Comment: Greetings neighbour 😂. Thank you for the post card - I love Beatrix Potter's illustrations. I haven't noticed any crocuses but I have seen lots of daffodils and I have purple snow drops in my yard 😀 Hopefully you do too by the time you read this but if not 🌻🌷🌾🌻
Comment: Thanks for this gorgeous swap! Beautifully done and I love the stamps too! Yes, we have spring here in May. In fact, we had "spring weather" all winter, here this year. Just a few cold days (below 30` F) and hardly any snow. All the hills are green now, with white snow on the mountains. Soon we will have wildflowers everywhere. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: I only got 1 out of 2 ATCs that the swap required. She promised a resend when I told her, but I still haven't received anything. I've tried to contact her but she won't read my messages. I'm really sorry for rating a 3, but I've waited for way too long already.
Response: sorry you did not get my second letter... it was sent a long time ago
Comment: Thanks for the postcard with all of the cool stamps. 😋 I hope your weather is nice. We are already having miserable summer weather in Florida. It is way too hot and muggy. Can't wait for fall.
Comment: before I talk about your atc...I want to thank you for the three beautiful Canada stamps on the letter ..the snake was amazing..and they weren't marked through ..they were pristine...the atc was wonderful those eyes were haunting...I often use colored paper with pencils ..a great effect..thanks for a great swap...
Comment: Thank you! Those shoes do look comfortable & cute. It's too bad they're so uncomfortable. I've seen these shoes before & the person wearing them also said how uncomfortable they were. Giant foot, lol :-)
Comment: Hahaha. I totally feel this way after I exercise. I'm going to post this card up at my desk to remind myself to stay on track :) Love how you used a sticker for my name and the stamps are awesome too!
Comment: Thank you for the adorable funny postcard - I love it! I enjoyed your little personalized message on the back and the presentation of the card is super clever and the stamps are beautiful. You have earned your heart for making this extra special for me. I wish you an overflowing mailbox of many wonderful surprises.
Response: thanks for the nice comment and I'm glad you liked your PC
Comment: Thank you for the "Jeremy Fisher"pc...this was one of my favorites to read to my sons when they were young. The cherry blossoms are blooming(Feb-May) and yes, spring is here in BC! Have a lovely day :)
Comment: Thank you for the funny cat card. I used to have cat just like it. She loved to lick, then BITE. We are starting to put on some warm weather to welcome Santa. I hope that you have an enjoyable Christmas.
Comment: Thank you so much, the envelope and stamps are gorgeous, and the ATC really intriguing. I never would have come up with the 3D idea or thought of trying to replicate the wolves. I love the ducky-wolf morph! Wild :)
Comment: Thank you for the cool fashion PC - i love manga/anime and i would love it if we had something like this here or even somewhere near here (really have to visit some countrys like that) :D and the stamp you used is amazing - also the lady with the book is a nice touch :D thank you :)
Comment: thanks for the great "P" ATC - love the deer, did you draw it? So cute! And thanks for the great stamps on the envelope, postage and rubber stamp images -- my son-in-law got his first elk a week ago, bow hunting, so the antlers on your envelope rang a bell. Happy Swapping, your Bot Buddy, Phyllis
Comment: another great nailpolish atc...and yes it is very stinky ...but the rewards are very nice...like your take a lot...so full of life..and very modern..thanks so much ... love the cat on the cycle!
Comment: Hello Tünde! Thank you very much for an amazing postcard! am sure that is a historical moment that has changed the whole world! Eventhough Ukraine is far away from the USA and we do not have a lot of African-Americans, but we know that famous speech "I have a dream today!". Thank you! Have a wonderful summer!!!!! Katya :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the postcard! I must apologise for the late rating as I thought I had already rated you and I was going through my swaps and realised I hadn't yet! It is a very funny cat picture! And I really liked the stamps too!
Response: better late than never :) glad you received it
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome postcard and for sharing about your first love with me! Love letters are hard to come by these days with technology so I feel like they should be treasured even if it didn't work out with the person :D <3
Comment: I actully have a bunch of those strret snap-card but not this one so thanks so much! I love the fashion of Japanese (teenagers in this case it's so out there! Thanks for hosting this swap as well!
Response: thanks for participating and i'm glad you enjoyed the PC
Comment: tünde, I love the ATC you made me. You sure are very creative, what with all the varied techniques you have used and the textural details you have added. The quote is beautiful too! Thank you! :)
Response: great! I just recently flipped through a mixed media book on surface textures and got inspired by some of the techniques
Comment: Thank you for a lovely hand drawn ATC, its really pretty and I'm going to definatly keep this one for along time. As for February in the Uk - it hail stoned yesterday and the day before was my birthday, often this is the worst month for weather in the uk. Doh!
Response: glad you liked it... and I hope your Bday was great anyways :)
Comment: How perfect--Hopper is one of may absolute favorite artists (and who I sent in this swap too)!! Love this painting so much and the stamps were gorgeous! We are having a rainy sunday with temps headed down though as we head into the new year! Happy mails!
Comment: Love this card! :oD The funny front & message on the back, the colored-in rubber stamp image, and the face you made with the 'T'. ;o) Last, but not least, the horse & saddle and caterpillar stamps. Canada always produces such wonderful stamps - wish our USPS would do the same!
Response: glad you liked it. some of your stamps are pretty neat though!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful Mermaid PC. You took my breathe away when I first saw it. I just sat back and looked at it taking in all the different aspects of the PC. Then I began to feel really quilty and ashamed about the PC that I did and sent out. I am in the process of redoing my PC and pm'd my partner to let them know. Thank you for hosting this swap.
A very Merry Christmas to you and your family. Blessings, ellie
Comment: I like this postcard a lot! Very nice stamps too! Thank you!! My husband was up in Michigan this past weekend, they had a couple inches of snow up there. We ( in IL) only got a few flakes. Stay warm! Happy holidays!
Comment: What a cool card - thanks! :o) And the stamps - I LOVE the stamps! :oD Canada always has such
great ones (they were one of the countries I used to collect), maybe I should move to Canada? I'm not saying that ours suck, but they're often just "ho-hum". You should see some of the cards I've had in my "weird" category! ;o)
Response: Thanks for the nice comment- as far as the stamps go- since I am a regular the ladies at my local post office order fun stamps just for my privileged penpals...
Comment: I just received your ATC thank you so much for sending it. I would have completely understood if you couldn't have gotten it to me. The ATC is just lovely and thank you for all the wonderful extras. Fall is taking it's time a bit here the leaves are starting to change but there is still a lot of green. It is getting a bit chilly and the rain has started.
Comment: Musicians do work ALOT-Like the happy fiddlers postcard. Thanks for the great bug stamps too and the other-a group maybe in Canada-anyway thanks for adding to my collection. Spent my Labor Day in my pj's working on crafts-no that's my idea of a good day! Thanks for swapping!
Comment: Thank you so much for your take on O'Keefe, I also found her work inspirational. We are still in winter for another 6 weeks or so, not that you would know it where I am. We have had very spring like, warm clear days and I have still been enjoying the surf. However in the south of our State near where my son is working it has been snowing. Big State. My grandchildren are counting down the days to their school holidays next month. Cheers Marg
Comment: What a wonderful PC! I liked the hedgehog on the back. If you drew that, you are VERY talented!!! Weirdest thing. I got two postcards on Saturday from two different countries and both had a hedgehog on them. Seriously, what are the odds!?
Response: funny for sure - I love hedgehogs and I used a stamp there
Comment: Thanks for the great card. And what a good idea to send it in the clear plastic sleeve! Some over-dilligent postal employee had poked holes over each stamp to cancel them with slashes of a ballpoint pen :) Have a terrific vacation. Are you traveling?
Response: you are welcome! We are going on small trips this year (New York, Maritimes, maybe a canoo trip) but I cannot wait just to take it easy!!!
Comment: Love the ATC! And thanks for the extras. Happy swapping!
Hello again! I wasn't feeling well yesterday, and this morning when I looked at all the lovely stamps and the decorated envelope I decided I really should have given you a heart! I know I will use the stamps on future ATC's. Thanks again!
Response: Thanks for the heart, and great you re-using your stamps ( I am selfish and keep nice stamps for myself hehe)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card, Tünde. And yes, we do seem to have become practically swapbot pen-pals! Some crazed postal employee took a black marker and spoiled all those wonderful insect stamps you used. I don't get it! They should encourage snail mail instead of destroying it.
Comment: Thanks for the card, Tünde. I like Edward Hopper, but joyful & jolly are about the last adjectives I'd ever apply to either his work or to Gloucester! Blame it on the weather which was always gloomy when I was there...
Comment: Thanks for the FreshFruits card, Tunde. Funny, I'd been on the lookout for these cards and just picked up a couple at a shop in St Pete. Then yours appeared in my mailbox. Synchronicity strikes again! Love the addition of the gal in the convertible!
Response: glad you liked it... I like sending PC-s that are eye-candies (maybe because I like real candy soooo much hehe)
Comment: I am not familiar with the woman featured on the postcard. A quote of hers was written on the pc but I have no idea what genre she writes or from what era she is/was. The variety of postage stamps on the postcard was nice.
Comment: I love how this was intended, but 8 of the 9 pieces of bling had fallen off by the time it arrived due to improper packaging. I had never seen some of those embellishments, which I do love and will try to repair it. Thank you.
Response: I tried industrial strength glue but it did not do the trick...about the embelishments- some of that is antic store treasure...
Comment: Oh I love it! :) I have a full pack of Vanity fair postcards but sending them out to others. Nice to have one of them written and sent back! :) Köszönöm and viszlát! (I'm right, you have Hungarian roots?)
Comment: Thank you very much for your super card. I can't believe how cold it gets over there! We had 6 inches of snow and it lasted a week. Unfortunately we have flooding again now. As usual the country ground to a halt.
Comment: Thank you for the awesome postcard. I love the joke! Very cheesy! I love the stamps! My favorite is the Libra Scales! I'm a Libra & it's the first time I have ever seen a stamp made for that! Love it! Did you make the little snowman kid drawing? Too cute! lol
Response: wow, I did not check your birthday and I suck at astrology but I'm glad that it was your sign!
Comment: Hi Tunde! I love the verdant green in this PC!!! We have no snow right now... only wind and rain. I love all the postage stamps and your "chillin'" stamp too. Stay warm! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: You have no snow in Alaska? I thought you guys are snowed in till May!
Comment: Tunde, thank you for the "dog eye chart" postcard, it is very funny! I agree, it doesn't make sense to me that people don't like Zazzle cards. I think they are wonderful! All the best, Cynthia
Comment: Thanks for the Hopper house card. I too prefer his his people pics. Just got one recently that was a clever takeoff on his Nighthawks. Looked just like the original but the window glass was smashed!
Comment: Hello again, Tunde! Thanks for the cute note and for the lovely postcards. It's hard to pick a favorite because they're all great. Maybe the Monet is my favorite. No, the Quebec card. No, the humor card...the Montreal card...it's so hard to choose. Thanks again! <3
Thank you for the tea postcard. I just want to mention that it did not make it fully intact. A large piece of an image you glued fell off in transit. Nonetheless what did make it was lovely and I appreciate the work you put into it. Happy swapping.
Response: Ohh that is a bummer, I wonder which piece fell off? this is the 1st time when the postal machinery was too rough on card that I sent.. Do you want me to send you a consolation prize?
Comment: Thank you for the Bhangra PC -- Balle Balle! I also love the dance moves, and the rhythms of the dhol, too. I wish there were a group that I could join. Wherever do you find these wonderful postcards for every occasion?! Thanks also for the "Le Botte de Lut" commemorative stamp! And who knew that quilting translates as "Le piquage de courtepointe"? I love getting postcards from Kankalin!
Response: Thank you for the wonderful comments... As far as postcards go Amazon is a good source.
Comment: Merci, encore, for the autumn art PC this time. I'd love to know more about it -- looks like a texture superimposed on a distorted image of fall trees? Or maybe the whole thing is reflected in a lake? And the domestically diasbled describes me to a "T", although I am less elegant than the lady in the stamp :) The leather working stamp is really intriguing.
Comment: Hello! :) Thanks for the beautiful postcard and I have fun reading your imagination of me! :D As I'm an asian , I have long brown - black hair and I'm actually a bit fat>.< I love wearing colorful clothes!
Take care! :)
Comment: I think that your truth is you have a psych degree as well as having a Speech-Path degree. Is that correct? I love the nathalie kitty PC! Very cute. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry Love the stamps too!
Response: you are so right! yes that is my secret truth
Comment: I loved the postcard of Hotel Nelson and its surrounding buildings. The trees along the street were beautiful shades of Fall! The stamps were GREAT! I just LOVED the "blueberry" with the biker beside it. What is the story behind that stamp? If you ever have any more that come in on your throwaway mail, I'd love to have a loose one. Maybe we can set up a trade for a few Canadian stamps? :) I am going to look up "fusion food" now as I don't believe I have know what that is.... ;)
Response: The "blueberry" supposed be a a real giant sculpture somewhere in Canada ( I don't remember which province). Canada Post published in 3 consecutive years 4 stamps /year showing interesting places to visit in Canada and this stamp was a leftover from last year. Next time you are on my list I'll send you another one. Fusion food is a mix of two cuisine style (ex. French with Asian). :)
Comment: Great card, great decoration. Thanks a lot. Summer and fall are gone, we had the first snow last night and it is cold. The cranes are flying South. Sometimes they fly circles over our house and you can hear them calling: Who's got the map?
Comment: Thank you so much for this wonderfull fairy postcard. I love this one so much, it is so mystic! Do you know the author of this cards? Also big thanks for the dragon stamp! It is a fairy too :)
Comment: thank you for the wonderful and really interesting and detiald pc . i was supriseised to see afghanistan. i still am. thank you also for all the great stamps and the joke. my father was a dentist and he would have loved it too. thank you again, for this special pc.
Comment: Tuned, sorry for the late rating. I've been sick in bed for the last 2 weeks! Hmm.. Trying to guess your truth.. Is it #4 that you're a dancer? My mom is a dancer, it'd be cool if you were too! Thanks for the beautiful PC!
Response: I am a dancer but I did not start as a kid, so try again :)
Comment: Thank you for the cards. I will have to send them to my daughter. She will get a kick out of them. She took 4 years of french in high school and likes both theater and fashion. I know they will make her smile.
Response: c'est bien - bit of French practice is always fun
Comment: What a cute card. Looking at it every monday would put a smile on your face. Yes the day that I got the card I found out that I had an infection in my ribs instead of being cracked. I am almost all healed up. Nice not having pain every minute. Thank you again for such a cute card.
Comment: The dog eye chart is great-thanks! Yes, Oshkosh B'Gosh started here, moved manufacturing offshore about 15 years ago, and finally left the headquarters empty about 5 years ago when the heirs sold off the company.
Response: my son was a regular Oshkosh little guy...
Comment: I did notice that there were two participants from Canada... but it's okay because Montreal and rural northern Alberta are probably pretty different! Thank you for the lovely postcard, that really is an awesome shot!
Response: yep it is because of my failing vision... I signed up quickly without checking thoroughly the list :) Glad you enjoyed the diverse Canadian backdrop
Comment: What a great postcard - thank you. Yes it is winter here, but it doesn't look like your postcard - lol. For the last few days I've been running around in just a tshirt and jeans. It's about to turn clod again though. :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the Salvador Dali postcard... mustache to the MAX! AWESOME rubber stamped image and matching mustached postage stamp, too! You sure know how to create the TOTAL themed effect! Love your happy mail!
Response: yeah I do go theme- matching-extra at times :) Glad you liked it
Comment: I love your spin on it and when Paul read this he was like, "how did she know the house plant thing? did you tell her?" and then he proceeded to water the plants. So I think you nailed that part :) He does look ALOT (pretty much exactly) like your description though he got a haircut last week :)
Response: This was such a fun swap again, and I hope you have a big family so when next time we are partners I will have another person/animal/houseplant to describe hihi
Comment: cool pic! my guess is a scale for luggage? let me know! happy swapping! :)
Response: It is a conversion tool. Way back they made maps that were directly scaled so every inch on the map was corresponding a mile in real life. This little tool give you the miles by you rolling the little wheel at the bottom over the map which then makes the the dial turn. Thanks for participating...
Comment: is it something what you can see on how far you must walk in an derection?
thank you for the card!
Response: yep, you are close, way back they made map that were directly scaled so every inch on the map was corresponding a mile in real life. This little tool give you the miles by you rolling the little wheel at the bottom over the map which then makes the the dial turn
Comment: Great hat PC!! She's so beautiful - I just keep staring at her and her hat. You even found a hat sticker! The quote matches the photo quite well, too! Really great PC, and I LOVE the stamps!! Thanks so very much!! :)
Response: I like to go postal on a theme LOL, glad you enjoyed it :)
Comment: LOL! That bunny sure has a way to go to get to that carrot! LOVE that card! Perfect for a typical NE winter... lovin' that it isn't a typical NE winter, though! Wouldn't it be great if this was the new NORMAL? Thanks for the SMILE!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card. I also love the stamp which I already have on one of my pcs but I dont take them off a card. Now I can cut it and put it into the collection. Brrrr, your winter is really cold. +5°C and rainy here.
Comment: Wow, that was definitely a very bad worst thing - but your best thing sure makes up for it! I'm so glad your mom is doing so much better!! I hope she continues to do well throughout 2012.
I'd love to see your article once it's published, too.
Thank you for the beautiful stamps you chose. I always love to see different stamps from other countries, beyond just the basic stamp.
Wishing you a stress-free 2012.
Response: Thank for all the nice wishes and I wish you the very same. Great adventures, nice and easy year filled with fun, love and laughter.
Comment: No, we do not really get snow this far south in Georgia. Some of the northern parts of the state, mostly the mountains, get some snow. And this year we are having a super mild "winter." A lot of things are blooming already that would not normally be blooming for a couple months yet! It's crazy. Thank you for the card!
Comment: This just arrived today and your drawing is lovely! It took me a surprising amount of concentration to complete this one; Did you have a similar experience? Some people are just more ambidextrous than others!... I may noodle around on my own and see what else I can produce! Thanks so much! <3 Ainslie
Response: I was surprised what my left hand can do! So far I thought it was useless as far as at goes :) Thanks for the nice rating
Comment: This is such a lovely card! I love springiness of it! Makes me want to just step right into the picture. I love spring too and am looking foward to it - although it is fall, we have been having quite a bit of spring temperatures lately - in the mid to upper 60's. Thanks for my pc.
Comment: TRAVEL!!! I love the PCs you chose for this swap and loved the way you did the letters on the back! Thanks so much. . . I love these types of swaps because they are always such fun! Happy swapping ~~
Response: Hey, you got it! It was a great swap too, though I am still missing two letters of my word! Best wishes
Comment: GREAT "space" card, aliens sticker, joke and postage stamp collection! Thanks SO much! (Even noticed the ROOTS ad on the billboard in the postcard... the co-founders who started up ROOTS are Michigan Staters & fellow Spartans!)
Comment: Look at this great card! I especially love how you fixed up the back, turning it into a collage with writing, creative stickers and AWESOME stamps! Wow! Sorry you didn't get to the exhibit! We have a Rembrandt exhibit at our museum now. I bet the Urban Forest one is great. Thanks for an awesome PC!! :)
Comment: Such a great little painting, thank you! I am going to add this to my postcard mural right now. As for mushrooms, I am a fan too. I sort of hated them for a little while but I retaught myself to like them again, especially Cremini.
Response: oh I am glad you liked it and also that it earned a spot on your pc mural :)
Comment: Oh, how lovely your swans are! I shot a similar photo at our City Park (with a black swan and a white one). I wasn't impressed with it. I'll have to convert it to BW and see if my impression changes! :-) Thanks for sharing
Response: swans are just the most graceful birds ever. glad you liked them
Comment: Awesome card, thanx a lot.. But I really don't know where to find an elk, and thus elk-meat. Here they only live in the zoo!! Think I can make it with beef as well, so I'll try it once. Thanx again..
Comment: The handmade postcard is beautiful that why I am rating you a 5 and a heart, because the postcard is truly gorgeous, though make sure you read all of the requirements on a swap. The envelope should have been decorated too. But like I said the postcard was so amazing I don't care that the envelope wasn't decorated, I'm only bringing up for future reference because someone might care and take issue.
Anyways, have a great day, happy swapping!
Comment: This is so cute! I just want to reach out and touch it. Thank you. You asked how do I find time to do all the things I wrote about in my profile? Usually when I'm working full-time I squeeze fun stuff in on my one or two days off a week, or on a holiday when business is closed (although that's rare cuz I usually work jobs where business goes on no matter what). :)
Comment: Hi! Thank you for the postcard. Canada's post box is so nice. Love the typography around it and thanks soooo much for the Will & Kate stamp too! Been wanting that stamp for a while :) Thanks again!
Comment: Hi, thank you for the card! I am doing fine here with my art classes and intend to work towards the student exhibition at year end. Thank you for the great Wills and Kate stamp too! It really made my day.
Comment: Superb postcards, they are better than I imagined! Thankyou very much Tunde, for sharing your favourite one with me and the old subway one is marvellous too. I do like them all very much and the postage stamp too :)
Response: I thought you might like the old subway! :)
Comment: Thank you for a great shot of the Royal Ontario Museum!
P.S. I just realized that the ROM card was not a part of this swap. Thank you for an extra card!!!
Also thank you so much for an Edward Hopper art card with an awesome girl stamp! :)
Comment: There is nothing about this card I don't love. It was my birthday a week ago so I appreciated the sentiment. Also the lizard was funny, and the image of the guy from the infomercials. AND a stamp with Prince William. Thanks!!
Response: Hey special card for a special occasion! Glad you liked it and hopefully your bday was great!
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard and the stamps - I like the back even more than the front!
Things in Ithaca are good - I love summer here. It's a college town so the pace of life slows down a lot!
Comment: such a pretty & striking photo! thanks so much! well, everett i just ok...some art but a bit too overcrowded/suburban for me...love being close to the beach, mountains & downtown Seattle though! Happy swapping! :)
Comment: Nice work! I like the color palette you chose and all of the details. Thank you for stretching as an artist I'd love to do a private trade with you some time! (I was one of your partners for the weird post card trade too!)
Response: sure, let me know what tickles your toes and we can swap privately (handmade or otherwise)
Comment: My goodness, I loved your card! The stamp was just fantastic as it was art too! tbh, I actually liked the stamp more than the card. Hehe. But thank you also for the bit of Cavallini. A heart and a 5 for you!:-)
Comment: Hi Tünde! Thanks so much for the B&W PC of a couple kissing in their car, & for joining my swap. I like the girl kissing the air on the message side of the card. Is that a colored doddle you did? Or a rubber stamp? It's marvelous either way. I like remembering first kisses, thanks for sharing your memory. Take care 'til we swap again. ;)
Response: SO glad you liked it! The picture on the back is a rubber stamp and yeah it is nice to remember first innocent kisses...
