Comment: Love your little book. Did you make it?
Like the answers also, very clever.
Response: Thanks for the heart. Yes, I made the book and I couldn't help but add the responses in back right before I mailed it out. Sorry if it got sloppy in some areas. Handwriting and me don't always get along well!
Comment: Hello Jen.... and THANK YOU very much for the map with words....wow I don't know much about Indiana....actually have only been in your state a few times, but this made me look it up and WoW it looks beautiful..... I love scenic places where one can shop also!!!!! and I LOVE TO COOK and love KISSES so this made me smile...... hugs and happy swapping!
Comment: Hello Jen,
I had a great time reading this journal as it had some wonderful lists in it. Thank you for adding some great new lists to them and completing them as part of your entries. Thank you for an interesting list question for me to respond to, as well. I have really enjoyed this swap.
Comment: U R freaking amazing! what a creative way to present ATC -- in 'personnel files' ! funny how we chose some of the same illustrations to work from :) ALOT of cutting/pasting! but so official looking in keeping with the theme. The intro cover sheet made me LOL big time! We must devise a part 2 -- this was too much fun!
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful list. I think it's really fantastic that you're setting such a strong example for your daughter. I hope you find something extra special under the tree! Here's hoping Santa will cut some air holes in the box if it's number 10 on your list he sends your way!
Comment: Hi Jen - I got your postcard and another from this swap today. Both of your said that your mouth gets you into trouble. Too funny. Thanks - Carol (twinb
Response: Well, as the saying goes, truth hurts! I thought I had you for two swaps! Funny how things work out, isn't it? My daughter, who recently joined, got my name for 2 different swaps as well! We had to laugh, as we sit down together and work on our similar swaps and brainstorm ideas, etc.
Comment: Great use of stickers to highlight the words to describe you! What do you teach? Jolene
Response: For the past seventeen and a half years, I've been a teacher's aide, meaning I've worked with kids with a variety of disabilities. In Dec. of 2009, I walked the collegiate stage, thus obtaining my bachelor's degree in elementary education. I am in the process of looking for a teaching job; however, with today's economy added to the fact that I live in Illinois (home of 5 or so corrupt governors), prospects aren't looking too hot! I'm keeping my fingers (toes, and every other feasible body part) crossed right now for an upcoming teaching job around where I live!
