Comment: Thank you for the absolutely GORGEOUS cat card -- I love it! Also thoroughly enjoyed reading your note about the furries; they sound adorable <3 I have a skittish calico as well (although she turned into quite a diva along the years) and a tortie that sounds like your orange tabby as she follows us around :-) Stay safe!
Comment: Thanks for the great sketch, stickers and your nice note.
We are doing well here. I recently found a sample of my hair, from when I had it cut from shoulder length to a 'regular' haircut. I couldn't believe (or remember) how dark it was. At least I still hav some. My father and brother were both bald at thirty.
Comment: Hi Cathy thank you for the Runaway Bride postcard. I like that you made your own to match the book of your favorite author. I think I must have read this one also.Sounds familiar. lol I read so many :) Happy Spring swapping be safe be loved be healthy
Comment: Thanks for the post card. Very pretty and it stood out to me. Very cute with beautiful colors. It is one of those post cards when I look at it, it makes me want to smile. I hope you get to go on your trip next year.
Comment: Thank you so much for both of the nice note cards and for the bookmark with quarantine reflection questions! I really enjoyed this mail from you! I hope you and your family are well and stay healthy!
Comment: I so love this card with your beautiful photos!! They're all so lovely. I've been paying very special attention to my bird feeders lately. I just put up one for hummingbirds and am hoping to see one. Your photos are great, I especially love the one hanging upside down on the suet feeder! What kind of bird is that? I'm doing well here. Hope y'all are healthy and safe, too. :):):) Thanks!
Response: Glad you liked the birdie card bb! The upside down birdie is a Nuthatch. They are so funny and very cute with a chirp that sounds like they're laughing. Hope you see some hummingbirds on your feeder! All the best and stay safe and healthy! Cathy/Writercat
Comment: Thank you for your letter and stickers. Unfortunately it was a rainy day so the marker you used to write was damaged near the end of the letter (not your fault! Just a tip maybe not to use markers on your letters. Pens tend to be easier to read after being wet :))
Other than that. Thank you 😊
Response: Sorry to hear the markers smeared in the rain. Good tip. I do love markers but yes, not as good as pen to endure getting wet.
Comment: Thanks for your great list. Number 12 made me laugh a bit (needing glasses and not being able to see the board). I went through the same thing. No one in my family ever wore glasses so no one believed me when I said I needed them. 🙂
Response: Thanks for the rating. So sorry to hear no one believed you about needing glasses. :( That must have been so difficult as if it wasn't hard enough!
Comment: I love my postcard - it's screams ephemera and evokes the type of artwork I'm drawn to looking at. Thank you so much for reading my profile and I'm glad we agree on appreciating people for what they do to put a smile on our faces! xx
Comment: A nice Canadian "Print Your Own" postcard. A lovely Anne of Green Gables scene. I just started watching Anne with an E on Netflix. Well done Writercat. Thank you.
Response: Glad you liked it. I do enjoy your swaps very much. I was doing Postcrossing before and got annoyed that so many people don't like hand made or print your own type postcards. I think they're wonderful and so creative! Bring it on, I say!
I don't like the Anne series that much as I am a traditionalist and don't like them tampering with such a good story. I think I watched one episode and that was enough. The writer is a Canadian woman who also wrote Breaking Bad which I didn't watch but my sons did and it looked so brutal and graphic. Not a fan of too much violence and gore.
Comment: You captured a beautiful winter moment. I like how the dove is looking into the camera. The brown-red colours on the dove are intriguing. I had to look it up since around here we have the Common Ground Dove, mostly grey. I wonder, based on the blue around the eye, if this is a White-Winged Dove. Thanks for sharing your photography with me.
Comment: Thank you for the card & stickers. I love when cards have matching envelopes. They just don't do that much anymore. Great childhood memory! Have a Happy Birthday, very Merry Christmas & a wonderful 2020!
Comment: Thanks for the note, leaf, and cute bag of stickers. Yes, our Autumn is different than your area of Canada. We have been having an unusually warm Autumn. The trees are barely starting to change colors.
Comment: Thank you for your cards and the extras. I have the same set of kitty postcards!
You will love the stationery from them! I just got mine for October and I almost like it too much to use it haha. Thank you for mentioning me as your referral <3.
Response: That's fun about the kitty cards. I joined the stationery club you mentioned and said you referred me. Sounds great!
Comment: I hope spring finds you soon! I love the red of the tulips on this card, it's so lush. My daffodils were extra happy this spring, I think because of the longer winter we had. Have a good one and thanks! :):):)
Response: Thanks for writing and the rating. Lucky you with your daffodils. I look forward to seeing some eventually.
Comment: Hello Cathy, thank you very much for your beautiful postcard. It made me very happy. In our region, spring already arrived, we had 25 degrees last weekend, but next nights might be frosty again.
Greetings from Germany!
Response: Thanks for writing! Glad you got it. Happy Spring! We're having freezing rain and snow today. It's not over yet. Sigh!
Comment: What a cute dog card!! I love cats too...2 of ours are snugglers, the 3rd will snuggle on her terms and not for long. It's like she gets all cozy then remembers she hates humans haha! Thank you for the great card! :)
