Comment: Thank you for all the washi samples. I am like you in that I have more than I will ever use. But I love getting more. Of the ones you sent I only had 1 and that was the pink Scotch Expressions washi.
Comment: Hey Mary! Thanks so much for your gorgeous notecard! I adored the snail mail stamp you used on the back of the envelope! It sounds like you had a nice weekend! Also, I hope you have a wonderful week!
Comment: What a beautiful pocket letter and wonderful selection of teas! You picked out some of my most favourite flavours so I know I will enjoy every single one of them! =D
I will write back as soon as I can =D
Comment: Thank you so much for the profile hello! Yes ma'am I do agree that the coloring is so relaxing and we both should make more time for it as I think I'm just collecting them right now! lol Hugs jaimie
Comment: Hello Mary, thank you so much for the fantastic washi and extra's you send, loved those panda's and birds. I know that it's hard to write with a fountainpen, but I can't do without my pen now and love that I can change the writing color. I wish you a great new year!!
Comment: Hi Mary, i loved your Christmas card and stickers. Thank you! I hope someday i can taste those sweets and snacks from USA and you from Brazil. The culturally adopted Christmas decoration in Brazil is the same as the USA, it's beautiful. But it never made sense, it's summer now, very hot hahaha...
Comment: Hi Mary! Beautiful tulips & purple flowers! Not sure what they are either. Thank you for reading my profile. My neighbor has a yellow rose bush which I enjoy so much. It is right beside our driveway and I would stop & smell the roses almost everyday. I'd like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas & Happy 2019! Take care ~ Judy
Response: Merry Christmas to you! I like roses best when they smell good.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely samples. I never tried writing using fountain pen, maybe I will try it in the future. We do not have any Thanksgiving celebration here. Hope you're having great time 😊
Response: If you are interested, the Platinum Preppy is a good fountain pen to start with, It only costs a few dollars, but it still writes pretty well.
Comment: Thanks for the postcard - sounds like a great weekend! I don't bowl much, but it is fun! There's a cool bowling alley right up the road from me that also has pool tables and a bar/restaurant. Some nights they have live music and I love watching the older couples on the dance floor. There's one man probably in his 80s who dances so fluidly it's like he doesn't have any bones, it's awesome! Thanks again :)
Comment: Hi Mary thank you so much for the samples. I thought is was a tough challenge too to picked the 3 samples of each. Just love the glitter/blue one and I just loved the dotted orange one. Have a great weekend!
Comment: Dear Marhod, I love the cheap Jinhao fountain pens from China on eBay. They are wonderful. Be sure to buy ink cartridges too. So excited by the NASA Mars landing. I watched every minute on TV. Fantastic!
Comment: Thank you very much for the postcard. I also like to watch sports, but mainly Formula 1 and World Cup soccer matches. I am also interested in American Football, but can't watch too much of it here. So enjoy the Football season and I hope one of your fave teams will win. ;-)
Comment: Thanks for the post card showing the soleil leopard. It cheered up a dreich day.
I watch rugger ( Rugby Football), I spent my childhood in Rugby. It was on Rugby School Close that school boy William Webb Ellis " with a fine disregard for the rules of football, picked up the ball ànd ran". It's not a game for the faint hearted. What they do in the scrum doesn't bare thinking about!
Comment: Thanks for the cute dog pc! I bet you are so happy about the Cowboys!! I don't particularly enjoy any sports, but the Cowboys play every Thanksgiving and one of my uncles is a HUGE fan, so he was very excited when they won :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the goodies. The planner stickers will come in handy.
I decorate my bullet journal with washi, stickers, stencils & I colour pictures and put them in. I use skinny washi for dividing lines on my weekly pages.
Looking forward to trying the tea.
Comment: Thank you for such a nice swap! How funny that you like Bluegrass as well! It's not often that I meet someone that likes it! Also, thank you for the adorable stickers! The cat ones made me laugh! :)
Comment: thank you, i love these illustrated cards:)). We do have hot weather since the end of May , we would say there was no spring , the temperatures got worst now end of July - around 36-38C and we hardly ever have rain these last years
Comment: Thank you so much for the great animals, loved the fox and panda so much (my girls wanted the cats). So for all 3 of us some washi to use :-) I have a garden, but no "green fingers" Just love violets and petunias, so the are in my garden in big pots. Have a great weekend!
Comment: Thanks for the nice tapes. I like the Scotch brand too. :). Our heat wave is finally breaking today (after like 2 weeks of 90s!). It so nice to see temps in 80s/70s for the 10-day outlook! Us and our cat are so relieved! :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely card and note! The Washi samples are wonderful and I only had one like purple polka dot one. I wish we had a Michael’s store here . Nearest is 1.5 hours driving one way.
Comment: Sounds like you are pretty excited about washi. How do you store them? I've been using the four tiered pants hangers. I sometimes use my washi in my artwork, usually along the spine or page edges as reinforcement. You can check out one of my art books ("spread your wings") on my blog:
https://www.betweenassignments.blogspot.com, where I added a little washi embellishment.
Comment: Thank you very much for the beautiful selection of washi that you sent me, I loved them ... by the way, I buy almost all my washi on Aliexpress, I usually get nice washi (occasionally the pictures deceive hahaha), greetings from Chile!
Comment: WOW! Thankyou! Love the washi. It is wonderful, isn’t it? I use it in my bullet journal if I have an empty space or whatever. Love it!! I use the thin ones for dividers too like you said!
I’ve never been to the Tsnk Museum. My son in law took my grandson to see the flamethrower too. Apparently everybody loved it!
I have a few “precious” washi that are too good to use. Makes no sense!!
Comment: Thanks Mary for all those awesome dots in all the yummy colors!! It was hard to pick from my stash too. It's warm and sunny here too, hasn't rain for weeks now here. Hope you have a great summer!!
Comment: Sorry for the late rating, I just found this PC in on one of my son's gym bags (I'm not even going to ask him how it got there, or how often he cleans it out because I really don't want to know!). I really do love the mushroom PC and am so glad this series is running again! Thanks again!
Response: No worries! I'm sorry I didn't catch this myself sooner. I hope it didn't smell too bad! :-)
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful samples! I occasionally order from Amazon when I am looking for something specific, but mostly I get it from Hobby Lobby when it is 50% off. I especially love it when I find coordinating papers and other stuff to go with it!💙
Comment: Thanks for the washi tape! I usually buy washi tape in some craft supplies stores, but also sometimes online. I am thinking about buying some washi from etsy shops because there are some really pretty ones. But they are quite expensive, so I haven't decided yet.
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing with me in this Bible study! I am always thankful for my wonderful friends. Not only the ones I know in person but all the fantastic friends I have made through writing and sharing swaps with all of you! Thanks for your friendship!
Comment: Hi Mary! Thank you for the great notecard. We have a chick, too! I'm currently living at my dad's house, helping him take care of his baby hyacinth macaw. The baby had to be fed every hour, around the clock, Now he's up to every 4 hours. It's still exhausting, though!
Comment: Thanks for the washi samples! I ended up with a lot of my washi tapes the same way, I bought a lot of sets when I first started buying tapes! Now I'm a lot more picky, but I still have buyers remorse that I have to live with, haha.
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful planner stickers! I love them! Actually I love just about everything they have in Michael's. LOL!
Thank you so much for sharing your answers with me!
Comment: Thank you very much for your diary! I took it with me on a weekend trip to Prague and really enjoyed having an extra friend on the road. It was a pleasure reading about your month! All the best and good luck to your partner in his new job! ps - lazy mornings in bed watching craft videos are the best!! xx
Response: Yay! I'm so glad you got it and I'm glad you liked it. I would love to take a weekend trip to Prague. : )
Comment: I loved reading about your weekend! Having a real rabbit jump out during an Easter egg hunt is so amazing! I'm sure that'll be a story for years to come. Best wishes for the week ahead!
P.S. I can't believe I've finally encountered someone else who loves cephalopods like I do! ♪
Response: I just bought a metal octopus at Hobby Lobby. It's awesome! : ) Cephalopods rule!
Comment: I really enjoyed your brightly colored and fun letter. My mom would dig up flowers and break off twigs. I surely wouldn't have the courage to do that, but she had the most exotic and beautiful plants you've ever seen. The flower stickers are great, thank you
Comment: Hello Mary, I truly enjoyed reading about your busy Saturday ... Hope Gus is back to his SPRY self —- I like his thinking ... young at heart! Enjoy your week. Perhaps we will cross paths again. 🤞🏾
Comment: Thank you for your beautiful pocket letter. The colors went great together. The goodies were real fun as well. Your pineapples and jars came out great. Thank you for sharing them with me. I am excited to use them in my scrapbooks. You asked me about journals. I keep a prayer journal for myself. I also keep three journals, one for each of my kids. It is a planner style that I add pictures too and little notes for each day. I love to decorate those. I hope you have fun at your group meet up. Happy Swapping!
Comment: Thanks for the share about your weekend - I would love to visit an AC Moore - I have heard of them but don't think they are in IL or MO (at least not near me) - boo! We all have problems and washi is a fun one to have! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: I'm so sorry for the late rating! I just picked this up at the post office Saturday! THANK you so much for the package! I love that coloring book that you sent to me! I'll be writing you back sometime this week! Thank you thank you thank you just isn't enough!!! 100 HEARTS
Response: You are very welcome. It was the least I could do for all you do for Swap-bot!
Comment: Your list pad letter is interesting and pretty. Having been with swap bot quite a while, I've learned how to keep track of swaps and I'd be pleased to share some of my system with you. I've heard fountain pens have improved over the years, but, I'm not ready to give them another try, yet. Be looking for a letter from me.
Comment: a ha hah ahahaha...This is a WEIRD postcard. If my child drew this it would be so "cute" ha ha ha. The x where it's bottom should be, the nipples on the bumps, the 3 legs....I can't stop laughing! thank you for this postcard.
Comment: Thank you for the recipes. I look forward to trying both the One Pot Spinach & Artichoke Pasta and the Thai Salad especially.
Thank you also for the personal note. This was my first swap; it's nice to have found such a friendly community.
Comment: Yes, Ender's Game is amazing!! My husband and son also share this love. I really enjoyed Speaker for the Dead and Xenocide, the two other books in that set, and do think you should read them! I haven't read anything else by OSC though. Thank you for the fantastic list!
Comment: Thanks! That's a great list. My little girl really likes the bookmark.
Funny you mention, Joe Hill. I hung out with him one weekend at World Horror Con when my husband was a panelist. We were just in Austin this weekend and spent a moment reminiscing about that weekend.
Response: OH MY GOODNESS!!! That is amazing! What a wonderful experience. Thanks for sharing. (So jealous)
Comment: Thank you for all the awesome washi! These are all one's that I do not have in my collection. I especially like the one with roses, they look almost vintage. I apologize for taking so long to rate. Bob suffered a heart attack and ended up needing a quadruple bypass. These past few weeks have been the scariest of my life but we have him home now are he is slowly recovering.
Response: I’m so sorry to hear that! I wish Bob a speedy recovery and I wish you peace and happiness. Take care.
Comment: I can't believe you've only started making flip books!! The flip book you sent me is amazing!!! I love it, thank you!! Thanks for all the goodies and for sending me stuff profile based!! The pink owls you sent me are my favourite!!
Yes I love watching seven pink owls youtube channel, she's so good!! You should check out Vicky Papaioannou (also on youtube) She's amazing, mostly cards and art journals but she's brilliant! Very inspiring!
Comment: Thank u! Your card was full of your writing which made my heart warm. 'Lean and clean' is good motto, suitable for me as well =D I'd love to lose some weights and clean my messy room but... my table is full of stickers and cards now LOL. Welcome to swap bot and hope you have a fun
Comment: Omg Mary!!! THe flip book you sent me is SO beautiful and perfect! Everything you sent was super cute and I love it all! If I could give you a 10++++ rating I would! 😊😊😊â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ I enjoyed your card - you’re so sweet! I felt the same way as you - but you are talented and made such a great flip book. Thank you so much! This made my day! Xoxoxo
Response: I'm so glad you like it. That makes me so happy. It was so much fun to do. And I can't believe how fast it arrived! : )
Comment: Hi Mary, thank you for the cute little Valentine and stickers. You are the only one who took the time to write a persona note, so you get a heart for that along. I'm the one who sent you the Van Gogh Valentine...perhaps our envelopes crossed in the mail ;-) Thank you for your thoughtfulness!
Response: And thank you again for my van Gogh valentine. It blew me away! : )
Comment: Very cute wash thank you! I have a really hard time finding craft supplies on island. When I do find them they are rather expensive. I miss Joanne's and Hobby Lobby something fierce!! Thank you such a great note!
Comment: Thank you! You know I thought the same thing to myself when I was looking for Valentines! Where are the mini-envies? I ended up getting a book of punch-out vintage ones but even then the envelopes were a craft project in and of themselves, and not enough for everyone. Oh well I guess the days of cute little envelopes are done. Still I enjoyed the adorable Valentine you sent! ðŸ’
Comment: Thank you! I love the giraffe postcard!!! I also really enjoy football. However, being a Steelers fan & not liking the Patriots at all, the super bowl this year isn't holding much appeal. Lol.
Comment: I got your postcard today. Thank you for sending. I love tigers so I will probably reuse this card in my future projects. I would say it definitely counts as a Christmas gift if you bought it for yourself. I do the same every year. :)
Comment: Well... I have to admit it will be very hard on all my swap partners to put together as satisfying package as you have done for me!! Thank you SO VERY MUCH! Everything inside is just marvelous and amazing and I LOVE IT!! I wish I cound grant you more than one heart, but unfortunately I cannot :( The one must be enough, but I would like all the people to know, that it is just fantastic to be your swap partner!! Thank you, Mary! <3 PS. I hope, my package will reach you shortly (as I have sent it earlier than you and you still have not got it as I assume :() - please keep track if it arrives!
Response: Yay! I'm so glad you got my package! And I'm glad you like it. Thanks for helping me get started on swap-bot. And I'll let you know as I get your package. : )
