Comment: Adrian, I love the postcard that isn't a postcard! I've heard of the Biltmore Estate from different friends who have visited it, but have never had a chance to go there myself. It's definitely on my bucket list though! I appreciate the stamps you chose to send it with as well - very appropriate! I wondered if Cedric is the name of the dog on the label; do you know? We used to have a big St. Bernard that lived in our neighborhood and it would come and visit when the kids were outside playing. It's name was Fred; Fred would let them climb all over him for a while and then, when he was tired of the game, he would get up, shake himself off, and go on his way. Your card reminded me of Fred, and it was a very nice memory! Thank you so much for sending such a nice card!!!
Response: The Biltmore Estate is definitely worth a visit. My family really enjoys our season passes. It's a great place to enjoy anytime. Yes, Cedric was George Vanderbilt's dog. I'm glad you enjoyed the card. I appreciate your kind words!
Comment: Thank you very much for the great map postcard ! I'm also a postcrossing member and have a few penpals. For swap bot I made a excel file with all the swap I sent and receive with the picture so I keep organized :)
Comment: Thank you for the awesome postcard, the art on with the El train is beautiful! I love Chicago and wanted to visit it since I was a kid, watching a tv show called "Early Edition". Also, I would like to try the Chicago hot dog for sure haha
Response: I'm glad you liked the card. I actually have one from the same series with a Chicago hot dog on it!
Comment: Thanks for the Trader Joe’s packaging card! I’ve bought those snacks for my Grandson:) I do most all of my grocery shopping at TJs. We had rain on and off for a couple of weeks, mostly cloudy. I love it!!! Today it is warm and sunny but it’s supposed to cool down again. It’s not always sunny here. We get lots of marine layer days. I don’t like our hot Summers. But I do like to swim so I tolerate the heat so I can swim at night:) Happy Swapping ❤️ PS I just rec’d a second card from you! Thanks! Love the message, Ale label and Elvis stamp!
Response: Swimming at night! How marvelous! Enjoy yourself.... Thanks for the kind rating and your patience.
Comment: I like historic places. I think the Biltmore House is a beautiful and interesting place. You can see it on the photograph (although it is of poor quality). I love to visit places like that :) Thank you for the postcard!
Response: Yes! It is a beautiful and interesting place. Too bad they printed an ugly postcard! Thanks for you rating.
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing your Bullet Journal with me! I really, really loved looking at your layouts and spreads, especially because you have such different ones than I'm accustomed to seeing. And don't feel bad - my phone constantly autocorrects my name! :D Thanks again for sharing! xoxo
Response: I appreciate your kind words. You made me feel good about what I shared, thanks!
Comment: Thanks you so much for the book log and the bookmarks! Also, the envelope you used was so cool! I’ve been wanting to read the Miss Peregrines books for a while! I need to get my hands on them soon I think! Happy Reading! :)
Comment: :) So nice to see reading/mail people in different places! Thanks for the book page... I actually got this series as a xmas gift a year ago! I've not read it yet, but it does look interesting. Thanks too for the extras and the beautiful enve.
Comment: The Emerald Mile sounds very interesting. It is obviously an American book but we may have it at the local library. Conservation is very important no matter what part of the world you live in. Thanks for sharing.
Comment: Hi Adrian, I've seen Sierra Nevada beers around here, but never the Narwhal version. My SIL lives near Asheville; we toured the brewery a few years ago - cool place! I loved the gardens in the back.
Comment: Adrian, I absolutely adore the postcard you sent! The smiling moose with the lights on his antlers cracks me up every time I look at it! I love this kind of stuff - so unexpected and whimsical! I agree with you about recycling things to cut down on the waste, especially this time of year. And I wouldn't worry too much about returning an upcycled card to the original sender: chances are that if they liked it enough to buy it and send it out to friends, they'll love receiving it too! Lol! Thanks for a beautiful swap!! PS - you have very nice penmanship!!!
