Comment: a great photo, PLUS an actual duckie! Thanks so much - the duck in my bathroom was probably getting all lonely, so a new friend may be just the thing for her. Before yesterday, she had to live in my shower shampoo caddy and look sadly down at the party going on at my sink - all the samurai and Red Rose tea figurines and Playmobil pirate got to hang out all the time and she was feeling left out, but now all will be well!
Comment: Hello Anita,
I received your "O is for.... Postcard" for the swap with the same name. I appreciate the unique postcard you sent, sharing an origami Scottie with all the steps to create it. I have an ever-growing and ever-changing Postcard Collection and your Origami postcard will be a great addition to my collection. Hope you are having a nice Spring. I am sure I will be seeing you around Swap-bot World. Thanks again.
Comment: I used to live near DC and went into thee city all the time. The Iwo Jima Memorial is very impressive, and the view of the city from there is beautiful. I'm sorry this rating is so late.
Comment: I so hope you have a cleaning lady if you ever move into your dreamhouse. Also thanks for the extra postcard! And sorry for the delay in rating, been so tired lately that I never made it this far...
Comment: Thank you! I like to visit DC, wouldn't want to ever live there, but enjoy it when I get a trip there now and then. UPDATE: Just got a 2nd postcard of your dream house! Yea, I can envision those SS folks playing with your kitty. Scanning their toys, running their fingers through the catnip, checking for big terror dogs before letting them out to play....hahaha
Comment: Thank you! We have a Cedar Point in Ohio too, but it's an amusement park! I suppose the reason you don't get to see that particular lighthouse is it must be "top secret" being located on the Pax River Naval Base. You'll need 75 forms of ID and pass a security clearance from 15 years before your birth. Oh no...do you think they'll come after the postcard????? hahahah
Response: LOL! Yup they might come after that postcard!
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard! Nope, you haven't sent me a 'tobacco barn' postcard before. Infact, I had no idea they cure it like that, very interesting! I want to watch HGTV on a big screen at work!! :D
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard. And I have OFTEN wondered how those huge metal tubes get off the ground. My daughter especially loved the card because she wants to go to the Naval Academy and eventually fly jets.
Comment: Thanks for another great postcard! There are many farms near me that have horses & I have to agree that they are magnificently beautiful creatures! I love watching them graze the fields below my house... :D
Comment: Thank you! Double craziness! I've never been to DC for the cherry blossom season either, but it always looks so pretty. We need to put that on our things we must do list. And I didn't know about Federal Duck stamps either. So our mail is helping out the ducks of the US. The stamps are pretty. On another note -- they really need to come up with a new postcard stamp, I'm getting tired of this bobcat. Not that he's not nice, as the Bobcat is the mascot of Ohio University!
Comment: thanks so much for the penny & stickers! i actually grew up in leonardtown, md- what a small world! i just recently started collecting, and didn't have a maryland penny yet. this is more special than you know! thanks so much!
Comment: Thank you so much for the postcard.
Hope your wishes come true also.Did you
had fun playing in the snow in winter.
Again thank you so much for the card
it was so much fun getting it. Take Care.
Comment: Amazing, amazing, amazing! Possibly the best swap package I've ever gotten! Everything matched the Slytherin theme- from the tissue paper, to the ribbons, to the card. And you really went above and beyond for this one. I can't thank you enough!
Comment: thank you for the postcard!i received it today!! (its the first that i got) i can see that you spent some time drawing the lovely postcard.so the heart is for the thoughfulness! =)
thank you!oh and the free puppie is gorgeous~
Comment: Wow thank you soooooooooo much, and you put in chocolate soap!!!!! , You, my dear, ROCK :) Thank you so much. Ummmm p.s you did not put in a note so unless you are my partner in another swap Im assuming this is the swap for the package i recieved. Big Hugs Kris :)
Response: Yup, this is the right swap - remember I sent you a message about forgetting to put in a note....silly me. I'm glad you like your goodies!
Comment: I don't even know what to say. It is a very good thing I was sitting down when I opened your package, because I might have fallen over. Everything was absolutely GORGEOUS, especially the starfish (my jaw actually dropped). You went so far above and beyond...it's like someone told you to go take a hike and you climed Everest. Thank you a million times over.
Response: Oh I am so happy that you liked your package! I love the starfishes and I think I need to go back to the museum to buy more! I want to put them everywhere!
Comment: Thanks so much, Anita! I loved the little dog figurines. I couldn't believe it when I saw that one of them is a yellow lab puppy. I had a yellow lab, Maggie, and she was the love of my life - that little figurine will go to work with me and sit on my desk to remind me of her. The Strawberry Shortcake stickers and tatoos are awesome, too! I loved the mix of big and tiny bubbles - I've been trying to figure out how I can recycle them into something crafty. I gave you a heart because I loved everything about the package - even the colors of the bubbles! You rock!!! Lynne :)
Response: We'll have to start a recycled bubbble swap after we do a couple of these regular bubble swaps :)
