Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful ATC and the extras! I love the detail the lace creates in the gelli print :) I have not used lace before, but I will the next time I make prints. I really like the watercolor mandala blanks and am looking forward to tangling on them <3 Thank you so much for a wonderful envie full of goodies!!
Response: I found that my home-made gelatin plate caught the lace details better than the gelli plate. The paper used also makes a tremendous difference - plain cardstock and printing paper (arches cover, bfk rives) make almost photo-realistic impressions.
Comment: This is a beauty! I so love the scent of peonies! I tried ordering some yellow ones, but they wouldn't send them to me! :( Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Yellow ones are different - I have two tree peonies that are yellow: High Noon and Age of Gold. What zone are you in? I'm Z6 but soon to be Z5 (moving after retirement, but already planting the garden up there). ~~~ Looked you up - you're warmer than I'll be. Perhaps we can make an arrangement when AoG gets to dividing size.
Comment: Swap-Bot is messing up today and won't let me give you a heart. :-( This is one of the most unusual and fabulous collab cards I've ever seen! YAY.. finally was able to add the heart you deserve!
Response: Lol, thanks for letting me know - otherwise, I'd wonder...and more thanks for the compliment - that means more than hearts!
Comment: Thanks for this wonderful PC! This is an inspiring use for aluminum foil! It held up going through the mail very well. We are just starting to get buds on the trees. No pussy willows yet. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thanks for this great zine! It is going to be fun to work on! I love the orange and the brown combo! Thanks too for the sparkly bits and the homemade envie! No flowers here yet. We did see 2 hawks yesterday, which is extremely rare! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Hawks are pretty common here - I once got one near my bird feeder. They perch differently than other birds - more vertically than horizontally. Crocus are in full swing here now!
Comment: Thanks for the pretty postcard, which I'm looking forward to finishing. I always enjoy working on an "under the sea" theme. I am, indeed, on Long Island (Suffolk County). Crazy winter weather!
Comment: Your ATC arrived today and I think it's lovely. Sadly it didn't completely survive the mailing process but I think I can probably repair it so don't worry about sending another -- I'll see what I can do with a bit of glue! It's just a straightforward single crack. I've never used embossing powder but very much like the effects you got -- well done and thanks for joining in the swap.
Response: I'm sorry it didn't make it through the mail undamaged. Thank you.
Comment: Wow I love ,love these butterflies. They are so beautifully zentangled . You have done an excellent job with them and I am so thrilled to be the recipiant. Thanks so much also thanks for the extra. elflady
Comment: Guess what has find its way to my mailbox, the twinchie you've send in december together with the other one you've finished and send home to me. Thanks I will send it through in the next round.
Comment: Kia ora. Thank you so much for the beautiful ATC. Love it. Goes well with the poem. I love roses... My favs. I have had roses in the past but they were so time consuming. Now we have a climbing Rose we can't get rid of. 😳. Twice over the last 30 odd years we have tried. Even had a professional Gardener try... Not to be. It's back in flower at the moment. Not that I don't love the flowers, it just attacks us when we try to do any other gardening around it as we don't always see the price runners 😄
Thank you again for the beautiful rose ATC.
Response: Thanks Ann! My yard is too wet and shady for most roses - except for the horrible wild multiflora which have grappling hooks for climbing trees - they grow roots where the branches touch the ground (like raspberries) and grow branches from their roots and reseed like crazy. To top it off, what smell they have is not nice. But I remember the roses of my childhood - so sweet.
Comment: This is Beautiful! Thanks for writing everything down so that I can learn through this experience too. I love all the detail that you put into this frog. I will treasure this always and it is taking a prime space in my living room so I can show him off. Thank you so much!
Response: Thank you - sending to you is very rewarding.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely note. Sorry to hear of your health issues and salary contract troubles. I know how frustrating both can be. You must work in a school system--at least it sounds like the issues we had for years. Contract freezes and no pay increase for years and then a miniscule one that doesn't even cover the increased cost of medical insurance. I hope this all gets better soon for us all!
Comment: Thanks for this one! I will pass it on in the next round. Thanks too for the home made PC. I have made ink from cherries. It sparkled, with the salt in it, after it dried. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card - I love the nautilus shell on it! Idaho does have only fresh water fish (but we have sturgeon, which look kinda cool). I've never seen that crackle finish before, it looks fantastic! Thanks so much,
Comment: This one is so spectacular! It just glows! Thanks so much! We have had a cool, gloomy summer. Sept tried to make up for it, but now that we are in Oct, it is gloomy and rainy again. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Hi Cecily . . . Your tangle pages are gorgeous! I'm not sure what the International stamp that you included in the envelope is for since this is a USA only swap and postage to Alaska is the same as to anywhere else in the USA, including Puerto Rico. If the envelope is 1 oz. or less, and it's being mailed to any US state or territory, then the cost is $0.50.
Response: I know, but the stamp was passed to me and I didn't feel that I should keep it.There was some confusion with the zines going from USA to International or vice versa. I'm in both so I try to keep them straight sending out, but sometimes you might have extra of one and none of the other. Thanks for the kind words.
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful tangle! I love the envie and the extras too! This will be fun to work on and to send forward! Andrea is going to love it when she gets it back! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Great collage background...I will work on this and pass it along! Thank you for the ATC sleeved pretty rub-on decals (I may have gotten the decals mixed up with another sender, but I know you sent the sleeves, and I thank you! Our summer has also been hot, humid and stormy! I love summer, but I’m looking forward to Fall!
Comment: The idea is to make a pretty card. I tried to do the "make it look like a whole card", but people just didn't get the concept, I guess. I love the way you did, though! So, these swaps are just to make a pretty card, whatever that looks like to you. Thank you for a great addition to this one.
Comment: ♥ Both of your envelopes arrived in today's post. Because I opened the smaller one 1st I was mystified but figured it out when I got to the large one. Thanks for all the fabulous stuff. The butterflies just blew me away. Looking forward to swapping with you again.
Comment: Wow! What a beautiful sun pc! I love it! Sadly, fireflies don't live in AZ. I think they don't cross the Mississippi River or something. But I remember them fondly from living in TN when I was little. We'd also visit relatives in IL and catch them with our cousins. Such amazing little creatures!
Comment: Delightful.... I love your presentation too! The mini w/washi so cute. The feather, well I fell in love with it, reminds me of my son Making his fishing lewers..Very nice. I remember the East coast summers, born in Boston .... miss it! Happy summer!!
Comment: Lovely card.Qite creative . not quite sure what I am going to do to finish the card. I seem to be getting a lot to finish and then start a new one. Hopefully mine will turn up one day finished.
Have a lovely day elflady
Comment: Thank you so much for the postcards. They are wonderful. I wish I could draw like that. Know what you mean about fuschia. I found it really hard to get my head around the colour. Sounds easy but it's such an interesting colour. The challenge was terrific. Thank you again. Hugs Ann
Comment: I love this sort of inspiration-- the particular way you put colors and textures and text together is something I've not seen in person, and I'm going to have fun playing with it. Thanks, and hooray for creative collaboration!
Response: Thanks! It's fun when we can play off each other.
Comment: Hi Cecily.. Very interesting Ocean ATC. Thank you for the directios! I also love the dictionary defintion background. Thanks for the extras, too! Happy Day
Response: You're welcome. It wasn't a dictionary, but someone had kindly sent me some old book pages about fishes. I hadn't used any of them up until now because they were so interesting to read. I'm glad you liked it.
Comment: Wow, what a beautifully colored postcard! I hadn't heard of using a highlighter as a base color, and now I'd like to try it sometime. My pencils are plain ol' Crayola - ha! I plan to upgrade soon, so I appreciate your "review".
Response: Thanks! I don't know if "Feela" is that much of an upgrade, but I got 152 different colors.
Comment: Wow, it's so beautiful! I love your design and all the fine details you added. I'm sure it took you many hours to make this for me. I appreciate you explaining what you used, as I am not an artist and I always wonder what has been used. Thank you for making me such a lovely piece of art!
Comment: Cecily, I wish I could give you ten stars! Thank you for this incredible swap. It was such a treat to unwrap your flip book and slowly page through and discover all of its flips. You have such an amazing art style! The tuck ins were lovely as well. Thank you!
Comment: Wow...I was so amazed at this creative creature! Both real dogs thought it was their toy and I had to put it out of reach! I love how used those springy legs! It looks like you had so much fun creating him....he really is cool...thank you so much!
Response: I'm glad you like him. He was a lot of fun to make. Thank you.
Comment: What an awesome ATC! This is by far one of the coolest I have ever received, I love all the detail and your note explaining how it came to be was perfect. Thanks for such an awesome card, I will treasure it!
Comment: Hello again, thanks for your ATC's for this swap. I love the swirley look you gave it. And those little gems you made with that watercolour are beautifull. I haven't heard of that paint (I think, maybe I did but know it under another name) And about the sleeves, I don't mind I always take them out of the sleeves and put them in those 9 pockets sleeves (the ones you also use pocket letters) in my ATC map.
Comment: I am blown away! This is a fantastic piece of artwork. She is absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing her with me. Also, thanks for the hair tip. I am going to give that a try. She will forever be in my art space. She is a great inspiration and I will cherish her. I will have to give her a name. Any suggestions?
Response: I'm so pleased you like her! The only name that occurs to me probably isn't appropriate as it is the user name of someone here who I don't know - Blue-haired Mary - but feel free to call her what you please. Was it clear how to assemble? There is a red dot on the base that indicates the front.
Comment: What a great water coloured greeting of spring! Thanks so much for the snowdrops. Last week I saw the first ones of the year in a garden. I will put your card on my desk to shorten the waiting of spring.
Comment: Thanks for this beautiful ATC! Send out those Cards with updates!!! Your friends and family will love to receive them! Thanks too for sharing how you made this one and the extras! I love it! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thanks for not 1 but 2 ATC's I like them both, but I agree the one with the red backgound speaks more. Probably because of the greater contrast in colors. I just love those kind of tangles, I like to draw little gardens and landscapes using tangles and those organic tangles like this one are perfect for that. Thank you for your beautifull swap :)
Response: I think you're right about the contrast. Thank you for the feedback.
Comment: Thanks a lot for the nice heart-postcard, Cecily! I love it a lot!!! I think I have had another one earlier from you! It is a pity these series have ended, because I like the heart-theme and misses about the half of it. But another theme can be nice too! Until an other swap! :-D
Comment: Love the "inside info" about Angry Orchard - can you actually visit the orchard? I sent a hard cider chunk o' cardboard out to my swap partner too (McKenzie's). Wishing you all the best in 2018 and hope you're surviving this cold weather ok too! (I'm so over it already.)
Comment: Received both cards!! Loved the paper you used... it helped create the fish scale texture. Would love to know the list of mediums you used to draw the fish... the shiny, the not as shiny, etc!
Response: Thank you! The paper was cotton cold press watercolor paper and the media was wax crayon and water color - the goldfish had some mica watercolor "Yasutomo Pearlescent Watercolor" and the haddock had Daniel Smith Duotone green. It's a lot of fun to experiment with (which is why you got two fish and I still have a couple left over).
Comment: Wow! What a great job you did on the bear, I liked that you colored his eyes. And love how you shaded the different areas, It made it really stand out, Thanks for sharing your special art. I just love it. I was lucky that I also recd. the Eagle you did, These I will probably frame. Thank you again. bearnbabs
Response: Thanks, that's very kind of you. Btw, when I was cleaning up my work area, I found the note I meant to include - I mailed that out separately.
Comment: Thank you, Cecily, for the lovely magpie journal! SO much lovely art included and new techniques for me. I was especially fond of the 'Alone' poem and have added it to my favorites. I didn't understand the Crow poem! Loved the foiled page a LOT and am going to try that and love the way you included everyday 'stuff' (water bills ;+) into the art on each page. You are a talented mixed-media artist--something I aspire to be as well. I really appreciate all the hard work that went into the journal ;+)
Response: I'm so pleased you liked it. Thank you so my for the feedback - that's so important!
Comment: Thank you for the card! I'll try to figure out something good to add :) And yeah, it's getting darker and darker here.. I have seen northern lights yes! But more in the northern Finland, here in Helsinki there is too much light pollution for that :)
Comment: This ATC is so beautiful, I can't believe it! How did you get so much detail on such a small card? What size pen did you use? Thank you so much.
Response: The smallest was Copic MultiLiner 0.05 - the paper is hot press watercolor paper. That grabs the ink better than regular card stock, I think. Sometimes the smaller pens won't write on some papers. I'm glad you like it!
Comment: Your zentangle turned out fantastic! I like how there are hearts within hearts within hearts and that you were able to fill the entire space. What a lot of work you put into this postcard - thank you!
Response: Not too pink? Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.
Comment: I love that tangled bat! It's perfect, thank you. What's the name of the pattern you've used for the background? The swirls are so dynamic. Could be the visualized sound waves the bats are making. :)
Response: Thank you! It's called "Pop-cloud" [Link](http://tanglepatterns.com/2012/07/how-to-draw-pop-cloud.html)
Comment: Very cool looking card! I love zentangling! I do it sporadically, I guess. I'll see what I can come up with for this card. It's looking pretty darn good to me already! Thanks for the nice note!
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful "tangled hearts" postcard! I love how the hearts nest into one another! Our temps are rapidly dipping into the freezing zone. Our leaves have pretty much blown away in all the wind we are having. The wind and seas are both howling this morning. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thank you so much for doing this one-on-one ribbon/lace trade with me! It really helped me out to destash all that ribbon, and it's nice to know it went to someone who will appreciate it. The package I got from you is so lovely! The lace is just gorgeous, and I was surprised to receive some pretty washi tape samples as well. <3 <3 Thank you so much again!
Comment: Hi Cecily! Thank you for the collaboration swap that i received today. Interesting background and i am not sure yet what direction this will go from me yet.......I think the originator will find this pc swap very interesting! Thank you Cecily!
Comment: Fun card. I'll have to think how to finish it properly. I liked hearing about your dog. My Australian Cattledog doesn't like to go outside either and she snorts at us (like a little piggy) when she's displeased with something. Funny.
Comment: I LOVE BARN OWLS and I LOVE birds of PREY...... this is a fabulous swap..... I love the stickers.....and it would have been OK to put in some vermin.......going to send you a PM.....thanks!!!!
Comment: Wow! This one looks amazing! You matched that background so perfectly, I thought at first it was one section! Thanks for the nice note, too. I don't understand people who want stickers instead of original art. I'm just the opposite. Stickers make me cringe, although I have received some handmade ones that I loved. I think maybe that was you? Enjoy your coming retirement! I'm loving mine!
Comment: Thank you for the fabulous postcard! I also love the push to create we give ourselves here. :) I have a lovely wall of postcards that I keep adding to that is growing so beautifully on my hallway wall from swaps.
Response: I had to buy more magnets to hold my collection to my steel book cabinets at work.
Comment: Hey again! Loved this fun mail...your envelopes are so cool, and I LOVE that note paper, the little piece where you wrote the note to me. That is some very cool paper. All the ephemera, too...wow! I'll be using that tiny gecko in my section of this one :)
Response: Thank you. Yeah, that gekko die cut is one of my favorites.
Comment: Thanks Cecily for the swap and all the extra goodies! Will finish this swap and send it home to the original owner! Thanks! Ill be with it to decide what needs to be done! You always send me great swaps to add to! What great goodies to use on future swaps perhaps! Until we swap again! Thanks for the information that you sent me still have not practiced yet with what you shared. Need to get on things! Thanks again!
Response: You're welcome and thank you for the rating & heart. How did you decide to finish it?
Comment: Wow! What a nice surprise in my mailbox today. I just love your Eagle. Even though it was tangled it looked very real. Outstanding job and I loved how you made into a postcard. Have a great day everyday. bearnbabs
Comment: Cecily!! I loved the postcards!! I got 2, I guess the third one is on its way still!!! They are FANTASTIC!! Thank you so much for this swap and for your friendship and words of encouragement!! Love your way!
Response: Thanks, Maria - I'm glad they got there and even more glad you like them!
Comment: Thanks! I got it today. I love the butterflies, and I am excited to finish the last square of this. There is lots to look at. I will take a picture and make sure you see a copy of the finished one. Oh and I LOVE the ephemera... all the little foiled pieces! Just yummy
Response: Thanks! I can't wait to see the finished piece.
Comment: Cecily--the background and butterfly on this ATC are beautiful! Thanks very much. My background was not as beautifully done, but I did enjoy the process. Hope to see you again in one of these swap soon! I hope you record breaking heat lets up soon. I've been here in the Houston metro area for 40 yrs. and am just beginning to be less bothered by the 6 months of dreadful heat and humidity. But I really miss having all 4 distinct seasons. Happy Swapping!
Comment: Just adore this fabulous heart postcard. What a piece of art I will have when I am done collecting and framing. The use of the silver heart looks extraordinary on the embossed paper. Thank you and well done. Hugs and Hearts, Mona
Response: I hope you'll post your completed collection at the end. It's interesting to see how other people interpret the challenge. I think the hearts inspired people more than the circles did for some reason - going by what all I've received so far.
Comment: Thank you so much for resending - my neighbor (who was collecting my mail for me) loved your envelope and was intrigued by the decorations. Thanks for sending me some extra die cuts. You are a super star - thanks.
Response: I'm sorry the first one never showed up.
Comment: Thanks for the envie & nice goodies inside the envelope: especially the tissue (?) with 'kind-of-flower-cut-outs' rainbow-colored ... I love it! And very lovely piece of marbled paper!!! <3 - Ellen
Comment: Hi Cecily! Your envelope and collaboration pc #34 arrived tonight. I am going to work on it and send it right out onto the next collaborative swap #35! Thank you for your personal note Cecily! Did the blizzard come as you said they were predicting? I hope you are not having snow now. Hasn't it been a long winter? We had 4 snow storms here and we hardly get snow! we are tired of winter here and are ready for spring NOW! Does that sound familiar! I've got an idea about what to add to the work you sent and going Wild! There are 2 other people who will need to make their marks after me! Hehe! I hope you enjoy receiving it and not it is a big surprise to you when u see it! Bye for now!
Response: It wasn't much of a blizzard - 5 inches (which somehow winds up to 2 feet on the end of the driveway). I think the snow is over now, but April snow is not unheard of.
Getting an idea is often the hardest part. Looking forward to receiving the end piece. I'll post a pic, so you can see, too.
Thanks for the rating and even more for the note!
Response: Yes, I think this one worked better for me than the one that got lost - even though I had to glue the layers together again (they didn't appreciate the wetness of the watercolor). Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely extras! It will be difficult to use them and not keep one for myself...Do I will keep the butterfly for myself!! I love how I can see part of the nutritional info from the packaging. I'm going to turn it into a fridge magnet! I had the same thought (about bugs) when I opened it, I thought good thing I LOVE bugs ! I have just recently read so many profiles of ppl scared of bugs, don't know what they'd do with these creepy crawlies! Love the PC, sending it home today.
Response: Refrigerator magnet is a good idea. Thanks for the heart! Did you take a picture of the card before you sent it home? I'm always curious how they turn out...
Comment: Great beginnings on the card. Hope I can live up to that standard of art. The metal punches are amazing!! Something I will try real soon. I recently got a Cuttlebug, hope it works on soda cans. I am using black, white & red on a series of PCs I am swapping. these hearts will fit right in - if I can bear to give them up.
Response: Cuttlebug should work fine - soda cans are very thin - I cut the tops & bottoms off with a single edge razor blade and ordinary scissors. Intricate dies like for butterflies can be tricky, but simple shapes and embossing are easy. Manicure filing sponges are good & cheap for sanding & buffing. I hope you have as much fun with that as I have.
Comment: Lovely ants and aluminium (that's "aluminum" to you!). The citra-solv paper you sent me is just great. I've never seen it before. It reminds me of the scraps of paper left over from darkroom printing, when the fixer is wearing out. Thank you!
Response: Thank you, SuMay, for the heart. I hope you can use the paper even though they are only small pieces that fit in the envelope.
Comment: Excellent job on this ATC! I don't know about you, but once I got started burning, it was hard to stop. I used to use this technique when I was decoupaging, pictures onto wood. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Yeah, it was fun. I had a candle and tin dish for safety. I'm a bit curious about the before & after, but I don't really want to offend anyone, you know.
Comment: Thanks Cecilia for the lovely postcard. I see that I finish it and send it out to the original artist who put out to be worked on! Thank you for telling me about the process that some of the people used. It was exciting to see what others have done with the art project. You did an awesome job on your part as well! It is fun talking and getting something from you! Have a.great year swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the very creative interpretation of the map theme - I really like it!! (Sorry this rating is late - the postcard slipped between the seat in the car and I only found it this weekend!)
Comment: Thank you so much for the interesting extras, along with the P&P pc. I like the black background & textured space, that you added to the postcard. Funny what you wrote about my profile, as I've experienced people saying the opposite after reading my wishlists & the ABC's about me with things I like or admire. I love the body-art bling stickies! I've actually always wanted to try out some of that to embellish paper crafts! So thank you very much! I also love your repurpose flower envelope & sparkly seal, plus how you decorated the outer envie, too! ~ Cari
Comment: Thank you for the PC. I remember my mom drinking TAB growing up, crazy they brought it back. ;D
Response: It's the only soft-drink that has genuine, accept-no-substitutes, sodium saccharine in it. They never stopped making it altogether, but it was hard to come by (like cane sugar Coke)... Apparently, it has a following. It's not that bad.~~~Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Cecily thank you for the resend of this swap! it arrived and it is a very lovely pink and brown collage! I loved the use of the subtlety hand dyed doilies over the marvelously textured background. Had to look very closely at the postcard! I'm putting it up in my studio! Thank u for resending this piece that must have gotten lost? You are e a great sport about this swapping and what have a gre at sense of humor about the entire thing! it ran arived! YEAH!
Comment: Thank you so much for everything !! I can't praise this swap enough I have not tried the shaving cream method yet . Thank you for the many and beautiful extras I love the die cuts; I am always looking for lace; and I needed the ATC sleeves <3 <3 <3
Comment: Thank you so much! I love the punch outs from the Arizona tea can. Did you use a regular punch? And does it harm your punches? I'm looking forward to working on this postcard.
Response: Yes, I did use regular small hand-held punches. I don't think it hurts them because the aluminum in soda cans is so thin nowadays and because the way to sharpen dull punches is to punch aluminum foil, so....well, time will tell.
Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Love love the like, tattoo things? I dont know what I am going to be doing with them quite yet, but it will be something good, I tell you that! The envie was aweseome! I love the mirror effect you made by drawing two of them. Awesome!
LATER THAT NIGHT: I stood up the the Tetley tea note fell from my lap to the floor! Earlier, I was wondering why someone would put that much effort in and and NOT SEND A NOTE!!! Hahaha. Yes, mythology would kind of like be religion, but not really. Hahahaha. I am so tired! I just do not actively practice anything in particular. I really adore clouds and the sky? Does that count? Tiny mysteries. Yeah.
Response: Thanks for the heart. I used the Tetley card for the note because you seem to have an appreciation for reused found images. Of course, in my mind, it being in an envelope made it obviously a card, but I guess it wasn't really very obvious at all. I'm glad you found it at the end, lols.
Comment: Ooohh, I love it! Water color is a beautiful effect and you use it very well, thank you for the wonderful work of art! Really like the flower stamp you used to separate address from text. Western NC BBQ is more tomato bases and Eastern is more vinegar based. I'm with you on not liking the vinegar based as well, but I do like it.
Response: Thank you - I'm so glad you liked it. :)
Comment: Just for the envelope alone I give you a heart. Thank you...where ever did you find the napkins or is it tissue paper? I love butterflies . I will get this p/p card done and on it's way in the next round. Happy swapping.
Response: It's a Dollar Store napkin that I lucked into. I wanted to try the technique of ironing the napkin and plastic wrap I saw on youtube. I'm glad you liked it.
Comment: Thank you for swapping! I received not one ATC but 3, and all were equally amazing :) I will put up photos in our pinterest group soon, so the others can see your marvellous work! Have a great week!
Comment: Thank you for a wonderful package. My favorite is the piece of fabric you dyed. I also really treasure the doilies you made They are perfect. Thank you for joining my swap! I am so happy you enjoyed it. I am always drawn to tea/coffee stained items and one day I just dived in and made some. Aren't they fun and addictive? I never looked at left over coffee the same way after that. Your card is very pretty! I plan to use some of the paper for my one ring journals, and some might become ATCs. I have been doing tea dying for a few months and really wanted to swap it. Thank you for the package! I didn't expect such wonderful piece of happy mail.
Comment: Thanks for your patience with my rating while I was on vacation. This one is really cool. I will add to it and look for the next version of the swap. I love your eggshell Mosaic. How creative! I might use that technique on an ATC I have coming up! Wow, thanks for the inspiration. ðŸ¦
Response: Thanks - it's fun to do except for taking out the membrane.
Comment: I like your take on the theme (which is one I find challenging), and I very much appreciate the little extras. The little handmade envelope you put your note in was a lovely piece of eye candy, not to mention those glitter stickers which I think I will use to decorate my brand new planner. Thanks! :)
Response: Thank you and you're welcome. Those stickers are meant for Indian girls, especially dancers, to stick on themselves, but I think they're cute on other things. I found the theme challenging, too (not a jingoist).
Comment: Thank you so much for the great Not-a-postcard. It made it to me safely and it brightened up my day. Enjoy your spring. We've had plenty of cold and rainy weather here. Take care. :)
Response: We passed the equinox now so spring is over. I don't really like the hot weather but I like the light. We are north enough that it makes a difference in the length of days. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Hello - I just want to tell you that I loved your ATCs! I am especially stoked that you used Angeleafe and Dealys! I will be showing them off in class and crediting you, when I teach these tangles :) Have a great weekend.
Response: Those are really nice tangles - I enjoyed using them. I'm sure they will be well used.
Comment: Thank you so much for the "vintage" card. We just saw a 9/11 memorial in Laguna Beach while visiting my in-laws, it was made of some of the building wreckage and a reflecting sphere. It's amazing how much time has passed and how fresh it still is.
Comment: Love the postcard you sent, but I'm sorry to report that it now looks like it's been through a thrashing machine. Nope, not courtesy the USPS, but rather, my incorrigible dog Gulliver, who, in an exuberant display of "Welcome home," grabbed the card and roughed it up a bit. It's actually quite funny and even endearing; I'll keep that postcard forever! Thanks so much!
Comment: Thank you so much Cecily for not only sending me one but two fabulous Gem Zentangles. They are both lovely, but if I had to pick a Favourite, the green square gems are just lovely. Thank you again
Response: Thank you. I'm glad it finally got there.
Comment: Thank you so much! Cecily, I received all 3 of your Zentangles! They are all spectacular! Wow! Loved them all.
Response: I was waiting for the first one to be returned - did you really get it ok? Do I owe you anything on it? I don't know how much postage my husband actually put on it.
Thank you so much for the rating! Made my day :)
