Comment: Your parcel was waiting for me at my parents' and it really made me happy to open it and find the goodies you got me. :) Thank you so much for the book, Shakespeare is great and I'm sure I'll enjoy this particular edition - my second favourite is the American roadtrip map - how did you know I'd DIE for being able to go on a roadtrip through the US? Thanks a bunch, that's step 1 completed. :D
Comment: Krista! At first I'd like to say, your handwriting is beautiful. You got me jealous, very elegant and feminin. Second, finally I found someone who is close to my age! :) I'd love to write back, but please be patient I have a lot of swaps til the 10th of August. Hopefully I have time afterwards! Maybe I will send a copy of your letter with it, just so you can remember what you wrote :). Thank you so much! Have fun at your mom's next week, give your sisters a hug from me <3
Response: Aww thanks!!! I am at the airport now, on my way home. I have soo many swaps and letters to catch up on, so don't worry about rushing your reply!!! :)
Comment: Thank you for the great Colorado pc! I'm with you, I like things cooler! This week it's been so hot and humid here on pa! I could also see where the beach would loose its novelty after awhile! Keep cool!
Comment: Hey! Thank you so much for the pc's. They are perfect, I really enjoy vintage pc's. Oh I hear ya about being sick of the fireworks....I'm tired of the rain... =/ Hopefully it will be over before the entire tri-city area is under water...fingers crossed. Thank you again!
Comment: Hi Krista! Loved your vintage postcard! I grew up not terribly far from Wareham, MA, and I lived in North Carolina for about five years (Raleigh/Durham area). Are you close to Wilmington? I love that area!
Response: I live about an hour and a half from Wilmington, more near Jacksonville. I love it there too!
Comment: Thanks for the great PC's and the lovely card with your nice note. I really appreciate the prayers -- I am sure all the people who have been praying for me have made a big difference in the way things have turned out. I will "graduate" from the radiation treatments next week, and I am signed up to do swimming lessons with our youngest granddaughter, age 1. And yes, it is really hot in AZ, but our summer rains are starting, so that will help a lot. Thanks again, and happy swapping!
Response: That is great to hear, and swimming lessons will be so fun! Happy Swapping to you as well :)
Comment: Hi Krista,
Thank-you for the lovely sunset postcard I received today, 3/7/2013, from you. Australia is a lucky country and you must aim to visit it one day in the future, come visit. I am sure Nth Carolina is beautiful.
Comment: Thanks for sharing! Great list. I had actually heard of all those. :) I have to say, Annabel Lee always gives me the creeps. It stems from a rather odd middle school experience. The Walrus and the Carpenter has been one of my favorites since I was little! That and The Jabberwocky.
Comment: Krista, my mother would buy us children's poetry books for Christmas & the Walrus & The Carpenter was a particular favorite. Joyce Kilmer's "Trees" hangs in my house. He was one of many poets cut short in his prime in WWI.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! :) I don't like living in Finland that much, and dream of moving abroad, maybe Ireland, but of Finnish cities I like this one the best. So far I have lived in 5 different (Finnish) cities in my lifetime, and we are probably moving to the 6th one in January... will know for sure in November. I'm not that thrilled about the idea (we'd move to the capital), but it'd be just temporary so maybe I could take it haha!
Comment: Hi. Thanks so much for the most adorable post card. The picture that you drew was so cute. My boys are super sweet to our cat Pixie. My little guy adores her. He can't say her name yet but calls her Tissy! It is so cute!
Comment: Its been raining constantly in Brooklyn. Sudden downpours and all that jazz. I got stuck in one on the way to class wearing only a pair of shorts and a thin t-shit. I had to phone one of my friends to come rescue me with a sweatshirt!
Comment: Thank you so much for the bookmarks! And I LOVE your lists - you have such a good taste in books. I also love HP, Infernal Devices, Into the Wild and The Fault in Our Stars, awesome! Oh, but you should really read A Game of Thrones! :) Love from Germany!
Response: Aww, I'm glad you liked it!! Thank you :) And yes, everyone keeps telling me I should read that, so I definitely will!
