Comment: I love this PC. Thank you. The fires are awful. We are having terrible air pollution right now but we can hardly complain seeing as our area is thankfully untouched by fires this year. The devastation north and south of us is tragic. I can’t imagine losing that much. There are so many volunteers banding together to help everyone and i like to think about that.
Comment: Judee, thank you for the postcard. We were very lucky with Hurricane Florence. We decided not to evacuate and ride out the storm. We live in a brick home, about 50 feet above sea level and are first to get power back on because we are on the triage line with the hospital. Only had some tree branches and loads of shredded leaves to contend with. Shirley
Comment: Very pretty scene of the woods. Reminds me of the woods I used to explore as a kid. Thanks! BTW glad to hear you got rain over there, hope it helped with the fires if those are still going. It's been raining quite a bit here too lately, I love it!
Comment: Thanks for the great smokey mountains map-i haven't seen this one before! I don't have a long arm, just a simple Brother that's about 5years old. I quilt my own but just do straight lines, diagional lines, etc. I just make quilte for my brdshete at home or snuggling on the couch.
Comment: Thank you For the USA card. It will fit well with my map card collection. Yes it is great news. I was watching the giraffe cams from my local zoo as one was expecting a calf any time and the chatters would remark about them a lot and were happy when they were all rescued.
Comment: Judee, thank you for the postcard of Waimea Bay beach. It surely looks calm now. I can' imagine 30 foot waves in the winter. No I haven't been to Hawaii and I don't think I will ever get to go there. My husband has and doesn't want to go back. Shirley
Comment: Thanks for the great puffin postcard. I lived in Maine and went to college on the coast. When I took a ornithology class, we had a winter lab on one of the outer islands and saw puffins bobbing in the ocean.
Comment: Judee...I love this series of swaps to see what is out there in the PC world!! What a fun PC to give me a chance to sit awhile and color (so relaxing!) I like the "O" quote you sent... and for teh warm temp you posted for your area...only in the 50's today in NY...burr!! Thank you and have a great summer!!...Charlene
Comment: Thank you for the map card of CA. I have visited San Francisco and Los Angeles area over 5 years ago. I would like to visit your state again, but not sure. Most of U.S. travels have been driving.
Comment: Judee, thank you for the postcard.. I love to read, I took a course in speed reading in college, so I am able to read a book quite.quickly. I see you like your Kindle, It is too slow in turning the pages. I guess I am one of the diehard readers. Have you ever heard of Nicholas Sparks? He is local author/director. I really like hs books along with Judith Fluke and her bakery murder mysteries. I buy the whole series at once and then I can keep reading and not have to wait for the next book. It is very reasonable and free shipping. thriftbooks.com Shirley
Comment: Judee, thank you for the map postcards. I wish I could send you some of the rain we have been having lately in trade for some of your sunshine and warm weather. Hope all is well with you, Shirley
Comment: Thanks so much for the great map card, Judee! Sadly, it came out worse for wear after a battle with the mail sorting machine, but eventually made its way to me after an apologetic postal worker tried to patch it up with some tape. I was still able to appreciate it! Happy swapping xox
Comment: HI Judee! I love the Sonora Pass PC you sent. It looks beautiful! I have been from Sacramento to Reno... did I go through these mountains? I don't think I made it to 8,000 ft, so probably not ;-( I have been to 8,000 ft in Colorado, where my brother had a cabin years ago. Thanks for the PC.. Now I want to take a trip to the Sonora Pass this summer! :-) Have fun next time you are there.
Comment: Loved the PC. I TOO LOVE QUILTING. aND LOVE DOING TURN NEEDLE APPLIQUE. Congratuilations on your 4 charity quilts. I belong to a bee that make quilts for shelters. It is so rewarding. Have a great day. bearnbabs
Comment: Judee, thank you for the US map postcard. I wish I could send you some rain. That is all it seems to be doing here. We had about 4 inches between Thursday and Friday. It is supposed to rain all day tomorrow. Shirley
Comment: Thank you, Judee. Beautiful cards and lovely note card & envie as well. I love Puffins too, Have seen them on islands off Maine and on Grand Manan Island in the Bay of Fundy. Your card brought back wonderful memories. Happy holidays.
Comment: Wow! I loved them all. You must have read my profile. I love Van Gogh. I'm a retired Art teacher. And I have a collection of Norma Rockwell's.And I love to bicycle around my neighborhood. Thank you. Have a Very Merry Christmas. bearnbabs
Comment: Thanks for the great "O" postcards! I laughed at the big FISH on the Oregon PC - the fish is bigger than the boat! haha! I didn't know that Ohio had covered bridges - we went through Ohio this fall - we must have been in the wrong part! Thanks so much for the ocean PC, with the Golden Gate Bridge spanning the water! Beautiful!`Thank you so much!!
Comment: Hi Judee! Please forgive the late rating. Thank you so much for the very nice cards you sent to fulfill this swap The koalas in the tree are the cutest EVER, kitties! (an automatic heart;+), and my first 'Keep Calm' card. Wonderful!
Comment: Thanks for the very interesting postcard--that elk must have a headache by the end of the day from keeping those gigantic antlers standing up so wide and tall all day! : - ) He is a handsome, healthy, strong animal. I've not seen one in the wild, but I've not been to Yellowstone either. I ready to go if I can get hubby out of his recliner! Thanks for a great choice for the letter E.
Comment: Judee, thank you for the map postcard of Yellowstone National Park. You were so lucky to see the beautiful ME fall foliage. We went to MA 2 weeks ago and were disappointed that the fall foliage was late and we didn't get to see much of it. One of the main reasons of going other than to the see family. Oh well, I did get to smell some of the fall weather if that makes sense. Where we now live in NC, it is mostly the long leaf pine trees. I don't know why they are named that they are just very long pine needles. Fall is definitely my favorite season, I do miss the foliage and apple orchards(oh, just anything to do with fall). Happy Halloween!! Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful desert PC. We are about 7 hours north of the coast so we didn't get very affected by the Hurricanes here. Just some really interesting clouds, and a bit of wind and rain.
Comment: What a yummy looking PC - I don't think I could take one and destroy the pretty presentation! Yes my son does live in Maine - he's been there for 18 years now and loves it. It's such a beautiful state and I hope you enjoy your visit there. . . have you been there before? Take care and happy swapping ~~
Comment: It's always so good to find you at my mailbox! Thanks for the great PCs for this swap - I especially like the elephant PC as it's different than most of them. Thanks again and hope you're doing great ~~
Comment: Judee! Thank you so much for the adorable otter postcard! I am absolutely obsessed with it! It's the second otter PC I have received via SwapBot :) They make me so happy! Thank you again! Love from Sophie <3
Comment: Incredible but the postman delivered me this morning your PC sent in March (it is the postmark)! Maybe it travelled around the world for 5 months ^^ Thank you very much for this beautiful multiview PC :)
Comment: Thanks for the card. Oh, yes, we love both cats and dogs. Up until about a year ago we had a Tortie named Cookie who ruled this house. When she passed at the ripe old age of 16 the kids were devastated. They had known her all their lives. So I decided no more pets. Well, that didn't last very long. My wife brought home an old Yorkie last fall that someone gave her and the oldest nephew brought home a yellow Lab pup a few weeks ago so now we have two dogs but no cats. We also have Mr. T a turtle that we rescued from the street by the pond. People keep telling us that we should return him to the pond but the kids won't hear of it.
Comment: Thank you for the great PCs Judee! I love these scavenger swaps :D Just FYI your envie came with 21 cents due. I think my post office is getting quite militant about incoming mail having the correct postage because I have received several postage due recently lol
Comment: Hi Judee . . . first, let me say that your card is simply gorgeous! I see that it is made by Shutterfly from one of you photos. Beautiful. Once I got over the excitement of the notecard, I looked at the postcards . . . and they're awesome! My absolute favorite is: 'Rush Hour - Ireland.' What fun. Thanks for choosing so thoughtfully for me.
Comment: lol, The idea was that it had a mishap before it arrived. I have some postcards like the one you sent. They are like a sheet of paper. Yours arrived with the top right hand corner slightly bent. It surprised me that it arrived in such good condition. I wish you happy endings to your swaps.
PS I have never sent the ones I had, I was POSITIVE they would be destroyed. lol
Comment: Thank you for this American Flag and Eagle postcard, Judee! I haven't ever purchased anything from Cafe Press, but I think I'll have to check them out now! :-) Happy 4th to you and yours! Thank you for sharing.
Comment: Thank you for this Q is for Quote postcard, Judee! And what a curious Jane Austen quote it is! :-) (You haven't ever read any of her works? You really should. I read Pride and Prejudice - for the first ever time - two years ago - at the age of 40, lol - and loved it.) Thank you for sharing!
Comment: Judee, thanks for the Calif state card; I'm a SoCal native myself, though it's been many years since I left. But I'm a desert girl so Phoenix is a less expensive alternative for me. I find it a hoot that you can't purchase map cards at your local stores. I find my AZ state cards at War-Mart. Happy swapping.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard 😋 That's super cool that Eric draws for Marvel. I unfortunately won't be going to SDCC this year but I have a friend who will be. I will have to tell him to stop by. The website looks great. Have an awesome day, Nathan
Comment: Thanks for the card. No, I don't think I am related to this Jonathan Young. The Young side of my family came to the States from Prussia about 1910. They changed the spelling from Jung to Young. I imagine this man is a New Englander not a Prussian who came to make his fortune in the US.
Comment: Judee ~ What a wonderful selection of PCs you chose for this swap - I love them all . . .but the horse and the sidewinder PCs are fantastic! Thank you so much. . . and thanks for the extra flower PCs - perfect for my collection.
Comment: Hi Judee! Thanks so much for the postcard of a beautiful Burmese cat! We have a cat that looks similar living next door but he/she never lets me pet him/her! Maybe one day! So sorry to hear about your cat but I am sure he/she lived a wonderful life! Thank you again for the postcard! <3
Comment: OMG!! Thank you for such a great swap! I LOVE the postcards you sent. So very cool. Those go in my "save" pile! Thank you also for the Star Trek ticket stub. I love the new Star Trek movies. Chris Pine is the perfect James T. Kirk! I also really like the bookmark. I was just looking for one earlier today - now I have one. :-) I go to Comic Con every year. It's so amazing. I will look for your son in artist alley. He's an artist for Marvel comics?! I am totally nerding out right now!! That is the coolest EVER!! You are today's "brush with greatness"! LOL Thanks for putting a smile on my face today. I really needed it. :-)
Comment: Lovely map card, thank you. I tried to see if I could name all the states from it, but I got stuck on Iowa, West Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, Vermont and New Hampshire and I had to look them up. Something new learned today, thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard. I hit the motherload with postcards at a thrift shop! I bought 75 for $3.60. Our musuems have only military postcards because I live in a military town. They are not very pretty but I buy them anyway. If I ever see a truck stop I'll check it out. Our drug stores don't have postcards. CVS, Wallgreen and RiteAid are no go's. Thanks again!!
Comment: Thank you for this beautiful Hawaii postcard, Judee! I have never been, unfortunately, but someday! And now, the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is on my must-visit list! :-) Thank you so much for sharing!
Comment: thank you for all the great cards! My favorite was the sunset one- I love the black hills/badlands area. I think it's awesome your son works for Marvel! I love Marvel- big fan of the comics & movies. :)
Comment: Thank you for the great card of Israel. Even though I am a Christian, I pass off bibles that have maps. Yet, this is different to receive for a swap. I really enjoy it and made me smile when viewing the lovely card.
Comment: Hi Judee! Thanks for the Lassen postcard. Yosemite is also our favorite National Park in CA. We still have 2 CA national parks that we haven't visited: Channel Islands and Pinnacles. Hope to go there someday soon.
Comment: Hi Judee! Thank you for the lovely Coastal pc! I have been to Washington State and we went to the beach there - even in August the water was really cold - so different from the Gulf, which we visited in October and the water still rocked!! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hi, Judee--Thanks for the Z postcard; I also used zebras for the Z. I was thinking it was rather an obvious and too boring choice, but time dictated that I go with what was easiest or me since I sent it after I broke my hip, That sure cancelled Christmas plans. I'm getting a bit better almost every day. I'm glad she's starting over from the beginning again because I missed most of the letters last year--moving twice in June and Sept. and then the ##@#@#broken hip! I have the first four cards all ready to go so these will be ultra easy until I am fully recovered. Then I'm having cataract surgery on Feb,26. The other eye is early in March. Looking forward to more swaps with you soon!
Comment: It's very nice swapping with you, too! Thanks for the cool map cards, it is fun seeing the new mexico style the same as the Colorado style! I'm going to look on their website and see if it shows which She states they gaveit would be cool to have a whole series. Speaking of such, you sent me 3 states that touch( and one not too far from them)! That could be its own fun scavenger hunt, touching states or countries! Except I couldn't participate because I don't want to part with them now that I have e them! Once I get a map card I don't have I just can not part with it. Thanks also for the ribbon! I miss seeing swaps but I have to knuckle down and finish my quilts. But to procrastinate further I'm going to take a free paper pieccing class once a month at a quilt museum...Thanks for the 5 great PCs!
Comment: What a pretty snowy PC. . . I always like how lots of snow looks but don't welcome it. We did have snow here but only about an inch -- I'm hopeful this winter will be a warmer, less snowy year than we've had in the pat couple years. Thanks again for the pretty PC and hope you're doing great out there ~~
Comment: No I do not believe I have read that book. The chickens are doing really well. We have been lucky so far and the shorter days have not really cut their production. Thank you for the cardinal sticker on the card!
Comment: Thank you for the very festive mug rug and batik fabric. The green glitter thread is so attractive, it brings to mind a package wrapped in ribbon. Love the touch of snowflakes on the fabric; did you make them? The entire mug rug is so beautiful, I know it will be a favorite for a very long time.
Comment: Thank you for a very pretty postcard of the train station in Redlands, CA, Judee. And it's very interesting that the major employer there is a software company. I would have thought the major employer would have something to do with oranges! :-)
Comment: Judee ~~ Thanks for the great PC - those two were quite the deal back in the day. I hadn't heard of Leonard Barkley but am going to check him out. I do enjoy Sandford and Coben and I'm always looking for authors I haven't tried before -- thanks for the new treat for me :-) And, of course, thanks so much for the great PC. . . hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful stamp design postcard, Judee! The USPS does issue postcards with designs based on stamp designs from time to time, but it's become relatively unusual. Great Britain did a lot of this; much more than the USPS ever did, and those cards are widely available as postcard and stamp shows. Canada and New Zealand have done a fair bit of that, and I've even seen one from Malta (https://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/US-4254826).
I'm not familiar with Leonard Barkley, and a quick search for the name didn't turn up anything. Have any pointers?
Comment: Judee, apologies for the very late rating! Thank you for the beautiful bison postcard! They are such magnificent creatures. You're very lucky to have seen them at Yellowstone. I would love to see one in the wild some day, hopefully one day if I travel to the US! Happy swapping :)
Comment: Judee, you didn't send me the map of Idaho. So it is new. Talking to my children yesterday in Ma, they had aver 5 inches of snow and snowmen were seen everywhere. I'll take NC anytime. Shirley
Comment: Thanks! The Pirates of the Carolinas was an interesting one, and I always like those Mapping Curiosities maps. It ALWAYS rains during the Stampede, lol, but I'm glad you liked your visit here.
Comment: Hi Judee ~~ Thank you so much for the lovely PCs for this swap. I love the bright flower PC -- such brilliant colors. I also enjoyed the Redlands station -- I remember that building. The photo you took is just beautiful - the coloring is very unique. Thanks again for the great PCs and the beautiful card ~~
Comment: Thank you for the sleek, stunning Elektra card, Judee -- I've always loved how her design reminds me of the 70s :) Mmm, your blueberry banana bread and quilt guild auction sound lovely! Hope you are enjoying the start of this fine month <3
Comment: I've never been to Vancouver but it reminds me a little of Manhattan how it juts out into the water as it does and has all the tall buildings. Thanks for sharing a great PC -- had no idea that's what Vancouver looked like!
Comment: Belated thank you for this serene, lovely Money bridge and white nenuphars, the beautiful Indiana vista, cheerful teal daisy sticker, and recommendation of Rogue Layer :) I haven't yet read Mr. Grisham's novels, but I feel that I'd like them. Happy reading!
Comment: Hi Judee . . . thank you for the lovely selection of cards you sent for this swap. My most favorite is the Asian Empress with those LOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGG fingernails! Crazy! Also love the Ghost Towns card.
Comment: Yes, I have been to Sicily. In fact we lived halfway up Mount Etna for two years. We loved the place and the people! Your card brought back a lot of wonderful memories, so I am giving you a heart. Thanks, and happy swapping!
Comment: I knew when I saw you at my mailbox that the PCs were going to be good ones. . . and I was right! Thanks so much - the one of London at night is so pretty, and the ones of Idaho and Colorado are breathtaking. . .and who can resist the gorgeous face of a leopard. Thanks again dear swap-bot friend ~~
Comment: Great city view PCs. . . I especially like the one of Seattle with the ferris wheel in the foreground -- I do love glitz :-) The one of Portland, OR is really a spectacular view of the city, and I wasn't aware that Pittsburgh had one of the few inclines remaining in the US even though I've been to Pittsburgh! Thanks again for the great city view PCs ~~
Comment: Hi Judee! Thanks for the lovely cards you sent to fulfill this swap. I'm really loving the little Elf Owl card and the cute kissing prairie dogs. I was really touched by the card with the lion & lioness--so special.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely Asian Gardens postcard! I have been to the one in San Francisco which I loved. My daughter was only 4 when we were their but she and I had a grand time going to sights using the bus system--she wanted to see the Aquarium twice. For a long time she planned to be a marine biologist, but ended up in Human Resources, with MBA, and then a JD. I've often wondered if she made a wrong turn because she still loves diving in the Caribbean and off coast of Honduras. Hope you and your family are all fine!
Comment: Hi Judee! I love your sweet puppy pc! I could just give that little guy/gal big hugs! I am a dog person at heart, we have a yellow lab mix that is going to be 14 this year - he is not the smartest tool in the shed but we love him to pieces and he is very loyal to the family! I think the little ball of fur on your pc is just too cute though!! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: What a surprise, it arrived before my trip to England but thanks for writing about it :) I love this card it's kind of cute!
Halloween is not a national holiday but quite some people do celebrate it. Me and my friends usually watch horror movies, while some themeparks have horror nights. Never seen any trick-or-treaters, but I do believe there's a few people doing that too.
Comment: Judee ~ I hope you had a wonderful trip -- it sounds like you saw a lot of places! Thanks for the PCs for this swap . . . yes the WY one fits nicely :-)
Thanks so much and have a great Independence Day. . . do they still have fireworks at the football field in Redlands?
Comment: Funny story, the post office mailed your postcard to Catherine Hoover. Catherine then mailed the postcard to me. So sweet of her. That is the reason for the delay in receiving my postcard. Thank you so much.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful foiled bird and floral card -- it reminds me of French textiles :) -- and book recommendation! I enjoyed the Snow White and the Huntsman film and look forward to seeing its sequel. Happy weekend, Judee!
Comment: Judee ~ Thanks for the great "C" PCs. I really liked the Rockwell one of the kids playing marbles. . .I grew up playing marbles, something the kids just don't do anymore! I hope you have a great time in Wyoming - you'll definitely see cowboys there (I'm originally from South Dakota). Thanks again for the great PCs for this swap ~
Comment: Hi Judee, I read your notecard first and I was confused by your comment about resending the correct items, but then I discovered the postcard you had sent first. Thanks for catching the mistake and fixing it before I even had the chance to notice! Have a great week, Cynthia
Comment: Thank you for the cool "Keep Calm..." fountain pen card (I like how the Mont Blanc Mozart miniature pen looks, but I'd much rather spend the money on traveling, books, or more snail mail :) and book recommendation! I have heard of Goodreads but haven't used it yet; I mark my books on iCal/in a Notepad file but will have to try it! Happy weekend :)
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful starry quilt card, Judee! Safe travels to Wyoming :) Hope you enjoy Big Sky country! My apologies for the tardy rating -- it's been a busy, stressful week filled with pet abduction and recovery (I am still furious/upset at the neighbor responsible for this), lots of cooking and baking, community events, and out-of-town guests. Happy weekend!
Comment: Thank you for the whimsical, adorable quilt of dancing cows and stars! Happy travels to Wyoming -- I have not yet been there and would love to attend the Longmire Days or run the Yellowstone Half-Marathon one day :) If you ever come to Louisiana, let me know if you need recommendations for places to visit/eat! Happy weekend!
Comment: Judee ~ What an interesting selection of PCs for this swap -- I loved them all and had to do some research on a couple of them - I like to do research when I received a PC that peaks my interest. The surprising one was the Elvis Inn. . .never would have thought of an Elvis anything in Jerusalem -- that really boggled my mind. Have you been there? Thanks again for such a great selection and hope you're having a wonderful week ~~
Response: Hi. No I haven't been anywhere near Jerusalem. I got that card in another swap. It boggles my mind too.
Comment: Judee ~~ It's always so good to see you at my mailbox :-) I love the PCs you chose for this swap. The Lemur is so darn cute and the Dwarf Kingfisher is gorgeous. . . but the polar bear is just spectacular. I will be sending that one to my son in Maine who has loved polar bears since he was 8 years old (he's not 46) - he's had quite a collection of figurines, paintings, clothing, etc so I'm sure this PC will end up on his refrigerator. Thanks again for the great selection and hope you have a wonderful week ~~
Comment: I live in a seaside town that has fishing as an industry so we too have a harbour similar to the one portrayed in this pc so I did like this postcard very much, thank you Judee. My MIL is an avid fan of Agatha Raisin and she usually passes on these books to me :)
Comment: Thank you for the awesome postcard. I love all post cards. Banged up or not lol i think it gives the pc more character and tells a little bit about its journey through the Postal Land haha. Thank you very much. Another place I havent been but we surely visit:) thank you again. Hugs
Comment: Hi Judee! Love your nature pc and I love DST as well! I feel so much more energized when it is light longer - when we "fall" back and it is dark so early, I want to hibernate like a bear! Hope you have fun at your evening activities! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Judee ~~ What great PCs! I really like them all but especially the umbrellas and the dead tree. Thanks so much for the very different PCs for this swap and hope you have a wonderful weekend ~~
Comment: That is definitely a reproduction vintage movie poster pc! Very cool! I have seen some of Chaplin's movies, but I'm not too good with silent because I always want to be cross stitching while I watch tv or movies and listen to dialogue while I look at my work. Thanks!
Comment: Hi Judee, I'm so sorry to hear about you dog. I know how they can break your heart. I've had the same. I never had a cat in my entire 60 until this Christmas one came into our lives and we rescued her. Thus, her name is Christmas. She's amazing and she found us! Thanks for the card. Beautiful! With every good wish, Jane
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful charms! I love the turquoise and brown together and the paisleys are my favorite :) I'm not in a guild. I have thought of going to the quilt show but am worried about how much I'd spend! I also want to join an embroidery / cross stitch guild but same issue as they have these fabulous seminars and embroidery projects. Thanks also for the cool vintage pcs! Very unique! I don't have any like them :)
Comment: Love the PCs we rolled at the 'flooded engine' my daughter said 'well she isn't worng?' we just laughed. i would love to share my studio with you when ever you come out east!!! look me up! I joind the quilt group. i am trying to get caught up on swaps right now though.
Comment: I love this ad card. . . is it a place you've been to? I no a lot f people from this area go to Rehoboth Beach so it's most likely a popular place. . it's a rather interesting card for a restaurant and bar. Thanks for the great ad card ~~
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card and sticker, Judee! I would love to visit New Zealand as well :) In browsing postcards on RedBubble, I've seen quite a few gorgeous ones of the aurora australis from various NZ locations.

Comment: thank you for the cute kitty postcard :), we lost our last family cat back in 2011 and I never thought I would have a kitty of my own, then in May 2014 I found a stray in our garden but couldn't find her home, so she made her home in my heart and had been with me ever since, I can't imagine a day without her :)
Comment: I am a fan of audio books, too. I have 3 kids in 3 different schools, so I don't save them for trips! Right now, I am listening to a Fannie Flagg book read by the author. It is so wonderful to hear the book the way she intended it to be read. She has the absolute BEST southern accent (this coming from a GA girl). I recommend checking your library to see if they have any of her books!!!!
Comment: Thanks! Love the US map card - the others are new to me. I've been to Alcratraz (very interesting) and I've never heard of the Snail Kite. I'm starting to be interested in state facts, so thanks for the Indiana State Tree.
Comment: Oh, Judee, thank you so much for the hats...the extra one was so unexpected and so sweet! I will think of you all winter while I'm enjoying these! I can't thank you enough for agreeing to swap these!
Comment: Thanks for the lighthouse card, Judee! This is not one I know of, and will look up its location and about this harrowing trolley ride (which sounds fun). Merry Christmas, and all the best for a great 2016, Carol in Denver
Comment: Thank you for the awesome microwave bowl cozies. I have seen the bowls but have not made them myself. Thanks also for the sewing notions, I will have fun using them in a project. Merry Christmas.
Comment: â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸Oh my goodness! I absolutely LOVE the beautiful hat...and all the extra goodies as well! I feel completely spoiled and so blessed by all that you sent! Thank you so, so much! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Comment: Hello Judee & thank you for the "C" big cat postcard you sent to me for the swap. Yes, I enjoy looking at photo views of cats, big cats. The South Africa night time, full moon view of a leopard is great "mood" portrait photo. I've had to pass on opportunities to get close to big cats sadly as I am allergic to cats. But I've taken photos of them, having a telephoto lens helps get close photos. Happy November!
Comment: LOVED the postcard! I love maps and loved that this one was a "Treasure Map" of California. I actually have maps hanging in my house - okay so its a Middle Earth map and Narnia map and an old London map .. :) and the best is a book that has a map in the front :)
Comment: What an interesting piece of art -- always enjoy seeing art because it is all so very different. Early fall is here so our temps have been in the high 70s and low 80s - absolutely glorious! Thanks for the interesting art PC and stay cool ~~
Comment: Thanks for the card--always love Monet. Yes, I have read the Monica Ferris books--I've actually met her at a couple of mystery conferences. She does have a collection of many hats that she wears to all the events.
Comment: Is the first photo "aquarium", second "art" and fourth "anchor"? I couldn't guess the third, the nearest I could come up with was "Arctic seal". Also I noticed they seem all to be taken in August(s). ;)
Comment: Thank you for your postcard and sharing your depression story. I am always vigilant in taking my medications and thank you for caring. Please feel free to keep in touch with me if you would like =D
Comment: Hi Judee! You're my first 200,000 swapper to arrive. I love this card! My favourite type of swapping is postcards too, and my very favourites are cards that make me laugh. And this silly Knick Knack snowman did just that ! Thanks a bunch!
Comment: Thank you for the card from Toronto. No, I've never been before. What's so funny is, I sent out a different card from Toronto in this swap that I too received in another swap! So funny because we both live in California with lots of big cities nearby!
Comment: Judee - Thanks for the really cute PC. I lived in Riverside for 17 years and also enjoyed going to San Diego - was always such a treat to go there for the weekend and think it is one of the best cities climate-wise in California. Thanks again for the cute PC ~~
Comment: Hi Judee! Thank you for picking such cool cards to send. I've never seen that Canada pc! :) The vintage cards are ridiculously gorgeous; I love everything. Thanks very much for joining and for all the happy mail.
Comment: Thanks for the Frida Kahlo PC -- shew does look very springlike in the photo :) We just got snow again on Sunday night after it had melted away and the daffodils' leaves were poking up. Happy Women's History Month!
Comment: Thank you so much! Fun and unique! I love how the German one is showing where fairy tales came from, I guess?! So cool! Then I always am excited to get one of the Art of Instruction PCS. Thanks for all of them!
Comment: Thank you for the card and the quote, which I had not heard before and liked very much. You forgot to write the swap name on the card though, and it took me three tries to find the right swap to rate.💕
Comment: Hi Judee. Thank you for the nice art card. That would be a lot of detail to tackle in quilting. I haven't quilted in several years because of a trigger finger. I've always pieced and quilted by hand. I might someday try machine. I have a pieced wall quilt that I might hire someone to finish for me. For reading my profile and the nice pc and lovely message, you've earned your heart. Happy swapping and wishing you many new s-b friendships.
Comment: Thank you for the cooool Redlands Santa Fe Station PC! I thought I rated you so, sorry for the late rate. One adventure had me in Colton and I was flabbergasted by a train "traffic jam" wow! I love train travel and especially love amtrak sleeper cars! Keep up the awesome, Judee!
Comment: I love this card! I wish that particular design were available around here! I've got stacks of different Florida cards from local shops near my home, but I've never seen that one before - I love it!! Thank you very much!
Comment: Judee ~ So good to have you at my mailbox again! What great PCs you sent for this swap - I loved the one of the Badlands in SD. . . my 'home' state and the Badlands hold such wonderful memories for me and my family. Thanks again for the great PCs and hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving ~~
Comment: Hello Judee, thank you for the spectacular nighttime view of Los Angeles & Hollywood, CA, you sent to me for the swap! Made a trip back in 1980 with my sister to Los Angeles & Hollywood, CA. We really enjoyed our trip to Knott's Berry Farm & Disneyland. Fun swap!
Comment: Judee -- So good to have you as a partner again :-) Thanks so much for the great PCs. . . I do enjoy the scavenger hunt swaps so much and the PCs you sent are wonderful. Thanks again and happy swapping ~~
Comment: Thanks for the card! Yes, comics are quite a big thing here in Finland, we have a big indie cartoon scene and I just got back from a local 24h Comics Day. Checked your son's website, some really cool stuff there, you must be proud to have such talent in the family!
Comment: I loved the cards that you sent! Also thank you so much for throwing in an extra one. That was very sweet. I absolutely adore the card of the Empire State Building. It's a structure that I see everyday on my commute but I realized that I take it for granted in a way. Much Appreciated!!!!
Comment: Hi Judee ~~ Thanks for the great mapcards - I really like the Oklahoma one (mileage map) and think it is the first of its type that I've received. I've driven across Oklahoma a couple times in my life so an attest to every mile :-) Thanks again. . . and hope you're doing great!
Comment: Thanks so much for the Kentucky PC! I haven't been but I have only 6 more states to visit and i will have visited all 50! There is a fire burning in June Lake right now and I am seeking refuge from all the smoke. One of my favorite places is Grant Lake! I love it when people know where I am talking about when it comes to the Wilds of The Eastern Sierras! Let me know when you are in town next time! Keep up the awesome,Judee!
Response: You're welcome. We will be at the Heidelberg Inn Oct. 11-18.if it is still there. Send me your contact info.
Comment: Hi Judee! I have driven through Kentucky but never stopped for a visit - it always looks like it would be fun but we are heading elsewhere! LOL! Watching the ponies race would be fun though! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thanks for the California PC, Judee. I laughed to see that even postcards have gone high tech now... two of those little thingies that you can scan and watch videos! Not me, I don't have one of those smart phones. But even the high tech didn't prevent the postal machinery from mangling your card... It arrived with a big tear across one corner but it got through! Thanks!~
Comment: the first one never showed, but thank you ever so much for the re-send!!! lovely painting of a seasoned woman in a blue get up and white floral corsage (and I truly appreciated the Cash postage and snail sticker, thank you!) -sincerest apologies for such a late rate, Do Take Care & Happy Swapping!
Comment: Aloha & thank you for the Hawaii PC. I just loved the hula skirt :-)
Happy early anniversary! Mine is Sept 23rd for 30 years!
I hope that you will have a wonderful time in Hawaii!
Comment: Hello Judee & thank your sending me a Quilt view postcard for the swap. Wow, that's a handmade quilt made to look like a village at night with stained glass windows! Gorgeous modern quilt! Glad to meet another quilter. My Mom is the one who has made several quilts & is working on a white one now. Happy August!
Comment: Thanks so much for this beautiful Northern Harrier PC!!! I have never seen this bird of prey before! I will have to look it up and see if it comes up here. I sometimes miss the drama of thunderstorms, but then, again not the devastation, they can cause. Hope your summer is going swimmingly! Happy Swapping. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Wow, what a beautiful quilt! I love the colors and machine couching and embroidery :) I find circular binding challenging, and yours looks really sharp! And thanks so much for the pattern -- the teeny dolls are adorable. I have to go look up Parisian Essence now :) The Chateau Frontencac PC matches the quilt -- I have them next to each other in my tiny "office" space and need to figure out a better arrangement. Thanks so much!!
Comment: Thank you! The little critters are my fave. We have TONS of prairie dogs just right up the street. In fact I sit and watch them out the library windows when I go there. They had babies not long ago and it's cute to watch the little ones follow around the mamas. Some consider them a pest but at least these particular ones are on protected open space land. :-)
