Comment: Thank you for the fabulous collection of poetry you bestowed on me as the component of this swap. First of all, I love the cover you created, featuring all the poets that were teatured inside the Poetry Journal. You featured some poets that I am fond of myself like Maya Angelou, Allen Ginsbeg. At the same time, you introduced me to some new poets I am not familiar with like--Louise Gluck. I read several poems about cats, my favorite pet. I really love the collection you put together for me and will be returnig to it and reading some poems over and over. Thank you again for a great collection. Poetry is a favorite of miine and I am so glad that several people are hosting poetry swaps. Hopefully we might meet up again for some of the other poetry swaps. Until then, Happy Swapping!!!!
Response: I am sooooo glad you liked it! If you are ever interested in a private poetry-themed swap I would be very willing! I am a poet myself, and adore poetry. :) many hugs.
Comment: A great journal. I love the topic of relaxation, your entries (I've read a couple of them so far), the way it's decorated on the outside and the fact that there's space for me to make my own notes as well.
Comment: What a Beautiful Journal! You put a lot of work & thought into it! I especially love that cover page and am delighted to see you are a fan of Anne Sexton. I also appreciate the extras! You really did a great job!
Response: you are very welcome rita. i know i had to keep you waiting due to my all my problems, and i tried my best to make up for it. plus, i love poetry journals, i would want to recieve something great, so i tried to make something you could keep for a very long time.
and btw anne sexton is brilliant! i also put some of my poems in the middle. i'd love to know what you think about them :)
Comment: Thanks for the great mermaid ATC. I especially like the 3D bubbles. And thanks for the extras. I used to be a tournament bridge player so the tallies you sent brought back memories. Thanks again.
Comment: Thanks - I love Bob Dylan:) It was due Feb. 1st but postmarked Feb 8th. You didn't contact me about being late until the 6th and it was marked sent Feb. 3rd. Please just let me know sooner if you will be late, that's all I ask.
Response: i am so sorry, and thank you for being so kind and understanding. :) i had posted a long paragraph on my profile as to my move and the weather, which is why a few swaps went out a few days late. i love bob dylan too. he's music is like poetry.
Comment: What a beautiful, beautiful book. Thank you!!!!
Response: you are very welcome. i hope you enjoy it. and i forgot to tell you that i put several of my own poems in there, look for Stacy Lynn Mar. I worked so hard on the journal, I wanted to make sure you received something worthwhile. Many hugs.
Comment: Thank you so much for those lovely ATCs and the extra special poetry you selected. It was such a special surprise that added to my day!
Response: i am glad you like how I chose to lay the cards out. I was worried they would be boring, but I wanted so much to display each poet at the core of who they really were, thus a famous quote. Hugs and I will be sending that journal of poetry out to you soon! :)
Comment: Thank you for the adorable card with the kids on a SLED (not sleigh). It was sent (postmarked) on Dec. 21st not the 14th. And you marked it sent on Dec. 7th. You didn't contact me that you would be late and a letter explaining yourself was not included either, thus the 3 rating.
Jan. 8: Received your re-send - Thanks;) And since you chose to resend the correct theme and in a timely manner I moved your rating up to a 5! Peace to you in the new year:)
Response: Thank you so much. I appreciate your kindess and understanding. :) I hope your new year brings you many wonderful things as well.
Comment: Thanks for the list - I'd love to read what you wrote on that one site, but couldn't find it there, if you send me a link I'd love to see what you got published there!
Response: Hey! So glad you liked the sites. Below are my poetry publications on All Things GIrl:
There was also another from Winter 2006 but I can't find 2006 in the archives :(
Hope you like the ones you read. :)
