Comment: This is a fantastic flip book! I love the colors (of course)and all the wonderful images and goodies inside. Very nicely done and a super addition to my mermaid collection! Thanks for sharing!
Response: Absolutely! I'm so glad you like it. A few of my "experiments" I was doing didn't quite work out, so I didn't get to include it on your envelope (encasing it all in fish netting), but I'm not going to give up on the idea. =P I was very happy to make it for you! =)
Comment: I've been a bit confused at which round we are on @[email protected] I will add another mermaid to this card! :D
Response: I don't think the rounds count as much as just continuing to pass along a postcard if it's unfinished. haha. I had one postcard that I finished and sent back, but then I also received a postcard another swap where I was the first. Some have existing ones from past swaps. It all works out in the end as long as the person with your postcard continues to join swaps to at least send yours off. =P Thanks for the heart!!! <3 You rock.
Comment: She is so beautiful! And I love the paper you wrote on. Where did you get it? So cute!
Response: An old college roommate of mine sent me a few mermaidy goodies for my birthday this past March. The memo notepad was one of them. I love them!!! I can't seem to find it online to buy more, though. The artist is Lorelay Bove, though, I believe. She has a very beautiful style!! Love it!! After I got that notepad, I bought one of her art prints! I bet you can figure out which one. haha >>>
Comment: Your sweet mermaid doll arrived today. She's beautifully made, very nice work. The baggie of extras is a nice assortment of cute. I especially like the owl stickers. Thank you so much for a wonderful swap package. ♥
Response: Yay! You are very welcome! I had a lot of fun putting everything together for you! <3
Comment: Hi Laura Nice to hear from a fellow educator. Wow, I would love to teach art!!At the small parochial school, they let me teach handwriting and I used Books called Draw, Write Now. So they did their cursive handwritng lesson and then they got to draw a picture after the handwriting was finished. It was lots of fun teaching them this and I think they enjoyed it also. Thanks for the pass and paste and thanks for the lovely extras.
Response: Oh very fun!! And you are very welcome!! <3 Teaching cursive would be fun! Eventually, I need to teach calligraphy! I'm easing in to the job right now. Calligraphy will come soon! =P Hopefully this upcoming school year! I'm glad you got my postcard ok! I can't wait to see what you draw!!! =D
Comment: Yea , it came today!! :) It is by far the coolest mermaid atc that I have ever received. Well worth the wait, I loved it. Thank you so much for a great swap!! Also in my craf troom I hung a pair of handlebars that we could not bend back into shape after one of my crashes on my bike; lol so your license plate in your room... ahhhhh I love other motorcycle gals. LOL Happy Swapping until we swap again.
Response: Hooray!! Aww, well thank you! I had a lot of fun making it! I really enjoy painting ATCs! =D <3 And heck yeah to biker chicks! rofl ;)
Comment: She is adorable! I love the flag you pick, because the colors remind me of the ocean! Thank you!
Response: You are very welcome! I'm glad you like her! I picked the Greek flag, too, because Greek mythology has lots of water-related myths and was one of the reasons I got into mermaids to begin with when I was little. =D
Comment: Love her! The tail is better the way you did it than how the instructions say. Plus I like how you added the yellow line in her body. Thank you!!
Response: Yeah I didn't quite like the tails in the instructions. Not flowy and mermaidy enough for my taste. haha. So glad you like her!! Thank you for bringing these to my attention! I would have never known of them without you!! <3
Comment: OH My Goodness!!! What a lovely job you did with this swap! Your beautifully decorated poem is so perfect for me. It is going to look so pretty displayed.I really love the techniques you used on it.The teas you choose for me look seriously yummy and I LOVED how you made the sweet little tea bag holders to send them in. Such a wonderful touch. Thank you so much for making it such a happy, happy mail day!!!
Response: You are so very welcome! I had a lot of fun putting it together for you! =D I'm so glad you liked it!
Comment: Thanks for this cool mermaid page. I also really love the shells/net combo very clever! =) Are you supposed to look at the page through the green clear or take it off? Either way I think it looks very spiffy. Sorry you are having problems with the post office though, that is rotten!
Response: You take off the green clear wrapper. =P I just had that to help protect it in the mail, but if you would like to add it to your book, by all means. teehee. =P
Yeah... problems with the post office is lovely... especially if you have people who don't believe you have problems with the post office like that... and I feel like crap. haha -_-.
I'm glad this one got through to you ok!! I'll be using that post office in the future. Thanks for the heart as well!!! <3
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Mermaid Journal Page! I hope this never happens to you again. It must have been very time consumming to make 24.
Response: Yeah it really was... I tried to get them out quickly... but my job was really just sucking up any of my spare time I might have had before. =( I'm glad it got to you ok! And I'm glad you like it! I'm going to be holding off from package swaps for a while... 'cause that was too stressful and really made me sad...
Comment: This was a beautiful page! I love the subtle details! I can only imagine what the first one looked like! definately worth the wait!
Response: Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked the page!! I'm sorry the first ones were lost! I wish I took a picture of them!! Blah!! But at least these ones got to everyone ok!! Thank you so much for the heart and for all of your patience with the whole situation!!! <3
Comment: What a lovely page. I love the seaweed and shiny rays of light. Also how the mermaid is sitting looking out of her underwater cave. I am so, so sorry you had such a hard time with the PO and that all your effort and materials were lost. I really feel for you as it was hard enough to make 12 of these, I cannot even imagine the stress of making 24!!! Beautiful work. I hope the others will show up eventually too because your passion is too good to waste on dumb PO workers, shoot!
Response: Well thank you so much! Yeah I hope the others do... but I have a feeling they won't. I've had other swaps lost by them. How hard is it? Other places seem to get it just fine... whatever. -_-
But I'm glad this one got to you ok. And thank you so much for your patience! I really tried to get the replacements out as soon as possible. Thank you so much for the heart, too!! I really appreciate it!! <3
Comment: Very late swap, but happy to finally recieve. Thanks!
Response: Yeah. If I had known the first pages were going to be lost... I would have started the replacement pages BEFORE my work days increased... -_-. Thank you for the five. I hope you like the page!!
Comment: Thank you!! I love the the whole package and will use everything you sent. I appreciate having the mailing labels and images as our printer is out of ink. ackk! Comment: Awesome! I love this matchbox and contents! When you said you might have trouble with orange, you must have lied (hehehe) because this is just PERFECT. Thankyou so much <3

Comment: WOW what a suprise! Thank you for the great mermaid. What a nifty way of making her arms rotate and all the tails were so fancy and fun! I love her green sparkly hair. You do have a way with glitter. Thank you very much!

The only of the movies I liked was Bender's Game. =( I didn't like the last Futurama movie really. But we'll see how the new episodes go. I'm hopeful. =P Thank you for the heart!!! =D
Comment: Wow, you fit even more writing on a PC than I do, and that's saying something! My boyfriend's family is from small-town CO, too, (and he went to CU in Boulder) but he says you're on the other side of the state; they're in La Junta. Thanks so much for the note (and for visiting my Etsy shop!)
