Comment: Hi Amy Marie and thank you for the two vellum pockets. Love the pretty light green butterfly one and there fun Halloween one. Is that a stamp or did you draw that?? Both will go great inside my junk journal. And thank you for the extras as well!
Response: The Halloween image is a rubber stamp - I colored it with markers on the vellum.
Comment: Thank you! I am thrilled you shared some of your family vintage goodies with me and taking the time to write me a note about the pieces. Everything is so special and a joy to receive inside and out with your vintage rubber-stamped envie. See you in the mail again soon. 💛
Comment: This was a fun swap! I love your post card and your note. Thank you so much. I'm wondering what company the mailbox stamp is from? I don't remember ever seeing one before. The stamps you used made a perfect masterboard.
Response: I am so glad you like the swap. The mailbox is from an older / retired Lawn Fawn set called "You've Got Mail".
Comment: Hi AmyMarie! No worries--they are here! I like to write detailed comments so I save several swaps to rate when I can enjoy looking at all the little details. These are fabulous! So many different elements--I see something new each time I look. I LOVE the little pawprint, the tree, and that gorgeous butterfly--not to mention the meticulous collaged backgrounds. Really lovely; I'll enjoy adding these to my journals!
Comment: Thank you for the card and the matching HP stamp! :)
I remember being disappointed after the movie(s) because all of the things they left out. But it's still a movie and you can't have all of the magic ;)
Comment: This envelope envelope is just great-love the fingerprint in the acetate window. I played many games of Clue when I was younger and this brought back some happy memories! Thanks for all the lovely extras. Love the quirky napkin. You're luck to have seen Dar three times-I doubt she will ever make it close to North Dakota! Stay well-stay safe-Blessings!
Comment: Hi AmyMarie! Thank you soooooooooooo much for this awesome collection of junk journal goodness! Was so much fun to open and I can use every stinkin' bit of it!
Oh, and also, I am an avid traveler (or was up until this year). I can relate on not being able to find a tribe to travel with. Luckily, I found my second husband and he loves to travel as much as I do. However, it's just sometimes fun to travel with another girl friend, you do different things and experience the world differently. If you are outdoorsy, look up Adventures in Good Company. I've been on a few of their trips and it was like going to summer camp both times, met amazing women who liked what I did and just had some great fun. Only downside, some of the trips are pricey. I did the Hiking the Lake Superior Trail and it was affordable, I had so much fun. Happy end of summer! Deanna
Comment: Wow AmyMarie, these are some fantastic PCs, especially the Rhino one, I love it!! As well as the extras & the great rubber stamped envelope. What a fun little envie of Happy Mail. Take care & keep cool ;)
Comment: Hi AmyMarie! Your Pooh postalette is so cute! Thank you for joining the swap and for the lovely share about the Park of Roses - sounds amazing! I understand the car rides to get out of the house - we are hearing rumors of another lockdown and the thought makes me want to cry! On the other hand I want others to be well, so... So how do you like your Instant Pot? Wishing you all the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you soooo much for the playing cards as well as the extra goodies for my junk journal. I was just working on it today and these will be awesome additions! The Stampin' Up is my favorite playing card, I had no idea they had their own deck of cards.
Comment: Thank you SO much, AmyMarie! I love love love everytning you sent!! This was one of my favorite ephemera swaps EVER! Thank you! I am looking forward to creating another signature for my junk journal this weekend and some of these things are PERFECT for just that!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!
Comment: I thank you so much for having been in my swap. Thank you for your nice note. I gather you enjoyed it. You're so welcome for me hosting it. And, thank you very much for the PC's on National Museum of US Air Force, Big letters of Delaware, Cave, State Park of Maumee Bay, and extra of Lunar and of sheet of memo, and recipe card. I enjoyed all very much!
Comment: I love your journal page and all of the extra goodies ! Thanks for taking my style into consideration.
Have a great day !
BTW: Where did you get that fish stamp with the Chinese characters? I love it !
Response: So glad you liked the swap. The Chinese characters stamp is from JudiKins (2201 J). The fish stamp I bought at Stamp Francisco when it was in San Francisco. They are no longer in business but I think another company purchased them or the images.
Comment: Great envelope with all the stamping, would make fun wrapping paper or stationery, too -- and many thanks for the faux passport with stickers and the extra stickers, really enjoyed the swap you sent, thank you!
Comment: Absolutely lovely envelope full of fantastic ephemera! I love the personal touches... the Ace of diamonds *grins* Love it so much! everything is fantastic! I will have a lot of fun this week decorating my journal!!
Sending hugs from NJ to you! x
Comment: I finally got your postcard(s)!! Both arrived at the same time, how weird ><
But nonetheless I'm glad they arrived safely, and I have great HP photos to put up on my walls :) Thank you for this swap <3
Comment: Thank you for this awesome swap!! I LOVE everything you sent!! The coolest bit ever is the Panorama Color slides card of HOLLAND! Whoa I have never seen these before nor the machine that they go in! But I'm gonna do some research and see what they are!! Thank you SO much! <3 <3 <3
Ps- LOVE the Dr Who sticky note you wrote on and the Rubber stamped Dr Who Images on the envie!!!! <3
Comment: I love your steampunk/vintage pockets!!! And all the tags and little bits you filled the pockets with!! I will sooo enjoy using them! Thank you so very much!! (I just finished rewatching all the Gilmore Girls episodes, maybe I'll rewatch NCIS, next!! Take care!
Comment: Such a great swap you sent me! Thanks so much. All of the cards you sent are so unique. Wherever did you get them? Really liking the round card and the skeleton card! Really like the stamps you used on the envelope. I think I might have to see if I can find some for myself (sorry to steal your ideas) lol Happy swapping!
Response: I buy playing cards when I travel (cheap souvenirs - US states, China, Peru, etc.) and at garage sales / thrift stores / antique markets. I have gotten some new decks at bookstores. Stamping envelopes was not my original idea - people have been decorating mail since mail existed. Stamp & get creative with your mail! :)
Comment: AmyMarie, these are absolutely GORGEOUS! Every one looks like a large cancelled postage stamp. I LOVE all the images you used--they're all perfection--although I must say that little bulldog has stolen my heart! I'm so lucky you were my sending partner for this swap. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you so much for your beautiful envelope and wonderful postage! I loved all the Mr. zip stamps on your envelope, where did you get them from? Also those trees stamps, like the white pine and Sequoia, are my absolute favorites now that I live in the Pacific Northwest. Glad you enjoy the swaps, have a wonderful week! Micaela Thank you so much for your beautiful envelope and wonderful postage! I loved all the Mr. zip stamps on your envelope, where did you get them from? Also those tree stamps, like the white pine and Birch, are my absolute favorites now that I live in the Pacific Northwest. Glad you enjoy the swaps, have a wonderful week! Micaela🥰❣️😊
Response: I am so glad you liked what I sent. Viva Las VegaStamps sells the Mr Zip rubber stamps and lots of other postal-related rubber stamps. Have a great week!
Comment: Amy Marie, your envelope, with 32 stamper marks on it, is stunning! I've been wanting to get a personalized return address stamp like yours! I love the letter on the embellished paper - the gold embellishments are regal. Thank you for the ephemera and postcards. It was a wonderful packet of snail-mail goodness! xo
Comment: How was The Clockmaker's Daughter? I've been wanting to read it.
Response: I enjoyed it. I read it over a long time (a couple of months) so I had to keep reminding myself of who was who in the story. Have you read other books by Kate Morton? I recommend the Secret Keeper by her.
Comment: WOW! You have absolutely spoiled me! You have a wonderful selection of vintage ephemera and I am just thrilled with everything you have gifted to me!
And you also have great playing cards! Thanks for everything, stay healthy and best wishes,Mar/skinny52
Comment: Fantastic variety of AWESOME Ephemera! I love each bit you sent!! So much goodness in this envelope! I am so excited to get it all sorted so that I can figure out how to use each piece!! Thank you Thank you!!!
Comment: Hi AmyMarie! Love all the Bicentennial Stamps to go with the pc - I so love vintage stamps - they are so interesting to me! Wish I would have taken an interest in when I was way younger - sigh! Thanks so much for the lovely Happy Mail! Please stay safe! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hey AmyMarie, thanks a lot for the nice moon card and all the special stamps, those are my favorites US stamps. Wow indeed 50 years already, I only know it from stories but it was a huge thing back then
Comment: Thanks for the PC ánd of course the washi.
But most of all the Unit-Letter. How old is it do you think? I am afraid it will turn in 100 pieces when you send one in this modern times of sortingmachines.
Have a nice day and stay safe!
Response: I think it is from the mid-1940's. I know during World War II, V-mail was used which is the same idea of fold & send / unit-letter. The package says W.P. Rend Co patent pending. I tried researching it before but couldn't find anything about it. Modern machinery may eat it up but it would be interesting to try. Take care.
Comment: AmyMarie, what a lovely package you made! Love everything about it! Would love to know how you embellished the note card, with the gilding and waxy finish, gorgeous!
Response: I am so glad you liked everything. It was fun to put together. The writing paper / note card was created for a swap - not sure if I sent one of mine or one I received. A video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipb1T53DdaQ) was the inspiration / instructions.
Comment: AmyMarie.... Thank you for the fun playing cards! I never knew SU! had playing cards. I agree, a healthy home cooked meal is nice. I wish someone would cook one for me once in a while! LOL ;*) Enjoy your cat and family chats.
Comment: Thank you for the 2 awesome cards!! When/where did you get the "Stampin up!" card? I signed on as a Demonstrator in March. I never would have dreamed they would have a deck of cards. I loved the Las Vegas one as well. Thank you for joining my Swap!
Response: I got the Stampin' Up! cards many years ago at the demonstrators convention in Salt Lake City (only available for that convention / year, I think). Each year they had different items to buy with the logo on it. I am no longer a SU! demonstrator and that was the only convention I attended.
Comment: This is by far one of the coolest things I have ever received in the mail. There is no way I am going to be able to actually use anything you sent for fear of spoiling it! Thank you very much for such a perfect swap.
Stay safe and happy swapping x
Comment: Thank you for the great card. I have that set and I love whenever I get a written card from one of my sets. Then I don't feel so bad when I send a card out. I love those eclipse moon stamps. I still have a part of a sheet of them.
Comment: Oh my, AmyMarie, this flowish journal is AWESOME! I love it! I am new to flow journals and I am so excited about it! I am so happy to have the one you made as my “example”! There is so much to look at and use in my future projects. The variety of papers is great...going to be so fun. I wish I could give you 10 stars for this wonderful swap! Thank you so very much!
Response: I am so glad you like it. It was my first flowish journal so I am no expert! I kept finding cool things to include and had a hard time stopping. When the journal was too big for the envelope, that made the decision easier. :)
Comment: Thank you so much for your decoupaged stationery. Love also all extras you sent. And thanks for a nice letter from a cat owner and traveling lover. ;) It is really nice to get beautiful mail in mail box these crazy days. In Europe situation is really serious and quite scary. :(
Comment: What a sweetly thought out swap. All the goodies you sent are great! Thank you:) I will have to look into Quest Scouting. It seems like something that would be fun. I am a science major too, biology and chemistry! How cool we have so many things in common.
Comment: Dear AmyMarie,
thank you for your postcard. Yay, Eleven <3 Great choice. I also loooove the quote you chose. Made me laugh a lot :) I will send you a postcard soon, just because... :)
Response: Thanks! I am glad it made you laugh. I laughed so hard the first time I saw that episode. I look forward to your postcard!
Comment: Oh my land, you deserve a thousand 💕! This packet of loveliness is the highlight of my week! Thank you SO VERY MUCH for your thoughtfulness! From the very start you impressed by simply packaging it all in a brown paper bag tied up with string! Then filled it with an assortment of my faves like purple mulberry paper and a glassine envelope, 7-of-❤️‘S playing cards, one of them with a Maypole design...and then I cannot forget the cool little subway token and unique key, or amazing postcard of a vintage Scotland travel poster! I just love that everything here shows me how intently you read through my profile to make the swap a personal blessing! You’re a joy to have had as my swap partner! Thank you 😊 Merci Gracias and Mahalo 💌♥️💕🥰💜☀️🤩🤗🌻🌈😁💫📬🌸👍🏼😇😍
Response: This is why I love swapping - making fun packages that my partners enjoy. Thanks for the wonderful rating and I am thrilled you like what I sent.
Comment: Hello, interesting postcard for Round 30 - I'll make sure it goes out next round. Thanks very much for the extras. Just my style, and I love the folded letter stationery; I've never seen this kind before.
Comment: Any Marie thanks so much. I love the bonus dr who pc. I lived in Delaware 30+years ago and this one is extra special to me. I love the boardwalk too the train and nature are cool too. Thanks. Merry Christmas
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful envelope full of goodies! You were so generous and I love everything you sent, including some of your 'clean-out postcards'. Thank you! I also loved your Gingerbear card - super cute!
Comment: I love the vintage looking sewing stamps-perfect for use in the sewing journal I am working on! And the square ones are the right size of inchies! Thanks for the great stamps and Happy Holidays!
Comment: Hi!!! I just received the mail in my mail box and I LOVE everything inside!!!! All the postcard are so cute and the matching paper and envies are all really pretty. I can't wait to use them all. thank you so much for all the extras and goodies!
Comment: Oh. My. Goodness! This is my favorite piece of all time! You nailed it! Thank you so much, and if you could possibly share your source for those itty bitty pieces, I would be so grateful! 💟😘
Response: I don't remember for sure where I purchased them. It may have been at a rubber stamping convention (booth with lots of small embellishments & vintage papers). If so, that company (Studios Blackbird) has since closed. The packaging has "Stanislaus Imports" on it.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful napkins and ephemera package and the cute fall cut outs/ doilies! I'm interested in the scouts for adults. We may check into this after Mike finishes his treatments. He is cancer free but has to finish the entire regimen. I think this would be good for him after all he's been through. Thank you again!
Comment: Thank you for the great postcards 😊 I recently bought the night sky box but I love them! Longboarding is easier than skateboarding because the board is much larger and you can go extremely fast downhill.
Comment: thanks for the quest scouts postcard - i'm going to have to look into that! and it sounds like we have a lot in common (Carrie Newcomer, Hamish > Agatha Raisin, etc). And i'm going to be taking a workshop at Hollander's this weekend!
Comment: Thanks so much for the fun cards and for the extras! I do like the weird bird (roadrunner) and the quirky ostrich ranch card that shows three animals, none of which are ostriches! I've never seen a roller soaker amusement ride before. Not sure that would be a big draw for me, but I bet the kids love it. All the best, Cynthia
Comment: AmyMarie... Thank you so much for the Napkins! It's funny, I sent the Purple Butterfly to everyone, and I have received 2 back so far :-) We ALL shop napkins at Tuesday Morning!! Thank you also for the notecard and the Quest info. I am going to check that out. Happy Swapping.
Comment: Thanks for all the great cards, AmyMarie. And what a delightful bunch of extra stamps, artistamps & cigar bands. Never saw such giant cigar bands -- can't imagine what the cigars look like!! Glad you're enjoying a beautiful autumn. No Fall here -- just endlessly hot & humid.
Comment: Amy, thank you for the book recommendations. I have read "The Handmaid's Tale". That book is terrifying and enraging. I have not read the sequel yet. It is on my reading list though. Have you watched the t.v. series? Seasons 1-3 is currently streaming on Hulu. Lora
Comment: Thanks for the great postcards and your lovely note. I was born in OH. My father was a chemistry professor at OSU and we lived in the small town of Dublin and then Upper Arlington when I started school. We moved to the East Coast when I was 8.
Comment: Hi AmyMarie! What a great PC! A Dalek.. I wish I could find cards like that!! Thank you for sharing the books you are reading with me... I've never read any Dorothy Gilman or Benjamin Spall/Michael Xander. What were you looking for in the cookbooks? The post office stamped their mark over your last few sentences..I can barely make out "...from the libary..." for the cookbooks. Arrgggh. Do you cook a lot? I
Response: I am glad you like the postcard (got a Doctor Who set of postcards from Amazon). I have lots of food limitations (allergies & medical conditions) so I usually have to cook at home. I look for gluten-free, specialized diets, healthy, quick & easy recipes plus ones for the InstaPot (got one as a gift).
Comment: Thank you for the lovely puzzle piece! It's crazy how sometimes you do keep getting the same person. I appreciate how you have made each so different! They look great! I like your gelli print! I have been making solar prints lately, and have the same problem. I'm going in to open studio time this weekend--yikes! And I hope to make some cards for swaps and for the holidays.
Comment: Loved the washi tape. And the Dorset England note card. Your reading list just added more to a surprise trip to the post. I look forward to trying some of the books on your list and using the bookmark you sent. Thanks for sharing.Have a great day. bearnbabs
Comment: Thank you! I was right there on that spot in 1997!! The pc doesn't do it justice.. the sky is massive and the rocks are all scattered about.... made me wonder what exactly they were all put on those exact spots for!
Thank you !!
Love EVERYTHING SCOTLAND!
Comment: Great Christmas Musical PC, Love it! Arrived without a scratch on it. I am familiar with your warm weather. When I lived West of Chicago we would visit my Bestie in Mt. Liberty/Westerville. I said I could live here, my family said No No No, too many bugs and humidity. I do love Columbus though! Hang on, Fall is coming!
Comment: Thanks for the blue washi and the extra vintage-y ones - love them! Thanks for the recommendation - I have read (or listened to) that one. I haven't done encaustics for a while. I have space for it, but no ventilation.
Comment: Oh my, Amy Marie! What a wonderful BIG batch of postcards arrived from you in a washi-tape decorated envie today. Thank you so much for checking my profile & selecting such an interesting assortment. I'm a fan of Escher's work but "whirlpool" was a new one for me. Love the sacred stones, the Broadway poster, Jimi Hendrix, the Army exercisers -- well, all of them! Extra ♥♥♥ for your generosity & thoughtfulness.
Comment: Oh! I found someone who loves me binding books for them. My mother in law is a kindergarten teacher and I make little books for her class. She loves it! You should make some soon :) Thank you so much for the cool PC! 💗🦋💗🦋💗🦋
Comment: I love all the beautiful stationery you sent me! Thanks for the extra and cool envelopes!!! : ) I find stationery at Hallmark too but also Barnes & Noble, sometimes Meijer will have a set, and I look online or in my travels. Homegoods is hit or miss but I’ve found nice things there. I find nice pads of paper more than sets of stationery Thank you so much for joining my swap!!!
Comment: Thanks so much for the tons of stickers!! you sent me so many! I love them! My daughter immediately confiscated the makeup stickers-- she loves them!! Thanks so much for your generosity and for such a fun swap!!
Have a great week!! x Gabi
Comment: What a pretty collection of dots and Stripes! I really like the black and white and aqua theme on two of the cards, so classy and cool. I know exactly what you mean by needing to round out the washi collection. I have pink for days but two orange rolls, why do we do that to ourselves!?
Comment: Thanks so much for all the great cards & extras you chose for this swap, AmyMarie, & I really appreciate your finding such a nice selection of non-touristy ones for me. I especially like the 40's phys ed class & that gorgeous lemur, but they're all special. Love your colorful envie with all the immigration stamps and washi tapes too!
Comment: This was by far the best Mystery Supply swap I have ever received! The fringe bangs ATC was great, but I absolutely ADORE the feather! You did great with a very challenging supply. Thank you so much.
Response: Wow, Thanks! That means a lot to me since I really, really struggled with the mystery supply. I threw away a few attempts / ideas before I got to the final result / items. I was glad it turned out so well.
Comment: Hi neighbor!!! How funny is that!!?? So glad to “meet” you! And a huge thank you for totally spoiling me! Wow! I love all the postcards, airmail and space goodies. That was so kind of you!!!!!! Really do appreciate it! : )
Comment: Hi AmyMarie!! Thank you so much for the great postage stamps, I absolutely adore the bighorn sheep and the forget me not forever stamp. I hadn't seen those before! Also the Mary Cassatt is just a classic and one of my faves, thank you again! I hope you enjoyed this swap, cheers. Micaela ❤️
Comment: Beautiful card!! I really like this one! I live, not too far from there!! You're right.. so much amazing architecture in NYC! I am gonna go on a photo walk and get some great shots!! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Comment: AHH thank you!! LOVE this Cyberman PC! - Definitely gonna use this in my planner as a place keeper!!!!!!!!
I also love 10 --- I cosplay as Donna Noble because I look so freakin' much like her -- I would prefer to cosplay as River Song because 11 owns my heart! BUT.... I love being Donna at conventions and taking pics with the various doctor cosplayers and the TARDIS!! <3 - Ever been to a convention? SOOOO COOOL!!
I also ADORE this Harry Potter card with the Hogsmeade Owl Post postmark!! These stamps are SO cool! Thank you SO much !HAHAHAH I love Arnold.. adorable.. Makes me want one... LOL!!!
Response: So glad you liked the postcards. :) I have not been to a Doctor Who convention...yet. They look so fun. I really enjoyed Hogsmeade / Harry Potter World at Universal Studios (Hollywood). I like frozen butter beer. :)
Comment: Ahhhh, your piece is stellar. I love the colors, all the textures, and the little mechanical gears! I cannot wait to see how this entire series turns out, and I'm right there with you about having a ton of fun with these swaps! :)
Comment: Thank You Amy Marie for such a lovely envelope. I loved all the great ephemera you managed to fit into it! All the vintage fashion ladies are so enjoyable, as well as ticket stubs and bits and pieces of books and pages in different languages. Thank you so much!
Comment: Thank you for the creative postal page and all the items you added♥ I must shop at the wrong places because I had trouble getting postal items. I like the paper you added for the back and the mailbox is just too cute♥
Comment: Thank you for such a nice and thoughtful pocket letter. I love the color scheme/design on both sides. I also appreciate the little gpodies inside. I definitely will put them to good use, especially the keys and the paperclips. Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the nice pocket letter and goodies, Amy. I liked the idea of taking larger images and stretching them across the pockets instead of just cutting them down! I did the same for another pocket letter I was working on in a different theme for the back decorating and it looked fantastic when I was done!
Comment: Thank you so much for the AMAZING post card! And for the great recommendation! I love London as well and am so excited to go back. And I know I'll love Sweeden. One of these days I'll get there too!
Comment: Hi AmyMarie, thanks a lot for the re-send. It took me a long time to receive it but that's only because I wasn't home. I love the cards (gifts) and the Christmas card you included. They're perfect. :)
Comment: Thanks for the PC:) I'm also a fan of the tenth doctor although the fourth is my all time favourite and I think Matt Smith as the eleventh was pretty awesome too. Haven't decided if I like the new one yet. Hope you had a great Christmas! Best wishes for 2015:)
Comment: You went above and beyond on this lovely package. I wish that I could add a few extra hearts to compensate for the time you spent on this swap. I love how your inspiration read through onto the box. And then all the little extras that you filled the box with... well I could go on and on but I will stop with thank you for sending such a fantastic swap.
Comment: The quilted shirt is so clever! I never would have thought of making a zipper, I love it. What a great idea to make a little ATC sleeve out of it too. The snowman is adorable, another great idea. I hope you will post a picture of your creations in the Mystery Supply thread. Let me know if you need me to take a photo of it. Thanks for the great swap.
Response: Thanks! I haven't figured out how to post pictures on the thread (can you email me how - or you can do it if you have photos of it).
Comment: I received the postcard, Amy, and will wait for the next round to send it out. I must copy all the titles as I want to check into all of them. This is my first time in this swap and am enjoying it already! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
Comment: Thank you Amy Marie!
Your postcard arrived today. Thank you so much for your note on it! Seems like we have a lot in common! Hope you can come to tea one day at Crown & Crumpet!
Comment: Thank you for the perfectly decorated envelope; my husband was so impressed too! You have quite a collection of stamps; makes me want to go out and find some interesting stamps now too! I hope you have a beautiful day and thank you for making my day!
Comment: Thank you!! I love the envelopes and the paper you used!yoir rubber stamped envelope looks so nice!! I really love the notecard and postcard too - what a great surprise!! Thank you very much!!!!! : )
Comment: I love the Doctor Who postcard! I will definitely have to check out the book (well, the first one in the series first!) you mentioned. I love that it takes place in Ireland and that the character shares my name (with different spelling)!
Comment: Thank you, and i SINCERELY APOLOGIZE for not rating the moment i received this. And a super big thank you for the very special bonuses!!!! I am so happy to have them. I'll try to remember to include a nice something for the next person when i send it off into the world again :-)
Comment: Thank you for your swap! :) Ignoring chores and reading books is one of my favorite things to do!! Luckily I have a hubby that loves to read too, so he doesn't mind if the dishes go undone a few days. :)
Comment: I love M&JJ Creative Correspondence. I like that they use recycled materials like junk mail envelopes, and their level of difficulty (or lack thereof) is good for me - some craft books are more like fine art books and I'm hopeless! I do indeed cook - thanks for the recipe. And I host a typewriter letter swap, so I can definitely use the typewriter card. Thanks!
Comment: We have the same bad bookish habit! I loved All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten: Uncommon Thoughts on Common Things by Robert Fulghum . The valedictorian of my high school class used as the basis of her speech in 1995.
Comment: delightful! I knew I would learn new things from this swap ;-) thanks so much for the puzzles. I'm trying to find them this size to put on the back of postcards to share with friends. Glad to hear others have the artist's curse of seeing potential in everything, lol
Comment: Thank you so much for putting a big smile on my face today - what a wonderful swap. I love all the project life goodies and was so surprised by the flavoured M&M's - I can't wait to try them. The handmade cards you made are adorable. Thank you again - this was such a wonderful swap.
Comment: Wow! I love your postal zine! All of the artistamps, airmail labels, and real stamps are very cool. Possibly my favorite part, however, is the AWESOME vintage unifold letter that you made it from--it is so cool! Thank you so much!
Comment: What an AMAZING envelope... I love all the stamps you have that are mail related...and then inside so many surprises... the zine is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS... I am really excited to have received this...thank you so much! Many hearts for you!!
Comment: Great Delaware PC! Love the facts and figures - learn something new. . . that the state was actually named in honor of the first governor of Virginia!! Thanks again for the great Delaware PC ~~
Comment: Thank you AmyMarie, for this great zine! I love the artistamp that you made! Very clever to make your country/PO your name spelled backwards! Where do you get your artistamps? Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
PS: did you make the stamp for the outside of the envie too? It's great!
Response: Thanks so much! I get the artistamps (made by others) in artistamp or mailart swaps (sometimes included as "extras" by the sender). I don't remember what I put on the envie. If it was on the back side, it was an envelope seal sticker.
Comment: WONDERFUL package! Not only did you create a lovely (pink!) bookmark with a wonderful message, you finished the back! Love your scroll stamps and your personalized stamp. Now . . . what can I say about the REST of the package??? It was A M A Z I N G! SO many lovely mailing goodies. This was such a fun package to open. It was almost like 2 swaps in one! One for the bookmark and another for mailing goodies. Thank you SO much for everything you sent.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely swap I received today. I greatly enjoyed your hand-made envie, the enclosures that really speak to my interests, and the bookmark that was a very cool collage! It was especially neat to see the German writing peek out beneath the layers :)
Comment: Love the postage stamp idea. Usually, when starting a Pass and Paste PC, you fill in the first section also, but I'm totally okay with your portion as the background. It's for you, after all. ;D Thank you.
Comment: These are great! I especially like the homemade paper one. I took a paper making class in college and really enjoyed it. The ohio one is cool too since I'm from there. I still have a bunch of paper I made in the class if you'd ever like to swap a couple sheets! Thanks for these ^_^.
Comment: What a stash of stuff! I really like the kittens bookmark and bookplates. The Indian bookmark is a gem. And those book pockets and cards! Thank you so much--if there were more hearts to give I would. So many goodies!
Comment: Thank you! I love seeing vintage stamps too. What is the masking tape method you used for the background?
Response: Thanks. I don't know the proper name for the technique. I start with a blank, white page and put artist's tape/masking tape down in random sizes and places. I color the background with various inks. Then I remove the tape and do some rubberstamping.
Response: Glad you like it. You must have finally received the first one I sent. I put the resend in the mail yesterday and I doubt if it would have arrived so soon. Bonus for you - 2 pcs from me for this swap. :)
Comment: Thank you for the bicycle mail art. Yours was the 2nd transportation card I rec'd in the mail and I began to ask myself "did I sign up for a transportation swap? I don't remember if I did" and then I realized that both partner had sent the transportation theme. I liked your handmade postcard, not to mention it had a matching bicycle stamp to go with your theme. Nice work! blessings,
Response: Glad you liked it. The theme for Mail Art - Week 16 actually IS Transportation (first 2 sentences of the swap description) so all your mailart for the swap should be in that theme. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Love the lemon and your signature stamp. The paper is beautiful, how did you find it? I hope that there are more etegami swaps!
Response: Thanks! I do not having very developed drawing skills and I am not very experienced in painting but I love the idea of etegami. I am so glad you like it. I bought the watercolor paper postcards at Dick Blick Art Materials.
Comment: AmyMarie!!! Thanks so much for such a great mail art envie! I didn't know that the envie was handmade at first, it looked like an envie you'd find at a store! You did great on it! Thanks also for the ton of goodies inside!!
Comment: This was such an exciting envelope!!! You did such a great job, I thought the envie was designer paper!!! It looks so perfect. I noticed my birthday, jan 26, was stamped all over it!!! The goodies were def above and beyond. I love them all! You are so sweet and such a great swapper! Thank you so very much!!!!
Comment: Amy Marie, This weeks' experiment turned out great! I love the colors, textures and the way you repeated the hexigon shape throughout. The only thing I might have added would be to make the Pc into a hexigon shap as well. But that might have been too much of a good thing! Anyway I love it! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry PS: You have to come back to AK again...2d honeymoon?
Comment: Sorry I didn't rate this sooner - I was gone all weekend. LOVED the journal and how funny - you live an hour from me! lol Some of what you wrote was familiar, but I'm happy to say, some wasn't and I am planning on going to check it all out soon! Thanks again - great journal! :)
Response: Yea! It arrived okay - across town. :) I am so glad you like the journal!
Comment: Love this! Love the fold-out design, the beautiful colour printing and the fascinating idea of the sales tax stamps (something I don't think we have ever had over here). :) (Hope my zine reaches you, soon... :S )
Response: I am so glad you like it (you do such wonderful zines and I wanted to strive for the same quality). I had to "think outside the box" to get the stamp images included in an organized way.
Comment: I will add two of three ATCs in my collection. The "In the Wild" is not my type of ATC, but I will trade it again in another swap in future. I think it will be find the right home :) Thanks also for the ATC blanks. White ones are everytime good and I hope I find a good way to use the colored ones.
Comment: I have been to all 3, Bryce, Zion & the Grand Canyon & the pictures do none of them any good. Each are beautiful in their own ways...I would love to take the mule train down to the bottom. You should go someday, it will be a site that you will never forget. Thanks for the great card...Love it
Comment: Hi Amy! Thank you very much for the glimpse into the interesting life of you. I like rich razzelberry too. So pretty. Love the variety, tickets, text ... gosh, there's no one word except ... ephemera! LOL. Thanks again. Very fun.
Comment: Yay! The notebook arrived safe and sound this time! I totally love how you decorated it...it's 100% my style! Thank you for re-sending...I'm sorry the post office was so picky! I love the arrow that was accidentally taped on and all the tickets! Very cool!
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful Ohio zine. I was born in Columbus and remember those state sales tax stamps! The fact that tomato juice is Ohio's state beverage is roughly equivalent to the fact that the morel is Minnesota's state mushroom. Thanks.
Comment: Thanks for your zine - I was very impressed with how professional it looked, and I liked the way you stuck in little samples of the crafts etc. It sounds like you had lots of fun with your neices!
Comment: Thanks for the cute mini-zine - I loved all the little extra touches to make it that little bit different. Thanks for swapping. :) (& sorry for slightly delayed rating - I accidentally archived too early!)
Comment: Thanks for the awesome zine! I have never made my own paper, but I'll have to try it with my daughters over the summer. I loved the see through page and the samples of the papers you made! Super cool! Thanks again!
Response: Making paper isn't very hard - messy (wet) and time consuming (esp the drying part). Definitely try it and have fun!
Comment: I learned about foldnotes when I was young but these are different. Loved you faux stamps - I have a punch but none as small and cute as yours. I could go on but in short the whole pkg was awesome. tx
Comment: Thanks for all the fun postal things. The handmade postcard of Native American pottery is such a great visual for my teaching of the craft. The Embossing Powders Zine is a great referral guide.:>}
Comment: I'm impressed - a hand-carved stamp *and* cancellation mark! I especially like the sunburst cancellation. :)
Response: I am glad you like it. I was nervous about it arriving since I had mistakenly put the faux stamp where the real postage goes - wasn't sure it would make it through the postal systems like that.
Comment: I like your carved stamp "stamp" a lot, and also the stamp you used to cancel it. I just made a really boring one that looks like some machine canceled it :-( Yours made me realize that you can really make it anything you want! Thanks for the card :-)
Response: Thanks! I am glad you liked it and opened up some options for your art. I like seeing other people's art and interpretations too to get ideas and inspiration.
Comment: Thanks so much for the mini post office! I love the box. It makes such a satisfying "snick" when the magnet snaps the lid shut.
I have found lickable adhesive, but I do most of my artistamps with the xyron cuz that adhesive is soooo much better.
I haven't gotten a chance to try my killer stamp yet, but I'm excited to try a cork stamp!
Comment: Amy! Looks like SB likes to partner us up huh? Thanks so much for all the wonderful collage images! It looks like you have a lot of neat magazines! There are several great images that I already have plans for! Thanks so much for sharing your stash dear!! ♥
Comment: Amy! Yes, another swap from you!!! Such a gorgeous dragonflie ATC! Is the grass a stamp you have? Or did you color or paint the ATC? Its so pretty, and I love dragonflies too! Also, thanks so much for all the extras!!! They will be put to good use!! ♥
Response: I am glad you like it. Yes, the grass is a rubber stamp I have. The background colors are from several ink pads and applied "direct to paper".
Comment: I love your goodies that you've send :) I had a fun time opening! Especially, because the blue glitter got open in the envie lol :) Everything was covered with glitter :p I love the bad confetti, glitter, book, body lotion,... Thank you!
Response: oops - sorry about the glitter. I am glad you enjoy the items I sent.
Comment: Thanks AmyMarie for an incredible package of gifts inspired straight from my profile. I have never seen such beautifully wrapped packages and everything was labeled so neatly with different things on the tags along with the number(ex:postage stamp that coordinated with the color of the wrapping paper - I collect postage stamps so this was too fun for me!!) I can't thank you enough for such a thoughtful and sweet swap - you really made my Christmas jolly!
Comment: Thank you so much! This was so much fun and I look forward to getting to know everyone- I can't wait to start the next sign-ups! Thanks for putting thought into your journal-- I will add more love to it.
Comment: Your package was way beyond the swap requirements! Thank you for all the extras! The fun pencil is super cool, it and all the blue stuff means you read my profile, thank you for that. I'd give you 2 Hearts if I could :-)

Comment: Received your box of books today and WOO HOO! You stuffed that box with great reads. I can't wait to start but I'm having trouble deciding which one to start with. Thank you again~Your box rocked!
Comment: Your cards are SO pretty!!! Makes me feel like any that I have made are just not right--I need alot more practice!!! I really appreciate your package and your talant! Thank you!
Response: Thank you for the kind comments. I am a bit rusty and your rating gives me the courage to keep at it. I am sure you are your own worst critic - I read your profile and you create wonderful things.
Comment: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I wish I could give you more than one heart, because you definitely deserve more! I came home after a long weekend to find the package and it brightened my entire week! Thank you SO much!!!!
