Comment: Thank you for the informative reviews. This is one of the few times I've read some of the books as my partner, which gives me more confidence to try the others you've read. (My youngest son and I enjoyed "Auggie and Me" as a bedtime read-aloud in 2016. You and your daughter might find it interesting.)
Comment: Yay! It's so fun getting presents! The animals wrapping paper is uber cute! And these are going right under my white tree until Christmas!
Edit December 25: Yay! Sepia pens! I don't know why I love the idea of these so much, but I can't wait to use them!! I haven't tried the brush pens before either, so I'm looking forawrd to giving that one a try. And I'm so excited about the Dylusions paints! The colors are awesome!!! I've never used them before, and now that it's quiet I'm going to go peruse YouTube for some ideas! :) Thank you so much!! :)
Response: I can't wait for you to open them! Merry Christmas! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: LISA!! So happy to hear from you! I hope you and Sienna are well. Zora is flourishing, learning something new or making and making new silly faces all the time. I'm just getting back to Maine after working an extended season but if you're up for a private swap, I'm game. I've collected a few goodies for you here and there! I hope you're enjoying the Christmas season. Thank you for what I'm sure is an awesome present!! Hugs!!
Response: YAY ERIN!! I can't wait for you to open your goodies! Me and Sienna will surely miss being spoiled by you this year! I'm always up for a private swap!! Zora sounds adorable!! Merry Christmas!! oxox
Comment: Love your pc, Lisa! You did a great job with your Copics! Love the deer and the muchrooms! And you must have used super -super glue because everything stayed in place! Thank you for such a sweet swap!

Comment: Lisa my dear thank you so very much for the Flying Monkeys!, yes I can see them...thank you for such a great PC and for sending it in an envelope. I put your pc in my craft room cork board, I can see it every time I walk in :)
Have a wonderful Christmas Season!
Response: Yay! So happy this one made it! Thanks for the heart. Merry Christmas!
Comment: OMG OMG OMG not only did you make this package absolutely GORGEOUS but you filled it with Edward Gorey goodies! I feel like it's my birthday and Christmas all in one! Thank you so, so much! I love it...just over the moon!
Response: YAY! So happy you enjoyed everything! You are so very welcome!! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you! What a cute decorated envelope! I'm so excited about these swaps:) I have a white Christmas tree that I'm collecting all the envelopes on until December. What fun! Update Dec 3 - the stickers are so cute! All my favorite animals :) thank you!
Response: You're welcome! I hope you enjoy the inside just as much! :-) Thanks for the heart!
Comment: This was quite possibly one of my favorite swaps to receive ever! The envelope was gorgeous! And that shaker card is so awesome. Then the flipbook with the letter and goodies!!! Amazing. Thank you so much :)
Response: Wooohooo! What a compliment! So glad you love it and that it made it to you in one piece!! (I cringed when the postal clerk put that big whopping postage on my envie!) Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you! The white pc card does looks like a very involved process...and I love the little green tinge and few sparkles from the tissue. This is a favorite and inspires me to get out the paste again. Smiles!
Response: So happy you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for the heart! The pc was fun to do and I'm glad I challenged myself!
Comment: 🖤 🕷️ 🎃 🕷️ 🖤
I love it! I sent my partner a spider as well. Too funny! Thank you for such an awesome postcard! Very well done and I'm impressed that you stamped it and then cut around including the frame, very thought out. The background and spider/spider web "sequins" are both really creative touches. Thank you again!
Response: You are welcome! So happy you enjoyed it and that it made it to you intact! I hadn't planned on cutting around the spider and making a frame! It just worked out that way! I lucked out! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the letter. I'll be writing back shortly. PS. I love the Silverball Museum. I live about 5 minutes from it and had my 30th birthday there like the giant child I am inside. Pinball and booze.. I mean.. how could you not? lol.
Response: Yay! Looking forward to it! And man, if I lived 5 minutes away from Silverball, I would GO ALL THE TIME!! And hell, yeah have my birthday there!! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the funny snake charmer you created. The herpetologist I worked with in India was recently here in Florida with a couple of aboriginal tribals & I got to go wit them on a hunt for the pythons that are breeding in the Everglades.
Response: Wow! That sounds very exciting! I'm glad you enjoyed my card. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: hi! thank you so much for your lovely swap. I can only say you have a lot of patience to write such a long letter about the books you have read, and twice! you have my admiration.thank you for the nice reading list :D oh,and I love what you did with the envelope.
Response: Heh heh, I learned my lesson and typed the 2nd letter! :-) Glad you enjoyed my letter and my envelope! Thank you for the heart
Comment: Thank you for the lovely letter and the awesome envelope! I too love decorating envelopes but I have never tried painting it like you did ! Boy do I envy your stamps!! Anyways I will be writing aback soon!!
Response: Great! Looking forward to your response! So happy you enjoyed everything. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: We've practically become pen-pals! Thank you for the wild purple ostriches (ostrichi?) though I must say, they never looked too huggable to me. I did a newspaper story on an ostrich farm once & they chased me all around the field!
Response: HAHA Yes! I'm glad you're not tired of my postcards! Glad you enjoyed the ostriches/ostichi. They don't look very huggable, that's why I had to pair the sentiment with them! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Hi Lisa! Loved your sweet note and hearing about your daughter--it made me misty for the time when my kids were young. Thanks for the cute 'Summer' notecard--did you draw this? and all the cute little bits and bobs.
Response: You are so welcome! It's a rubber stamp! I wish I can draw so well! I know I will be in your shoes (misty for when my daughter was young) very soon, in fact, I do get like that now even though she's just 10! :-) Happy summer!
Comment: I love the postcard you made, thank you so much! You did a great job on the blue box also and I love the gradation of colors and the letter stamps. Stamping the stamps was very clever and the snail mail stamp!
Response: You are very welcome! So happy you loved it as much as I did. It came out just as I was picturing it in my head and that does not happen very often! Thank you for the heart!
I love your background papers! I have plans for two of them already and I just opened them 30 minutes ago!! I had fun with this swap too. I did a few on a shiny silver paper just to "test" and they came out cool too! Thanks for joining! xo
Response: Yay! So glad you love them! Thanks for hosting such a fun swap!! (And thanks for the squished penny! My daughter ran off with it as soon as I opened the envelope! Hrmph!)
Comment: Your card came yesterday and we were so busy! I love all the possibilities for rainbow art...seems they go with almost everything...Love the bright colors the sentiment and the swinging girl so much! Thanks for the very good reminder! We have had some surprisingly hot days as well... nothing like your summer days, but whew!
Response: Yay! So happy you enjoy the pc! Thanks so much for the rating and heart. Yes, those hot days are creative energy zappers! They say it's gonna be extra hot this year. Oh yay (not the sarcasm!)
Comment: Wow, this swap was definately worth the wait. I love the mailart on the envie, your letter and all the extra's!!! The envie was a little torn when it arrived so I am not sure everything made it to my house (I read something about washi) but there still was so much inside! Love it, Thank you! Have a great weekend! Groetjes Barbara
Response: Yay! I'm so happy you loved it and that it arrived safely! I have a photo of what was sent inside if you want me to send it to you so you can see if everything made it. I didn't send any washi, just stickers. Thank you for the heart and not rating me down for confusing the swap!!
Comment: Hi Lisa. Your enveloppe arrived today :). I love love love it!!! So creative!! And how nice to have so much in common! I really loved the envie!!! As welk as the goodies ;). Hope jou have a lovely day :).
Response: You're so very welcome! So glad you enjoyed everything! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: First, I adored your envelope. The stamps you used were perfect!
Yes, it's a very character-driven book rather than the standard telling of Robin Hood. I'm a big fan of "reworked" fairy tales and other classic stories. I'm glad you joined us to step outside of your comfort zone :-).
Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the envie! Thank you for the heart. I'm happy that I gave the book a try.
Comment: Great variety of such well made envelopes ...including the clever envelope you sent them in... I will be using all except for the gesso-ed one ... I want to look at it for a while.., really nice! Thanks so much
Response: LOL! I hope you use the gesso'd one eventually! Just so you know, the postal clerk totally rearranged the envelope! Took my return address from the back and taped it to the front covering part of the writing! ARGH! But glad it made it to you safely! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: I did go to the Great American Stamp Store several times. I used to go there with one of my friends who likes to scrapbook. There was one lady there who worked there who was always rude to me, but super-way-overly-nice to my friend. It became sort of a joke. :-)
A Michael's opened up down the road, and I think that led to their demise.
Response: How very odd about that!! I'm glad that you are able to laugh about it! LOL. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Wowza! Thank you! LOVE the sticker sheet with the dogs (how great that quite a few are rare breeds) and your envie and the PCs and, not to be forgotten, your very nice note. Yep, whenever I go to a show where standing is necessary (like the Fillmore), I'm beat less than half way through :/ Take care, Lisa!
Response: So glad you enjoyed everything! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard! I'm glad you enjoyed the process. I had fun with mine too - I used my super special library themed paper. I recognize some Graphic 45 on your card! Gorgeous!
Response: Yes! I spied yours on your IG and loved it! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: I've never had great results with salt (on paper) either -- but once with dying a silk scarf. If I had to do it over, I'd have it be a salt-optional swap and add another link. (The intention was try a different technique even though I didn't say it in the description.)
Response: I'm glad I'm not the only one. I keep saying that next time I will make sure there is more water! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: LOVED the envelope! 💕 That in itself made me smile! Enjoyed your letter 😊 We are also big Harry Potter fans! When the first movie was getting ready to come out my youngest son who was around 9-10 at the time wanted to go with his sisters and I ... my oldest said you know the rule - if a movie is a book you have to read it before you see it ( that has been a 'loose' rule of mine) well he read the first three books in about a week or so and was ready to go see the movie with us 😊
Response: LOL yes! That was Sienna as well with the first 2 books! Since we get from the library, we had to wait for #3 but that was read quickly and now she's on #4 now. So glad you enjoyed the envelope and letter! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for this sweet letter. You asked a lot of questions, so I want to write back and respond to all of them. (I'm currently a little behind in my swaps due to an unexpected delay, so I'm getting caught up and I will respond soon!)
Response: You are welcome! And no worries! My mailbox will always be here whenever you can respond!! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Yeeeeeees, Love it! Animals in people clothes, you rock! I'm going to need that llama stamp STAT and I've been eyeballing that adorable fox stamp for awhile now. So gorgeous, thoughtful and creative, thank you so much!
Response: YAY!! Thrilled that you love it!! You are welcome! Get all the stamps!
:-D Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the great letter, and I LOVED how you decorated the envelope! The water park sounded brilliant! In answer to your question, I went to the theatre for my birthday to see 'American Idiot' which was the best thing ever (I love Green Day). And you can totally ask questions in a SOC!
Response: Yay! So glad you enjoyed the envelope and my letter! Thanks so much for the heart and rating! Glad you enjoyed your big day!
Comment: hello & thanks for the lusciously enveloped letter ~ i'm so excited having a few more penpals this year
... the letter-writing habit has served me well all winter season > swap-bot is such a pleasurable
'virtual' community: so glad you're part of it! i'll reply at my next leisure moment - yes, nice
not having a deadline, but it sure was a fun little 'obligation' last month!
Response: I absolutely agree!! Thanks for the rating and see you in the mail whenever you can!
Comment: As the great Bob Ross said "We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents." This would have been a cute card, but now it is an amazing card. It's one of the strangest and most wonderful things I've received. Keep on making those happy accidents. Also, I'm super jealous of your monkey stamp. They are one of my favorites from the books... and were totally misrepresented in the movie.
Response: Whew! So happy you enjoyed the postcard so much!! Thank you for the encouragement! I really try to keep my mind open as there are many times things don't come out they way I imagined! Bob Ross was magical. The monkey stamp is great! The stamp is from http://www.carmensveranda.com/ Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Lisa - thanks for the postcard of the statue of liberty! I actually saw it once from the ferry back in 2012 when I was in New York for a few days. I love the idea of a coloring postcard :) I'll have to see if I find any from Berlin!
Response: I thought they were cool too! They must have other cities too! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Hi Lisa :-) I love your postcard! What a wonderful photo of a sweet old woman you found which make it SO shocking to read what comes out of her mouth! LOL. I'm 67 and I feel like saying that sometimes Hahahahah! I love inspirational quotes sometimes too, but sometimes I don't!
Response: Whew! So glad you weren't offended! I love how the card turned out and so happy you like it! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Almost everyday a letter; it's awesome, thank you. I like the postcard and such a nice technique. I wonder what you used;)
Response: You are so welcome! I usually take a photo of everything I send out but for some reason, a few slipped by, including what I sent you! So I don't remember what I sent you! But I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the great funny postcard 😋 It was still legible. I'm not sure what might work best to write on it. Maybe a Sharpie pen? Anyways, thanks for the bawdiness, Nathan
Response: I love using the uni posca markers for those backgrounds but didn't have a thin enough one to write a whole poem. Perhaps I need to remedy that! :-) Glad you enjoyed the pc! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the cool postcard, Lisa, I love how it's celestial and at the same time an homage to feminine energy! Please never apologize for any art you send out...it's not like you are going to send something horrible to anyone and we all know that Life is an interrupting and important unavoidable Thang! New puppies more than qualify as Life Thangs, and I hope you're having a ton of fun with your new little love..!
Response: You are so right Carroll!! Thank you! And thanks for the heart!
Comment: Okay, I haven't listened to all of the songs on your lists yet, but I'm rating now anyway because I LOVE that you sent a ton of songs and I've only ever heard three of them. I was sort of afraid that I overdid it with the amount I sent. I get really excited about music and had trouble narrowing down my lists! I can't wait to listen to the rest! Thank you so much for swapping with me. I'll let you know what I think.
Response: Yay! I'm so glad! I was afraid you wouldn't find anything new. I hope you discover some favorites!! And are you kidding?! I'm still thinking about songs that I should have put on the list! LOL
Comment: Thank you, Lisa, for the cute Christmas card. It is well made and if you made it, nice job! I love how you buffed the subtle blue color around the edges of the card. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year! :)
Response: You're welcome! I did make it! So glad you enjoy it! Thank you for the heart! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Both of the ornaments you sent to me are beautiful. I think my favorite is the star, the one you weren't happy with. But I like the star too. Lucky me to be your partner. Thank you for making these just for me. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
Response: Yay! So happy about that! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you Lisa for the beautiful Christmas card, you Christmas mail art envelope, and you made specially for me a handmade Christmas sparkle tree card for the swap. I have put this card up now on display in my apt as I want my visitors to see your creative card. Happy Thanksgiving!
Response: You are so welcome! I'm so happy you like them and honored that it is on display! Thanks for rating and the heart!
Comment: Loved receiving your envelope! The gesso underneath is very effective ( I should remember to do that more often!) and the monsters stood out so well on their white spots. The werewolf makes me think of Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London. All the goodies inside were an awesome addition...Thanks for the whole wonderful package!
Response: Yes! Gesso and then gelatos on top make it blend so nicely! So glad you love it! Now I have that song in my head! HA! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: The glow-in-the-dark ghosts in this card rocked my world! Perfection! Thank you! :)
Response: Yay! You're welcome! Glad you liked the ghosts! I don't remember if I wrote on the card that the embossed images are supposed to glow in the dark too but that powder is kinda old! Thanks for the great rating and heart!
Comment: Hi Lisa...I received your Pink and Brown PC today. I think it is just beautiful, you did a great job of it! I love it. (I'm a Pinterest freak myself LOL) Thank you so much for your artwork, cheers! 😊❤️
Response: You're so welcome! I'm so glad you love it!! Thank goodness for Pinterest! LOL! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Is that a stamp of a werewolf? Either way, that is a great image but you are freaking amazing if you own a stamp of a werewolf! A little sad he doesn't glow in the dark like Frankie. Totally kidding. He is awesome! I love the little bit of sparkle around the moon and the shooting star is a nice touch. Thanks
Response: But of course I have a stamp of a werewolf!! ;-p So happy he made it there ok! I figured that Frankie might be jealousy if Wolfie glowed too! Wouldn't want there to be any fighting between them. HA! Thank you for the heart!!
Comment: Wow. THANK YOU so much for the wonderful handmade card, the comic book, and collage fodder. You went above and beyond and I really do appreciate it since my real birthday is usually depressing.
Response: You are so welcome!! I'm glad it made your day! Thanks for rating and the heart!
Comment: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, this book is great!!
I am in awe of it. It is so cherry and fun. I love the pocket in the front and the goodies that you tucked in : ).. It gives me so many ideas for the next round too!! Thanks a bunch for sending a quality swap.
Response: Oooh! I'm thrilled that you like it so much! You are so welcome!! And my goodness, you made me feel so great!! Thank YOU for that! I feel confident to go for the next round!!
Comment: Lisa thank you so much for this incredible postcard. I can tell you had a lot of fun making it, and it shines with the invested time and love of crafting. This is the sort of mail art I enjoy receiving the most.
Response: You are so welcome! I was really proud of that one and so happy you love it! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for your very nice letter. I also appreciate your log. Gosh, it was on a nice organizational paper. I just write mine in on my calendar. You're ahead of me. Since this "challenge" I have fallen to the side of writing only a few days each week. I am really looking forward to pushing myself to do a letter a day---so until next April (write on challenge month)--may you find new pen pals and keep in touch with the old. May blessings! Have a great weekend.
Comment: The postcard you made took quite a beating on its journey. When I opened my mailbox there was a moon man in one corner and the postcard with the rest of my mail in the other. It is a cute design though and so different than what I did with the kit. Thank you!
Response: What a total bummer!! Well, I posted the pc in the forum if you want to see the whole thing as it's supposed to be! Thanks for rating and for giving me a heart!!
Comment: Hi there, your fantastic mail art envelope and art stickers arrived yesterday - with a postmark of April 16th! Who knows where in the world your swap has been since then? I like the stickers very much, and the light printing on the background adds to the depth of the images. Thanks for a great swap.
Response: Wow! It took the scenic route! I'm happy you like the stickers and hope it was worth the wait! :-) Thanks for rating and the heart!
Comment: thanks for the candid letter. omg, yes...people who talk through performances are so annoying, it drives me insane. My husband "pre-soothes" me, i.e., reminds me not to be a raving lunatic if people around me are loud.
Response: HA! That's probably for the better! Thanks for rating and the heart!
Comment: I have to ask...where in Brooklyn? Greenpoint native from before it was trendy and cool :) Anyway...so I read your profile to see if I could figure out your lie...This is what I deducted...You said you have several bands you love, so I think that maybe you have followed bands on tour. You also said you love bridges, so you're not afraid of heights, so I think you're telling the truth about the roller coasters. Which leaves you being an avid swimmer and almost making the olympic team, which I am going to say is the lie. And if I'm wrong about that, that's an awesome accomplishment!
Response: WHOA! You are good Susan!! You picked the right one. I tried to put things that aren't mentioned in my profile and you proved to be a very clever sleuth! Well done!! I live in Sheepshead Bay but grew up in Bay Ridge. Yes, Greenpoint is tres trendy and hip and has gotten very expensive!
Comment: Thanks for the cool stickers, Lisa! I especially like how you double stamped them in that cool offset kinda way, very effective...My faves are the glasses one and the quieter you are one! This was a fun swap an I will ejoy using all the stamps that came to me!
Response: Yay! So happy you like them! Yes, this was a very fun swap and I'm trying to make myself use the stickers I received instead of hoarding them! LOL! Thanks for rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the great letter---loved your envelope. Life in the Big Apple sounds exciting. Making detergent and fabric softener is easy. Tomorrow is our big 4H meeting where we will build a fire, cook outside, water purification, dig a cat hole, wash dishes ---with an 80% chance of rain! It will be interesting. Enjoy your weekend. Thank you for your letter...very nice stationery :)
Response: You are welcome! I hope the 4H meeting worked out! Thanks for the rating!
Comment: Cheers! It finally came! I am glad we waited. I absolutely love it! Thanks so much for doing something so special for me, and go ahead and give Chinese Brush Painting a try. The idea behind it is more about expressing emotion in the art rather than the details. Happy Swapping and all the best to you, Caly
Response: Yay! I'm thrilled it finally arrived! Took the scenic route! I'm so happy you love it. Thank you for rating and the heart. I will break open that Chinese Brush painting kit! Thank you!
Comment: Your card arrived today and put a big smile on my face 😀😄💌 . I loved how you've made it ! The colouring, stamped image, scallop edge and the writing inside , everything was so beautiful ! :) thank you also for the butterfly die cut and washi tape samples 💌💕💕 . Hope you receive mine soon :)
Response: You are so welcome! So happy that you loved everything! Thanks for suggesting the swap and for the heart!
Comment: Oh my my my! You really out did yourself on this one! I have always wanted to try resin and never had the nerve. Now I am super excited to give it a shot! Thank you soooo much! A million hearts if I could!!!!!
Response: Oh yay!! Here's your chance girl!! It is a lot of fun and once you start, you will be addicted. Break that seal and use it!! Thanks for the heart girl!
Comment: Hi Lisa. I like how your circles turned out esp the silvery bits, and like the circles on the back. I am a cancer too married to a Man. City fan =o) Thanks.
Response: I'm happy you like it!! So we have a lot in common! :-) I made the mistake of almost buying him a Man U hat for Christmas. My daughter caught me, thank goodness! There would have been hell to pay! Thanks for rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful postcard, Lisa! I think the colors look great mushed together, and I can definitely see the texture from the cling wrap :) I love the quote you chose, too. The glitter adds the perfect bit of shimmer, and the mail art stamp on the back of the PC is fab! I collect mail related rubber stamps and had not seen that one before. Happy swapping!
Response: You are so very welcome! So glad you love it! It really was fun to do! That rubber stamp you mentioned is old! From the 90s and I believe the company is Leavenworth Jackson. Not sure if she is still selling but worth a check!
Comment: Hi Lisa!! I was SO excited to get your huge box of goodies today!! YAY!!! I'm so glad you decided to do the swap despite your moving! Never worry about the wrapping girl! Sheesh! And you made everything look so festive and fun. Love the doilies on the top! I didn't open anything, didn't even dig deep so that I wouldn't be tempted! lol I will save it for Christmas. I so hope you enjoy your goodies too--I think you may have out done me this year!! I look forward to chatting with you after we open everything up. Big Hugs and wishes for an awesome Christmas to you, Sienna and your Hubby. xoxo
Response: Woohooo!!!! It's always a thrill to swap with you Erin!! Have a wonderful, terrific and fantastic New Year full of craftiness and swapping! oxox
Comment: I LOVE my Rudolph ornament! Anything crocheted it always a hit with me. I'm so glad you still treasure WW. Oh, and I also love the little wreath that you used to wrap the ornament with. That's going on my tree as well. Thank you so much for a wonderful swap! Have a great Holiday!
Response: Yay!! I'm so happy! You are so welcome and thank you for the heart! Have a wonderful holiday!
Comment: Hello Lisa!! :) Thank you so much for the gifts!! I have put them away in my Christmas bag and am HOPING to be able to wait!! But, my mermaid curiosity may get the best of me!! :) Merry Christmas!!!
Response: You're welcome! Thanks for rating and the heart! OPEN it!! I was in the same situation, wasn't going to open what I received but my partner 'twisted my arm' lol. Enjoy!
Comment: Thank you for the resent postcard. The first one didn't make the journey:( But I like the spooky skull:))
Response: Wow! That was fast! Well, if the original ever shows up, I'd love to know! I posted the pc on my IG, if you are interested in seeing it! https://instagram.com/p/9G0ilkjtkh/?taken-by=luluvision
Comment: I think we're on the same page with The Smiths/Morrisey but my all time favorite band to this day is The Cure. Some of the others are Siouxsie and the Banshees, They Might Be Giants, INXS, etc... I really love the letter and the pen you used is way better than mine. Mine is not as fine and kind of glopy (if thats a word). Thank you so much it was so nice to hear from you!
Response: YAY! You have great taste in music! :-) I think to key to a good white pen is to keep using them! I kept hording my white pens and then when I finally decide to use them, they were crap! Bought new ones and making myself use them regularly and so far, so good!
Comment: LOVE your 'nyah nyah nya-nyaah nyaah' raspberry girl, Lisa! Thank you so much for giving me a good laugh in the midst of some trying times. She reminds me of some of my old & beloved Ken Brown rubber stamp images. What did you use to make the dimensional arrows?
Response: You are so welcome! So glad you liked her! Ahhh, Ken Brown had some awesome stamps! I still have a couple. The arrows were a die and I used glittered paper for them and then because the glue I used was still sticky when it seeped out from the bottom, I used Diamond Glaze to cover it. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Love the card you made! The colors are beautiful, and the quote is so inspirational. I love that you've been to Eureka and seen it's beauty. I'm lucky to live here and I'm lucky you were one of my partners for this swap! Thanks for the lovely envelope, too.
Response: You are so welcome! So happy you like what I sent. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Loved your Peace post card, I love quotes, and I love to imagine peace for all! Thanks for being in this swap, peace out.
Lisa: the card I was describing was from our coordinator, Skydancer! That will teach me not to jump to conclusions - lol...your card is beautiful! Love the peace stencil and the colors you used. What a great quote, and your writing is perfect for it - this is going on my super special fabulous swaps shelf. Thank you so much, wish I could give you more hearts.
Response: LOL! Glad you liked my pc. I actually sketched out the peace symbol and used masking fluid to cover it while I made the background. First time trying that! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: i wish i could give you more than one heart! stamped images are my favorite thing to receive and the envelope is amazing, we marveled over it and tried to figure out what you used for each part, i thought it was store bought for a second there lol it's perfect! can't wait to work on your scribble, i'll let you know when i'm sending it back
Response: You are so welcome! Thank you for such compliments. Those flower stamps on the back of the envelope drove me crazy so I thought instead of trying to line them all up, I'll just make them all crazy all over! LOL. So glad you liked everything!
Comment: Thank you so much, Lisa, for the cute stickers and the gorgeous Halloween envelope you decorated! I like it all so much! It's funny you sent fox stickers - my neighbor told me last night that a fox had been decimating chickens. We have had one go missing (rarely) here and there too. Despite that, I hope she doesn't shoot him. I like foxes...and we have dogs that keep them away, most of the time.
Response: Oh! I hate the thought of the fox doing that to the chickens! I hope she doesn't shoot him either. Thanks for the rating! I'm glad you enjoyed everything!
Comment: Thanks for the 3 lovely bookmarks. I especially like the one with the books on it. (Was that done with a stamp or did you draw them?) I really like how you decorated the envie too---it really brightened up my mailbox. :-)
Response: You are very welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed everything! The books is a stamp. Still working on my drawing skills! lol Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Oh MY word Lisa!
I just got your awesome package today, and i could believe my eyes, your NY fabric thingy is awesome, at first I thought were a mug cozy, how you use it? I love it! you really made my day with that water color notebook!! i was needing one so bad so is fine if you didn't send something as gift per say, all was a gift! I would rate you with at least 3 more hearts! here you go: <3 <3 <3
Response: You're welcome! I'm so happy you like everything! Thank you for the rating and heart! The fabric bookmark is easy to use! :-) The pocket is for a pen, pencil or marker. You just wrap the elastic around your book/journal and fasten it on the button. If the elastic is too long, just put a knot in it to shorten it. Hope you enjoyed the bought gifts as well! :-)
Comment: Oh my goodness what a wonderful swap!! I love the pencil pouch (who doesn't need one) - the colors are fantastic! Also love the pencil/pen/bookmark - perfect!
Thank so much for reading my profile and creating something so perfect for me!
Response: You're very welcome! So happy you love everything! I'm all about being practical! :-) Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: Thanks for the great and unusual postcard! I have never seen burlap used like this! It reminded me exactly of material used for casts! Alaska is a wonderful and fascinating place to visit and to live. A couple days ago, I saw a bear on the runway and a friend told me, the same day, that he had seen one across the street from me, just hanging out. On the trip into Kodiak, I saw around 50 mountain goats on the mountain north of Zachar Bay. Of course all the animals have babies they are feeling and training up too. Hope you can come and see for yourself one day! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: You are very welcome! Thanks for the rating and the heart. So fascinated by what you described! I would love to come visit someday!
Comment: Zowee Batman! Love it when I find another rubber stamp addict. Definitely plan to write you back to discuss some of these old companies. All Night Media, wow, that's a blast from the past. I still own some of those. And Stampa Barbara and Circustamps. Do you remember Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers?
Response: Yay! Look forward to your response! And YES! I LOVE Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers!! I have a few of their stamps and also Museum of Modern Rubber was another great one!

Response: So happy you loved it! I really had a lot of fun with it! I don't remember where the twister stamp is from! :-( It's an unmounted stamp I put on cling so I don't have the name. I will try to do some sleuthing to find out!

The shiny paint is from a paint pen!

As long as they don't mind the terrible wrapping! Thank you for the heart! Now I can go follow your instagram! :-)
Comment: OH MY GOODNESS THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. Lol I absolutely adored the mail art and the letter. Where did you find the awesome Batman and Superman stamps? I need them! I've only read a few of the Batman comics myself, but do enjoy watching the movies and playing the video games. My boyfriend and I just started watching Gotham on TV as well. We can't say if we like it or not yet but I like how they focus on other characters besides Batman and The Joker. Well, sorry that I'm rambling but your mail just got me so excited haha! Thanks again!
Response: Yay! You're welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed the mail art and letter! Thank you for the heart! I carved the Batman (and Wonder Woman) logos and someone carved me the Superman one. Google carving rubber stamps and see if it's something you might want to try! Batman is a relatively easy one.

Comment: I just love the necklace and pendants so much! The blue washer is so pretty. What paints did you use on it? And the other pendant has my favorite combo of copper and turquoise so it will be fun to use. I will probably make a bead necklace with copper and turquoise to hang it on.
Response: So glad you love everything and have found a use for the pendant! I mentioned about the paints in a message. Let me know if you have trouble finding it! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: This was an AWESOME package! I really appreciate it! It was clear you put time and thought into it, and really read my profile! Thanks a million! I tried to wait and open each piece on the correct day but they were all wrapped so adorably it was hard to resist. In the end my inner child won out and I opened them before 'Christmas' :)

Comment: LISA!!!!! I love swapping with you. The Jamaica bag is AWESOME!! My husband who usually isn't interested in my swapping activity (as it means more clutter and hours of shopping :o)) said "that girl has style." Of course he is a bit bias being from Jamaica! LOL But I completely agree!! You do have style, not to mention how generous you are. I loved all the peacock and butterfly goodies. I can't wait to make earrings with the peacock charms and I'm thinking of using one as a center for a wind chime!! Percolating!! Just a big fat thank you!! I have been saving stuff for you too. I hope we will be on for our Christmas Swap again this year. Wishing you a fabtabulous summa!!!

Response: I'm so relieved! Thank YOU for setting up the swap with me!
Comment: I loved the pen holder you sent. It fits perfectly on one of my smash journals! Also... THAT chocolate is AMAZING. I normally eat a pretty intense 72% dark chocolate. But the one you sent makes my eyes roll in the back of my head. LOL. I've seen it at the grocery store tons of times but have never tried it. The center is dark... but so melty and creamy. Truly a lovely surprise. Thank you.
Response: Yes, that chocolate is heavenly, isn't it?! So glad you like it and the pen holder! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: I love all of the Monster high stuff! You hand made magnets? I already put them up! They are around my labtop(not on it) but there is some metal backing around my desk so i put'em there. I've never heard of this candy either soooo thank you <33333

Response: I'm so glad you love it! Isn't the paper great?! You're talking about the glossy one, right? It's from Die Cuts With a View. I didn't need any paper but when I saw that one, I had to have it, you know, for this swap! :-)
Comment: Thankyou Lisa for the nice note I enjoyed reading it, we have had a bit of snow here, on Dartmoor there has been alot of snow. Thankyou for the lovely handmade card and I love the envie, have a nice day Lisa, love jennifer.
Response: You're welcome! So glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the heart! Now it's our turn to get some snow, about 6-12 inches!
Comment: Hi Lisa! I received your hand made card for this Mega swap as #19..and yours was the closest to mine of all and I am soooo happy!
starting with the envi...LOVE the "please check one: naughty or nice boxes "hand stamped"..the beautiful Christmas stamp , the "bubble letters you again "hand drew" FAT , outlined and filled in!! APPRECIATE soooo much your attention to detail!! ....turing it over..MORE goodness..with the many stamp strands of ornaments "hanging" along with the one looking like they mirror at bottom! AGAIN..ADDING color and GLITTER!
Opening the card..what a great treat!! LOVE the cutout tree, my favorite color ..TEAL stained for background to make the MOST perfect beautiful shade!! and the silver "raised" layers of "SNOW" or tinsle (could be either!) with just using "red" for ornaments..LOTS..AMAZING! (THE MORE THE MERRIER!!!) and the little gold star!
My next favorite was and the use of the perfect size tag..having it "float" on top and the use of MY favorite twine..in matching candycane color!! GROOVY GIRL!!!!!!! TOTALLY DUG IT!! Loved the sentiment inside the card too..and don't ever worry with me girl about adding TOO much lol...I'm with ya!! I APPRECIATE your talent and CARE! It is my favorite card of the year!
Response: Thank you so much!! That is the most detailed and amazing rating I ever received! Thank you for taking the time to write all that! I'm so glad you like it!! Merry Christmas!! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: o.k., so I have no will power, I had to open my gifts already! I ncan't thank you enough. That journal is awesome and I can't wait to start using it! Very cool earrings too. And of course, thank you for the extra sewing goodies.
Response: LOL, I totally understand! So glad you like everything! Would love to see any photos of your journal once you start using it!!
Comment: Oh my gosh! Thank you so much. The garland you sent is just gorgeous. I put it immediately on my tree! I love it. Thank you so much. Thanks too for the extra little tickets. You're the best.
Response: I'm so happy you like it so much! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: I'm waiting to open them....thank you! I thoroughly enjoyed this swap. From my profile, you were spot-on in choosing little gifties...I love the fabrics- the pink totally works in that print, the charms, the chocolate, the frog eraser...EVERYTHING! Thank you!
Response: You have such will power! :-) Hope you enjoy! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Love it! The snacks will not last long, the sewing bits are much appreciated, and you clearly read my profile with the circus pendants! I also loved the handmade card with the witch - she is adorable. Great swap - thanks!
Comment: Lisa--how could I not be delighted with butterflies, skeleton keys, gears, and lacey circles? And I'll find plenty of uses for the little tags on cards, scrapbook pages, and ATCs. Thank you so much! Wish we had a way to give more than one heart! Thanks!
Response: You are very welcome! I'm so glad you like them all. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you! I wish I could cut vinyl as well as you! And although I don't have glasses myself, my family members do. Are they OK for plastic glasses, too? ETA: I bet your machine wouldn't have done anything on its own - it's just a tool... For example, I consider that I'm the one rating you, not my computer. :P
Response: Wow! You got my package fast! I'm glad you like the vinyl. It wasn't me that cut it, it's my machine! :-) The wipes are good for plastic glasses, computer screens, camera lenses...Thanks for the heart and I'm glad you liked everything.
Comment: Thanks! Loved what you sent, especially the bracelet! The fortune cookies are already about 1/3 gone — and that's just from eating the broken pieces! (No calories that way!) My grandson was over last weekend and took home an eye patch my husband had in his "toy" box. Heard he wore it to bed, so it's probably already trashed. His birthday is next week (he'll be 5), so I'll pass the pirate booty along to him. I'm sure he'll love it! Can't wait to use the rub-ons on some homemade cards. Can't ever have enough. And I'll probably try the clay mask over this long weekend. THANKS!!
Response: Yay! That makes me very happy! I'm so glad everything is being enjoyed. Thanks so much for the heart!
Comment: I can't begin to describe this awesome swap Lisa! Thank you so much everything - I loved it all from the pendant, decor, the candies (loved the iced tea ones!), and the wrapping. I would love to do a private swap with you. Thank you so much for joining and for the loveliness you sent me. (｡◕‿‿◕｡)

Response: You're so welcome! Glad you like everything!
Comment: Thanks for the awesome kit - top quality instruction leaflet/zine & materials. I've always wanted to try macrame, so this is perfect for me! I hadn't started to worry that I had not yet received this as it is only just over 3 weeks since marked sent - but there was a label on top of the customers label informing me that it had been 'Missent to Thailand' - how crazy/cool is that? And lucky that it was re-routed back to me so quickly, too! ;)
Response: That is crazy! I wonder how it wound up over there! I'm very glad it made it back to you! I did put a lot of work into it and I'm so glad you like it. Macramé is so much fun! I hope you enjoy it.
Comment: LISA! Hello! The wonderful lady who sent me the BEST jewelry pendants I own!! Girl, thank you so much for the rad stuff! I love it all! Did you handmake all of these? You are truely talented! I've been wanting to make wire wrapped rings for AGES,even have a tutorial I've never used. Thank you so much, this all rocks and the card is grade A adorable!! BTW, I ended up noticing that the pendants you made me look better with just a chain. They looked to girly with how I wanted to make them. When I get photos of me wearing them, I will share them with you!
Response: I'm so glad you like everything Jenny! Yes, I handmade everything (except the card, that was from another swapper!) Thank you so much for the compliment! I can't wait to see photos!! And you must try out your wire wrapped tute! It's so much fun!
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome swap! I had so much fun opening it all, and I loved the holidays you picked and how much care and attention you put into it! You are an amazing swapper and you totally deserve ALL THE HEARTS. (Words cannot accurately describe my reaction while I was opening your package. The millionaire kleenex cracked me up, and the noise I made when I found my awesome, awesome office ninja pin was in a frequency only dogs can hear. I'm torn between wearing it to work or referring to it as my precious, Lord of the Rings style.) Thank you!
Response: You are so very welcome! I'm so happy that you like everything! And thank you for recognizing the attention I put into it! Cheers all around! :-)
Comment: Hi Lisa, Thanks very much for the lovely asst of items in my 12 eggs. I loved everything and thanks for considering my profile. Can you believe I opened the egg with the ring in it first--I couldn't believe it. I really like the butterfly pendant and going to get it on a cord now to wear it! Did you make the glass owl? The ring is just my style in bronze!! Thanks for being such an awesome swapper!
Response: You are welcome! I'm so glad you like everything. I hope the ring fits! I did not make the glass owl, that's from an Etsy shop called Happy Cloud. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: zOMG! Thank you so much for such awesome, thoughtful gifts! I've already opened them, but plan to use them for the first time on their intended holidays [though I DID technically use the little purse/pouch already by putting everything else in it].
Response: Yay! So glad you like everything! It was fun putting it together for you. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Hello Lisa,
Thank you for the 3 unique and special Valentine cards you created for me. Each showed your creativity. These cards will be a great additon to my card collection until I can use the cards. Thank you again for GREAT cards.

Comment: What a cheery surprise in the mailbox today -- your lovely card. Even the envelope made me smile! Especially liked your cheery note -- lived many years in NY. Our groundhog had no trouble seeing his shadow, it was sunny. :)
Response: so glad you like it! So that means spring is coming sooner, right? :-)
Comment: What an awesome package! You make up for some of the other pkgs I've recd lately that were rather pathetic, I hate to say. I've been wanting to try some Ahmad tea, heard good comments about it. Thanks for the awesome stamp! Can I ink it? I'm not familiar with the material you used. I have it on my breadbox right now. Also, did you make the tea holder? It is such a clever idea! I'd give more hearts if I could! Thanks for considering my profile!
Response: so glad you like everything! Yes! You can ink it! I should have inked your wrapping paper so you can see. You can stick the stamp on an acrylic block or any kind of plastic container to help you stamp it. I did not make the tea holder but it is handmade by another awesome swapper! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: I am SO sorry that it's taken me this long to rate you. I feel like a horrible swapper. You sent the most delightful box and it got lost in the Christmas shuffle and I'm so sorry.
Once you reminded me I remembered opening it and just squealing with how fun it was!
Thanks again so very very much. Lets swap again soon!
Response: Are you kidding? You are an awesome swapper! So glad you like everything! I may have to go back to that store I bought your pen at! I want one for myself! LOL

Comment: I was so happy to get the beautiful handmade bracelets in the mail today, along with your thoughtful note. I just love both bradelets. I like the fact that they can be worn together or seperately and that there is a casual one as well as a fancy one. Your use of macrame has me walking down memory lane...when I was in first grade, my whole class learned macrame. At the time I thought it was easy and was annoyed with the other kids in the class for not being able to tie knots. Looking back, I can't imagine what the teacher went through with twenty-some six year olds making macrame owls! Oh, and the safety eyes? Can't get enough of 'em. Thanks for everything!
Response: I'm so glad you like the bracelets! I love making them! I never did macramé when I was younger so making up for it now! ;-) Thanks for the heart!

Response: You are welcome! I am so glad you like everything! And wow! You think I have excellent sewing skills? You are being too nice but thank you anyway! :-)
Comment: Your bat is just such a cutie! I really like the details on the wings and the glow in the dark bits!!! The extra hedgehog is adorable too :) Really nice stitching. Thanks for the lovely swap :)
Response: I'm so glad you like them both! I was questioning that bat! LOL. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for such a lovely heart ornament! I love the edging, the embroidery is so pretty and the flannel is lovely and soft. Thanks for the extra cross stitch heart too--such a lovely package ^_^
Response: You are welcome! I'm so glad you like everything! That flannel was a receiving blanket from when my daughter was a baby. It was barely used as she had so many!
Comment: Thank you so much for an awesome package! I adore the bag (in pink and green too :-) and will never use it for anything as mundane as groceries! I am still laughing over the chick-in-pants. Ha-Ha! Great swap thanks so much!
Response: I'm so glad you like everything! I forgot to mention, I wouldn't put anything too heavy in the bag! ;-) You are welcome!
Comment: Oh, Lisa, I'm so sorry! I managed to tell everyone how wonderful your package was- EXCEPT YOU! The spectacular, homemade, thoughtful items you sent to us will be treasured forever. Thank you so much! I really wish I could give you more than one heart.

Comment: Thank you so much for the fantastic swaps. All the gifts I've opened so far have been perfect for me. :)
As Christmas gets closer, and I open more gifts, I love it more and more. You did such a fantastic job! The bookmarks are great! And the CDs, amazing!
Response: I can't wait for you to open them either! The suspense is killing me! Look forward to finding out how you like everything!
Comment: Lisa, it is now after Christmas and everything is unwrapped!! Thank you so so so much for a wonderful Christmas! I LOVED the mermaids of course. You are an amazing artist and crafter, I was super lucky to get you as a partner. I hope you have a wonderful New Year!!
Response: You are very welcome! I can't wait for you to open the rest of them! I am actually a little disappointed that you can wait! LOL! I hope your move was smooth! Happy Holidays!
Comment: Thanks so much for all the effort you took in putting this together - I loved everything, and was especially thrilled with the pie plate holder - I wish I could make things like that!! I'm afraid I do have to ask about the "eat an apple day" one though - it's very cute, but what's it for?? Anyway - thank you and thank you again, I loved it!
Response: You're welcome! I'm so glad you like everything! The apple day one is an apple cozy! To protect your apple from bruises if you carry one in your bag!
Comment: As I open my gifts, here is what I am thinking:
ribbon - oh yummy
Christmas Ornaments - goody, I love to use felt.
Note cards - will save those for good, so elegant. There's a joke behind that. When my Mom got something nice, she would say she was going to save it for good. We always laughed.
Felt ornament - I didn't know what it was, had it upside down - oh a bird, that is really cool. You did a great job! It also has a very cool hanger
(in a little girls voice) Oh eyes and rick rack! Big smile!
(regular voice now) I love everything. Now that's what I call a present! Thank you. Oh yeah, I loved the wrapping, so much more elegant than Christmas Wrap.
Response: I'm so glad you like everything! Thanks for the play by play of the unwrapping. That was so nice to envision.
Comment: this is the coolest potholder ever - I am going to use it year round and claim, after Christmas, that it is actually a strawberry. The recipe folder is Mine, mine MINE and I shall not share it - I like it that much! The cookie cutters are also great. A lovely package on a rainy gloomy day. Hearts galore to you.
Response: Yay! I'm so glad you liked everything! The potholder was so fun to make. I plan to make more!
Enjoy everything! And you are welcome!
Comment: Thank you so much for the adorable Halloween ornaments!! They're so cute and I love the little dracula! You really went above and beyond with the felt goodies you created ... and you sent vintage photos, too ... I feel so very pampered. Thank you! You really made my day!! :D Have a Hauntingly Happy Halloween!!
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you liked everything! I really enjoyed making everything. Glad you liked the photos!
Comment: Wow! Got your package to me today! Love everything!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful stationery and stickers! You made me smile :) And I soooo am looking forward to checking out the Daily News!!! Thanks for a GREAT swap!!!!!

Comment: i was having a really bad day....until your parcel showed up in my mail :D! i love everything <3!!! thank you so much for taking into consideration the things i fancy. it was also very cute how you wrapped everything up with that cute ribbon & those neat skull charms!
Response: You're welcome! I'm so glad you liked it and that it made your day! Nothing like sweets to make you feel better!
Comment: Thank you! somehow you picked a movie that we all loved in the theater and had not added to our collection yet. AND you sent treats for the kids and ME. We are having a family night right now and watching it. I just took a break to give your rating and say thanks!
Response: Yay! You are welcome! I'm glad you like that movie. Mom's gotta have a snack too, right?!
Comment: Ok..where do I start...First thanks for sending Asian things...You read my profile-I appreciate that...I really love the pendant you made-nice work. The black mulberry paper is quite useful for me in my work with Hanji. The little red case fits my iphone perfectly! The extra pouch is so cute. Did you make it? The CDs are great and I adore the darling little case they came in. All in all a wonderful, thoughful package.
Response: You are so welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed everything! I did not make the extra pouch, I was going to but then I saw the flower pouch in my stash and thought it was perfect for you! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: oh wow :o i really love what you sent - every item is brilliant :p and you sent me a neopet - i love you for that :p thank you so much! also, we have pretty similar taste in music, so i'm going to love those cds! :) and for super-amazingness, this arrived on my birthday! :)
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything! And you got it fast! I made the cupcake amigurumi and the magnets...now I can't remember what else I sent you. LOL. Only 1 mix is mine, the others are from friends. Enjoy!! And Happy Birthday!
Comment: Thank you so much for all the things you made for me!!! I especially liked the daisy mitt!!!! soooo cute :) I love the picture and the journal too! and everything else. As soon as I opened it, every gift brought a smile to my face :) You made turning 30 so much better :P
Response: You're welcome! It was fun making all the stuff. I hope you had a great 30th birthday!!
Comment: I absolutely LOVE everything Lisa sent me! OMG! The Chicago Triptych she created is special because it shows the Hancock Tower, where my husband and I were when he decided to propose to me last year! The Mexican skull pouch is awesome, too, and yes, please explain exactly how I can use it for when I'm pushing the baby. And the fabric? VERY me.
Response: Yay! You are welcome! And who knew about the Hancock Tower! ;-)
for me, the zippered pouch helped me keep all my essentials (wallet, keys, CHAPSTICK!) together and separate from all the other crap I put in the diaper bag (which incidentally, I did not like any diaper bag I got-I ended up using an old backpack!) I tend to bring too much so instead of rummaging thru the diaper bag for my wallet when shopping, I had it on my wrist! Hope it helps you too!
Comment: Wow! What an awesome swap! Thanks so much for taking the time to read my profile and making all these WONDERFUL goodies that you knew I would love! I can't wait to use the stamp, and also the bowling 'bag'..I just have to figure out what I want to use it for! :) Thank you!!
Response: You are welcome! You got that fast! It was fun making the stuff for you. Enjoy!
Comment: The hard work you put into these paid off. I finally got the package after the postoffice had it on hold for several weeks. Never understand them. Glad you had a # and a photo of the items. thanks for everything I love it all.
Response: I'm glad you finally got it and that you liked everything! Enjoy!
Comment: Lisa - this is magnificant! The 2 stamps you carved for me are amazingly beautiful and I love them to bits :)) Anytime you want more chocolate just let me know :)) I give you a gazillion hearts. You are the queen of stamps :) Thank you so so much!!!
Response: oh yay! I'm so glad you liked the stamps Orit! They were really fun to do! You are very welcome for them. I'm definitely down for another private swap, maybe one of your colorful swaps! But perhaps in a couple of months, when some of my swaps are winding down!
Comment: WOW, I'm impressed with your package. You not only made the pouch with mermaid fabric but also a matching business card holder. I'm hiding both from my daughters until they do something really nice for me. Thanks so much!
Response: oh yay! I'm so glad you liked them! You are very welcomed!
Comment: OMG!!!!!! Where do I start, the most perfect package ever! I love mixed CD's. I only have a few because I can not make them. The Superman items are fantastic, my Knight I will cherish forever, LOVE,LOVE, LOVE him. The Godiva (after my own heart), the picture reminding me of my favorite city ever, the little box, you truely are a number one swapper. Hugs and 1000 Hearts!!! Mona
Response: Yay! I'm sooo glad you liked/loved everything! I had lots of fun working on all the stuff. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful book thong. It's so pretty and I appreciate that it was thread crocheted. Your journal with photos is just great. Not only did I get to see the nice work you do, your relaxed style of journaling made me feel like I know you!
Response: Thank you Susan! That is so kind of you. I never thought of my journaling as relaxed but then again I never really thought about it! HA!
and you are very welcome for the book thong, I hope you get some good use out of it. I should probably make one for myself!
Comment: Wow...I loved everything you sent...the recipes look great (thanks for looking at my profile!). One of the things I really liked was the fact that all the recipes you sent are 'dump-and-go' ...no messing around with browning things in a pan first or needing to hang around and add different ingredients every couple of hours (some crockpot recipes can be way more trouble than they are worth!). I'm going to get the stuff I need to try out the gyros recipe right away! Thanks!
Response: You are welcome! I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy them. I only do dump and go for the crock pot! Once a crock pot recipe says anything about browning or doing anything extra, I stop reading and don't even bother with it! What's the point then?! ;-)
Comment: Wow! Thank you so much! You got me so many things from my profile...I can tell you had fun in the scrapbooking store. And I love the handmade items as well...especially the stamp. I'm going to have fun with this unbirthday present.
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything! You got the package faster than they said! Hooray for the postal service! I enjoyed doing all the handmade stuff and of course, shopping for stuff to put in! Please let me know how the ink pads are!
Comment: Thanks so much for the wonderful tawashis!!! I love the ruffled one and the green one, too! And all the stickers are just beautiful!!! Thanks so much for such a wonderful swap!!! I'd give you 10 hearts if I could!!!
Response: I am so glad you like them! They were fun to make! Especially the ruffle one!
Comment: Oh my gosh!! WOW!! What a terrific box full of wonderful surprises. I can't believe I have my own personalized name/chicken stamp. Thank you!! LOL Lisa, I love it all!! You did a terrific job.
Response: woohoo! I'm soooo glad you enjoyed everything! I was a little worried the package would be too chicken/rooster oriented! LOL. If your dad took you to Holbrook, AZ, in the 60's that very well could be the same place (there is another location, can't remember where!) and I forgot to write a note about the coasters, I did not make those! I got them in another swap and as much as I love the construction and the color theme, the gold in it turned me off and I knew I wasn't ever going to use them. I am a swap recycler, hope you don't mind!
Comment: Wow, Lisa you went above and beyond anything I could have ever expected! Thank you so much! I cant wait to listen to the CD's! I love other peoples mixes! Thank you so much!!!
Response: Cool! I hope everyone enjoys the chocolates! It dawned on me after packing it up that the dark chocolates aren't very kid friendly and the one milk chocolate bar has coffee bits in it! Oops! At least they can enjoy the little Dove hearts! Enjoy the music!
The Holga is awesome, I love Holga cameras.
I'm listening to one cd right now, and I love it. One of the best mix cds I've received in a long time... (and theres references to Chicago, which is a bonus for me)
P.s. Also love the fact that a lot of the bands on the cd are Canadian. (Serene Republic are from the same city as me!)
I loved it all. :)
Response: Cool! I'm sooo glad you liked everything! I honestly don't remember which mixes I sent you now! And you got the package a lot faster than I thought!
Comment: GUESS WHAT SHOWED UP! I got your letter on Christmas Eve. It's in perfect shape, and it was postmarked Nov 11, so I have no idea what happened. Either way, I'm delighted that it's finally here, and I'll reply shortly. Hugs, Shelley
Response: ha! I can't believe it! Well, there is another letter coming your way in place of the first letter that I sent sometime during the 2nd week of December! I wonder when that will show up!
Comment: LOL - it was funny opening your package - i LOVE the pie and potholder! the pie was hilarious, i'm displaying it proudly with the "thanksgiving dinner" i received from the food amigurumi swap in my office! thanks so much again!
Comment: I LOVE my amigurumi dim sum--and I love eating dim sum! I recognized it right away--some of my fave things too--especially packaged in the wax paper bags. And the magnets are great. I'm so glad I got to be your swappee again!
Response: oh goody! I'm so glad you liked them! I'd send some of the real thing if I could!
Comment: Wow, Lisa! I think the pouch is really great... especially after I read your card I couldn't stop smiling when looking at the poor mermaid!!! And you sure spoiled me with that huge package of Swedish Fish and the extra stamp carving block! Thank you so much for a really awesome package!
Response: haha! I'm so glad you liked everything Nicole! Let me know what you think of that carving block. I didn't have much luck with it but like my profile says, I need practice in block carving!
Comment: Your apple coasters are really cute, and I like the vintage psychedelic fall colours too! (No way I could have done that sewing and cutting out! Good for you!) Your paper and feather magnet is also fun - hope you don't mind if I copy it to make some Christmas ornaments (as gifts only) - I will be sure to tell everyone who gets one that it was designed by you! Thx and hugs, Terry
Response: Oh, I'm so glad you liked them!!! They didn't turn out quite as neat as I had hoped and I was concerned about the wonderful sewing everyone else can do! And please, by all means, copy the magnet!!
Comment: WOW!! Lisa went above and beyond! Her stamps Were AWESOME! I have NEVER seen those stamps anywhere and now I want to buy them! Thanks so much! I don't know what to do with them first! Our favorite holidays are Halloween and Thanksgiving, and my husband saw your images and he said "WHOA! Where did you get those!!!!" Even he was excited! The envelope was adorable too! Thanks!
