Comment: Thanks for the great cards and the tea! Can't wait to try it! As you probably know, it's cold here now, (November 15), with a high of 32F. I live about 5 miles north of Minneapolis. I would love to do a snack swap. You can name what you would like sent and choose what you send me.
It doesn't snow much here. Only a couple of days out of the year and it's always a surprise as to when it will snow. Three years ago it snowed around this time, last year it didn't snow until March. I hope your doggies don't mind the cold. I hope you have a great holiday season!
Comment: These are really wonderful cards - thank you so much! I don't know if this is the first one you sent or the resend -- it is dated Oct 29 so I'm assuming it is the resend. Thanks so much for staying on top of this!
Comment: How thoughtful of you to read my profile and send two amazing cards! Like them so much!! Like the tree postage stamp the great “e” card and especially that German language paper! I have a lot of French some from Asia and almost no German to use in my swaps... thanks so much
Comment: Hi Eileen! Thanks for the great selection of PCs, & for the extra ones. I like all of them, but the cows were especially funny. I also like your elephant stationery. Take care & stay safe. Have fun! :)
Comment: Thanks for forwarding the traveling postcards. I enjoyed reading your nice note about Michigan and Halloween. The tea looks great!☕️ About the National Park postal stamp: I really like it, and I’m currently reading a mystery with the setting at Carlsbad Caverns NP😁.
Comment: Thanks for the cards! I love Rehoboth Beach. All the Delaware beaches really! When I learned to sew in Home Ec, we practiced with lined notebook paper. No thread in the machine, just punching holes along the lines of the paper!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! I love it and it is completely true! 😂 I have seen Scream, Beetlejuice, Hocus Pocus, and Silence of the Lambs. Have you seen Monster Squad? It is one of my fav Halloween movies from when I younger. I def need to check some of those out. Thank you.🎃
Comment: Thank you for the awesome cards and extra postcards! I especially love the dragon card, and the llama postcard cracked me up. :) Thank you, also, for resending. The mail is all kinds of messed up lately. I've had to resend a couple swaps, too. Hope you have a great day!
Comment: Thank you for the 7 & 8 of clubs. I enjoy creating franken decks as well:-). Also, thank you for your kind words re: my mother. Sorry to hear about your father. If you are still looking for an Ace and 2 of clubs, message me and let me know. Have a good day.
Comment: Thanks for the playing cards. It has been fun to see the variety of card decks. My husband is originally from Cleveland. So many Ohio connections everywhere - even when I was traveling in Peru and China, I met people from Ohio.
Comment: Thanks for the Alice postcard! I have not seen any like this one! Thanks! I like the Belgian Mailinois dog stamp. My niece has one and it is soooo smart! I see you're in Germany - thanks for your service. We are safe and well here - we live in the country - Germany reminds me a lot of Wisconsin.
Comment: Wooow what a huge box of snacks! Thank you so very much, I already ate the rainbow candy with friends and am looking forward to eating the rest soon too <3 You truly made my day once again with the sweets you chose!
Comment: Thanks! I will send this on in the next round! You should come to Alaska! I was watching a dozen orca pairs off my sunroom this morning. I see sea otters, seals and sea lions every day; now with their babes in tow! Stay safe and healthy! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thank you for the kitty PCs. I love the two cats with their tails making the heart - my husband thought it was cute too! We are doing okay - hubby goes to work almost everyday so he gets out...I try to take daily walks, so I get some fresh air and see people walking or driving by - makes me feel less alone and isolated. Take care and enjoy those books of yours!
Comment: Hello and thank you for the postcards - they are a great addition to my stash. =) In other news, I just sent an envelope off to you a few days ago as you are my partner for the most recent round of the Adventures of the Traveling Postcards. Best wishes!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful letter. You're right, the stationary was pretty but I imagine hard to find cute pens to write on! Your answers were interesting. My questions were definitely hard to answer in some parts too! This one was a lot of fun.
Comment: Grüezi Eileen!
Thank you for the amazing tea selection...I cannot wait to try them all. I am really glad that you share with me this American tea that friend send to you. It is quite hard to find them in Europe. For this you definitely deserve a ❤️
Comment: Thank you for sharing some of your postcards, and making a genuine effort to fit them to my profile-likes!!! This is what I consider a thoughtful and kind swap! The bear fishing for his lunch is a great postcard! My fave is the abandoned pickup truck!
Comment: Dear Eileen, thank you so much for your lovely package! You filled everything up to the rim, and I can`t wait to try all of the goodies! When I opened it, I just munched on the Reese`s heart. I always wanted to try it, but were`t sure if I would like it, but it was the best decision. I love it!
Thank you so much again, I wish I could give you more than one heart. Kind regards, and lots of love, Julia
Comment: Thanks so much for the great cards & extras. They're all delightful but I especially like the sweet little bird, the Hubble Space Telescope & of course the wonderful Kliban card you found for me. Puurfect! Hope you enjoy your stay in Germany.
Comment: Hello Eileen! Love the postcards - the horse is beautiful! Do you like Em's new album? I think it's his best one in a while! I was so happy! Also, I like your envelope! Did you make it?
Response: Was the envelope a brown one? I bought a few packages of envelopes when I was living in Japan. They had the best paper / stationary. I haven't listened to the new album yet, I don't think. I've been on an audiobook kick. But now I feel like I need to!
Comment: Thank you so much Eileen!!! I love both of the postcards! My sister is inlove with giraffe so I'll give it to her. And I love the seashell and flower card. Makes me want to go to the beach soon! Take Care!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely package. The Washi is beautiful and I'm drinking the lovely coffee as I type. Although I must admit my kiddies pinched the haribo.... Thankfully with three packets they got one each. Xxx
Comment: Thank you very much Eileen for your lovely snacks. The cookies are nice. But I can find the sour candies and the rockets here in Ireland. Most Irish live in the USA so it is easy to find American snacks. Thank you anyhow. Such a big box for such a small amount, I had to laugh❤️❤️❤️ lots of love and thank you for the lovely note and candies
Comment: Thank you for the nice mail! Haven't tasted the chocolate yet but it looks very good and I am very curious about these teas :)
I am more and less frequently hosting Europe swaps so feel free to join in!
Comment: Hi, thank you I received your package today. I appreciate you sending such a nice full envelope but to be honest I was a little disappointed avout the amount of items passed along you didn't want/ like because the "swap was to send things you would like to receive" & there were quite a few things I can't pass along ie. teacher's / kid's stickers etc.
I was excited to receive from you as I too had lived in Germany when my partner was posted there many years ago and I felt a kindred spirit & was very curious to see was craft/ paper items were available there. I am still new to swapping and while I have sent items across the globe I have mainly received only from the US.
Take care, 🙂
Response: I'm sorry you don't like what I sent. I was under the impression that it was a destash. Things we cannot use any longer. I'm sorry you didnt' like mine.
Comment: Thank you for sharing with me and I get it I feel like I am alone all the time and than I have to remember I have family and friends that love me no matter what. If you ever want to be pen pals and write to me you can I do the same thing walk around the house and than normally I get so annoyed and start writing that's the only way I sit still and doing all my pocket letters and flip-books.
Comment: Thanks for the Alamo postcard. Nice to "meet' someone with common interests. So many people laughed at me about my dislike of pastels when I found out 15 years ago that I was having a girl. Neither one of my girls are pastel fans either. Happy swapping.
Comment: Eileen, Thanks so much for the laugh! I have a weenie dog so it was extra funny! The stickers were cool! I will put them to good use while sending out my Halloween greetings! Have a great day!
Comment: Thank you very much for your beautiful postcard!(Sorry, it already arrived this Friday, but I was travelling) It's very interesting, thank you I love it! :) And thanks for the stamp, I like this global forever stamp with the moon a lot and I was lucky, this time I got it without a postmark on it, so I can see the stamp perfectly :D
Comment: I need to go to Alaska because every card I have showing an Alaskan landscape is just beautiful.. like this card! When you described Fall to me, it just made me reminisce on memories too! I love that crisp air!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! I actually want to read the Dark Tower series, I just haven't yet (story of my life, lmao) I'm currently reading the Dresden Files. I'm on book 4 of 20+. I'm slacking. lol.
Response: I've heard those are good, too! I haven't gotten around to reading that series though, mostly because I don't know much about it. I should look into it for after this series! :)
