We had to put our cat down this past year and he was the best cat ever! We have very fond memories of him. He was black :) We just bought two mini schnauzers. You can see pics on my blog link. Comment: Barb, these pages tickled my fancy so much! Orange is one of my favorite colors and that Owl is so adorable! New Mexico and "natural green", the explanations of the backgrounds is cute the way you try to do that to the theme as well. I don't celebrate holidays, b/c of my religion, but the merry red is nice. I like how you put the music in the background and the fun peppermint (one of my fav. candies) ribbon is cool. Have a great day! *Edit* No worries! Actually, that reminded me I needed to change my profile to reflect that. Plus it really is just that one little sticker that says the Merry X-mas, so it is totally not a big deal. Wasn't trying to be a snot, more of a typing out my thinking. = )

She is Nefertiti, wife of the pharoah Akhnaten, who may have ruled for a short time before Tutankamen took the throne. I have always thought her bust is one of the most beautiful pieces of art in the world! Thanks a bunch!

Comment: WOW.. Just... WOW! You went above and beyond for this swap and made me feel like it was my birthday and Christmas all rolled into one. The books and reading list / challenge have inspired me almost as much as all the gorgeous ribbons, beads, and ATC blanks! Thank you for helping me get at least a little more organized too by sending such a prety tin to keep them in. A million thank yous for sending such an amazing package. You deserve hearts, flowers, stars, and diamonds, but since I can only give a heart, you definitley get one of those! Thank you again!

I think I won't now sign up for any more swaps before I have gone through all those puzzles! (Love love love them! Why do they expect me to work at work instead of solving puzzles?) The fabrics are absolutely beautifulthe one with Christmas ornaments made me to catch my breath. Also thank you for sendingso many shades of green and blue PC (that is, if I mix them with white and each other).
Response: I am so glad that you liked all that was in the package. I am happy about the fabric--the one with the ornaments is from an artist by the name of Laurel Burch. She does incredible fabrics. This swap made me stretch myself when it came to some colors and that was fun for me.

The details are wonderful, I love the little gold pins you used. Even if the idea was to make them not noticable I love the little sparkles they bring to the whole thing. Comment: I loved the desert wildlife card! My son and I had fun looking at all the different animals. We've never been to the Southwest, but would love to take a road trip out there someday. We have squirrels here, but the rest of the animals we've only seen in the zoo. Thanks for the great card.
