Comment: 4/14/14 - I've thought long and hard about this after receiving the ATCs you've sent, and I'm sorry, but I feel I must rate you a 3. You were sending me 2 ATCs: one of the 8th Doctor, and one of a weeping angel (which fans of the show will recognize as being rather fearsome and scary looking, unless their hands are over their face). The ATC of the doctor has what looks like perhaps a picture of the Third Doctor, and a paper decoration with the number 8 on it. It is certainly not the Eighth Doctor. The ATC of the angel looks like a snow angel, or Christmas angel - singing peacefully with hands folded, beneath a large snowflake. I try hard to give people the benefit of the doubt, particularly where artistic ability is concerned, but in this case, I don't feel you even tried to accurately capture the correct subjects of the ATCs. I will note that you did include some paper cutouts of Doctor Who-related characters, and that was sweet of you, but it does not negate the disappointment of receiving ATCs that do not depict what they should. UPDATED 5/20/14 - Thank you for resending ATCs depicting the correct subject.

Comment: Thank you for agreeing to send a re-send for this swap; Overall, I can see that you put thought and effort into resending this swap, and as you stated in your note, I'm sure you have a much better idea of what a lucky parcel is now. A couple words of advise I would give for future swaps would be to always ask if you are unclear of the requirements of the swap, aren't sure what to send your partner based on their profile if the swap is a profile based swap, and if you decide to send clothing, its definitely best to ask your partner their size so that you don't waste money on something that they cannot wear; I will try to find a use for the shirt. I have fun using my Cricut machine. Each cartridge has so many different die cuts to cut out and you can make them any size and shapes. Doesn't take much time to cut them out. I but the cartridges on-line or on sale. Lots of Fun.

Yes, I've made an incredible number of ATCs (and other artsy pieces), but since I retired from work, there's little else required of me! And I love doing it, so it's a win-win. Comment: Michelle--I love your ATC with just the right amount of lace in the border and in the lace "house within a house within a house . . . ." I also truly enjoyed your letter--too few of us take time for doing that--email or other electronic messages just are not the same thing! I am sorry that you are in so much pain but am so relieved that doctor's were able to save you through the surgery. You must be a very strong person to have weathered such adversity. You can be quite proud of yourself! My replaced knee is healing nicely and rehab is nearly finished. It has been challenging and very painful at the beginning, but it really worked wonders. I am doing the left knee in late August I think so i can be in the pool with my grandchildren this summer. That will get me through rehab in time for the holiday season barring any unexpected complications! Thanks so much for the ATC and letter! I will try to send you a letter in return!
