Comment: Respected Lady Ladybird,
It is with wriggling and many-limbed delight that I accept your invitation to the 43rd annual Bug Ball at le Grand Stump. The invitation card is exquisite: what delicacy of line your grasping pincers have achieved!
Thank you, and may the Spring sunshine warm your beautiful spotted back,
Comment: Oh my gosh. This is so unbelievably amazing!! You are SO talented. I hit the Valentine jackpot!! It looks just like a chunky version of my boy Bryan. This is really incredible, I am going to hang it up as art in my apartment. Thank you so much, I LOVE it!!!!
Comment: Hi Melissa! You have the neatest handwriting! I thought it was typed when I first saw it. I wish I can write like that! I love your holiday! I have very challenging days sometimea and to get my negativity out, I started a "venting" journal. I like your holiday much better! :)
Comment: Love the postcard! I had to look closely to see what was going on, hehe!! I wish I could do the one eyebrow thing too. My brother could and I would try everyday when we were little but I still can't to this day. Thanks!!
Comment: Love the card and the 5 things :) I would keep a couple of the kittens too :) I am usually spending the summer crocheting afghans for winter haha..not really a fun time to make a big heavy blanket I tell ya but great for keeping the hands and brain busy while one road trips! :) Love your handwriting! so clear and easy to read :) Thank you for the card :)
Comment: This was probably the best card I have gotten in a long time. I love it. Please remember to list which swap it is for either on the envelope, the back of the ATC or the note inside. I had to search all my atcs swaps to find you. I hope I get you as a sender again, as you are very creative.
Response: I'm really sorry about that. I'll make sure to double-check in the future. I'm happy that you liked the card, though!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely letter! Your handwriting is amazing. And I can't wait to try both of the recipes you sent. (I haven't read Series of Unfortunate Events, but I can see why they wouldn't translate Pasta Puttanesca accurately. I think the name is hilarious, although possibly not kid-friendly.)
Response: You're welcome! With the Puttanesca sauce, I think it was just the author having a little joke with the audience, even though only a few people would get it. It seems like he has that sense of humor.
Comment: gah everything about this swap was amazing... beautiful envelope, i love that card and then the ATC! so great! youre right about drawing tattooed people, it is hard to make them not flat. but i think you did a good job! thank you!
Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I read your profile, and thought to myself, 'this is going to be fun!' Sugar skulls are the most fun to draw.
Comment: Can't give you a heart, because you didn't include any ugly useless extras. hahah!! Just kidding! I absolutely loved your list--the drawing, your handwriting, what you said...it was such a fun thing to get! Thank you! :)
Comment: I haven't had it developed yet but I thought it was super funny that we had so many similarities on this swap. I was also pretty late sending it, I got a picture of my cats, and the back of my significant other because he too is camera shy!
Comment: Enjoyed the card. Laughed about the comments - made me feel good. 170cm tall, did have blonde hair (but now not much), hazel eyes, do like comfortable clothes. I guess my face is more angular, but an average nose. Great fun.
Comment: HOLY COW. I am totally floored by this envelope. I can't stop staring at it, the colors are gorgeous. This is seriously the best mail art (maybe even one of the best swaps?) I've gotten since I joined this website. I don't understand how you got such vibrant colors using watercolor, you're a freaking magician.
sdjfhgdfrejhgfjhg I STILL CAN'T STOP LOOKING AT IT.
Also, I loved the card and the poem, and I've pinned the little mushroom to my purse. Also also, I love your handwriting.
AHH I love this swap so much, thank you!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! :D I had a lot of fun making it for you.
Comment: TKS Melissa for the swap I rec'd...So talented you are-I adore the pin you made and painted and will charish it. I also appreciate your kind words-that is MUCH appreciated TOO!!!! You put a smile on my face :)
