Comment: Emika, loved the ATCs. Yours is the first fabric ATC that I have received. The colors were perfect and I also love eyelash yarn. Funny that we both sent zentangles. Your is much better but I am working on it. Hope we can swap again!
Comment: I got your card today and I love it! I am using all my cards as examples when I teach my son's school Zentangles and I am sure this will be a favorite. I am hosting a Zentangle Pattern ATC swap if you are interested, you can find it on my profile.Thank you again.
Comment: I have no idea what happened to the rating I gave you (the coordinator star is still there). I couldn't find the rating when I was looking at your profile just now (great profile description, BTW). Loved the card you sent, thanks so much. This was a great swap, thanks for hosting it - hope you do another one some time.
Comment: I wish i could give you 5 hearts! What a wonderful and special journal :0) I am enjoying reading this so much. The art work and creative entries are fantastic! Thank you so much for sending such a wonderful swap!!
Comment: Thank you so much for hosting and organizing this swap. It was SO much fun, even though challenging. I really like what you and Sandra did with my background, the ATC ends up complex and interesting and pretty to boot!
Comment: Thanks, I really love your zentangled cards. I've just started learning this technique and am really enjoying myself. Your cards will inspire me with some new patterns I haven't seen. Thanks again!
Comment: Emily, thank you so much for the beautiful needlebook! I love that you made it in my favorite color. The felt is so nice and your stitches are just perfect. I am immediately going to put it to good use.
Comment: Thank you for the ATCs. I love how you incorporated blue into your tangles. And your two-pencil string looks great. That's one technique I'm having trouble with so sein yours has helped me a bit. Thank you.
Response: Thanks! Actually, it took me a while to get the double string, too. I think I stringed three or four ATCs for every one that ended up tangled!
Comment: I didn't think you could top the red fabric ATC, but the crazy quilted ATC (profile swap) is one of my all-time favorites. You're a delight to have as a swap partner, Emily, thank you SO much!
Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you like them both, and thanks for your wonderful comments, you really made me day! :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the great ATC you sent me. It's very strange to see an ATC of your own made with different mediums. This was a very nice swap, and I had real fun with it, thanks for hosting it!
Comment: Thanks for a nice comment. I def. recommend visiting Slovenia, it really is a beautiful country. Ljubljana is a great city, but I'd recommend you to visit Lake Bled, it's such a wonderful place. :)
Comment: Well, I must say that you have an amazing list of favourite books if ours are the same! lol I love all the historical based books.. they are truly addicting!I have watch tidbits of the Bourgais but haven't truly given it a chance to totally grasp me. Have you heard about the attempted suicide of Jonathan Rhys Meyers? I was shocked and saddened!
Comment: No I have never tried fabric ATC's, and the only reason is that my sewingmachine is broken. But I really want to try it. I also plan to try to felt some of wool :o) Thank you for the group invite, and nice comment! :o)
Comment: Thank you for the comment.
I don't even know where to begin sewing bags. But I have a yard of fabric I know I want to use for a purse. It just has to be basically the easiest purse ever to sew, lol.
PS. I love how much effort you must have put into your profile. It really does give new meaning to the term "well-filled out profile".
Comment: oh wow, the moose stationery sounds super cool! i would definitely love it if you found it. =) we have a pad here at our walmart 50 sheets for $3.50 - it's super cool, but i hesitated on getting it last time. this time i go i will snag it. =)
Comment: I love both of the ATC.s Wow. How did you do the hole in one with the bead? Interesting, but wonder how you did it. So cool. Thank you, Patrice
Response: Thanks! I had some free time today, so I wrote a tutorial about how I made the windows in the ATC. [Here](http://anatcaday.blogspot.com/2011/07/how-to-make-fabric-atc-with-window.html) is the link. Thanks for the nice comment and the heart!
Comment: Thankyou very much! I can't wait to put them all back together, I hope it all works out because I plan to frame it! Thanks for hosting this fabulous swap. x (p.s, I was really intrigued by the envelope you sent it in, we don't have anything like that over here.) x
Comment: They were awfully terrible...the only problem was that I got an ATC for a regular swap a few days ago and thought it was for the Awful, Terrible Crappy swap until I read the note. You actually took more time with these than was taken with the other one....but thank you so much for a wonderfully fun swap.
Comment: Hi Emily! I got your awesome zines today. I love the finger puppets. I going to try making these with my girls over the summer. :) And the zentangle one is super cool too! Thanks so much for swapping with me! :)
Comment: I love your zentangle it is so nice and neat...many thanks for the zine..I like to carry around small books of tangles and this fits right in. (I have a baggie with pens and cards so I can work on things when I am out) Many thanks...
Comment: I gave you a heart because I really loved your ATCs! I've been getting a lot of flimsy stickers on prints and it's been a bit disheartening so I'm glad someone else out there is putting in the effort!
Comment: I just love the fabric "3". I am a quilter and it is perfect. I even have some of the pink back ground fabric. I think it is a hoot! So far and still some of the same things!
Thank you very much.
Comment: thanks so much for the kind comments! Yes, i love making those journals, and i also do composition book ones too. I have a art bazaar coming up in May that I am trying to make tons of new stuff for! The bracelet was a stretch for me...but i think it turned out nice & my partner liked it, which was most important to me! Thanks for being in this swap! Have a great weekend! :)
Comment: Hi! I have been trying to think all day of the name of the dang site I was swapping on - I stopped after swap-bot, a you are correct, the accountablity was terrible! Always enjoy hearing from you! If I remember the name, I will let you know - they changed their site as well, and it became less user friendly; I need all the help I can get!! lol
Comment: Hi, we have just started Autumn here in Australia though it's still quite warm during the day. I am studying Children's Services, I hope to one day work with foster child or terminally ill children =)
Comment: Thanks for the great comment! I heard about that new series "The Borgias" and have to start reading up on them so I know what to expect, but it will definately be a winner with me! Happy Swapping:-)
Comment: Hi Emily! Thank you for your nice profile comment! Yes, I am SUPER excited to be planting a patio garden this year! This will be my first time attempting it, so wish me luck! ;) I am planning to grow a few different kinds of flowers, cilantro, and pea pods! I am going to do the cilantro in a smaller, decorative rectangular pot; the flowers will be in a nice big pot, bunched together and I will probably do the pea pods in a medium sized pot - not sure, never done this before! Good luck with your balcony garden!! Cheers!
Comment: Hi! Unfortunately, I don't know much about Hungarian history, as we never touched on that region of Europe much out of the world wars in school. :( But I do plan to teach myself all about the entirety of Europe one day!
As for my favourite classic, that definitely goes to The Picture of Dorian Gray. But for recommendations, I would say Alas Babylon (if this counts as a classic), All Quiet on the Western Front, The Hobbit, and Utopia. :)
Comment: I loved your pattern book emily!
You made really unique patterns and the borders are awesome. I'm making another little keyring pattern booklet just for you and ill send it as soon as ive finished xx
Response: Oh, wow, thanks!! And I'm so glad you liked the book I made :)
Comment: Wow this was really impressive. I love the last one, it has curved spikes with rings wrapped around each one, and on the middle spike, you drew little stars coming out. I like the lines with the squares that are half black and half white too. It reminds me of those beads people hang in doorways =). Ooooo and the one on the first page where you drew 4 lines and it looks like theres ribbon wrapping around them. lol and the dripping letters are pretty rad too, thanks for the awesome inspiration!!
Response: Glad you liked it :) It was such fun to draw, and it was hard to send it away. So I made a photocopy of the pages to keep for myself, too!
I might host a 2nd round of this same swap. I'll let you know if I do :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely ATC. It's the first fabric card I've ever received, and you did such a great job on the embroidery. If you make an alphabet, I think you will have a lovely collection of calligraphy letters. :) Thanks again!
Comment: Hello. This is my first time in this website to receive a card from Hungary. Thank you. In fact I have lots of Hungarian stamps issued during 50s--80s, so a little pity could not to see on your card what the Hungarian stamps nowadays look like.
Comment: Thanks for sharing! I loved all of the photos~! As for the trim, I actually had wallpaper just like that in the house I grew up in! It was purple instead of tan, but the real estate agent told us that it was just supposed to be "decorative, abstract wallpaper". Haha, if that helps any...
Comment: I need more heart buttons, you deserve more than just the one. Thank you so much for the time and effort you have put into making this beautiful ATC for me. I hope I get to swap with you again, Sx :D
Comment: It's truly disappointing that you don't know a thing about Lithuania as Hungary is only two countries away from LT and is also a member of European Union. Anyways, we do have some pine forests so the heart goes to your fiance ;) If you're ever curious about what Lithuania is like, just ask ;)
Comment: My favorite part of the entire package was the ATCs! They were VERY neat and creative. Your zen image was beautiful as well. I have never done a Zen before, but I am going to have a blast doing this for the first time! Thank you.
Comment: these were beautiful i can see why you had a hard time narrowing it down to just a few, great work. My favorite was the windmill. I have not seen a pic with such detail. I would love to try doing it with pressed flower art. here a pic i did of 1 from the Ukraine.
