Comment: Thanks for the neat selection! I thought I had a dejavu experience but I checked and you and Karen have a similar selection. Not complaining at all, lol. Just curious - maybe you’re friends and do this together?
Comment: Hello Sarah! Yeah! The PC arrived on Friday night! I never got the first one so it must have gotten lost! Thank you fork the resend. The Useless facts you sent over were worth waiting for! I think they were great! Thank you for the resend. I love Hawaii too! Saw that the inks to print the PC wwe ecologically-sound ink! LOVE IT! Thank you again!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard of your library, I assume. I also like the quotation you chose. My mother and my daughter loved all of the books in the series that follows "The Clan of the Cave Bear," but I never got into them. I begin to think I need to give them another try. Happy Swapping!
Comment: Hi Sarah! Thank you for the package! It had a bit of trouble going through the post office but thankfully arrived in one piece. I love the variety of little pieces of ephemera and especially love the magnetic bookmark.
Comment: Thank you! I love the Chicago PC. I really need to get over there some time. Thank you for the compliment. No, my name isn't a family name. My mom named me after a character off of an 80's spoof soap opera called SOAP. Now a days, I hear my name more and more used. Not a fan of that. But thanks still!
Response: I love Soap! Watched it growing up and have it on DVD. lol!
Comment: Hi neighbor! I loved the washi with the tickets and such in it, I had just watched a YouTube video this week on making embellishments using something like that, so excited to get busy on that! I think is surprising that all our mail gets processed out of Pensacola, isn’t it? I love your address stamp too! Thank you for the envelope of goodies!! 💙
Comment: Hi Sara! Got your PC just a few minutes ago as i went to my P.O. box which means walking down to the end of the block. Hehe! Ive been to Disneyland in California but not to Florida. I’m not sure i will be going to Disneyworld. All is wel here! Are you planning to go to either places? Be well!
Comment: Your facts are very interesting. Oddly this is the first card to arrive without a single postage mark.. haha! I was so surprised when the card arrived in absolute perfect condition with no marks! What a joy :)
Comment: Thank you for the nice post card. I think the poor little card may have gotten lost in the mail somewhere. I just received it a couple of days ago. And there is not cancellation or post mark on it. BUT IT DID MAKE IT !!! Thanks again.
Response: I have gotten quite a few that way. Christmas time is the worst time to mail anything. :) Glad it made it to you!
Comment: hi! thank you so much for the swap. Gosh, it traveled a while, none of your fault though -the postoffice put a sticker on it,"address wrong" and corrected it with the same addy, which was correct from the start. weird& i will ask the postoffice. anyway, it got here and in one piece :D
Comment: Thanks so much for the postcard! There is never enough time in the day to finish chores when we'd rather be spending time with our swaps!
My clothes are in the dryer and they'll stay there until I'm desperate! Lol! Have a great day!
Comment: Thank you for your answers. Want to hear something funny? I couldn't figure out why you didn't answer all 20 question. Then I checked the swap again only to find that I was wrong, we only had to do 10. But I sent all 20!! Argh!! LOL!!
Response: :) Well there is nothing wrong with being thorough!
Comment: Belated, belated thank you for another swell swap, from the card selection (the Whittredge makes me excited for autumn :) to the adorable extra dog notepaper and tiny dog parade on your swap sticky note ♥
Comment: Belated thank you for the spiffy vintage (deckle-edged! yesss :) Wells Fargo Express Office card from Frontier Town and historical trivia. (Of course, I have the song from The Music Man stuck in my head now, heheh.) I'm just disappointed in that advertising campaign positioning STEM as superior, separate, and/or exclusive from the arts. (I prefer a STEAM emphasis :) and only wished my high school had, too.) Happy Wednesday!
Comment: Belated thank you for the charming scene from Peter Rabbit's family life and surprising rabbit digestion tidbit, Sarah! Hope your September has been going well and that your mailbox has been full :)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely recipe card, a good one for such a hot summer. Loved your list too. Horses make me nervous too :( and I think sometimes I like my animals more than people too! I hope you're having a good summer.
Comment: I'm so sorry that it took me so long to rate you. I've been working 10-12 hour days/ 7 days a week for the last 6 weeks and things have been crazy!! Thank you for the cool card. Love the quote! :-)
Comment: I'm so sorry that it took me so long to rate you. I've been working 10-12 hour days/ 7 days a week for the last 6 weeks and things have been crazy!! Thank you for the card. It creeps me out too. :-)
Comment: I got home from vacation last night and your homemade envie was waiting for me. The postcards are very cool! The chicken note card tells me you read my profile. Not sure about the swatches but I'll look up the website. Thanks for everything. Oh, and the envie is very pretty.
Comment: Sarah, thank you for the wonderful postcards! I love cards like the Disney and children's ones because one day I would love to share them with my little niece. They're perfect for my collection! Thanks!
Comment: I totally adore how you put your facts together. Your story about purple totally hit home and I love how you put your current CDs in there. Thanks for joining my little swap. You made it worthwhile! :)
Response: You are welcome! I had a lot of fun doing the swap!
Comment: Thank you for the card. Rabbits are adorable. I did not know they could not vomit either. We have several rabbits where we live. One comes in our yard every night (they've actually started to come during the daytime too which must mean we are overpopulated with them around here...) and it drives my cat crazy, hahaha. I collect animal cards so thank you very much! Enjoy your summer and stay cool!
Comment: How did you find out you were allergic to red food dye?! thats interesting :)
Response: When I was a little girl I was plagued with UTI's. Since my daddy had kidney problems they were watching me close. At the millionth time at the docs one of the nurses mentioned the idea to my mom. She started testing the theory and found out it was true.
Comment: Thank you for the adorable vintage Willimantic/NYHS thimble ad card -- the little boy's outfit reminds me a bit of Tweedlee/Tweedledum :) -- and for sharing that tidbit about you. Happy weekend!
Comment: Hi Sarah your message was awesome that you sent to your letter carrier! It was so well received by the carrier that there was no postage mark sent on the card to me! YES your PC was read by the station that you mailed it at. It came in a pristine way which was beautiful and rare! YEAH to you! Kool! I wanted to let you know how it arrived! Thank you for sending this PC to me! Got it 15 minutes ago!
Comment: Thank you for the colorful, cool vintage cacti card -- it reminds me of summer roadtrips with my family as a kid :) and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's hilarious "Love Kernels" music video -- wonderful postage (especially the red pears!), and your message! Hope chore day went well :)
Comment: Hello Sarah,
Thank you for the 12 postcards you sent me for this swap. When I received this swap in the mail and I went through the postcards I found a number of them that I really liked. So, I have added the ones I liked to my Poetry Collection. Thank you for sending me a nice assortment of postcards.
Comment: Thank you for brightening my Wednesday with this excellent, thoughtful selection of cards and extras, Sarah! I love them all -- the vintage IBM/REI ad, the famous spiral staircase inside the Chapel of Loretto, Durrie, Cary, and Renoir paintings, and the vintage parade float :)
Comment: Thank you for the charming view of Hammersmith Farm and brief history lesson, the cheery greetings, and iridescent butterfly sticker, Sarah! I would love to visit the Kennedy "summer White House" one day :) Hope you're having a good week!
Comment: An vintage Arizona PC...doesn't look then or now like a state I'd choose to inhabit. Worked in AZ...hot is hot no matter the "dry heat." :) Thanks for reminding me how grateful I am to have been born in TN. Hearts and hugs....jinanne
Response: Lol, Georgia born here and nope, don't need the desert!
Comment: Thanks but you were suppose to write something about yourself. I would have liked to get to know something about you. :) Just saying. 3/22/17--You did just write a quote and that's all, but sorry if I made you feel like you had to resend. I didn't mean to. I appreciate the second postcard though so I added a heart for you. Thanks again!
Response: I am sorry you were unhappy with what I wrote. Although I never write anything that does not have some bearing on my life at that moment. I will drop another in the post.
Comment: Thanks, I enjoy getting chatty letters that give me a picture of what's going on in your life. I hope that port roast was great and maybe the doggies got a little taste too. I don't envy your continual battle with the bugs of Flordia.
Response: They got more than they needed. LOL...so much for the diet
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful vintage image of a San Francisco cable car on Hyde Street -- I look forward to visiting one day soon, since I have two good friends who live there, and I've wanted to sample Caitlin Freeman's famous Piet Mondrian loaf cake at SFMOMA (and see the art, of course, heheh!) for a long time -- and for the interesting water bottle trivia! Happy weekend :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the resend - I am sad the first didn't make it - but oh my gosh talk about spoiled!!! I love everything it's all so beautiful and so me!!!! If you ever want to swap again I am more then happy to!!! Brilliant swapper!!!
Response: Thank you doll, I am so glad you liked it. We will swap again I am sure!
Comment: I loved the generous assortment of cards you sent. I especially enjoyed that you included a couple that were handmade. (Handmade is always heartworthy, in my world!) My faves, aside from the handcrafted cards, were definately the smoking waitress and the "tea time" Millie cards. (I'll be sending one of them to my mother-in-law, but I'm not telling you which one!)
Comment: Thank you for the greetings. :-) I love the Blackburn poem and the ritual is so detailed and interesting--it's wonderful. I love the natural ingredients but also love that you included their properties and associated Rune. Thanks again! Happy Ostara!
Comment: Hi Sarah, received ur photograhs 2day ;) Thank U 4 showing me ur house. Guess it's nice to stay next to the lake...quiet and tranquil. Your hse looks big...hse of this size would easily cost USD6 million here in Singapore...yes, no kidding. It's interesting to see the hse people live in on the other side of earth. Thank U thank U Sarah ;)
Comment: Sounds mean, but your card made me laugh! Just a little! My oldest gets it every year, but my DH and I can nearly yank it out with our bare hands and not get one blister. But, seriously, sending calamine thoughts your way!
Comment: Hey you! I finally got your package, which I LOVED! It didn't have any marks from the post office on it, so I think that your post office caused the delay, but I saw that on your profile. I really love everything you sent, you are such a doll. And it's one of the nicest swaps I received. Thank you so very much. I can tell how much care was put into this and it was really wonderful. Extra hearts! ♥♥♥
Response: I am glad it got there safe! I am also glad you enjoyed it. Bright Blessings!
Comment: Thank you so much for your postcard! Nearly all of the things on your list make me happy too! :)
Except strawberry shortcake, I'm not a big fan of that.
The picture on your card is really pretty, I love the colours.
Comment: Wow, what a beautiful and colorful butterfly card! Thanks so much. Hope you won't have to move if you like where you are. I grew up in Georgia, about 20 miles from Atlanta, a tiny place called Powder Springs.
Comment: I absolutely love the colors used on the picture portion of this card. Gorgeous. Haha, and you're so lucky that you weren't snowed in. It really sucked especially the no mail portion of the blizzard. :(
Comment: Thank you for the card, my son has stolen it to add to his colection of space craft. You are so right about other people's address sounding so elegant. Juniper Lake conjures up a lot of exotic images for me.
Comment: I just noticed your PC was postmarked a MONTH ago. I wonder where it's been all this time! I'm glad it finally arrived because it is just beautiful. I'd forgotten about Edmond Dulac. Now I want to check out more, so thank you. :)
Comment: Thanks for the Flash Gordon postcard. I just giggled reading ..."startling chapters of further adventures on a new planet"... Cracked me up. I gotta get me some of those startling chapters of further adventures but on this planet.
Happy thoughts - Carol (twinb)
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful beach pc.
Happy New Year!
Today I received a second pc from you so let me know if I got the swap ratings mixed up. Thanks for the FL map postcard for my collection.
Comment: Thank you so much for all the cool stuff. I work with the Humane Society here on fund raising and many other organizations so I am thrilled with all the items. Happy Holidays to you. Hugs, Mona
Comment: Wow! I love everything you sent. I already know I'm sending the cowboy card to my mom tomorrow and the little felt jacket (did you make that?) is getting a prominent place on my Christmas tree. It is the perfect color! Thanks a million!
Response: Your welcome! Acutually that one was made for me but I love the idea so I have been making them for people. That one was better though! LOL, I guess with practice it will come.
Comment: Thank you for the package of goodies! The wall stickers are fascinating and I couldn't stop touching the squishy butterfly stickers =) Thanks! (Also, thanks for the book mooch card...I'll definitely look into that! I have some titles that need to shift)
Comment: I got your letter and the card. I hope everything works out for you between you and your sister. My heart goes out to you. I also loved the card you send BTW. It made it onto my wall of my fave kitty cards. I LOVE cats!
Response: I am so glad you liked the card. It is one of my favorites as well. I also love cats, I have had my "Snow" for 17 years now. Thank you for the rating!
