I wrote "Swap-Bot 2018" on the back so I will always remember where it is from when I hang it every year :) The stocking stuffer is in my stocking waiting for Christmas morning! I love the pretty cards (I may not be able to send them to anyone - I want to keep them for myself!) I loved the Christmas memory you included too, and all the wonderful little notes for the swap. I wear it all the time now (winter is hitting us with incredibly cold weather) and it brings me back to happy times with my husband over there. We were so free and relaxed. Your Fall season looks spectacular. and don't I wish I was so close to 3 great chocolate stores! Purdy's just came to one of our malls this past weekend. We have a stand alone Lindt store that takes 40 minutes to drive to...next to Ikea. Worth the drive!

I haven't ever read any of Nicholas Sparks' books, as if I read romance I need it to be romantic suspense. And aren't his books more along the lines of just being contemporary love stories? But I enjoyed hearing about that one you shared with me. :-) That Jeffrey Deaver book you were reading sounds more like it would be up my alley. What did you think of it? I hope it had a satisfactory ending! Also, audiobooks are great, and I too have read a bit more thanks to them. But unfortunately, I don't work, so don't have a commute, and listening just at home is problematic for me. (Too many distractions!) Thank you for sharing! :-)

Comment: Love the card with the woodpecker. I think I've only seen a couple of woodpeckers in my lifetime and never close enough to get picture even with a good camera. I often go and sit at the duck pond and watch the ducks bath, they are so much fun to watch. You take lovely photos.

Your envie arrived with my address hanging on by only a bit of one of the stickers you used to attach the piece of paper with my address on it to the envie, with most of the stickers having come off en route. If the last little bit of sticker had come off, this probably never would have made it to me. Thank goodness it did! But, maybe running a glue stick under the paper in addition to the stickers might be a good idea for the future so you don't have envies going missing in the mail. Comment: I think this swap was all mixed up....the one I'm supposed to rate isn't on here....we should have had two names to rate as I can see it....I'm totally confused on this one....I gave you a rating even tho I got the card back from a lady in Australia.....I think I'll not give the coordinator a star since I don't think she really thought this through.....what do you think? I remember getting an email from you...think I'll go back and read it again....
Response: On March 30, I have left a message on the swap asking people for suggestions on rating and I have sent an email to all participants for ideas. No one has replied. Yes, the swap was not perfect. I have learned from it. In the end everyone has been rating the kit they have received. This is the first time I am told there was a problem with the swap. I have made regular comments on the swap to assist participants. I am not sure what else I could have done. I did my best to communicate with everyone.
