Comment: Thank you for the Christmas card; warm and sunny? For once your weather is better than ours here in "Sunny" Southern California as we are expecting rain in a day or so. Happy holidays to you and yours!
Comment: Thank you for the ADORABLE Reindeer Raven,
Thank you so much for the adorable Mickey and Minnie Christmas card and the Doctor Who Postcard and Washi tapes!! I will use them in my planner! I am making a banner with all the cards and I'll string them across my fireplace mantle!! Merry Christmas!! <3
Comment: Thank you for all the beautiful stamps. I was hoping for an international partner and you really delivered on the uniqueness of all the stamps you sent and the fabulous ones on the envie! The postcard with the stamp/art is awesome and I will be framing it. Thank you again for a super swap.
Comment: Love everything you sent me! The koala bear pc is now the most favorite PC I ever received! The vintage Singapore is such a collector item. The building is beautiful so I am glad to hear it wasn't torn down! The crab atc you sent is so neat. Thank you so much for everything <3 <3
Comment: Thanks! I just looked trough the bag that had been here before to see if there was something I wanted in there, without signing. No problem! The other bag had some damaged stamps in it though. Please be more careful!
Comment: Thank you for the nice letter! LOVE the super- cute postcard and the cool stamps as well! I have a few Lamy pens and love them as well! If yours is made of aluminum, it is probably an Al-Star. If you write Chinese characters, Japanese pens (especially the ones by Pilot, Platinum, and Sailor) are great, nibs are very fine to accommodate all the strokes. Chinese pens are good too, but they tend to have poor quality control... They work great when they do, but when they fail, well... I have been addicted to vintage pens lately, especially Esterbrooks, but my all-time fav pens are by Ines de la Fressange, a brand by a former supermodel. Her pens are absolutely pretty!
Comment: Hi Raven!. I got your awesome card. I love the artwork. That's a company I have not seen before and will look up their catalog. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for the 7 different kinds of Hotel stationery. Amazing to get so many all at once. Happy Travels and Have a Great Year. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Comment: I love hearing how Christmas is celebrated in other countries! When I taught school, we did a unit in December on Christmas Around the World. We had people (mostly parents of students) who were raised in other countries come in and talk about how they had celebrated Christmas. I loved it! Thank you too for the Lighthouses of Maine card. I would love to visit Maine!
Comment: For one of your stamp bags, the stamps were all stuck together. In the other one there at least two defective stamps.
You have to be more careful on stamps you place in envelops, especially CTO stamps. I will send this pack back on the next stamp exchange to you.
They tend to stick to one another.
Response: I'm really sorry about that! I think I missed those. I will take extra care in the future.
Comment: hi raven! thank you so much for the fantastic coded message (where did you find those cute little guys?!) and the fabulous doctor who postcards!! what a nice surprise! the comment about wearing your fez made me laugh. i was de-coding it thinking, what is a F-E...oh! haha! hope you enjoy the fiftieth!
Comment: Thank you very much for the little extras you added for me (to start with). And thank you very much for the tea for my mom. She still hasn't found a tea she doesn't like, so that's why there are no preferences.
Comment: Thanks for the Batik postcard! I have always wanted to try to make a Batik T-shirt, but it looks like a lot of work! So I am really admiring your postcard showing this amazing pattern in Batik! Thank you!
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely variety of stamps! Also the Harrods teabag.....can't wait to try it, I am sure I will feel "rich" when I drink it!!! LOL!!! Thanks again and have a great rainy day! It is raining here in Muar! :-)

Comment: Thanks Raven for the stamp bags and also for the great airmail labels - they're fantastic. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and for the orange envie with fantastic postage stamps that will be going into my journal
Comment: Thank you!!! I can really see you put much effort into choosing my favorite flavors :-) I can't wait to try all of them, particularly Lipton Caramel (never had this, can you believe it?) and the Ginseng Cooling tea, which looks amazing! Thanks again!
Comment: I just received my letter, and you made my day! I love everything you sent, but the stamps are incredibly special, and I will treasure them. Your wax seal arrived in perfect condition, and is beautiful. Of course I love the Hogwarts PC, and the nurse card is wonderful. Thank you for such a thoughtful and special package. xoxo

Comment: Hello Raven,
Thank you for the postcard signed by you for the Traveling Postcard R9 Swap. It had to come a long way but it made it to me. Thank you also for the papers you enclosed.
Comment: Thanks Raven for the Chihuly postcard - I too am a fan of his work and have seen a couple of exhibits of his work. One had a video of their glass blowing techniques. There are lots on YouTube now.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Doctor Who card! :) I'd love to visit Cardiff too, someday, when our children are a bit older! Right now travelling with a baby belly and a 11 months old would be too difficult haha. Have a great day!
Comment: Hello Raven, I am so sorry! I gave your ratings to another lady..I also forgot that this swap had two partners! You're envelope was fantastic, lovely, and very thoughtful...Everything was much appreciated! Happy Swapping! Elizabeth
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Mr Men postcard! I didn't even know there were such! I'll have to give that to my daughter; she's got lots of Mr Men and Little Miss books and we often read them together at bedtime. I'll try to get your postcard back to you as soon as possible - probably in the mail on Tuesday after the Pentecost long weekend. Let me know when it arrives, please :)
Response: Postcard arrived today (27/5)! Thanks so much.
Comment: I can't wait to try the teas, thank you! I'll make the Boh tea strong as you suggested -- I like my tea that way. It is interesting that you drink iced tea there -- so many countries don't. I've never tried my iced tea with milk, though. And thank you, too for the post card!
Comment: Thank you, Raven. Wonderful choice! I am also a fan of Chihuly. A few years ago I went twice to Miami to see his works at Fairchild Tropical Gardens. My favorite was his Carnival Boat, similar to the one on the card you sent. In early May I'm going to St Petersburg (Florida, not Russia) to visit a friend. She has a friend who is a docent at the Chihuly Collection there & has offered to give us a tour. I'll think of you when I go.
Comment: hello, Raven! thank you for the postcards and the extras. and also for the nice stamps. and I like your handwriting :D. I'm thinking about sending you a postcard. if you don't mind, of course :).
have a nice day!
Comment: Hi Raven! Thank you so much for the ad postcards, I really like them :) I studied Advertising Management in college and I'm interested/like ad cards. Also thank you very much for the vintage postcard, when I read that hotel was demolished it made me a bit sad.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! I'll get it back to you probably after the Easter weekend. Let me know when you receive it, please :) And thank you also for the Snow Queen postcard - one of my wife's and daughter's favourite fairy tales! I'll pass it on to them!
Response: It arrived today (8 Apr)! Thanks so much!
Comment: This was awesome inspiration - I really love the food label and the sentence to go along with it. I had a vision of where the story could go right after reading it. I think it's really awesome that you found your childhood snack! How fun! :) Thank you so much for the awesome swap! :) (And I'm so sorry for the late rating - I had some medical issues to deal with this month.)
Comment: Too funny - and something that I've probably come close to saying myself (though not replacing a microwave, but other appliances that have been destroyed over the years for curious reasons LOL). Thank you so much!! :) (And I'm so sorry for the late rating - I had some medical issues to deal with this month.)
Comment: What a wonderful selection of PCs!! I especially love the Gardens by the Bay and would love to actuallysee it - it must be spectacular! Comment: Hello Raven,
What absolute wonderful postcard you sent me for this mini postcard scavenger hunt. These postcards will be a great addition to my postcard collection. Each postcard is special and unique. Thank you also for the unique stickers. I will have fun using them. Thank you for a great swap.
Comment: Thank you for the special touches of stickers and the Washi tape on your envelope! It was all so neat and pretty! And I ADORE the postage stamps. I just want to keep your envelope out in view so that I can look at it throughout the day. Silly, I know. And thank you for the two tag enclosures, too. My daughter and I are making journals and these would be a nice addition. :) Thank you for making a simple swap extra special!
Comment: Thank you, Raven, for the awesome pistcard! So weird! I read the post card first - thinking they were giant trees, WRONG! haha I was very surprised when I flipped over the card! haha! Also, your turtle stamp is adorable!
Comment: Thank you so much for all the lovely things you sent me. I absolutely loved the little sheets that can be folded into envelopes and the home made envelopes. Ingenious! Would love to swap personally if you like to?
Comment: Thank you so much for the card with the mother and 2 kids! I especially like the big kid wanting to be lifted up and the little kid trying to do something by himself. Must have been a mom who drew it :) Thanks also for the adorable stickers!

P.S. If you have more of those Sandman PC I would love to do privat swap with you.
Comment: LOL that was a suprise to receive another one from you again :-) I had not looked at who was supposed to send to me. I don't mind at all, love this card too and can add two extra dragonflies postage stamps to my collection ;-) thanks!
Comment: Thanks for sharing the little things that make you happy. I don't know if I'd consider the smell of the air in a different city magical, but I grew up rurally, so I'm not used to city air smells :)
Comment: I loved your bucket list and the fact that you chose to write it via typewriter. We have some similar goals - like visit Japan and learn to draw. Thanks for the post card! I loved goal number 101 - something to remind myself of! Good luck with your list!
Comment: Hi Raven, I cannot believe that he is the last street hawker. What has happened to the rest of them and why? I love Satay as well, we call them Kabobs here. I like mine with sweet chili sause and hot, hot mustard. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Raven, thanks for the info about Singapore! I have a few friends from college who were international students fom Singapore! They would always tell me how great it was! We also had a baby panda born in our zoo (in Washington DC) a few weeks ago but it didn't survive past a few day.. wishing your pandas the best! By the way, I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything but I just wanted to let you know that the swap said to include 8 pamphlets. I gave you a 5 anyways. Happy swapping!
Response: Omg, I think I miscounted? But thank you for your kind rating!
Comment: I like your six word memoir. It reminds me of two of my closest friends. We're opposites since I'm loud and probably obnoxious but those friends have taught me to be more reflective and thoughtful. Thanks for the PC!
Comment: Thanks for the great cards! My nephew collects them, so I'll be giving these to him. The stickers are great too. My grandson is starting potty training and we give him a sticker if he "tries" !
Comment: hello & thanks so much for the great gold
ornament postcard from your country's museum
... still shiny & beautiful after all the centuries!
the street view stamp was fabulous
- wish i were there!
please enjoy the best your city-state has to offer ~ thanks for sharing on swap-bot!
Comment: Thank you Raven, what a unique structure the MBS is. I don't think I could go out on the top, I don't do heights too well. But it sure is cool to look at. I pulled up additional images of it online.
Comment: I never got a card from you but sometimes things don't make it internationally. Giving you a 5 for the effort. :) Teresa UPDATE: Wow! You really didn't have to go to such trouble to re-send but I want you to know that I LOVED THE CARDS! :) Love the Miffy card especially! :) Cheers to you and thank you so much! :) Teresa
Response: A second postcard is on its way to you now! Just dropped it off at the post office.
Comment: I love the postcard and ALL of the stamps that you used to mail it to me! Thanks so much. (Sorry for the delay in rating... we were out of town and your card was waiting here to welcome me home :-)
Comment: I received your letter today, unfortunately it was a bit mangled and there was no paper clip and only slivers of the broken - what I assumed to be - gel pen. They run envelopes of that size through machines that bend and broke the pen. Thankfully the ink was missing so I could still read everything. :) Thank you for your efforts.
Response: OH NO! I'm so sorry!! I thought it'd be safe because my friend has sent the same items without any problem before! D: D:
Comment: Thank you for the postcard :)
It has such an interesting picture on it lol.
I don't think I had ever heard of hydroponic gardening before, well maybe once in science class, but that seems like a long time ago :)
Comment: Thank you very much for the pretty card I received for this swap. :) I loved learning about the Merlion. So thank you for teaching me about it. Also thank you for the nice stamp. :)
Have a great week! ~Katharina
Comment: What a lovely, lovely heartfelt letter! Your penmanship is beautiful! I am so impressed you made 50 butterlies, what a wonderful contribution to such a worthwhile cause. I hope we meet at the mailbox again some day. ♥♥♥♥♥
Comment: Thank you so much for the thoughtful letter! It was nice to hear from another Gaiman fan - did you know that there's going to be a miniseries of Good Omens in 2013? I think it's being produced by BBC, but I can't remember. Still, it's something to look forward to!
