Comment: I wish I could give you more than one heart. I love everything you included in the swap package! Was that your childhood school picture? The dog paper with the pocket is cute. The stickers are adorable. The art PC is beautiful! Everything is super cool and I can't wait to use it all! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you so much for this absolutely amazing magpie! ♥️♥️♥️ It was such a joy to flip through the pages and discover all the bits and pieces. I even got some new ideas what to add into mine next time. Thanks for the cute little extras as well :) These pandas were so adorable!
Comment: Oh my goodness, you've been on swap-bot for a while, that's so awesome!!! Gah, you lived in Australia? Wicked! Thanks so much for all your answers, they were lovely! I hope we can swap again some time in the future. Have a wonderful weekend ^_^
Comment: Oh, Ang---what a grand journal you made!! THank you, thank you!! It is SO heavy and SO full of everything! Wow, great job on this swap! Sorry it cost so much to mail.....and thank you also for the cute little notebook. I will be looking at this many , many times!!♥️♥️
Comment: Ang, how freaking fabulous!! You are off to Korea!!! A massive achievement! I am so happy for you honey!! I am glad that this swap had such a positive impact on your life and you can see the benefits! Much love to you!
Comment: Dear Ang,
Thank you for the heads-up! I'm so glad that you were able to keep your goal! I'm very happy for you! I wasn't able to totally finish mine, but I am looking forward to accomplish it this year.
Thank you and regards!
Comment: Thank you so much for the gorgeous Magpie Journal. It made me hungry! There are so many recipes and wrappers. Your Hungry Jacks logo looks like our Burger King and I love that Twinings do an Australian tea. Such a fun read :-)))
Comment: I received your package today and had to read it cover to cover before I could do anything else! I love the way you put it together and all the bits and pieces you included. Dalek sounds like a great pal and he seems to at least sneak some very healthy foods. All your travel sounds very exhausting, but what a fascinating job you have! Thank you also for all the extra gifts you included. I love the Chihuly postcard; I saw some Chihuly glasswork at the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Missouri a few years ago and fell in love with it. This was such an awesome swap, thank you so much for making it so special!
Comment: Hello Ang,
Thank you for the 20 items you sent me for this swap. They were all creative choices that you made for each topic. I appreciate that you labeled each one. I will look forward to using them in the near future.
Comment: Thank you so much for the magpie. I love it so much. The book is so beautiful. Love all the stuff in it. You made me very happy ;-) Hopefully we can swap again someday!
Hugs from The Netherlands, Marian
Comment: I truly appreciated your comments, they were very sweet and I forgot about this swap briefly so they were a lovely surprise!! Thank you very much. I hope you enjoyed christmas and have a happy new year <3
Comment: Thank you so much for your wonderful journal, I love the way you put it all together. It is also great to learn more about you. I want to wish you good luck in Sydney! I can imagine it was a big "secret" to keep. If you are ever looking for a penpal, please let me know! I want to wish you and your family and friends a very good holiday season. 😘
Comment: I have decided to make some mini quilts for the 'Grand-fur-babies' in my life. When I was back in MN this June, my younger Son's female cat had claimed a small wallhanging I sent him. She was so cute as she rolled herself into it!
Comment: Thanks for stopping by! I find I read a lot at 2 times: right before bed, and at work. I have the Kindle and nook apps on my tablet, so I have plenty of books available. I also have a lot of time at work where I can listen and not be bothered, so an audible subscription is really useful for me.
Also, as far as your kiln question goes, I have my own kiln. It's too much of a drive to find a studio I can use, so a kiln was a better option for me.
Comment: Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. My husband and I still disagree on what exactly happened but that was not the first time one of our dogs seemed to see or sense things we could not :)
Comment: They were for 2 different swaps. I found my round one first on ebay for a few dollars. I got my flat one (actually slightly domed shaped) on amazon. I have bought a lot of rolodex cards on ebay for crazy cheap. It would have cost a lot more at the store. Thanks for posting.
Comment: Thank you for sharing your songs! I enjoyed them all... Its nice to know that you brought music in class!! Music is something every kid, let alone everyone would love (: Also ain't it easy to share videos on blogs?
Comment: Thank you!! I really loved your entry about Australia! I thought a long time that Sidney was the capital haha. Now of course I know that it is Melbourne ;-) Just kidding haha (I know it is Canberra haha)
Comment: It's so annoying to read about peoples vacations, I gt so jealous XD Australia is one of the top places I'd love to visit so it was soooo amazing to read about your trip, it seems you ha d a ton of fun :) I really enjoyed your photos as well, those are some amazing landscapes!
Comment: Thank you for the pictures, and sorry for the slighty late rate, I've been out of the country so I'm not catching up :) Dalek is a gorgeous dog! The spiderwebs looked beautiful, it seems Spring is closing in on at you end as well :) the dinner looks tasty, congrats on getting the chicken right :D
Comment: Thanks for the fun photos. Number one looks delicious and made me hungry! This was an interesting swap to see all the different interpretations of the assignement. I hope we partner again someday!
Comment: Hi Ang :) I am your Kiwi neighbour haha. Thanks so much for the swap and I really enjoyed reading you answers. I finish my degree this year and intend to save up and then get employed as an ESL teacher in Asia after that. I can't stand vegemite or marmite! Bleh! I suppose you either love it or hate it haha. Also I am so jealous of kidditch! Sounds so cool! Anywho, thanks so much for the swap :) ♥
Comment: Your photos are great! I love the one of Dalek! He's like one of my cats, who I can never get a picture of that isn't at least partially blurry! And your zygote - we've always called them Christmas cactuses - is beautiful! I've had them off and on, and they bloomed great for a couple of years, then just die. My house is not the greatest for indoor plants - not enough light. My grandmother had a huge one that went on and on for decades, but I don't think it survived my mom and me! Great photos - thanks for sharing!
Comment: I love your descriptive writing on the mismatched pair and Dalek is so adorable. I read that you can use a silver cleaning cloth or baking soda and water paste on just the silver part, but stay away from any pearl. Pearl just use mild soap and water and never soak.
Comment: Thank you for the month of happiness! Several of the things you mentioned made me recall similar happy events of my own, and that was nice. I like how happy events are all "epic" for you. :) I checked out the YouTube! Your students are talented! I liked the variety of creatures!
Comment: I finally got it :D Thank you very much for all these little things Angela, everything's so cute <3 I can't wait to drink all these teas, hot chocolates and candies ! And btw, your french is pretty good :) take care !
Comment: Thanks for the happy mail! I love upcycling things, so I did love an appreciate the envelope. My girls also loved the stickers. :) As far as Anne of Green Gables, I agree with you. I loved the books and the movies. I wish that they could have gone a little more with the books though because I enjoyed how her life turned out. :) Happy future swapping!
Comment: These are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much. I just adore the fairytale one - definitely my favourite. Thanks for all the trouble you have gone through with this package. On my side, it has definitely been worth it. <3
Comment: I received your package and it Looks AMAZING!!! I cant wait for January to start reading the letters! :) Thank you so much for doing this privately with me and for putting so much effort into the package! :)
Comment: ohhhhh, thank you so much! i've gone through all the cards already, and pulled out a whole bunch-- more than half!-- to for sure use in this year's NaNo :-) i'm so excited, and your cards will be featured in the opening scene: my MC family is moving unexpectedly, during the night... without him, LOL! which just starts his day of disaster and doom! thank you again! :-)
Comment: Wow, this looks very different from where I live. I love how much outside space you have, it looks great for writing (and reminded me of how I wish I had at least a tiny balcony to sit on). Thanks for the photos and the explanations!
Thank you for your delightful ATC! I loved the theme and the materials you used to make it ... how creative! Thank you also for the cool floral tissue - I'm looking forward to finding some fun ways to use it.
Comment: Got the Rapunzel ATC you made - I love it! It's so cute - and I love the punchie castles you have used in the background (gives me some ideas for future ATCs)! Thanks too for the pretty napkin that you enclosed - it's lovely and I'm sure it will find it's way into my artwork soon!
Comment: Thank you so much! I enjoyed looking through your photos and reading the descriptions of them! Thanks also for the stickers--and lovely knitting :)
Response: I'm so glad you liked them! You should see the photos now of the 'Road less travelled' after all the rain we had from the day after I sent them through to the end of last week! 5km of water over the road instead of 50 metres!
Comment: Wow! Thank you so much for the wonderful ATC. And I love the napkin and handmade paper you sent me.Huge Hugs, Deb
Response: The napkin is pretty, isn't it? It's actually decoupage paper! You can tear it up and use it to collage over the top of plain coloured surfaces (another one of my favourite pastimes) =) Hope you enjoy!
Comment: Great answers--thanks! Your life in Oz sounds very interesting to a city girl in Denver, Colorado USA! For some reason I have you pictured like Meggie from The Thorn Birds mini-series of long-ago. It was my favorite mini-series of all time!
Response: I'm hoping to visit Denver next year! I had friends from there when I was teaching overseas. Maybe our paths will cross sometime! =)
Comment: She was adorable! My six-year-old daughter immediately wanted to play with her - and because of her sturdy construction and easy-to-dress styling, I had no qualms about it. We've named her 'Noel' in honour of her red-and-green colour scheme and Victorian-styled face! Thanks so much for getting her to me safely, and hope that you too arrived at your final destination equally safely.
Comment: I am excited to receive your package this past week. I loved my first letter and cannot wait until I get to read the others. I appreciate all of the time and effort you put into this project. I will message you as the days pass. :) THANK YOU!
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful stocking! The stocking itself is adorable and of course I am impatient so I didn't wait for Christmas. I love everything that you sent, especially the socks! Thank you so much, your package made me smile!
Comment: I would give you more hearts if I could!! Obviously your package came today, and I absolutely LOVE my happy journal. I will live vicariously through you, and your travels. Though I would love to visit Sydney. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the drawings from the kids! Thank you so much!!
Comment: Thank you for sharing your week with me! I loved your ATCs and envelopes - you're so talented! Thank you very much for the extra goodies too. I can't wait to incorporate them into my own work soon.
Comment: Oh my gosh - what to say. I got the package today, and I was so thrilled while I was opening it!
The ATC's are so gorgeous and so tailored to my profile. I love, love, love all the stickers - that little ducky is so cute. <3
All in all - thank you so much! If I were able to give them to you, you'd have a dozen hearts.
Comment: great journal! I cant wait to make your soju drink recipe. There is a great korean restaurant near me and we all go there after the bars close for a late night snack and soju. And thanks so much for the goodies! my boyfriend and I both agree that those were the best gummy worms we've ever eaten!
Comment: thanks for the little bio able yourself and the survey. such fun! what you do for a living is one of my dream jobs [except i think i'd like to teach in japan instead, 'cause i'm more familiar with the area].
Comment: I loved the journal
we have alot in common ...as in we both love lists, talking, good music (rent, moulin rouge) and I loved the explosive-ness of the journal with all the envies. I sent my journal I hope you get it b/c I see that you are moving.
best of luck.
Comment: Your journal is AMAZING! I am having a blast reading it and learning about you. I can tell you put your heart and sole into it. Thank you for pouring yourself into this swap. I'm so thrilled to be the recipient of your journal. I LOVE it! You are extremely creative! Thanks SO much!
Comment: Your cards are awesome and I love them. i love the stationary you used for letter AND love the writings on the inside of the envelope. What fun to get a letter from another country. I enjoyed the whole package! Thanks, ATCarol
Comment: This genie made all my dreams come true! A beautiful letter, the cutest potholders ever, a bear cookie cutter, silicone cupcake cups, lavendar aromatherapy soap, a bath scrubbie, cool sticky alphabet, chocolate, and a fondue set--what a truly wonderful package to come home to! Wish I could give more hearts...
Comment: Hello Angela, I got your WONDERFUL package today! Unfortunately I have opened it already... the last couple of days have been hard enough... I'm having serious problems at work with my boss and I even considered quitting... Anyway, I LOVED those sour skittles (YUMMI!) never had those before... and everything else was just perfect! You're a darling and definetely put a smile on my face! :-)
Response: I'm so sorry you've been having such a hard time Sonia! But I'm glad my package made you feel better. Let me know if you want more sour skittles (one of the few things easy to find in Korea!)!
