hey art is all relative" and I am sure to use it for something. The Vintage PC is gorgeous and I will have to use it to do something really special with. Larger size papers that you cut for me are great. I too have difficulty cutting straight edges at times. The sterling silver chain is so pretty. I am not sure what I will do it just yet, but I will come up with something to do it:-) Thank you for sharing with men in this swap. blessings, ellie
Response: I did send it, I hope soon it arrives. We have PMd about the rest f solving this situation. This one was given the day a one can be given, not even 24 hours later than two weeks after the send by date.
Comment: Thank you so much for sending your tangle, I appreciate the effort while you have so much on your mind right now! Swaps will be a little later than deadline but will still be send! I love both the I and the envelope!!
Comment: Thank you for the card that you sent to me. I liked it and it will go with my collection. My best friends just got back from back there seeing the capitol. Thank you very much Wanted to thank you for the extra cards that was real nice.
Comment: Very cute teddy bear envie, nice note, and sweeeeeet Hot cocoa packets. I will enjoy these cocoa packets when sitting outside around the fire pit. I enjoyed your letter and appreciate your swap. blessings, ellie
Response: Thank you, I usually do not respond to my fives, but your words are balm to a sorely tired and down hearted soul.
Comment: I love the card- the funniest part- the paper you used as an envelope had a math word problem about Kimi and Nina. Well I live with my cousin, Nina, and my little cousins call me Kimmie (she did when she was younger). I've never seen those two names attached before. Very cool. She pointed it out since she gets our mail each day.
Comment: Fawn, thank you so much for the seeds! They arrived today inside that nice zebra card, which will go into my granddaughter's gluebook. ;) I love your seed choices - wildflower mix, marigolds and morning glories. I know exactly where I will plant them. :)
Comment: Hello, thank you for the interesting mail. Your thoughts are most completly different from mine, but it was very interesting to read about you. Hope you have nejoyed this swap as much as I did.
Comment: Fawn! Thank you so much for the fun swap! I loved collecting the cards until I could put the cards together and make sense of them all! The story was so cute and thank you so much for your kind words! I hope you'll join the next time I host this swap! Hugs!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful PC of the Garden of the Gods! Way back when I was in high school, I babysat for my sister, and they lived in CO. One memorable trip was to the GOG! It was quite breathtaking, even to a silly high school student who was more interested in boys than scenery!
Thank you very much for the memory!
Comment: Hi Fawn, I received the envelope of postcards that you sent me for the postcard Mash-Up! I love the fact that the envelope is recycled! Thank you for the lovely postcard, there's one that I know my 9-year old son would love for his collection! He loves animals & I know he'd love the one with the bear on it smelling the flowers! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card. What a glorious view. I am not sure of the number of Jehovah Witness there would be living in this area. It is something I will have to ask the lovely Jehovah lady that calls in to see me regularly. Have a lovely day! Caroline
Comment: How beautiful your mountains are! Today it is raining here and when I went to check the Weather Channel to see how long/much we might receive I heard of the terrible flooding going on there right now. I hope you are safe and far from the flooding.
Comment: Of my partners in this swap, you must be the only one who is a couple years closer to my age. I recognized all the songs. I also had two on my list--Boy named Sue and Runaround Sue. Thanks for making me feel not quite so old.
Response: LOL, I noticed that I hardly recognized most songs sent to me too.
Oh who wants to get old, but then most of the songs I mentioned are ones I would never want to miss. I am a romantic so, Honey, Rocky and many more are ones I love and have loved.
Comment: Hi! TY for the pc - I am so sorry to read about the worries with the fires - that has to be so scary! You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope things work out! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Very glad to hear you were able to get back into your home. That must have been quite an ordeal. I have a friend who lives in Colorado Springs. Fortunately for them they didn't have to evacuate. Hope you enjoyed your Krispy Kremes! And thanks of course for the pc. You write well while driving in the car :-)
the violet gypsy
Comment: You were very creative in stuffing that envie!!! But, I really didn't understand why you commented on the types of books that I read..I don't think that was part of the swap!! Have a good night..
Response: I commented because I have discoverer them, because theya re the few books that uphold Bible morals and it is a surprise that someone else reads them also.
Comment: Hey, Fawn...thank you so much for the lovely envelope of love...the shoe decoration was so cute!! Love the flowers...So sorry to hear about the fires and loss of homes there...I do hear what you are saying about the shrub/tree removal for prevention! Maybe you guys should take a stand and get in touch with the governor? Glad you are all ok, though!! Thanks again for the lovely goodies...
Comment: Thanks for the updated list! That's more along the lines of what I thought the swap was about, though the host admits it was unclear. :) Sometimes there are Rickshaws that run in the downtown area of Santa Cruz, CA (near where I live). They people always look so tired though, so I've never done it, haha.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard of Ireland! Seeing it reminded me of a very wonderful summer spent traveling around in Ireland. Best wishes, Kelly/Irishmermaid
Thanks for the second card, I loved it!
Comment: Thank you for the TWO postcards you sent along! I got your letter also. Mom was busy today so I will have her read it tomorrow. Very sweet of you to send the vintage postcards and envie you made. Thank you. Thank you a TON for helping out with my RAK(: It was funny, because I've gotten a couple things so far, and mom is like, "It's addressed to ME?!?" Nice to see her open something that isn't a bill or whatnot. :D I really appreciate it. Ooh! Also, the envelope completely blew me away lol I did a double-take(:
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard! I love it and it made me laugh :) I too know what it's like staying up late writing a dozen postcards with your eyes failing on you! Lol all the best Hun! Xx
Comment: Wow! ~ That envelope you decorated deserves a heart, in itself! Amazing - the back is a zetangle, I'd suppose. It's the first I've seen - Verrry good! There's no need to apologize for anything - The artwork, front and back envie - is amazing - the envies you made are very welcomed - to be put to good use. Love it all - Thanks so much. Oh - I hope you found some solace at the meeting you were off to . Thanks again for a great swap!
Comment: Despite what you thought, I thought your envelope and Zentangle-esque piece you sent were very nice and I am going to use it (and the envelopes) in my art journal. Also, thank you for the note. I hope you are feeling better :)
Comment: You are the best friend Ingrid could evere have. I am sure God is your inspiration for being such a kind person. May he bless you and your leved ones and thanks for sharing this beautiful story.
Comment: Lovely! You know I'm crazy about vintage pc's and these are amazing. My absolute favorites are the ones from the 40's/50's, so I adore the California road pc. Thank you, also, for teaching me how to date cards--I had no idea. Envie was cute! I've never sent a window envie to anyone before--but I will now!
Comment: Def random for this card is an understatement! Did you hand write the stuff in the front about Jehovah and God and draw that mountain? It's just a very weird card I don't even think I would send out to anyone lol
Comment: I did get your swap and it was nice of you to send an extra tea bag. However, 3 of 4 were open and not sealed. 2 of 4 were yellowed on the edges and old cheap tea bags. I tossed out the unsealed bags. I guess I am trying to say I got it. It was not of good quality. No need to replace anything.
Comment: I must say I respect that you are so firmly rooted in your beliefs. Thank you for your answers and explanations. It really shed some light on the beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses that I have encountered. Thank you for your honesty and openness.
Comment: I got your postcard today. you had asked me a question but the post office stamp was blocking it. I am guessing that you were asking if we knew each other because of my name. send me an inbox message and we can try to figure it out lol.
Hope you are well and thank you for the post card.
Comment: I like religious cards, esp churches so these used postcards were great. I liked the extra ones too. The hotel and train were even better, I love that old stuff. Thank you and your envelope was nicely decorated that is so nice.
Comment: I've never seen a how to pull a prank postcard. I'm rather glad these weren't around when I was little otherwise I probably would have gotten in trouble. Now my town has a thing for salt. Before the two local high schools merged into a larger school, mascot used to be a salt shaker. I'm not kidding about that, the sports teams were called the Shakers and the girls were the Shakettes.
Comment: Great envelope. I do love the colors and admire that you could do it all free hand. I can use the calendar. I keep mine in my iPad, but don't always have it with me. I can keep this one in my purse. Thank you.
Comment: Hello Fawn,
I enjoyed how you gave hints to the F word in the picture. It took me a couple reads and a couple looks before I found the F word, but I found the FENCE. Thank you for the nice postcard, too.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful mail art! The pattern is just gorgeous. :) I love the extra envelope you sent too - so pretty! Thank you for the teas and vintage postcard! It will be a happy addition to my collection. I'm so happy to hear that when you wrote me the note, you were having a good day - I hope today is a good day too! Thanks again! :)
Comment: This was the highlight of my day! Thank you so much Fawn! I loved your letter and really enjoyed each item you sent me, I can tell you put a lot of thought into each one! Seriously it was the best! :D
Comment: Thank you for the adorable monster. Sorry for the late rating. Kind of ironic everything got moved around because they took out my carpet and redid my wood floors! And you send me a wood floor eating monster!! Lol
Comment: I am so sorry for the late rating... The card was damaged and it took me really long to find out who sent it. It was one of the most wonderful cards I've ever received, it looks really great! Thanks for sharing the secret. (I wrote that on one of of my cards too :)
Comment: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for the Wyoming "Just one more payment and it's Mine!" PC!!! I love the prairie dog one too. The envie is terrific! I love how you made the design all her hair! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: A crocheted bookmark is totally unique for me, and I love it! What I must decide is whether to use it as a bookmark or as an accent on a scrapbook page for my little sweetie, Marissa. It could be a border for a photo, an accent anywhere on a scrapbook page for her . . .? At any rate I will REALLY, IMMENSELY ENJOY IT! Double, triple thank you for such a beautiful creation. I may decide to use it in my Bible although I have another swapped item that brought me a wonderful set of tiny ribbon markers that I'm using now. Time and circumstances will eventually decide how I will most enjoy the crocheted bookmark.
Are you able to crochet small and medium style flowers? I' love to have these to use on card and scrapbook pages, and I find them very expensive in most shops. Is there something I could make for you to swap (privately) for the crocheted flowers? Please let me know if you'd like to do such a swap! I have no idea how to set up a private swap but an certain I can learn how to do it!
Hope that 2013 is off to a good start for your and your dear ones!
Comment: Hi Fawn, I made one last trip to the post office yesterday, and had a whole stack of mail. What a great way to finish off the year.
I love your 12/12/12 card... I do lots of collage PCs but never thought of doing something "postcard" themed or even "postally" themed. I shall have to remedy that.
Also I never thought of doing an "edition" either... although I always do that with the postcards I make from my hand carved stamps. Duh?
Thank muchly for the card, and the inspiration.
Happy New Year!
Comment: Hi Fawn, what a fun souvenir spoon card. I had not seen one like this before. I've also not heard of using old whipped cream for hair and skin. I guess I'm not too old to learn something new, contrary to popular opinion! ;-) Cynthia
Comment: Great package, love the teas, and postcards, and pen. I have the calendar to my teenage daughter who was wanting one anyway. I loved this swap and appreciate you hosting. It is the 1st swap I was swayed to join.
Comment: Thank you, I received your PC today! I am not religious but I follow the same moral principle of fighting against my weeknesses and flaws and always seeking the rational good for me and for those around me. I liked the vintage postcard, too! :)
Comment: 12/20/12: From the swap description:
Postcards must be sent on 12-12-12 (and postmarked)"
The only way that you can guarantee a postmark is to go inside the post office and ask them to hand cancel the mail. This means that you see them stamp the mail ... or in my case I stamp it myself with the postmark cancellation. I put extra effort to make sure that all of my partners got a very nice swap with a proper cancellation and I want to thank you with a heart for getting the postcard hand cancelled. (Even though the PO sent it through the sprayer and jacked it up a bit.) I will add it to my collection!
Response: I did go in and saw the postmark being stamped on all of them. The clerk was pitching a fit, but I insisted.
Comment: hey. got ur envie ytd. thank you for the resend. i will def use it this time =)
Response: Please read the swap requirements. There is absolutely nothing about not folding to send the envelopes out.
I do not join swaps that say no folding, because the shipping charge goes way up when I have to lay them straight and use a much larger envelope top send.
Comment: Thank you for the blackout poem! I enjoyed it, as well as your note. I am also a big fan of the medium, and find I can use different sources more or less effectively. The New York Times is a good one, as are some books, for me. Thanks!
Comment: Wonderful Colorado state map. I had family living in Denver for awhile, so I'm a little familiar with Colorado--been to Mesa Verde and have done the Durango to Silverton Narrow Gage Railroad trip. So many fond memories in Colorado! Thanks!!
Comment: Great cards, Fawn--thanks! I think my favorites are your Natl. Postcard Week one (and yes, would you send me that link?!), the Disney card, and the red dragon card. BTW, I don't know of a place in Denver called just "The Deli" - and I even googled it and don't find it--maybe it's got another word in the name (like Jason's Deli?). Finally, can I ask where you got the big sea life stickers you used on the envie-I love those! Watch for a card from me soon-top 10 places swap. thanks again!
Response: Those are wall decorations from the dollar stores. Look in the crafts section, if they still have them, they will be there.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lo0vely Zentangle envie, the 2 notecards, the porompts ( will use them:-)), the lovely stickers and the cute envie you made! It was fun opened it! a lot is going on in your life, I wish oyu all the best, that your dreams come true and that you reach your goals! Thank you for the great swap!
Comment: That was one weird postcard! :D Art of plastic forking? Ok, I read the small print on the back of the card hoping to find out what it's about but it didn't help. It just doesn't make any sense. Thank you! :)
Comment: thanks so much for the wonderful stuff! I especially enjoyed the magazine - I occasionally get this but I don't have this one. I enjoyed your lengthy letter telling me about yourself but you really didn't need to price it all out - I like getting just about anything. thanks again.
Comment: (ETA): Which is why I gave you a 5, not a 3. I didn't expect it to be predominantly pink either, but if I looked at the card and could quickly *detect* pink, I certainly would have given you a heart too. It officially satisfied the swap criteria, you are correct. However, as it was difficult to find any pink in the pic at first glance, I just thought the spirit of the swap wasn't really honoured. (Previous comment): You're lucky the description of "something pink" was so generous because nothing about this PC made me think "pink"! There are some very small dots of pink in the grass, yes, but the overwhelming tone of the card is green, then blue, white, yellow, orange..... I asked my husband what colour he would think the swap was if he received your PC. He said "green". :/ That said, it is a very *pretty* card.
Response: if the swap had said the card needed to be mainly pink then I would have sent a totally different card. : "as long at it shows pink in the subject matter somewhere in the postcard!" The swap said that something pink needed to be on the card. It was some pink flowers. There was no mention of the main color of the card being pink. I knew that the card passed the swaps description.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely ATCs. It did come postage due but that is ok. Makes me wonder about some of the ones I have sent. I usually have them weigh them just to be sure with all the postal regulations now.
Comment: Thank you so much for the souvenir spoon from North Dakota. I did not have this one. Your wallpaper envelope came out great. You are right, it is very sturdy, Had to use scissors to open it, Shirley
Comment: Interesting way to present your tiles. It makes them look little bit 3D. I noticed, however that you're using pretty thick pen for drawing? I would suggest you try finding some with thinner tip (005 and 01) and try using them for drawing lines. It makes patterns more delicate and then, you can use thicker pens (05) for coloring black spaces and bold lines. All in all, nice tiles. :)
Comment: Hello again, and thank you for the beautiful hummingbird! Aren't they amazing? I try to keep a feeder out, and they keep me entertained. I love that 5 or 6 females can wait their turns & drink peaceably; but 2 males within a 1/2 mile, & there'll be a fight. 8-)
Comment: Really appreciate the alternate card, Fawn--thanks! I've only been to Y'stone once, and I was in diapers. My Mom always used to tell a story of changing my diaper on the hood of the car when a bear walked into the camp--
she got so scared she opened the door of the car and almost got in without me!
My hubby and I were just saying last week how we have to do a big road trip up there-maybe next spring. Oh--just yesterday I put a 'just because' pc in the mail to you--when you see it you'll know why it made me think of you!
Comment: I like writing lists, not reading them. ;) But thanks for your PC. I must admit, I find your handwriting very challenging to read...I couldn't read your name at all and actually only knew it was from you *by* the handwriting. Sorry to say so but I felt I should let you know. :X
Response: I know it is bad, I try and try and it seems I rarely get it looking good. I am the one that should be sorry.
Comment: Thanks for the nice art cards & the extra vintage ones. There were 3 orangutans in my mailbox this AM. Two on your envie & one on a card from Holland! My brother lives in Colorado Springs so I've visited a few times. Great city!
Comment: Confession: I slit the side tape on the envelope and extricated the cards, so I could keep it in one piece to use as a mailart pocket in a smash book. The thinner ones came out easier so by the time I had them all out, I had totally messed up the order! When I finished navigating your note, I think I got them back in the appropriate order!! :) - They are all marvellous! I love the blue bananas! Even before I read the note, I saw the Art one andthought "I know exactly what to do with that!" So, yes, i can definately use it! The Kid has claimed the whisky one - it's orange & music themed afterall :)
Comment: Loved the card that you sent to me. Is that where you can go mining for gold? We watch a program and that is the name of where they go some times. I enjoyed reading your card and why you picked the swap name. Thank you again for the card.
Comment: What a pretty postcard that you sent to me. Have a house right there that would be so nice and calmig. Your neice picked out a real nice card so thank her for me and thank you too.Picking out a car is so fun and alot of work. Have fun and good luck. Have a real niceday.
Comment: Thanks to both you and your niece for the black bear post card. I loved it. I hope you are in a portion of CO that is not currently on fire. :-( Thanks for the pc & also for hosting this swap.
Comment: Thankyou Fawn for the lovely crotched butterflies, I love the colours, they are so pretty. Thankyou fawn for your lovely interesting e-mail, it was lovely to read and I loe the verses. This was a very caring swap. thanks love jennifer.
Comment: Thank you for the buffalo pc. I love these big animals. I hope your Mom finds the car of her dreams soon, for your sake. ;)) You love the heat, you can come to Iowa and have all you want, just take it with you. Second pc from you in a row, love it.
Comment: Thank you for the items you've sent. You are quite a generous swapper :) The kids will love the art supplies and beads. Thanks again. (I'd give you an extra heart if I could). Oh and thank you for the dollies...they remind me of my great grandmother.
Comment: Thank you for the things. The postcards are ool because they are old. I wish that I coulf=d come across a big box of cards at a garage sale or something. Where did you get the calender book. That is the coolest one that I have ever seen. I need to know where to get some more. I need to get 3 or 4 more for my family. I am going to put my mom and das picture in mine. It brought tears to my eyes when I saw it. Thanks again. Keep in touch okay? Have a good day.
Comment: Hi Fawn, thank you so much for the lovely p/c of Annie Oakley, which I found to be truly delightful. What a woman! She fitted the bill perfectly. Thanks again and happy swapping. Cheers, Barbara
Comment: WOW-did you send me some great stuff!-I can tell you read my profile-stamps-paper dolls-tissue paper-beautiful crocheted bookmark-cute little scottie dog on card-I bet you could make an ATC just fine-they are tiny and so much fun!
Comment: Thank you for the postcards. You are a special person for helping the people with the forest fires in Colorado. We have one here in NC now. I can't even imagine 9 separate ones. God speed, Shirley
Comment: Hay thanks for the Swap, I loved every thing super super much big time thanks big time. I love the stamps you sent me I can use them for my Smash Journal I am making. I do the same as you and keep stuff. I love the pocket you made so cool I can use it to hold my stuff.
Comment: Thanks! What an interesting card...my grandma will get a kick out of seeing it. If you ever want to do a private postcard swap just let me know..I'm sure I have plenty of postcards right up your alley as I have a HUGE postcard collection.
Comment: Hi! TY for the lovely pc! I have been there many moons ago! LOL! Sorry to read you had three bad nights - that is tough when a person needs their rest! Hope you have a great time at your convention and in Chicago! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for my purple envelope, napkins, Scrapbook CD and extras. I enjoyed reading your letter. I love Tuesday Morning. I laughed when I saw the napkins because I had bought some there last month to use in crafts. Great minds think alike. :) Thanks again!!
Comment: Thank you for the interesting package. I really enjoyed reading your letter. And yes! you probably did walk down my block, as we live just a few blocks away from Bethel (although I believe the building has been sold).
Response: Yes they are selling most if not all property in the city and moving upstate. It is because of the uncertainty of the times, and that anything can happen at any time in the city and they feel the workers need to be as safe as they possibly can be.
Many of them saw 9/11 happen out the windows of where they were working and have PSTD issues from that, which is to be expected for anyone that had to see it is person any where in the city.
Comment: Cool PC, I love log cabins! Colorado is such a beautiful state! I really enjoyed checking out your website. Love art and mixed media is awesome. Thanks for sharing your part of this beautiful country with me! Judy
Comment: Thank you for your answer, I really enjoyed reading them. I spent a summer in College in Summit County working on a Peruvian Horse ranch. I LOVED Colorado. It was the best summer of my college career.
Comment: Hi Fawn, Thanks for the Pikes Peak postcard, and yes I see the "wish you were here" writing :) I use to drive semi and have been through that area ~ beautiful. I only drove for 4 years or so but miss seeing all our beautiful country side! Have fun on your trips, wish I was there, lol Take care, Judy
Comment: Thank you for the awesome card! I keep getting all these great CO cards and I can not wait for my trip in April! Lucky you getting to live so close to fresh clean water and not have to be on a gross city system like the rest of us!
Comment: Dear Fawn, thanks for the cute quote about apartments....I smile at it every time I read the card :))))) And thanks for so many exquisite stamps!! Those stamps bright up my day :) Thank you <3
Comment: Wow, Fawn, what an excellent assortment of postcards, Thank you so much. I especially like the covered bridge one, & the Clinton one. And I love the excess deco tape, so tacky & fun. ;) Take care 'til we swap again.
Comment: Thanks for the Minn State Capital sent your swap out today I did have the one you wanted but the card was an air view about 500 miles way so I sent it any way but with another state you had on your list so you should get it in a view days. Thanks for the swap Carolynne
Comment: Thanks for a lovely mountain view from the U.S. I bet the Rockies are something whole Northern America can be proud of! ;) Would love to see them in real someday, not only in the postcards... Thanks again!
Comment: Such wonderful follow-through! Thank you for the postcard resend and for just being a darn good person!
Response: I did resend, you should get it by now or any day now. The holiday mail must have messed up the second set.
I have sent second set , three sets now. I hope this one gets to you. I did take photos of me mailing the third set if you need them.
Comment: Received! And I'm going to say the lie is you love asparagus. Because someone who loves it might not wonder if they spelled it right! Which by the way, would be me. ;) You picked an interesting mix to share. I could have used the same 3, but my lie would have been different. (You said you love bacon, asparagus, and chocolate.)
Response: I love asparagus but not chocolate. I know I am rare but that is the way my tastes go.
Comment: Hi Fawn,
How nice of you to send me not one pc but Two. That was a very nice swap. Thank you so much. I like both pc, very interesting and fun. I enjoy the ones that have writing on them. Those are Great.
Thank you once again.
Comment: Got the second card--sorry you had to resend. It's not a card I had though, so it's great. We were down there last weekend and saw the fountain at America the Beautiful park. It's very cool! Can't wait to see it next spring actually running.
Comment: Thank you for the great card... and I hope you find the other.... Yesterday I lost a bunch of International stamps on my desk.. I pulled out the envie where I keep the stamps, and not there... looked the rest of the day for them.. found them this a.m. in the draw with the rest of the stamps in the envie.. Now u Know..? I looked there! Take care...Pat
Comment: I dont think I know anyone from the CO area, Most of my family comes from the western pennsylvania area. In fact my grandpa lives on Frazee Ridge Rd. :) My mom once met an artist in the little small town in florida that we live in with the same name as her! Janet Frazee. Kinda Cool.
