Comment: Jenn, I really really love this postcard. I also appreciate the kind words that you wrote me. It's been a rough month adding a child to our home as well as the loss of 2 pets. BUT we're doing well. My husband got me a kitten and (his name is Walter) Walter has been keeping us on our toes. We love him!!
I forgot to add, I LOVE that movie, I still know most of the songs by heart as I had the record when I was growing up! :)
Comment: The PC must have made a detour and arrived yesterday, its weird the vaied travel times of things. Weather here has been great, looks like spring is arriving and I love it. am on postcrossing but do not use I as much as this site. Thanks so much for the PC :)
Comment: Thanks so much for the Badlands postcard. I've been there and the postcard reminded me of that road-trip. I'm a huge National Parks aficionado and love their postcards, too. (I wanted to add that I also have 3 geisha dolls, in glass cases. Love them!)
Comment: You have such a nice writing style. Thank you for the interesting answers to the survey. I've not run across any cards earlier than 1905. I'd love to see a scan of something earlier than that. I'm sure you are not trading those, but maybe there will be something else we can swap soon.
Response: I will look through, and see if I can scan a couple for you to see :)
Comment: Thank you so much for a beautiful crocus postcard! They are one of my favorites! A collection of Alice in Wonderland books with the oldest edition dating back to 1800 - very impressive! I love the book so much - almost every line is a great quote! Have a wonderful summer!
Comment: Dear Jenny, thank you sooooo much for your "The X Files" card! It's so funny situation, 'cause I re-watch this serial (I'm on the 4th season now) And I DO like it since I was a teenager ! Thank you!!
Comment: I love the waterfall with the flowers and nice stickers on the card. Theres a lot of work with postcrossing with a lot of accts i just got 9 cards today from them I have 3 accts. Happy swapping Carolynne
Comment: Funny how sometimes you start seeing same names again and again. I get alot of new too. I like the puffy foot. and NO I haven't not tried vampire merlot, usually merlot is a little to dry for my likes but sounds like this one might be more to my liking on the sweet side.
Comment: Hi: I loved the Teddy Bear PC...too cute. Yes, it's Postcrossings that I've been using for sometime. I like both sites. They both have their benefits. Thanks for the cute embellishments on the card you sent. All the best. Julie
Comment: thanks so much for the wonderful winter view!
i am getting more disenchanted with city life: less & less trees, more & more cars, etc.
& reading a good book called "growing a
farmer" which includes great details of the hard
work & joys of making a living with farmland!
i am certain spring will be a time of
relief & celebration for you & everyone else,
Response: So Glad you liked it ! We are working on our veggie garden now, just finshed a book called Growing Vegatables in Containers, it's really great !
Comment: Ha found you! Wasn't sure which swap I needed to find you for! and don't be jealous, if you had to clean it out this spring, you sure wouldn't be I assure you of that. It's a mess right now. I love the hummer, can't wait till they start coming back around here. We got a little more than a month. We got the sugar stock ready!
Response: Sorry about that - after i dropped the card in the mail box I remembered I was suppossed to put the swap name on ! It's been a long time ! They are such pretty birds, we don't get to see them much here though!
Comment: Thank you sooooooooo much for the wonderful items you sent--it was SOOOO thoughtful of you to send Liam items since he was so ill! He was thrilled to get them! If I could give you 100 hearts for this swap I would!
Response: I am so glad you and he enjoyed them! I hope he is feeling better, and that everything turns out well! Best Wishes!
Comment: hi thanks for the postcard. the stackhouse series is more lighthearted than what I've read from Anne Rice. Still good but diffferent. I also like another vampire series that is set in Mpls. The author's name is Mary Janice Davidson. First book is Undead & Unwed.
Response: Thank so much, I will have to check them out! They soumd like a great read!
Comment: Hi, Jenny..
thanks for the Philly/Brotherly Love Postcard...and all the great stickers!! The apple pie one is really cute!!
If you have Audio Books at your public library, and you are interested in the James Lee Burke books, I highly recommend checking out a book on CD or cassette tape by Burke featuring his detective, Dave Robicheaux, that is narrated by Mark Hammer...He is a phenomenal narrator, and you will feel like you are in New Orleans thanks to all his great character accents, etc...I was addicted when I heard the first one...his books have weird names, but they are really great stories..."Heaven's Prisoners" is a good one to start with, or "Jolie Blon's Bounce".....Let me know if you get ahold of one...these audio books are the absolute best....
Response: Hi There! Thanks so much, lucky for me my mother works for a library, so I am going to ask her to check on them, I will have to let you know once I get ahold of one and read it! Then we can discuss :)
Comment: Nope, still no sign of that artist's name... one day I hope. I have never been camping and now I am not sure I am adventurous enough- but spending quality time with family is always the best. Thank you for the view of Philadelphia postcard - Anna
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card and decaf tea ! I never seen tea's like this in Malaysia so I'm definitely going to enjoy it :). The card just arrive yesterday must be due to the holiday season it got delayed.
Response: Thank You! I am so glad you received it, I was getting worried about it. I am glad you liked the Tea - I feel the same - it's neat to get Tea's from other countries, so many different kinds!
Comment: Hi Jenny, Your ostcard made me gggle as my hubby is an avid fisherman and yours is the first postcard he has been remotely interested in! Must have been the fishy pic on the front! Cheers, Kylie xo
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! ha ha - thats funny - mine doesn't find any of my postcards remotely interesting unless they are things he likes too!
Comment: Thank you for Christmas postcard and good wishes. I love that painting too.... someday I hope to find out who actually painted it. Merry Christmas to you and yours and best wishes for the New Year! Anna
