Comment: Hi Joanne,
Dark places in interesting. I am currently reading the two lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver. I think I saw it while scrolling though Pinterest. Before that I read The Duke and I by Julia Quinn because my friend recommended it. It was cute but I felt like the ending was rushed. I have been feeling good so I've been reading a lot. Thanks for the beautiful stickers and note card. I wish you well.
Comment: Hi Joanne, thank you SO much for the lovely teas... the envelope smelled AMAZING when I opened it! I can't wait to try the pukka detox tea. I also love the mushroom card you sent me, thank you so much! Lauren x
Comment: Thanks for sharing about George Orwell's book 1984. I tried reading it for the first time a few months ago and I really did not like it and did not read it all. I know what you mean about having to read books at high school and study them, have exams on them and it puts you right off. This happened to me when I was made to read Lord of the Flies and Romeo and Juliet. So having this swap has been a good one for me. Happy reading to you.
Comment: Thanks for sharing your card. And thanks for the washi sample. I've been working from home since March. I've only made it into the city a handful of times for Doctor's visits for my daughter and myself.
Comment: Hi Joanne-wow! What a productive weekend. I am glad you got to the market finally. Great news about the first baby of your group. How exciting! Sunday sounded like a great day, desert with a friend. YUM! Limited edition Boba tarts:-). The mint water melon black tea sounds refreshing. That's great that you got to take a walk with your brother after covid lock down being so long. Enjoyed reading about your weekend.
I apologize for the delayed rating. (I have lost two family members in a short period of time). Thank you for your understanding.
Comment: Hi Joanne! Thanks for the share about your relaxing weekend - simetimes we need that to recharge our batteries! How is the book going? Thanks for the nice goodies as well! Wishing you all the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Was a couple days late but that's nothing to ruin a rating over. I've only seen Breakfast Club and Parasite. Oh my god, Parasite was insanely good. My boyfriend & I kind of got into Korean dramas afterwards. He wants me to watch Train to Busan but I gotta draw the line at zombies, lol.
Response: You need to watch Train to Busan! I highly recommend it! I totally forgot about that movie.
Comment: Your handwriting is GORGEOUS. I love it. Thank you so, so much for the beautiful notecard and the super sweet tuck ins, I'm so excited to use the stickers and lil envelopes. Mom's still as stubborn as ever but if she wasn't, I know something's wrong lol. Thank you for checking in!!! <3 Much love!!
Comment: Hi Joanne! Thanks for the share about your weekend - sounds like it was relaxing and you got to enjoy sushi - yippee! Your nc was so cute - thanks for the Happy Mail! Please stay safe! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you so much for the note and the cute little things! I was so excited to get them! I'm reading a book right now that is the sequel to a book I really didn't care for, I just feel obligated. So no recommendations from me, haha. Thank you again!
Comment: Thanks so much for this re-send! I love the sloth card, and cute washi! And your note from mid-february... haha, a little glimpse into normal life: going out to eat, hanging out with friends. Hope you and yours are doing okay. Hugs!
Comment: Hi Joanne! Thanks so much for the cute note card. I'm glad you had a good time in LA. We do get nice weather in Sacramento, but it's a much more seasonal place. Unlike LA, we experience the 4 seasons too and I prefer it that way. LA is ok to visit, but I'd never want to live there. LOL XD -Virginia
Comment: Hi Joanne,
Thank you so much for your lovely card and the teabags. I'm looking forward to trying them.
Your skiing weekend sounds amazing! I've never been skiing and am very jealous of those who get to as it's something I've always wanted to do. I hope you get many more skiing weekends.
Comment: Hi there! Firstly, I love your handwriting so much, it's so cute. ;v; Thank you so much for the beautiful note card - I LOVE sunflowers! School isn't as stressful as work honestly, but eh, I have to do what has to be done! It's tough, but I'm trying to stay strong! Thank you for your concern, you're so sweet. ;v; Also, thank you for the incredibly sweet goodies and the awesome teas! I can't wait to try them out!! Thank you!!!!
Comment: So nice to get mail from you!! The teas looks delicious. My boss just got two puzzles for Valentines Day, she loves doing them too!! Not me so much, I like reading!! Much happiness to you and hope to swap again with you soon!!
Comment: Thank you for the cute giraffe note card. I do not journal daily myself. Some days I write in it and others I just decorate with bits I receive in swaps. I find it fun just to go back and flip through the memories even if they are only in picture form. I highly recommend this type of fun journalling if you want to put something down but don't feel like writing all the time. <3
Comment: I finally got the PC! It was missent to another country but I'm glad it made its way back here =) Like you said, not only the recipient but also anyone who handled the PC would be able to share the beautiful view on the PC. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for your note! How inspirational! I'm glad you are in a job you like now! Something similar happened to me. I had to leave my last position without having another position secured. Now I absolutely love my 'new' job and hate that I had to waste so much time in that old job! Good luck to you in 2020.
Comment: Hi Joannee!
Yes, it has been a while!! You have sent me a beautiful card. I dont make goals, I just hope I can better myself daily. (dont always succeed) The farm animal stickers are cute!! Thank you for the memo sheets and paper. Hope to swap again soon!!. Thanks again!!
Comment: Thank you so much Joanne for the sweet card! I have heard Silent Patient is a really good book, so I have to read it! Thanks for the suggestion. By the way the little donuts and sweets stickers are my favorite!❤️
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Christmas card! I can’t stand people who treat others that way. People who have a superiority complex are impossible to communicate with. Good for you in how you handled her though! Happy New Year!
Comment: Thank you for the card! I really love it <3 I wish you a belated happy birthday. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you get plenty of rest during the weekend. Lots of love from me<3 <3 <3 I hope you have a wonderful day!
Comment: What an ADORABLE note card!! The weather here in GA is fluctuating between cold and almost near 70 degrees - nothing unexpected here lol. Thank you so, so much for the adorable panda and unicorn stickers, they're so perfect!!
Comment: One of my local radio stations has started playing Christmas songs and I love it! I'm very ready for the Christmas season! Thanks for the holiday washi samples - I totally needed them! Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you! Halloween is a pretty new thing here, people have only done proper parties recently, so I missed this year sadly. But I did buy lots of sale candy afterwards, hahah. Hope you're doing well!
Comment: Joanne, what an adorable notecard, I love the ice cream cone! I agree, I'd like to enjoy 2019 a bit longer because time seems to be passing too fast lately. Holiday lights are shining around the neighborhood already! I hope you enjoy the holidays. --RJ
Comment: Hi Joanne! Although you said you did not do much over the weekend, you did! I have not seen the new Terminator movie. I will see it, eventually. I have actually met Michael Biehn and his wife, Jennifer. They are beautiful people, inside and out. You said you gathered up clothes and shoes to return.. do you do one of those rental sites? I stream my t.v., so we watch a lot of Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. Thank you for writing such a nice note. And also for the extra bits and playing card. I hope this weekend was just as nice for you :-)
Comment: Very cute note card! I write things on lists and calendars but I wish I could transfer over to a planner but I like seeing things disappearing instead of being crossed off. I guess I could write in pencil and erase. Any ideas?
Comment: A month later but it's finally here, maybe the other two went into a twilight zone lol
Response: I have sent out this swap this weekend you reached out to me. I never flake on my swaps. Recently, my partners sent a resend and I received BOTH the original and resend on the same day PLUS the original took a month to get here.
Comment: Thank you so much for the cute extras! I haven't seen either of the new IT movies yet! ;o; But I've been meaning to! Instead I'm binging a french horror on Netflix called Marianne. If you like horror, you might like it too!
Comment: Hi Joanne! Thank you very much for the great note and goodies you sent! I love the bookmarks and stickers. Hope you get to go apple picking soon, that sounds wonderful! :) Take care and thanks again.
Comment: Thank you for the teas, I’ve really gone on a ginger kick lately so these are perfect. I’ve been enjoying these swaps too, lots of different teas I would never have got the chance to try otherwise. As for book recommendations, I’ve just started reading The Alice Network and so far it seems pretty good, sort of historical spy fiction. 😊
Comment: Hello Jojo! Thanks for the teas and the letter. No I don't mind you including the swap in your letter. It was a double surprise for me and I really appreciated it. I will be replying your letter soon. I am hoping to have a lasting friendship with you. 🙂
Comment: Thank you Joanne for your lovely letter and extras that you sent me. I hope you get to travel around the world as it is an amazing experience and it will change you. You sound like you have a good life in NYC, enjoy your family and friends and the relationships you have with them. Happy Friendship day everyday. Blessings, Karen.
Comment: Hi Joanne,
I was so excited to see my special envelope from you! (Did u make it?) It was delightful opening it and finding special treats selected just for me! Cute & tiny 💕💕💕 You hit it outa the park!
Thank you, and thanks for the swap idea! I loved creating mine and am looking very forward to hearing from my partner.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card Joanne. I loved the paper snowflakes too, is that something pretty traditional in North America? We don’t really see them here, but then I guess it never really snows here either 😆. Have a great week.
Comment: Thanks so much for the awesome little goodies! I'm not usually a tea drinker but I'm excited to try this one! The little image memos were very cool to! I havent watched the new spider man yet but it's on my to do list!
Comment: Thanks so much for the PC of lady Liberty! it came while we were away, and we just picked up our mail today. thanks also for the good wishes. I am healing nicely and, best of all, have a lot less pain! Happy swapping!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard. I've been to NYC once on vacation. If I go again I'd like to visit the World Trade Center Memorial, though I doubt I'd be able to convince anyone to go with me to such a somber place.
Response: Why not? A lot of people visit the WTC memorial.
Comment: Ah, hello again! Did you end up seeing Toy Story 4? I want to watch it also, but all of my friends who have seen it said it's not as good as the first two (granted, Disney didn't make it for *us*). I didn't end up seeing a movie at the film festival :( I hope I don't regret that. Until next time!
Response: Yes I watched it! I thought it was a cute movie.. TRASHHHH!! LOL
Comment: Thanks for the postcard from NYC. We are watching Stranger Things over from the beginning right now to get ready for the new season. I definitely agree that season 1 was way better than season 2! I hope season 3 can recapture that excitement!
Response: Did you watch the new season yet? I just finished it.
Comment: Such a coincidence: your envelope arrived 1 day after the day we picked up our daughter at the airport. She traveled 3,5 weeks in Japan and South Korea and recognized all the Busan and Seoul highlights.
And she is grateful for the green tea you included.
Response: That is such a coincidence! Hopefully she enjoyed Korea like I did! I cannot wait to make my way to Japan ! I am glad she liked the green tea!
Comment: I love this card.... I actually bought marimekko cards when I was in Finland a few years ago....AND I used this exact card to ALTER for a swap and so funny it went to FINLAND......so it's nice to have it in my collection also.....the PO was not nice to the written side..... It must have gotten caught in the ROLLERS and it curled and ripped it uP..... THANKS for a great card!!! plans for summer.....woo hoo...... going to BARBADOS for about 10 DAYS.....so very very excited about that..... and you what are your plans....???/
Response: Yikes! I am starting to notice that a lot of my postcards are arriving with the sides getting caught in the rollers. I am glad I was able to add the postcard back to your collection! I am actually heading to Savannah next week!
Comment: Love the pc of New York City. One day I will get there!!!! Loved the kitty stickers too. Thank u. I love sushi! I've never skied. I would rather sightsee then beach too. My parents used to take me and my sibs to the beach for a week and sit in sand for hours. I was miserable. I hated being in ocean and being outside but when they would take us to the shops I was happy ! To this day I loathe going to beach. You wouldn't like Georgia it's hot and humid and right now almost 100°!!! Take care have a great day
Response: Thank you for responding to each one of my random facts! There funny thing is I am going to Georgia in two weeks! Thanks for the heads up!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful watercolor card, and for sharing such interesting things about yourself. I can relate to some, like color green & love love turtles! Terrified of heights. Like, you could not PAY me to come within 100 yards of the Grand Canyon. Well, I mean, for a million bucks, I'd go to 99 yards, but that's about it. Awesome swap, thanks!
Comment: Ugh, I'm very sorry I thought I had rated you before I left town.
I really enjoyed reading your letter sounds like a great time as I enjoy trying different kinds of food, although I'm also kind of a picky eater and I'm hesitant on some kinds. I do not watch Game of Thrones, although I keep telling myself that one of these days I'm going to do a power watch and do it. I did have a great weekend, which continue into a great week. I hope your week also resulted in a great week too.
Response: I am glad you received my card and enjoyed reading about my weekend! I guess I am the type to try random food out.
Comment: Thank you Joannen for the great postcard of the Arc de Triomphe :) It reminded me of the time when I was living in Paris. Thank you for all the cute stickers that you included, they were all so adorable :D! Have a great weekend and happy swapping!
Response: I am so glad you liked the postcard! I searched my collection to find a paris theme postcard just for you!
Comment: Joanne! I LOVE the card you sent. I was actually supposed to be up in your neck of the woods a couple weeks ago but ended up skipping out for personal reasons so this card has great timing. We've been going though rotating weeks of rain and then sunshine with possible severe storms this weekend. Enjoy the sunshine and Happy Swapping!
Response: I am so glad you loved the card I sent! I hope you enjoy the sunshine too!
Comment: . How wonderful to live in such an exciting city. I have visited twice. There is so much to do and see!! Thanks for the great card. Grand Central Station is such an iconic place.
Response: New York can be a great place to live at times. Coming from a New Yorker who grew up here, I feel like I have barely done and seen New York as much as a tourist. Sometimes, I want to be a tourist in my own city and explore the great things to do.
Comment: You sound like such a wonderful person! Absolutely enjoyed your letter! I wish I actually had time to strike up a friendship but so much has changed in the last couple of weeks and time is nothing something that’s on my side. I am tucking your letter away in hopes of finding time to reply. Enjoy your time away from work and I hope you find the best possible place to work/enjoy! ♥️Debbie, Iowa USA
Response: I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed my letter Debbie! I understand that we are all to busy but if you ever want to write back, please do! I would love to hear about your life. I realized sometimes it is easier to tell people you do not know things than close family and friends.
Comment: Loved what you had to say about New York!. I did not get the postcard in my hands, but I was able to read it on my USPS informed delivery digest! No fault of yours, just the PO being the PO! Finally got it on 5/14!!
