Comment: Thanks so much for the card, Shana. It wasn't super ugly or even one that I would have "disliked". But I think our host warned us that this was a likely outcome. Ugly is in the eye of the beholder, no?!? My adult daughter picked up the mail from the box and laughed at your postage stamp!!! That was possibly the best part of the card. Thanks so much.
Response: "Manneke Pis" is a famous statue in Brussels. There are 3 peeing statues: manneke pis (male), Jeanneke pis ( woman) and zinneke (dog). And i'm happy that they made a poststamp of it.
Comment: Hi Shana! Thank you so much for the beautiful Christmas card.. Love the Santa! Did you make the card? If so, great job! Lovely silver envelope and nice stamps! Merry Christmas to you & your family. Also, Happy New Year! Take care, Judy
Comment: Thank you for the very nice stamps. The large postage stamp on your envelope is spectacular! I've never seen current postage that big. Also I really like the unusual patterned stamps you sent - they will find their way onto my mail art soon. Such a nice swap!
Comment: I received your swap today - WOW LOVE ENVELOPE AND STAMP! And then to open envelope and find more stamps ... well tickle me pink!!!!
Thank you so much for putting this huge smile on my face and making me one happy girl.
Comment: Thanks for the letter ! It was really cool. I'm a huge fan of old tiles with patterns on it. Your job sounds really hard but so rewarding ! I admire you ! I hope you get to keep it if you like it! Have a great year!
Comment: Hoi Shana! Dank-je-wel voor je gezellige envelop! En met de thee waar ik zo 'desperate' naar op zoek ben (de Clipper organic infusion 'Strawberry & Elderflower'!) Een heerlijke zomer! Lieve groet van Ellen
Comment: I loved your letter! Your parent's caravan sounds lovely. I hope your garden plans work out, and your chickens aren't too grumpy! I'd really like to get chickens, but I live in an apartment so I don't have anywhere to keep them. Thanks for the great letter and illustrations :D
Comment: Thank you for the Easter card. I look forward to using it in the future. UPDATE: I received the cute Easter post card with children. I'm not sure why this card took 2 months to travel. The address is correct. I'm glad your first card arrived.
Response: Im happy jou recieved it to. The post system is not always perfect.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely tea! Definitely unique bags that I haven't seen around where I live :)
I noticed there was also supposed to be a profile based surprise, I got 2 pieces of paper which seem shaped like bookmarks, but bookmarks are on my dislike list. Still they're good enough to pass on to other swaps so it's fine.
Comment: I loved your illustrations. They made me happy and sad (I am sorry to hear about your dog). They remind me of an author Ally Brosh, who does a blog called "Hyperbole and a half." Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful vintage postcard of the Holy Family, adorable embroidery-style postage, and your kind message, Shana :) I hope that you and your loved ones also have a warm, wonderful Christmas and New Year's celebrations ♥
Comment: Wonderful swap! Loved the decorated envelope, and the tiny stamp enclosure is so cute, too. Thanks for the stamps from Belgium - I have very few of them, so they are a very welcome addition to my collection.
Comment: I especially love this card -- the little mouse at the bottom of the picture is so cute! I have not been in Belgium for many, many years, but I have very fond memories of home made mayonnaise and pommes frites in Antwerp! Thanks, and happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you so much! It's true I don't drink the tea but my sister and niece do so I like to have them when they come. The Christmas card is so cute. I hope you get moved easily and are blessed in your new home.
