Comment: Oh thank you so much. I had a rough week so I cheated and opened my gift early. Hehehe. I placed it on my bookshelf to be read after I finish what I'm currently reading. My initial reaction earned you a ♥. My husband was laughing at me as I opened it.
Comment: Thank you soooo much!! You have left me so speechless lol. I love what you made!! Love them! and I don't know how in the world you did it, but it definitely got my interests to try to break the fear of my sewing machine :) Thank you! Thank you!!
Comment: Hi Joan, thanks so much for the sweet embroidered ornaments. I adore them! I love to do machine embroidery too, machine embroidery is one of my many crafting passions. Thanks again, Merry Christmas. Hugs...Tammy
Comment: Joan, thank you so much for Christmas wrapped packages. I don't know if I am going to wait to open them starting December 1st. So tempting! I am going to have to hide them somewhere where they won't be in temptation's way. I am giving you a heart because I know when I open them, they will be definitely deserving of a heart, if not more. Thank you, Shirley
Response: Don't forget, I put the Halloween swap in the envelope also. Hope you enjoy.
Comment: Your Christmas in July package was above and beyond! Thank you ever so much for the pretty cards. I will save the fabric pockets for special things this Christmas. I think I may use some of the very pretty applique things in some Christmas in July Pocket Letters I am making next week for a swap. Many many thanks and hearts to you.
Comment: Unfortunately my rating of 3 is due to the fact that you did not adhere to the swap requirements. The swap states that all 12 items are to be new, store bought items with tags on them. These items are to be at least one dollar in value. The items you sent me were mostly not new-no tags on any of the items. In fact two items were damaged. The elf pin switch was disconnected and the tissue box cover was torn in multiple places. I contacted you first, before rating to allow you the opportunity to fulfill the swap requirements. Instead you blamed the damages on the postal service and told me to rate as I will. Then, you recontacted me and stated that since I did not believe that the items were purchased at a fundraiser for domestic violence victims, I should return the items to you and then you would go to the 99 cents store to purchase other items. Yet again, not how the swap works. If the items were purchased at a fundraiser, fine. However, that is still not the terms stated for how the swap works. My rating of 3 stands for all the reasons stated above.
Response: I spent $36.00 at a craft fair benefit for Abused Women. Everything was new and made by these women. I told you to return the items you didn't think was worth $1.00 and I would go to the dollar store and replace them. You did not return anything and considering the amount I spent on these items I can only assume you do not appreciate hand crafted items.
Comment: OH wow! That is lovely! Did you do all the stitching by hand or with a sewing machine? I dont know if I want to hang it on the wall or on my tree lol. Thank you so much for a lovely ornament! <3
Comment: Thanks for the knit stocking. I don't knit so anything knitted is special. Please include something with the exact swap name and your swap-bot name. I had to look through several swaps that were Homemade Christmas ???
Comment: Thank you so much for the knitted, crocheted and sewn AG items. I love the ducky shoes. I don't know how many pairs of your shoes I have(quite a few) but none the same. Thank you again. Shirley
Comment: The box came today, it had been marked damaged by the post office. It looked like an elephant had sat on it - lol, but everything looks in tack, no rattling items, etc. putting it away for a few months. Thanks
Comment: This was a hard swap. I had trouble with my outfit also. I love the little vests you sent along. I wish I had the embroidery attachment to my machine but I just have a big old clunker. Again thank you, Shirley
